Consumer protections act. No situation can be worse than what we are facing now, if you and them like, close down your business, it won't affect Nigeria.

And you think those exploiting the citizen are this people, that at least makes an investment compared to those who use their influence and position to simply steal.money that can't spend in a life time. Zero investment other than being a politician and political appoirntment

Price display crime. How can any big supermarket keep up with updating price with a galloping inflation, having such large sales inventory. Who will pay the cost of such resource required for the update.

Take for example cement, within just over two weeks, cement has moved from #5,500 to 5,700 tob7000 to 7400 to 8000 to 8500 to 9000 and now 10,000. Tell me, how can a supermarket with such large inventory size keep up with retagging the whole shop item, more likely the proce will change as they are on it.. Besides you get the receipt that has the prices and you can choose not to pay.

Why don't the govt stabilise fx rate, curb security situation that limits farming activity etc. Why didn't they model the impact of these and prepare for it before removing subsidy and floating exchange fate in the mist of unable economy and insecurity.

What were they really thinking. A case of shooting before you look and blaming the bullet.

4. N25k social safety net to be shared to 15 million households

5. What about the N75 billion earmarked for the strengthening of the manufacturing sector so as to increase its capacity to expand and create good-paying jobs between July 2023 and March 2024?

6. What about the N1 trillion saved from fuel subsidy removal, which was to be reinvested into the education sector and loans?

Thank you for documenting abd tracking these promises. Hope we should all take this approach to dealing elected oficial on political, economic and social issues and promises.

Reminding them of their promises and making them accountable..

Lets keep it this way.

The problem actually is not the Northerners but the hateful Southern tribes wishing the current administration bad. If they like let them scream "didn't we warn you" from now till 2027, it won't make their fake messiah president. Our people should start looking inwards, clean up Lagos and make the State fit for Capital incase of any incasity.

At least they are not so hateful to believe that anyone or anything other than them should be the president of Nigeria. They ha e supported other tribe in the political space other than them. Nigerians used to say they are not politically developed. They don't love themselves. They love money etc. Yet this set of people have not held controlling power in government and are rarely in the list of folks who have stolen the wealth of the country dry. The only time they loved themselves and became political aware, the worst of the pack was selected nstead of the best of the pack. And now call them hateful, for speaking out and supporting their owe for the first time.....haba. Really why the hate. huh

Is anything as hateful as the heartless killing that have persisted in the noth and North central

I appears that people who shout more about a thing might be more guilty of it.

So what happened to DPR now NUPRC that was relocated to Abuja despite having a bit office in Lagos.

What happened to NIUMS previously NAPIMS, the lucrative NNPC division that manages oil and gas investment with operators of oil and gas companies under the PSC agreement. This was relocated to a rented apartment despite ha ING an office in Gerald Road, Ikoyi lagos

And the list goes on. However, if the government were setting an example of fairless these agencies of the petroleum ministry should be in the Niger delta.

Hypocrisy. I guess they knew it was wrong but they loved it and kept quiet why BUhari relocated Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and paid tonnes of money in relocation allowance despite the department having a huge office in Koffi Abayomi Street in Lagos.

They also kept quiet and loving it when again, Buhari relocated from Gerald Street Ikoyi, Lagos, National petroleum investment managemnt services NAPIMS to Bronu House Abuja into a rented facility owned by Bronu state government . Half of Napims now NIUMS is in Abuja. And again paid millions of money in reallocation allowance.

These are institutions that control and regulate the operations and investment of our petroleum resources.

Per the Nigerian content act, these institutions are supposed to be located in the Niger Delta??

How about the mining regulation of solid minerals. While the regulation favors private enterprise control of the solid mineral, oil and gas is state owned and controlled. Different laws for natural resources fkr different people driven by where they are located.

You can ALWAYS count on black people to be especially DUMB. It doesn't matter how wealthy or famous they get.

Imagine establishing an Igbo Language learning school IN Lagos. A language that kids probably ONLY speak at home where they'd already learn it anyway.

It's an EXTREMELY dumb initiative.

Kids don't need to learn a language that is NOT the official language of any country. A language that's spoken by only about 40/50 million people.

Rather, a talent scouting agency or coding school or even trade school would have been a better project.

