If I were single, I could marry a single mother.

Remember that's child/children comes before you in the marriage/relationship when taking critical decisions.

I know a married couple with such scenario, the lady ask my guy to take life insurance in both of their name and her as the beneficiary and guy did without questioning but the lady used her kids from previous relationships as beneficiary in her 401k (retirement savings) and other secret investments she has.
My guy later finds out and canceled their insurance policy later on .
