In short taking the voters for a ride! PaulIdu: |
So you are still wailing by 1.am dunkem21: |
Ok these are the relevant section of the law that supports their arrest 1. the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (2015) section 12 92) and 13 give a law enforcement officer the power to break into and out of any house to arrest a suspect who fails to let the arresting officer in. 2. Section 43 (1) ACJA states : a warrant of arrest may be executed on any day including sunday or public holiday. 1. Montaque: |
1. No it is not for selfish interest. Even if it is for selfish interest, in as much as the judges arrested are guilty as charged, we should be happy! 2. They are not the only corrupt judges. Just like Ironsi the popular armed robber is not the only armed robber. Neither was anini the only one of his time. Yet they are armed rubbers. The ones that are caught today must be jailed. The Law knows that all criminal will not be caught but those that are caught must be made to face the music. ojtech8291: |
Falana on Point. FBI used to do this type of bombardment, They have bombarded house of a sitting governor in USA and that of several judges in the past like this before on corruption charges. And since USA is our role model, DSS are just taking after FBI. And don't even mention the issue of the doors that were broken down; Those judges have only added another offence to their list of offences by even resisting arrest and hindering an officer from doing his legitimate duty! The judges don't have immunity under our law and can be arrested any time. Once there is reasonable suspicion of an alleged crime by the law enforcement agents. That the DSS even bother to get search and arrest warrant before the operation is not required. They have only done that to preempt the wailers. |
May you never know peace if Jega is not guilty of your accusation. May all those who have had a hand in destroying Nigeria and their supporters never know peace! Amen, Can I hear a resounding Amen from your end! Abacha did wrong to the same set of people on June 12 and God intervened eventually! But know that it took six years before the intervention! emmasege: |
What nonsense posting is this. This girl was running her own business even before her dad became president! And what on earth is this poverty mentality of our young people this days. My daughter's earing is worth more than 360 pounds (although bought when dollar was cheaper) and you are shouting because of the President's daughter wearing that. In fact that is moderation. That she even wears earing worth only 360 pounds means she is very much a moderate person. That is less than 10gm of gold at the prevailing Dubai gold price rate of $50/gm. Not a single politician's wife or daughter will even use such cheap earing in Nigeria of today!. You may want to check it out! |
OOO Which kain name be this na? Where in Nija dem dey bear this kain name, Abeg, I need to know oo. Over to you the Name Checkers association of Boudillon, Ikoyi chapter! |
And the Rivers, Akwa Ibom and delta state governorship election case reinforced the disgrace in the judiciary! this were the cases that became precedence to the Kogi case. For your info, INEC is now a demi god by the pronouncement of the supreme court in those cases. afla: |
Unfortunately, the supreme court decision on Rivers and Akwa ibom will mean that APC will win at the EDO tribunal.! Based on the the supreme court decisions, INEC is almost superhuman and use of PVC can not be used to invalidate elections again. Only forensic evidence like happened in Osun election petitions against Oyinlola can help a little if it becomes insurmountable. At best PDP will get rerun in a few locations and with a difference of over 6ok votes, that is like getting a camel through the eye of a needle!. The supreme court have invariably validate rigging by any government in power. PDP was the first benefactor of it, but they will lose more from it. APC just need to be writing results now and that will be all required to win elections, until the National assembly changes the Electoral act to institutionalize INEC and accept electronic system of voting.! |
Abegiiii! Do the needful! Go to court and stop ranting! |
This is good. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY |
Happy birthday to my dear country.! i pray that may the almighty grant our leaders the wisdom to pilot this country successfully. I pray for enduring peace and harmony. I pray for economic recovery in short time. I then pray that, all those who does not want this country to recover from this recession, may they not be alive to see it!. those that wants violence to reign in this country, may the peace of this country happen behind them! And to those who are shouting break, break, I implore them to go look on google for Niue a country of 1600 people yet it has political parties and government structures. How many Niue can we get from Nigeria! JackieMay: |
Is it not stupidity to spend money on data while hungry! Nellybank: |
Picture or i don't believe this! |

Good to hear this |
