Geofavor:Some clearance officers might not say anything and clear you because they didn't spot the error. If you're cleared without anything being said about the discrepancy in your middle name, draw their attention to it. If they say it's fine, then fine. But I am almost certain you will fill correction. When filling the form, state that the name error is on your jamb result. Uniben will then edit your kofa page to match the name on your waec result after Senate approves the form you filled. Correction form takes time to get approved, the least that I've seen being two weeks because those students started clearance the day it began. Mine took almost two months. Some of my friend's few days to exam. That's why I dey advise una to start clearance EARLY. |
“The decision to suspend this directive was taken after due consultation with industry stakeholders and the general complaints by consumers across the country.” Forgive my obsession with little details but I find the use of the word "and" as used in that context nothing but an act of fffuckery and stupidity from the useless body who, rather than protect consumers, have sworn an oath with the devil to torment Nigerians ( as if our suffering isn't enough already). The wicked plan was simply reversed due to consumer outrage(which I am sure they never expected), not due to some bullshit industry stakeholder meeting which we all know never took place. Shame on NCC. Anybody who thinks there's an imaginary body - NCC or others- whose job is to protect the interest of average Nigerians like you and me is simply on a long thing. They all belong to same cabal; they are all animals, theives who all laugh at us behind our back. Implementing policies that will see Nigerians suffer depends on one and one thing only: how we react. If the reaction is toxic, they'll quickly organise an imaginary stakeholders meeting and cancel the policy. If it's not toxic enough - then the policy stands. PIGS |

1shortblackboy:Since when did talking too much become a crime? Or is this another shallow stereotype? Please let's not derail |
Acidosis:Stop using that primary school teacher stale line on me because if there's anybody who needs to be exorcised from the demonic spell of mental slavery, then that person is you. You believe in local witches who fly only by night in the sky. So you are the one in dire need of emancipation not me. When I wrote "Dreams are not real" the first time, I added "in this dimension of reality" in bracket but deleted it for the sake of the argument, as I didn't want to go too deep or cause unnecessary distraction that will confuse you. Dreams and interpretations bla bla bla. What's even special about dreams when people have mastered the act of controlling their dreams, what they dream about, etc? But I don't expect you to understand. Afterall, you believe in flying witches who use plantain leaf for aerial navigation. I am done too. Your reasoning dey gimme headache. |
Acidosis:It seems you are forgetting that this analogy actually does more harm than good to your argument because I can come out say an evidence of me dreaming cannot be provided because dreams are not real, just like you also cannot provide evidence of flying witches because they are also not real. You trying to wager the reality of flying witches with the reality of dreams just goes to show how real flying witches indeed are. It's all in the head bro. In other news, a thread just made FP about a "Supposed Witch" who was exorcised not by Tb Joshua or in the house of God, but in a Psychiatric Hospital. It was a very interesting read - as anything that has to do with debunking age-old phooolish african beliefs born out of ignorance and stupidity always is - but the part below was particularly very interesting as it resonates with something Billyoniare earlier stated here concerning mind control which I have been doing for years now. The lady said: " A little test you can attempt. Spend the next 24 hours thinking about a particular subject, focus with all your might, it can be something as flimsy as ice cream. Read up on it, immerse yourself in all things ice-cream, sing ice cream songs, do you know what happens? When you turn on the TV, you start to notice all the ice-creams, you start seeing ice-creams everywhere, suddenly all the magazines and newspapers are covering news about ice creams, this is what happens in reality when the mind is affixed on a given subject. Its beyond fascinating, you can give it a go. It is not any different with the concept of Witchery." Moving on, the level of hostility and ignorance spawned on this thread so far by some group is not surprising to me in any way whatsoever. Is this not Nigeria again: where people attack you for refusing to wallow in ignorance? Where everything they cannot understand is attributed to the spiritual ( notably demons and witches)? Where inferiority complex has eaten so deep into thier minds that they automatically see themselves as a bunch of dumb, never-do-wells who were created to play second fiddle to their white masters intellectually and otherwise. It is said that people fear what they do not understand but in Nigeria, they HATE and CRUCIFY what they cannot understand. It is indeed heart-warming to see an enlightened few who -unlike the overwhelming majority that litter the streets of Kano, Benin and ojuelegba e. .t. .c - are not just comfortable with continuing the endless cycle of : attending one dead university for 4-5years, get a job (for the lucky ones), marry, then fffuck and die, but have dedicated themselves to exploring the better part of this thing we call "LIFE" that goes unnoticed. Religion has deterred we humans, most espically the ignorant ones found in Africa from unravelling the many truly amazing aspects of life. "Life's like a very powerful smartphone capable of doing so much that is sadly, trapped in the hands of a biitch who only pings" Billy has been attacked for bringing nothing new to the table other than recycle the same old bullshit that's just a few Google searches away, but it's one thing to have information at your disposal, it's another to know how to accurately use it. Isn't that what differentiates Einstein from your dumb, cramming robot university lecturer. I know the so-called enlightened opposition might want to accuse me of likening him to Einstein which, as every smart person can see, was just an intended metaphor, but my point is : the guy deserves credit. The most important factor here to me that matters is that he is enlightened and has managed to drag the cob-webs of pseudo-reality off the dusty eyes of some few here, awakening their sixth sense in the process. I am also a seeker of the truth who - if not for the torture and deliberate waste of time called school - would have had more time at disposal to really seek what he finds. It's funny how people