If you do not promote your language values and culture, they disappear.

BTW, you cannot educate a man on how to spend his wealth. You can make yours and spend it any how you choose, afterall wealthy folks like the CEO of apple sponsor gay movements with tonnes of dollars.

How is this different from a military rule. Things are deteriorating. Poor judgements by the court, lawer defending a lie and facilitating miscarriage of justics, NLC leader beaten and now this.

This is the danger when we support events and actions simply on the basis of our political, tribal or religious affiliation and not based on what is right and fair. Everyone is loosing it.

Some gas station in Huston, US sell for $2.3 per gallon. A gallon is approximately 4 liters. In nigeria gas sells for 650 to 700 naira depending on where you live. This is about N2,600 to N2,800 per gallon, adjusted pump meters not withstanding. @ 900 official rate per $, a gallon cost approximately $3 in Nigeria. So we can't say conclusively, that fuel is cheaper in Nigeria today compared to this location.

Comparing gas prices alone is misleading without comparing other elements:

What is our ranking with free quality education, where kids are fed quality meals twice a day and books provided.

What is the ranking for mortgage and housing system where you can pay 3% down-payment on the house value and pay the rest for 30 years at 3 to 4% compounded interest.

What is the ranking for good, efficient public transport system. I don't need to own a car or buy gas.

What is the ranking for quality health care system. NHs. I don't need to spend money on health.

What is the ranking on tax return? Where a decent percentage of the tax I pay is returned back to me and not chopped by politicians

What's the ranking in good, solid road network and infrastructures making it possible to get to the destination quickly with little or no impact on the car, fuel consumption and

What is the ranking on social security where the jobless, old and indigent or challenged people get paid a stipend monthly or biweekly to help them get buy and ease burden on friends and families

What is the ranking for unemployment rate and government wastage and recklessness??

What is the ranking on minimum wage. $15 per hour compared to $30k per month. At black market rate, an hours work is more than half a month salary.

And I can go on...............Put this in place, then you can take the fuel price any where you choose.

This is a testament to the seriously diminished power and influence of the United States on global politics on this Palestinian-Israel war.

Even the E.U , Canada and UK didn't vote against the resolution. China, Russia, Jordan, Iran, Pakistan, the Arab League, Turkiye, Ireland, South Africa and Nigeria tried too. It was a momentous event that the world stood together significantly for the Palestinian people.

Sincerely, Humanity won. Over 3000 Palestinian children killed yet Hamas keeps fighting and firing rockets into Israel, giving credence to the report that Israel is actually killing mostly civilians and children.

If Isreal,with all its military power and backing of US and UK , has been fighting a small group of Hamas fighters for weeks now yet the death toll of children and civilians in Gaza keep mounting and Hamas Rockets firings into Israel have not stopped, so who is Isreal deceiving? Who is Isreal been killing for the past few weeks of bombing Gaza? Hamas still fired a lot of rockets into Southern Israel few hours ago!

If after this resolution, Isreal continues the bombing, there will be very serious and severe consequences against Israel. I pray it doesn't get to that. Check my signature for free stuffs!

When nations decline or absent its a show they don't want to oppose their biggest ally or a management technique to control the optics. Key European countries stayed absent. They will always back the US position though not publicly. UK, Germany, Italy, Japan, India, Canada....so most member of the the most power countries in the world G8 either went against the proposal or stayed absent. Its tough to justify Hamas attacks by condemning isrreals bombardment.

Ordinarily they shouldn't but I learnt they made a distant 4th candidate, governor in imo state. If true, it might mean that judgment in Nigerian courts is quite elastic.

Diesel that regular guys in the Niger delta refined freely. Good quality diesel that was sold in gas stations. Rxported to neighbouring countries and powered generators, trucks, heavy duty equipment and marine vessels without issues. Providing employment through its operations and supply chain.

The government shut them down instead of encouraging them and helping them grow the refining capacity and the industry. They created way for old cartel. All the excuses of theft and pollution, when you could legitimise it and use the subsidy money to grow this industry that guarantees diesel and kerosene supply to people

. They don't know about the industrial revolution and how great countries of today grew. They did the way the refining capacity of the Niger delta boys was growing before they were shut it down to create opportunity for the cartel.....
