tech4dev,its for women across Africa.

All these won't get you a job in programming. You would have to learn CSS frameworks like bootstrap, JavaScript frameworks like node.js, vue.js, react.js and angular.js these are what is needed to build a modern websites or app.
so I followed your advice, learnt html ,css and javascript ,built a couple of projects inclding my protfolio with it.Currently learning react already building a project with react and express js for the backend

What's the effect of condemning on social media when you are not actively involved in the solution process?
Must one be in power before one can effect change?
If you want to know the answer to that question, go and get asphalt to tar your street ,then you will know if you have to be in power to effect change or not.

Any significant change by an individual outnumbered by saboteurs will only be futile. Know this and know peace. There are so many people who are willing to stick their neck out for the growth and stability of this country, but at what cost? And to what end? .

The system is by default designed to only allow people who are Willing to dine with the devil get to sensitive positions where significant change can be made, then you wonder if its all worth it when even the victims seem to love their chains and worship their chain masters.

In the end they (the poor) will have nothing and will be happy, asking for the bare minimum will be asking for too much, they will persevere in the face of hunger and injustice, they will be patient while their resources is stolen and squandered, they will be content and have "hope" a perfect succor for their misery.
Romance / Re: Nairalanders Share Experience About Online Dating by LadyTara(f): 8:51am On Sep 20, 2023
Online dating has it cons and pros and I have seen both.
The short attention span: the illusion that there are many fishes in the sea due to how easy it us to meet people in any corner of the earth, just when you start vibing ,they decide to start swimming the ocean in search of another fish.
The alter persona: with social media making it easy to be anything, it has become easy for people to be what you want them to be. Especially with people giving out so much about their life on social media, it becomes easy for predators to read your life and tailor their personal to what you want.
The genuine but casual: it's now easy for guys who don't want commitment to take to social media as an escape from having a serious relationship. When its getting serious, they ghost and move to the next victim.
The real: met my ex on social media, we would have been married if not for tribal differences.

Exactly why I said they need training on how to work well together cos it's not enough to have separate units that just stand there without knowing how to corporate to help people.

We elect politicians without thinking a lot of things. If Nigerians rally round and tell our leaders that good security is non negotiable, our problem would be half solved.
In those same Nigerians you will find another set of Nigerians who will stop others from demanding accountability from politicians because they were given 1k.

The days are evil, the night especially so..
I guess you were blind to see it was past 5pm. Hence the reason I said anyone can be a victim.
People like you need first hand experience to have a reality check, its easy to give unsolicited advice until it comes to your doorstep even after taking every precaution .

Sorry for that experience. I've suffered from something similar and I'm a guy. I just believe we need to be more proactive as a people. We always react when issues like this happen and vote for idiots who'll never do anything to protect their people but their own pockets.

Emergency hotline numbers should be made and broadcasted to everyone in the nation. Some states already have it but people don't even know of their existence, massive awareness campaign on money rituals and how it can't cause wealth, CCTV, pepper spray for person protection.

It's not enough to have all these. The different organisations in charge need to learn how to work with each other to get speedy result.

I always think about the girl that died in the BRT bus last year. She knew she was in trouble but didn't even know to call an emergency number for help.

We sit and react to thing's topics and fail to plan in case such an event occurs in the future.
How many times have emergency services come through in this country. Even in active robbery thee police fail to show up. Its scary.

Anyone can be a victim, you can be coming from work and enter a one chance vehicle like I did last week,l was robbed of my phone, cash on me luckily I didn't have my ATM on me, quickly rushes home to take my nin to retrieve my number. This was past 5 pm o ,not at night,I was scared,if it was worse than that,I guess public opinion would have said I was dating or was in contact with a yahoo boy when I have never even dated one and will never date one.

Since I started reducing beer intake which used to be everyday. I started getting obsessed with hollandia yoghurt.

Like every hours I rush to fridges to get a drink. End up drinking like two 1L everyday that's if I don't go anywhere.

Does dairy yoghurt has nicotine?
You are probably hooked on the artificial sweeteners which can be addictive. By the way there is nothing healthy about hollandia yoghurt, from the ingredients to the packaging. It's all part of the scam in the food industry.

Any food made in the factory has 99% likely been stripped of it's natural ingredients .

Stay on the topic. I try not to insult people online, you should try it. Quinn was born a woman and NEVER transitioned. ‘Out trans’ simply means coming out as transgender. Non binary on the other hand means neither male or female (often referred to as they/thems). So like I said earlier, no doping was involved. To be rude does not mean you are right.
never transitioned but a trans and non-binary.if she was born a woman, wouldn't coming out as trans make her a man? Or chair or eagle or whatever other thing they have out there, doesn't that technically disqualify her from participating in "women's" football since technically she is no longer a woman but trans and whatever nonsense she feels like identifing as? grin grin grin. Woke madness.

I know moles like you are out to spread the virus of wokeness, again I am not surprised,so many are now willfull tools to promote stupidity and insanity as the norm.

It's this "I don't want to be rude" that has brought the madness happening in the west where they let insane people who should be institutionalised roam free. Just bask in your ignorance and stop trying to rope others in your delusions.

