I fell in love recently, but I think I'll soon fall out of love.

We stay in the same compound, the day she first saw me, she loved my cuteness, calmness et all and she was very vocal about it. She was all over me, making the moves. Though she's pretty and decent I didn't really want to give in because I have strategic plans for my life. Love wasn't part of my agenda at that timr.

But I eventually gave in when she was persistent. And I really love her dearly which she knows but now she is really giving me attitudes for just no reason and I think I'm almost fed up.

I'll just go back to my former lonely life. But i really need someone close (maybe a chat mate)

Unfortunately it is poor people these things happen to. They should go to court and marry first, that one it's own is marriage, and her brothers or cousins can collect her bride price, her father's people don't have to be there.

Imagine a woman of calibre like Deziani raising her kids alone without help from her husband's family, and they will now have the guts to show up on her daughter's wedding day?
Even me like this, if God forbid i had to raise my kids alone, and my children's father did not participate in their life what so ever, they definitely won't even be aware that a marriage is happening.
They definitely also won't dare step foot at that wedding..like it won't even occur to them to try it.

I just imagine my father's brothers having an opinion on anything that concerns me or my siblings lol..as what? People that have ever bought us biscuit?

i think it's people that needs external validation that things like this can happen to.

Some family members does not have shame. Where were they when the bride needed them ? Nonsense, so they now want to eat where they did not sow. Good punish Satan. I will even blame the bride mum for allowing them to come into the wedding venue at first .

I know of an ex whose mum gave her out in marriage, her mum also collected bride price and the necessary items on the traditional list she gave out to the groom. On her wedding day, her elder brother walked her down the aisle and stood as her father.
This happened coz according to my ex, her late father's family abandoned them when her father died, and her mum single handedly trained four of them.

its not a sec sch it's a uni and d hostel is inside d uni they dont have labour day like sec sch,those who stay off k normally clear thier compound moreover it has been paid for,u should hold d VC accountable and nasu not student, I nerver cleared while in sch

And so... This same thing happened when I was serving, I was told local government chairman is in charge of keeping the copers lodge clean, that every two months, people are paid to do the job from secretariat.

I told them it won't happen under my watch, me and other delta guys, we took cutlass and cleared the environment, go out, cleaned all the gutter. The natives were shocked because it has never happened...

We made it a norm that every Saturday, we must clean... I later made the CLO, to cut the long story short, the oba invited the copers for dinner , thanking us for extending our good services to the community.

The local government chairman invited me to his office, encouraged me to continue this way.... That is how the local government was able to save over 80k every 3 month for coper lodge maintenance... Till date over 4yrs now ... I still get report that the practice is been passed from year to year.

So what am I saying, it's not my job, its not my job...is the reason Nigeria is in this mess .... The energy they are using for protest is enough to take those bushes down
