dSolution?:Your reasoning is unreasonable. Where in the modern world do people use Christianity to carry out evil plans? What does an attack on the eve of Christmas means? This is a state that is dominantly christian. I hate to say this, but you sure sound that you have a problem, |
Question: "What does the Bible say about dating / courting?" Answer: Although the words “courtship” and “dating” are not found in the Bible, we are given some principles that Christians are to go by during the time before marriage. The first is that we must separate from the world's view on dating because God's way contradicts the world's (2 Peter 2:20). While the world’s view may be to date around as much as we want, the important thing is to discover the character of a person before making any commitment to him or her. We should find out if the person has been born again in the Spirit of Christ (John 3:3- and if he or she shares the same desire toward Christ-likeness (Philippians 2:5). The ultimate goal of dating or courting is finding a life partner. The Bible tells us that, as Christians, we should not marry an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14-15) because this would weaken our relationship with Christ and compromise our morals and standards. When one is in a committed relationship, whether dating or courting, it is important to remember to love the Lord above all else (Matthew 10:37). To say or believe that another person is “everything” or the most important thing in one’s life is idolatry, which is sin (Galatians 5:20; Colossians 3:5). Also, we are not to defile our bodies by having premarital sex (1 Corinthians 6:9, 13; 2 Timothy 2:22). Sexual immorality is a sin not only against God but against our own bodies (1 Corinthians 6:18). It is important to love and honor others as we love ourselves (Romans 12:9-10), and this is certainly true for a courtship or dating relationship. Whether dating or courting, following these biblical principles is the best way to have a secure foundation for a marriage. It is one of the most important decisions we will ever make, because when two people marry, they cleave to one another and become one flesh in a relationship which God intended to be permanent and unbreakable (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5). |
Enough is Enough abeg! Enough of the nonsense talking and inquiries! ![]() The lead kidnapper in Abia or wherever was taken down when needed The Plateau State Govt should do something and stop all these unnecessary inquiries. If the army/police cannot do anything, set-up vigilante groups in every street! Can this ever happen in any muslim-dominated state? Innocent and helpless souls cant just be dying anyhow! ![]() May every bomber, their cohorts and their leaders receive the heaviest punishment from God in Jesus' name if they repent not! |
To envy means to wish that you have what someone else has and that is a vice. You cannot stop people from being envious but you can control how you present yourself before envious people especially friends. You need to wear the traits of humility, kindness, etc and don't make it appear that you take pride in the things you have (which itself is a vice). I may drive an expensive car but if I know someone is envious, I would encourage him/her by saying things like, "i know that this car will be too small for you when you buy someday". I must not slap anything in his/her face that would fuel/feed their envy, These are my thots |

C'mon people! 39 views and only 2 posts! C'mon and lets appreciate our diversity! |
jason12345:Great one! But why aren't people posting here C'mon guys, lets hail Naija! |
Recently Orji Uzor Kalu spoke about what he admires in the Yorubas that the Igbos don't have. While i will not debate about that, its very rare to hear that in Naija. Often than not, we hear Nigerians speak about the ills of different tribes and ethnicities and it has always been counter-productive. Why not re-direct these energies in talking out what makes other tribes or ethnicities thick and how we can exploit them for the growth of Naija?? I admire the Igbos for their creativity. I admire the Berom people of Jos for their peaceful nature I admire the Yorubas for their academic prowess and excellence. I admire the Edos for their frank talk and intelligence. I remember the times of old when quizzes when broadcast on national TV and the students from Edo were always on top ! They are also always bold. Lets be positive! Lets hear more!!!!

