@ captainnigeria, it's rather disheartening that someone who doesn't even have as much as a short story in this literature section can be spewing so much nonsense and trash.

I've observed every comment on this thread and it seems you're out to step on the very last nerve of repogirl, and piss her off. She didn't force you to read or follow her story, she has others. If you don't like the story, keep your frigging undisciplined comments to yourself.

If she attacks you now, people will be saying she doesn't know how to handle criticism, as if they can't distinguish btw criticism and distasteful comments. As NLers will always say, I blame ASUU on your behalf (that's if you're even in a university). #smh#

PS: Attack me and I'd show you the way to Las Vegas.

PS: I think I now know why some novel/story/script writers usually say, "This story is purely fiction(a figment of imagination of the writer). Any semblance between characters in the story and characters in real life are purely coincidental..." or sth like that. wink

To all, a saved person can lose his salvation. I'm sure all these confusions is coming from these so-called pastors, who teach their congregation what suits them.
A saved person can lose his salvation by frustrating the grace of the Lord in his life and by grieving the Holy Spirit. By doing all the little things we don't count as sin, such as looking at a lady lustfully, telling "small" lies, stealing from parents/siblings/spouses(thinking they don't care), telling crude jokes and speaking unedifyably...I could go on and on.
These "little" sins will make your heart get unholy little by little until the Holy Spirit departs.
Take a clue from Biblical examples like Judas, Demas, Ananias and Sapphira etc.
Please, join a bible believing church so that the word of God may be expounded unto you.

It is grammatically incorrect to say "an advice"(I'm referring to the OP's title). Advice is a non-countable noun, and as such should be preceded with sth like "some" or "a piece of", not "an".

OP, I would be making reference to your topic. A christian is one who has been washed with the blood of the Lamb, who is Christ like, and whose ultimate goal is to make heaven. He does everything to make Christ happy.
Right from the Old Testament days to our new dispensation, homosexuality has been and will be an abomination before the Lord. Before you tell me to give you proofs, I will.
Leviticus 18:22 says, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is ABOMINATION."
Leviticus 20:13 says, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an ABOMINATION: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
You might say that we are in the New Testament dispensation, so, I'd give you a passage from there.
1 Corinthians 6:9, 10 says, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor ABUSERS OF THEMSELVES WITH MANKIND, ... , shall inherit the kingdom of God." All are from KJV.
My dear, a christian does NOT commit abominations, as homosexuality is. A christian wants to go to heaven, which homosexuality won't afford you. I sincerely believe that a person can't be born again and still be a homosexual or vice versa. The major grievous offence Sodom and Gomorrah commited was homosexuality, which made God destoy them.
I don't know how else to convince you, but allow the Holy Spirit guide you. If you have affections towards a same sex person, you could pray it out or go for prayers.

I've been thinking on this for a while now; and I decided to share with, rather ask from, you.
You worked for a company (let's say Company A), and the agreement was that you would be paid your money in shares. Fine, you did the work, and you earned the money in shares. A stockbroking firm (assuming Firm B) was assigned to you to help you in the purchase of your shares and its monitoring (in terms of dividends).
You went to Company A to fill the shareholding form, and you filled in the necessary details (like name, banker, c/acct no, CHS no, etc).
It's been over 6 months now and the stockbroking firm hasn't contacted you to tell you anything. The only thing you know is the name of the stockbroking firm. You've contacted the firm, and told them what's up; but they said the Firm B would soon contact you and send your details.
My father has received more than 3 interim dividends, and I haven't received any. My question is, how long does it take for a stockbroking firm to contact you after filling out the shareholding form?

Hi, Chistar. You really gat me reeling with laughter, "lolling" is an understatement. I can totally relate with your experiences, as I attended FGGC Sagamu. My school had 7 houses, and Osun was yellow. The last person ish also caught me on my day 2. One jobless mumu senior came to our room and shouted last person. I just saw girls flying from diff directions. As per a JJC, i was taking my time. I did work ehn, i started feeling homesick. Too much tori, abi? Anyways, nice job. It feels nice remembering these things. @ as for the peeps saying he said skyscrappers were in FEGO, you didn't understand what he said. He said he remembered admiring beautiful skyscrapers that were in Lagos Island before falling asleep.

Hi, underage. Writing is a step by step thing. Practice makes perfect. Here are my recommendations/corrections:
- Always write out your words in full. Use "th" instead of "d", "you" instead of "u", etc.
- Proper nouns should start with capital letters. Although you've been doing that, some words like Sokoto, weren't capitalised.
- Make your updates a bit more lengthy than it is now. Short updates don't really capture the attention of readers.
I think these are a few that I observed. Ride on, sweets.

HE created two lights in the firmament to rule the earth: the greater to rule in the day, the lesser at night, and the stars also. So, technically, I think the greater light is the Sun, the lesser is the Moon, and the stars is the stars you know.

@ Fhemmy, when the bible said "God is not a man that he should lie...", it meant that God is not like we mortals who usually lie. The word of God makes us know he is the Father. A father should be a man, right? Well, I don't know if "God" as an answer is correct, just guessing. Shalom.
