Stop applying wrong logic. Many people are influenced by what they see or hear constantly. That social media is not playing an influential roles in many homes is like one doesn't want to look at the obvious
If you say so.

Though it is not the only reasons but one of the major reasons
when we are ready to talk about the real issues as humans especially Nigerians,we will ,but for now ,let keep blaming everything else including the devil.

There are many of my school mates that we have never met since graduation that even if we meet may not recognise one another but through social media we are very close.

humans can be influenced without knowing..have you asked why small children in america go and snoop around their parents rooms and look for handguns? some of them that shot people said they were influenced by playing violent games.

it can also be movies too or music and if you constantly feed yourself with mainstream culture you will imbibe it without knowing

everyone knows fornication is a sin but people even in church have tried to make it look like a normal thing. thats woke mainstream culture for you.
okay.

I don't know what you guys have been doing, but this is a medical issue. I saw "pray " in your write up . And just want to point that out.

Also your wife's diet should be less carbs, less fried foods, less refined grains, less baked foods, more fruits, vegetables, cabbage, she should be on b-complex and folic acid. These are the things you should be spending time researching on instead of wasting energy praying.

I agree to some extent. Take for instance a married man who happens to find an old school girl friend on the net, as a result of constant interaction, the old lust may be ignited.
And if he met her in real life ,would the old lust not still be ignited? . Social media just made it easy for humans to convey their innate character and subconscious traits without the eyes of the world on them. The internet provided a perfect "behind the curtain" scene of humans. And now we want to blame the internet for it undecided

madam omotara...however you want to twist it...social media can still influence some people into accepting foolish ideologies..and women are especially easily influenced by trending things.. e.g some girls who never fancied leg chains can begin to wear such just because shes seeing a lot of her friends do it.
So I guess , going by your logic, people can also be influenced to become serial killers.

I think it promotes and also exposes it.
The internet is garbage in, garbage out. It's what you go looking for that you will find thanks to "the algorithm".
The internet made it easy for alot of things ,both good and bad. So whatever people choose to do on the internet is what they are.

Influence on social media
or maybe social media just exposed it.The word "influence" seems to take the responsibility off individuals. It's like saying "blame it on the alcohol".

Shameless Oyibo slaves, emancipate yourself from mental slavery, black woman know yourself.
Is Africa really free?
Are we independent like we claim to be?
Why is Africa the way it is?
Are our own people and leaders complacent in the woes of Africa? .
These are the real questions we should be asking.
Career / Re: Man Leaves High Paying Job To Follow His Passion. Wife-to-be "Unfollows" Him by LadyTara(f): 3:19pm On Jul 05, 2023
Follow your passion is all balderdash if you can't convert that passion into money.

Some "passion" are meant to be hobbies,I hope it's not the case here, else ,it's will be a case of going on a wild goose chase for him.

So long as he can provide for them. The only problem I have is when men who know they are not monogamous, pretend to be and go behind having side chics and gifting STDs like give away.

All parties in this kind of marriage arrangement already know the terms and conditions. And that's what marriage should be about, laying the terms and conditions on the table before taking the step.

Food / Re: Consumers, Traders Lament As Tomato, Pepper Scarcity Hits Markets by LadyTara(f): 6:26pm On Jul 01, 2023
With bad governance, the only beneficiaries are the elites, as policies will be made to favour them first, everyone else looses. Hence its foolishness to vote a candidate you know is incapable just to pepper your neighbor. When the sky falls it will fall on everyone.

Anyway, vegetables stew is healthy, try it ,crayfish and bonga fish are healthy too. This is just baby steps of pain.

Philip Agbese is a UK returnee. These people would rather Nigerians line up at their gate with plates begging for food so they can walk by and be hailed. They want to keep Nigerians in poverty and misery.

If it's not witchcraft, why will someone who made his breakthrough in the UK return and the first he doesn't as a rep is to move to stop people from leaving the country to fin their own breakthrough. He has gotten to the top and wants to push the ladder away. Broad daylight witchcraft.

When the foolish christian god told his pastors that Obituary would win, did you know how to feel when the prophecy of your stupid christian god failed?
Religion including traditional religion is nothing but a fallacy.

Religion is something humans allocated to themselves to make themselves feel that some higher being has interest in their affairs. There is no God or gods somewhere interested in the affairs of humans.

Crime / Re: Pregnant Lady Dies Few Months After Pastor Persuaded Her To Remain In ‘abusive’ by LadyTara(f): 10:22am On Apr 22, 2023
Cases like this breaks my heart so much, because I know the manipulation and emotional blackmail that was used on the victim, having experienced religious blackmail for refusing to step into any church for some years now,It will be a continuous warfare to free people especially Nigerians from the shackles of organised religion run by a mafia backed by government.
The government especially in Nigeria has recognized that religion is a major form of control hence government sponsors pilgrimages to encourage religion.
The day Nigerians realize they can think for themselves without needing the guidance of another human or book, that day will be the dawning of a new day.

All these won't get you a job in programming. You would have to learn CSS frameworks like bootstrap, JavaScript frameworks like node.js, vue.js, react.js and angular.js these are what is needed to build a modern websites or app.
alright, thanks, noted.

No deposit of any form going on at CBN.... I av been there since 8 am.

They said without the code.......no deposit.
You are supposed to go there with your printout and valid means of identification else they won't attend to you.The printout contains the reference code.

Its CBN site then. I doubt you can fill it at the bank though, give update on how it went at the bank.