Making Mikel the captain might just change his approach to the team and game. Remember Okocha was an 'unserious player' until he became the captain of Bolton and the eagles. Osaze would have been good but his influence and media blah blah after the WC is not exemplary. Enyeama is the favourite but like someone noted, can he lead the team from the goalpost ![]() Siasia may have to look at the younger ones, cos the oldies are almost gone, |
Wow! My motivation sprang from a "little chat" I had with a classmate in my JSS 2, first term. I had finished 5th in my class at the end of my JSS1. This lady classmate of mine said before I would ever take the first position, all the other top 4 students would have to leave the school first I was upset but fired up! Thankfully, I came first in the first term of my JSS2 . i never looked back again. I thank God He was behind it all for my good and though I dont know where this lady is anymore, I thank her for throwing that 'challenge' ![]() Oshemaiye, an edo girl, if you an ex-student of CDSS in the North (left in JSS2), and on Nairaland, holla back! ![]() |
As long as there's no medical complication/issue, I will never opt for a CS. CS has long term issues. Let's remember that God's method is the natural one and the perfect one ![]() |
she how Genevieve dey blush . She don try abeg. Make una give her credit. E no easy after all her early challenges in life |
she deserves it. she's got the talent, the good looks, the "marketability". I hope she's got a good character too . she really works hard and she is the best Nigerian female actress today. |
Sprumbaba:are those wall tiles or floor tiles? you can't get floor tiles for anything close to that price that I know of. Wall tiles prices start from about N750 per sq.m from my last market survey. |
Could you also send your prices to my mailbox as well as your office address in Lagos. email is mogwogho@yahoo.com |
i sent you a mail. could you kindly respond as soon as you can? How does this wood behave with water, should water touch it? Can you share samples here and their respective prices? if not pls send details (including your address, showroom if any) to my mail: mogwogho at yahoo dot com |
MR Money £:Its simple. He said it costs N450 for 1 sq.m, so for your 7m by 6m room, which is 42 sq.m (7 times 6), it will cost you 42 times 450 = 42*450=N18,900.00 ![]() |
@poster, I would also advice you did a market survey, cos tiles no be tiles, @ytechcons, good and clear analysis, |
@poster, have u sent it? mogwogho @ yahoo dot com. Rgds |
In my opinion, Genevieve is simply the best, prettiest and likeable actress/entertainer in Naija today. If we are to rate the actresses using those criteria, there are few that come close. She knows how to carry herself around and we hardly hear scandals about her. |
@poster, I feel for your concern but as 'chaircover' rightly said and analysed, there are too many questions to be answered and too many unknowns. Frankly, you cannot get any firm response here if you do not tell the full story as it is. From your own side/story: What could you have done? How did you both meet? Did you con him into marriage? Did you get pregnant for him? How was the relationship before marriage? Many questions to be answered!!!! I know someone who got married to his girlfriend because she got pregnant for him, even though he wasnt ready. Today, the marriage of 2 years is on the verge of an eventual split but we are praying that God re-unite them. Be bold to address the issues even if you are responsible for the problems. |
Knowing that children love to eat indomie noodles and all other similar products, what are the benefits if any? They are largely carbohydrates and we know children need proteins a lot. Any comments?? ![]() |
@poster, pls send to mogwogho at yahoo dot com. Thank you |
andromida:spot on. @poster, as a believer, none of us knows what the next 20 years would be like except God. Its good to know that you have seen qualities that you admire in her. However, since your praying mama doesn't seem to like the idea from her 'spiritual finds', then you should get on your knees and talk to your God whom you have direct access to. When parents differ from their childrens as rgds marriage partners, whether honestly or selfishly, it simply points to the need for prayers as well as slowing down the pace. No rush. If anyone loves you they can wait. Can I pray with you? "Father, behold your child who needs your assistance. He needs your direction and wisdom as regards his choice of a partner and the reservations of his mum. Father, You have seen the end from the beginning and you know what's best for both of them. Please show them the way they should go in Jesus' name. Amen" Best of favour. |
My God! I remember seeing this young lovely face in the dailies and I said to myself "Why? She's so young, " Above all, may her soul rest in the hands of our great God. |
the poster and davidylan are right in their observation and analyses of levites respectively. Instrumentalists are paid in some churches and I know this first hand but for me its so so wrong. They are servants and should serve. |