pursue money when what they should be desperately after is - FREEDOM. When freedom comes, then EVERY OTHER THING YOU CAN THINK OF, FALLS INTO PLACE. Nigerians and Africans need to really step-up. Our mindset needs to be purged from the diarrhoea of ignorance and the fear of true knowledge. Years before I ever heard of astral projection, OBE e. t. c or even owned a smartphone capable of accessing the web, i was beginning to master the act of meditation in which after I hit certain frequencies, I would LITERALLY feel the earth begin to rotate as I rotate alongside it. Nice work Billyoniare. Keep up the good work. Nigerians are confused and pissed when they see a weirdo(being weird is cool by the way) whose ideologies, aspirations and way of life neither conforms with commonly accepted societal norms nor their shallow mindset. It makes them restless and mad that somebody else is wired to not like what they like and think differently from the way they do. "How dare he be so different? How dare he be not bothered by the 'do or die' things that bother us all? How dare he be so Free?" They hate to see somebody FREE from the shackles of mental slavery and psuedo-reality. They hate FREEDOM. I see these set of people in class every ffucking day, everywhere... on every ffucking seat. |
NL and their idiotttttic journalism atimes. Though 'smoked' as used in that context might have meant 'kill', but the affected student never used the word - kill, did he? Why conclude on his behalf when one can argue that the metaphor - 'smoked' - has a barrage of meanings? Dem neva sue una @ss one day na im make body dey catch whoever edits frontpage headline titles. |
prof1999:Put it at the back of your mind that classes have officially began. Get books from people and start jacking ( if you're the I want to have a perfect gp kind of person). It will sound like a joke(it awlays does) when you start hearing words like "your exam is in three weeks time". |
richielouis7:Yes you can |
prof1999:You don't really need it for core academic activities per say, but it depends on the individual. Some people prefer reading pdf materials to lecture notes, some do research. ..e. .t. .c Some are into programming, Web design e.t.c, so at the end it depends on what you use your laptop for. Even jss3 and primary school pupils need laptops to help give their dreams a voice not to mention a 100 level student. Evaluate yourself then you'll be able to decide if you need your lappy in 100level or not. |
Unfortunately, this stupidity and corruption on the part of the school authority has no sign of withering anytime soon. I've always wondered why Uniben will allow school to fully resume before hostel application begins within the same period when students ought to have fully settled into academic activities . Why one will pay 1450 online without any guarantee of being allocated a space? Why one doesn't get allocated a space immediately after paying the money online? The worst part is: there's no refund if at the end you get nothing. You just pay the cash in blind faith. .. fffuckatrds. Corruption has eaten deep into the system, an academic institution for that matter. It shall not be well with those bastardds. May their entire miserable existence be plagued with series of unfortunate events. This hostel brouhaha has affected many badly, but does the school authority cares? Nope! Those of you saying "rent a space off campus" should chill. Not everybody applying for hostel space has financial challenges, it's just that there are benefits that come with staying inside school that even the best off-campus duplex cannot offer. |
@Tecnom3 which website were you talking about? Is it the onion? If no! pls state the site. I have mad love for sarcastic humour. |
You are a big disgrace to what a teacher ought stand for and a vivid reflection of everything wrong with our educational system. From the pic you posted, it's obvious that the student was confused, needed clarity on how to tackle the question and is eager to learn, but what did the person who is supposed to teach him/her do? He ignored his responsibility as a teacher only to come to an online forum to whine like a baby. You should have called the student and explained where he or she got it wrong. But No! Quickly taking a snapshot and rushing to post it on Nl for a few laughs from little-minded people was more important. Back to the question you asked; What is really happening to our educational system? Ans: People like you are what's happening to the system. Look in the mirror |
MyEduMata:Title of thread says "one-month" , the bolded says "one-week". Smh And why is there no direct link to punch? I just checked Punch News and saw nothing relating to this there. @Op paste the link |
fucklil:Original Jamb result (coloured copy). You guys should always try to read through the thread abeg. I listed all the documents few pages back. |
RobinHez:Lol. Kpele. Many people missed today's Ela. The kain vex wey I vex today ehn. |
RobinHez:Which useless strike? When Ela practicals dey currently go on? These fools just spoilt my strike plans. It shall not be well with them. |
chem112:The requirements are minimum gp of 2.5, the student must not be probabting and must not have transferred before. Intra-faculty transfer(from one department within the faculty to another) is normally very easy compared to Intra-faculty (people coming from other facilities). But as usual, if you have somebody in school, the transition will be seamless even if you have a gp equivalent to the refractive index of palm wine. |
Evans1111:That's what it's suppose to show because you are requesting for clearance (physical). It's is only when you've successfully completed the most important clearance - which is physical clearance - that your kofa page status changes to "cleared". |
cuulguy95:Leave it empty. It's for those who changed names. But check if birt certificate is under one of the required docs. If it's not there (which I doubt), upload it under evidence of name. |
Danosaur007:No. Use statement of result issued by your school. |
Geofavor:Yes. Birth certificates from hospitals, National population commission, Churches, affidavit of Declaration of age, are all accepted. Those from Benin Royal families can also bring birth certificates from shrines signed by the presiding chief priest with a virgin alligator's blood. Just kidding on the last one. |
Geofavor:Lectures might start on Monday or this week sef. Last year, classes start while we still dey auditorium dey clear. I resume classes only to hear lecturer dey say he dey chapter 5. Not to even mention this year wey late resumption go make uniben squeeze una into school calendar like akara trapped inside agege bread. |
SantiRAMBO:YES! It's a MUST if the original certificate for that year is out. If it's out better go get it NOW to avoid running around. |
