naijathings: i have one pentium one laptop with Arabian keyboard and it uses mirror as webcam. comes with two free trailer batteries and one external toshiba fan for 20k. bring your wheel barrow to carry it.

naija_swag: A hundred and twenty thousand will get you a decent laptop with minimum of 4gb of RAM which is what matters most.As some pointed out,if you have an application server,a dbms,your favorite IDE,a browser and other tools you use open in a system,you will need a lot of memory so that the computer can run smoothly or you will not like it.

Don't you think 4gig RAM is perfect..

spikes C: yes ofcourse, it more than matters. imagine opening fireworks, dreamweaver, google chrome, opera, firefox, opera mobile emulator, notepad++, 3 explorer folders, 2 reference ebooks, ..etc etc and other services like modem dashboard, anti virus and others running



My advice, get a gaming laptop, something like dell alienware if you can afford it . but as beaf said, get the best your money can afford.

Will 120K get me a good gaming laptop i can use for for complex stuffs like 3d animation , programming and co...

Well i did mine and nothing happened. I know that feeling sha. You are afraid that if you do so so and so,it might cause some problems in the phone.

I used to have that kind of feeling,but i realised that phones were made to be customer friendly and not scary.. And i operate anywhere on ma phone,i go deep and deep and nothing happens..
If you stop getting scared of ya phone you will be able to solve most of it's problem with common sense....

He left school in anger after his teacher described him as addled; meaning, confused, dull stup!d... You know the drill.

School is not for the hyper intelligent. What could anybody have taught Bill Gates about programming? He taught himself as a kid in his spare time and as a mere boy, innovated beyond the wildest dreams of profs with the greyest beards and corporations with bottomless pockets like IBM (whom he as a young man, he muscled out of the top computing position in the World). What do you want to teach such a guy in in school?

It is sad though that, while in places like the US such prodigious brain power is rewarded, back home in Nigeria intelligent people are called names and given zero opportunities. In fact, many people see intelligent folk as a direct threat to their ability to make corrupt money. How would they import (and sell) spare parts for Ajaokuta if some kid can make these things right there at Ijebu-Ode or Awkunanaw? Who would invite foreigners in with mega kickbacks and other "waters under the bridge" when some guy in the creeks of Yenagoa or Warri can bring in a speedy and innovative fix?

Well i deleted mine some time back,and it didn't affect my phonne in any way.I did not see any needed to leave it on my phone cos i don't think i need it in any way.. I don't buy applications online,who get that time ...lol
