The impala took off at the right time. Hyenas feed on carcass as well. |

I do that almost every day. On Call of Duty |
Another Buhari loading... they're all the same. Split the same blood in the same mud. |
I addition to the points above, some observations I note 1. If the engine/gear has been worked on or is bad, if the engine is too spick and span, if screws show some wear. It's a deal-breaker and I'll have to confirm the cost of a new one plus labor and deduct from the asking price. Oh, check for the engine seats too, those things can be annoying but are cheap fixes anyway. 2. A common problem on Nigerian used cars is the shocks. They are always bad but when it is past the shocks to the ball joints and control arm. Red flag! It can cost you more than you assume. Besides, I hate squeaky cars. 3. Interior: A quick deal-breaker for me. You see, fixing a car interior perfectly is next to the last thing you can do perfectly. Forget all the refurbishing you see online, nothing compares to the factory fitted leather or upholstery. Cracked dashboard, split chair leather, torn floor carpet. Bye-bye 4. Rust: Quick turn around. When the rust has started poking holes in a car's bodywork, it's approaching irredeemable. Get ready for a car that pours whenever it rains ![]() 5. Electricals. I don't know but for me that one aspect of science that confuses me a lot. When I see cut and join or black tape everywhere, or a noisy radiator fan, I ask questions. If I don't get a satisfactory answer. Hmm. You know the rest. 6. Leaks: FInd out the spot where the car was parked and check for leakages. You also need to determine the kind of fluid seeping through. Transmission fluid, engine oil, radiator coolant etc 7. Chassis: Open up the floorboard in the trunk and check for 'wrinkles' in the body shell. Check the chassis in front of the radiator as well. a friend once used his car to tow another car and along the way, his car literally detached between the rear seats and the boot. 8. Tyres: They can be worn no problem, but check for thread wear, is it worn on one side, along the middle, both edges? They all mean different things. A car with a bad axle is bad news. 9. Of course do your research about the specific car you want to buy before an inspection and most importantly, check vehicle papers. May we not buy stolen property ![]() |
...and Don Jazzy his boss couldn't buy a 2.5m car for someone else. I smell lies somewhere |
Good writeup. Racing sports are quite expensive and it's not like you'll be making your money back anytime you race/drift. Besides it takes a lot of practice to perfect the art and a lot of money to run through worn tyres, brakes and other car parts. Side note: I thought the handbrakes were fo holding down the front wheels so the rear ones can squeal as they go into oversteer. |
myhero:Steering pump shouldn't make noise like that. It's the rack. Is the Steering wheel getting had to turn and is it leaking oil? I don't know the cost but for a Toyota RAV4 I was given 25k. |
Really disheartening. Just picture this; we have a neighboring country ruled by a dictator like Gadaffi or Idi Amin who is bent on world domination. How can we stand when we're grappling with a single terrorist organization for over 10 years. We've lost it on all fronts and are hanging on mere life support. |
HeavenlyBang:Heck he hasn't even stated what he's looking for. He's just cherry picking engines and stating their disadvantages. If he's confused, he should install an M102 or something. I was half expecting some restoration project thats done and dusted |
Dot lose this car. 350k won't get you another car in the same condition or above. Try fix it except you have another car |
318 performance car ![]() I laugh in spanish |
Nigerian pictures please and location |
It's business. The design stock is limited. Many of the shoppers are buying out for resale at 200% margins. |
Lmao ![]() |
autosueno:Lol, and it won't involve haulage costs from some obscure market in Lagos? Or parts are meant to be shipped from only one seller or an authorized dealer? Let's not lie to ourselves please. Even common ford fusion sef, to source wheel disc alone na die. #38,000 from Ladipo not even coscharis. You are now talking of a Buick. |
@yazz09 @Neduzze5 Pls I need advice on starting a pen made of tyres. I intend to start small. I've got a few big 18" tyres to use. I've learned I need to stack 3 tyres on each other but where do I put the soil, only on the bottom or inside all tyres? Where do I put the mosquito net? Second tyre or on top? How do I prevent crawling insects from invading? I learned I can use old engine oil but I can't dig a trench around the base of the tyre as it will contaminate the soil. Apart from wetting the snails frequently in dry season, any other tips as I intend to start my trial now before the full rains commence. I'll appreciate your input. Thanks |
Ogbunigwe2018: You'll do serious legwork to find a clean Nigerian used car. Double that for a clean BMW.Tbh, this car is clean from the pictures...and e39s are getting scarce as well. Maybe when Baba opens border we can have access to cleaner ones, M5s perhaps. Mrtesso what's your location, I'll like an inspection but I can guess your price and it's not friendly. |
HeavenlyBang:Congratulations. Did you ever tinker with the G35? You talked about disabling the AWD and stuff back then. I hear cold air intake and muffler delete all the time. Why don't cartalkers talk of cosmetic modifications? Spacers, fender rolls, slamming .Perfomance wise lets hear about remapping the ECU or throwing in a supercharger. Personally, I'll have preferred the Acura TL. The Merc looks tame and trust me your boy racing days are far from over. |
Annoying thing is AJ won't aim for a knockout, he'll strategize more on technical points. I hope it's an interesting bout nonetheless. |
3.4m for an '11 Camry because you 'Teslarized' it? ![]() |
God bless you Reinapbunny. I watched with dismay as some ignorant troll tried to bully you all year long. It just goes to show how deep seated hatred is among Nigerians and africans in general. Just because he can't have the dog, he'd rather give him a bad name...and the fact that many nairalanders abuse the 'scam' title explains why tighter rules have to be exercised on this forum. False accusations and fake information peddlers should be punished with lengthy bans. And last, I've learned that Nigerian dog owners who care for their pets out of genuine love are really few. The majority are all about indiscriminate breeding for monetary gains or turning family dogs into monsters through severe and chronic abuse. All the best. Sombra is where he should be now. |
Haroldjunior:I don't think it's a lhasa. Looks like an ekuke terrier. It's bigger than a lhasa and lhasa has fur covering up the eyes |
Can't believe there's such rich content here and there's not even 1 comment. |
I hope its not for protection as this dog is scared to pieces already |

I'm surprised no one mentioned the Mercedes C300. I think that should be number 1. It replaced the Camry muscle. |
How can this be 2010? |
A typical Covid-19 test is painful but this right here is plain wickedness. |