Sell it! I have said it, government is not an efficient business entity. every developed economy has the private sector leading in business not government. That is why a Yoruba man led company owns many Airport in Britain including Gatwick, that is why the biggest ports in US are run by Dubai Ports which is a business entity!. FGN need to either sell off its stake in this ventures and continue to collect all its taxes and royalties. As it is now, the profit (excluding taxes and royalties) from the ventures is lower than the cost of funding them for the government, due to the double cost being paid by the government in running its inefficient NNPC and financing the ventures. FGN has not made profit from the Refineries in decades and yet it has continued to allocate huge sum of money to them yearly. These entities (JVs and refineries) are not assets to the FGN they are Liabilities that needs to be disposed of.! |
Chipapii is the name of the Dog the king gave as a present to the Alake on this voyage.! |
My Friend I am a member of PENGASSAN and certainly this executive is not speaking on behalf of all. surely not on my behalf. The JV company workers wants FGN to sell off its stakes. The FGN has not been funding the JVs because of paucity of fund. And if the shares are sold, New investor will have to fulfill its obligations as regarding funding the operation of the JVs. Currently, the FGN through NNPC is owing the JV operators more than $5bln and it is increasing daily. Meanwhile, they continue to collect their own income from the operation and then turn around to complain of low budget from the federation. And as for the refinery, they are not working anyway!. those refineries are junk and sink holes. FGN spends hundreds of millions of dollars annually to do useless Turnaround on each one annually but yet they all operate at less than 50% capacity. some people are just eating fat on the allocated money annually.! Abeg they should be sold! Fuel is imported for our consumption and will continue unless these refineries are sold. Many of this PENGASSAN officials are beneficiaries of the ineffective refineries and will not want them sold. If sold, federal Government will still continue to make the bulk of its money from the oil sector as 95% of its oil income is from Taxes and royalties which will continue even after selling its shares. However, NLNG should not be sold as it is still and efficient company that brings in dividend to FGN without requiring allocations as it runs as a standalone company not as a parastatals like NNPC. FGN should work to make all the JVs into an Incorporated JV like NLNG to make them independent of the Federal Government bureaucracies. vascey: |
E be like say this vanguard people don craze oo. Nigerian Army said two soldiers died, they added zero behind to make 20. Which kain journalist of doom be this idiots.! |
Sell it! Exactly what is required Now to get huge dollars to bail out the country. Many of these assets are holes in the pocket of the federal government through which money is being siphoned!. Huge sums are budgeted every year for turn around maintenance of the refineries, but yet they never work, money is just shared. The single airport (MMA2) ran by concessionaire is clearly more efficient than the one, ran by government with power outage daily.! Government is not able to finance the JV companies as they should and surely needs to reduce its cost exposure as bulk of the FGN revenue from the Oil sector is tax anyway. And selling its stake in the companies will have only little effect on its revenue. this because bulk of its budget for JV operations goes into funding corruptions and inefficiencies in the machineries of government. The only one that should really not be sold is the NLNG. This is currently run as and by private sector. It is an incorporated JV and government is a share holder that gets lots of dividend from it. Government revenue from NLNG is from the declared profit as opposed to tax in the upstream companies. |
JAZAKUM LAH KHAERAN. THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY TO HANDLE ISSUES LIKE THIS. wITH EVIDENCE. lexiconkabir: |

You wish! CSTR2: |
I guess you were still in shock of losing the election and busy wailing when the N-Power advert came out!. ChangetheChange: |
NA Lie be this News oo. I live in Port Harcourt and fuel is between 142 and 145 naira here. And in Ibadan where I just arrived from fuel is 140 to 145 naira as well. Surely this is from the figment of the imagination of the arm chair journalist that wrote this report. |
So why the noise when Arabs kill Arabs. Just like you think Europe kills Europe during first and second world war (which is wrong history anyway). The genocide of Bosnian Muslims was by Christians, the Anti balaka, the Lord rebels and the greatest of them all the CRUSADES were all Christian based wars by Christian terrorists.! nnokwa042: |
If CAN had stuck to Christianity without picking on the poor Northern Muslims visited by Kerry, this would not have been. You have just displayed the same symptom he was referring to, you want CAN to talk but not the Muslims to reply! What an hypocrite you are!!!! DeRay98: |
So CAN is now the mouth piece of southerners. Tribalistic religious mofos.! Kaycee7: |