There’s no doping involved. Just a woman identifying as whatever for attention sake.
I admire your boldness at being ignorant, not that I am surprised tho. But maybe you should pay more attention to what testosterone (which is a steroid by the way) does then check the meaning and rules of doping in sports before basking in the glory of your ignorance.

This is doping on testosterone giving her an advantage over other females.

I hope fifa is ready for the aftermath of the backdoor cheating they created?.

Very true but as you know mothers instill beliefs in their gullible kids as well and when they grow it becomes the reality for them. Most men who like the status quo tend to make a living from it.
nah,men have fought wars ,if they wanted to stop religious brain washing of their kids ,it won't be rocket science.

But hey let's all blame the woman as usual, after all either way, it's a woman's fault that we have religious fantastics and extremists.

It is mostly shared by women who brainwash children from infancy and by adulthood it is fully formed in the psyche. If you care to check you find out that women gravitate towards so called men of God, Mallams, spiritualists etc than their male counterparts.
If you want to educate a country, educate a woman, isn't that what they say?. Even with my view,I know a lot of men who have cut communication with me. I guess the men like the status quo as well.

How educated and people who are so called "enlightened" do fall for the scam that is religion is beyond me. I just randomly watched this video on YouTube this morning and cannot discern anything offensive in it but our politicians and religious bigots have a new show in town.
Its very intriguing to watch these people be strung like a puppet to reason and act a certain way. I actually am interested in knowing how religion became a wide spread successful model of manipulation and control. It needs to be studied.

I want to know ,how does one recognize the wrath of your allah? Does it come like a fierce fire from up or down below, like a tornado or lightening. Let us know so that when it comes when can recognize it.

The mind control of religion needs to be studied,it's amazing how a human can made to think and behave a certain way, even to the detriment of his own existence just by making him believe a fictitious being who is so idle that he is so interested in the affairs of billions of humans.

This fictitious being, sometimes punishes and sometimes shows love depending on his mood. Wow.

It's just amazing, psychologists need to study religion,it's the most successful model for control and manipulation.

One thing with bad governance, only the elite wins everyone else looses as laws will be made to favour the elites before everyone else.

The people who voted for bad governance because it's benefits them and their family ,will have no where to hide when those who the government didn't favor come for them. Expect crime rate to triple. Robbery and break-ins are steadily increasing. The so called "comfortable middle class" are going to be the biggest victims.

Bad governance be like rain, e go touch everybody.

I don't know how to feel about this. Is this aiding the silent sponsors of terrorism to set up shop or is this for the greater good ? Only time will tell ,while the average Nigerian caught up in this massacre continue to pay with their blood.

Why do you need to remind me? Why?? Do you think I am not aware the reality of womanhood not just in our society but the world at large?? Why do you feel the need to take it upon yourself to remind me? See, if your conscience is troubling you at your life's choices, take it to God and stop projecting your insecurities and guilty conscience at strangers on the Internet.

Consider this my last response to you because I am done with this conversation.
conscience? Lol In terms of age,I might even be older than you,so I am not one of "those children" . I am glad you are aware this is the internet. Its free for all, even worse nairaland undecided

I just see women like you who think they are better than others, quick to deflect from the real issues and play moral police while hiding behind their facade and can't help my self grin.

And let me remind you that "life's choices" are in our control,so no need giving that responsibility to the supernatural, it's a choice for a reason. Ever heard of free will? undecided. It's those ones beyond human control that should be taken up with the supernatural.

Women like you think you are better than the next, the "I don't have female friends gang". Let me remind you that even that bf or husband can end up being your demise, your so called "virtuous" status won't count.

Nigeria no get femenist, we only have rejected bitter women, imagine calling urself femenist and u can't do without the precious d**k. Just look at our female actress many of them want to marry but no way, everybody just they chop them they clean mouth.
Marriage sweet when running with the right partner.
Sha i like this ur writeup, it is well.
The ones in Nigeria are fighting the wrong battle. There are still children who are pushed into marriage instead of school. There is systemic sexual harassment in corporate Nigeria that needs serious attention, there is a gap in women in so many field,so cultures still subject widows to maltreatment and deny female children inheritance, these are the issues, but no they are busy dragging who should do chores etc.

Romance / Modern Day Feminism Is Like Scoring An Own Goal. by LadyTara(f): 11:56am On Jul 17, 2023
In my personal opinion, modern day feminism is women shooting themselves in the foot.
God that made men and women unmistakenly different, did so for a reason. Biologically it has been proven over and over again thant men and women are not the same. Why then would I want to be equal to a man?
You as a woman ,you are trying to access your masculine energy just so you can measure up to a man, but let me ask this, can you be more manly than a man?, You are leaving your energy to go play on their turf. can't you see you are disadvantaged already?
Can you see you already started with the odds stacked against you already, why not find more ways to tap into your feminine energy and use it to your advantage?
It's bad enough that we already loose nutrients every cycle, but me I don't have the strength to compete with any man. Infact lead the house let me carry my handbag and follow behind.
