Buhari is still experiencing hangover from the period he was a maximum ruler. The man is still living in the past, He thinks this is 1984, No wonder the dull'ard called Germany "West Germany".

A Leopard can never change its spots

Take a pig and dress it up, apply the most expensive perfumes on it, It will still go into a ditch. In this case, Buhari is the pig and his dressers are Tinubu, Amaechi, etc.

What did he meet on ground? Was he not a former Head of State?
Did he not have plans before campaigning for election?
He had had three attempts at the Presidency, so he has no excuses.
And what exactly is your "PAIN" about this Cabinet formation, judging by the fact that things have been getting better and better since Buhari took office..... even without a cabinet? Electricity has improved drastically, Petrol is widely available at #87 and "cheater pumps" are being clamped upon, e.t.c

Are you by any chance related to one of those WOLVES waiting in the wings to benefit from the looting spree that Ministers represent in the last Jonathan's Govt or are people like you intent on making "Ministers" sabotage the Govt of Buhari?

They did 419 the then president with their noise and propaganda.... Thinking the populace aren't politically conscious.

How I wish the then president will ask for refund of the money they took from him by swindling him
Thank you joor!
Those stewpid, senile old men that call themselves Afenifere (and their younger ones too) who sold their birthright for a "Plate of Porridge" need to drink Otakpiapia and waste-away.

Did they not promise Jonathan that they represent Yorubas and would deliver the South West to him?
The fact that they failed to Deliver one village in Yoruba land to Jonathan has shown emphatically that THEY DONT CARRY ANY WEIGHT IN YORUBALAND.
THEY ARE HUNGRY OLD MEN AND THUGS/TOUTS LOOKING FOR CHEAP FOOD AND A FOLISH PERSON TO SCAM!
grin grin grin

Authentic Yoruba leadership and lineage do not sell their conscience for money.
Jonathan was defrauded, as in most things, even the recently kaput Ooni of Ife defrauded Jonathan
but then, if you are foolish enough to believe such "phantom claims" that one single person or group can DELIVER a sophisticated nation like Yorubas, a nation whose people does not subscribe to "herd mentality" and will challenge any opinion/position put forward until they are certain it is the best and in their interest, then he deserved to be SCAMMED.

In Oshiomole's voice: AFENIFERE CAN GO AND DIE.
The MILLIONS of INFORMED NIGERIANS who elected BUHARI and placed their trust in him dont give a hoot about what Afenifere thinks.
Buhari is doing just fine, as long as he dismantles those cabal that Jonathan identified but could do nothing about, recovers our stolen patrimony and jails the perpetrators.

Nigerians would march unto the streets and we would vote out Buhari in the next election, if he does not fulfil his "cardinal promise" of:

1.) Probing/investigating the monumental corruption of the last regime especially.....and other regimes afterwards
2.) Recovering the stupendous loot they stole, seize properties that are "proceeds of crime" and impound all "impoundables".
3.) Jail the perpetrators, to serve as a deterrent to future politicians and public office holders that if you want to be rich suddenly, then be prepared to go to jail for 300years. tongue

You have not had any need to run to the nearest army barracks for the sake of you precious life even if your house was burnt to the ground.
You have not been displaced from your family just because you had to go to work that morning.
You don't even have any idea of what a curfew feels like.
You have not been ask to stay back home when you are supposed to be in school,or work or transact a business because of religious riot.
You have not seen where people turn on thier neighors in the dead of the night.
You never had to wonder what the next day after an election would be like, after casting your vote.
You don't even know the meaning of innocent blood is.
You been told that all Nigerian's problem was from GEJ.

The only thing you have experienced is just agbero fighting in the park.
Judging from comment, you sound like someone who has lived in only Lagos all your life.
Keep blaming GEJ.
Like I earlier said,I don't blame you.
I get tour drift ...and l feel your pain.
All the things you wrote are true and it is very sad.
I hope together we can all get this rubbish sorted out ASAP.

But l dont want you to mix-up two different things.

1.) behaviour of the average Northerner wrt Religious fanaticism, Religious riots and Political violence.
*The Northern elders and Northerners in general need to preach more tolerance and respect for human life.
*They need to tell their 'bowl-brandishing' almajaris not to carry knife and slaughter people like goats, at the slightest disagreement.
*Hausas and Muslim religion is really a tinder box
*Muslim leaders need to start preaching Tolerance, forgiveness and understanding in their Mosques and from the Quaran and not all those vengeful, hateful, murderous and inciting ninsense l hear them preach over their Public address systems

2.) when a nation is under threat, the Leader must live up to expectation.
*Jonathan, as in most things, displays gross ineptitude.
*Buhari has tried t be President a few times and each time, l never voted for him until l am forced to make a choice between him and Jonathan .... and that was a very easy choice! Jonathan is just "not it" even though l voted for him in 2011, hoping his PhD, his being a minority and shoeless could be an advantage! But l like many others, was wrong
*Jonathan plaied politics with the fight against Boko haram
]*Jonathan did not act to deal decisively with his Military officers who have turned the fight against BH, into a lucrative business
*Jonathan showed that he does not value the Northern life very much by his behaviour in the face of mass killings from the North
*As the President, the buck stops at his table, whether he was directly responsible or not
*Even foreign nations realized that he and his team were not serious about fighting BH and so began to isolate him by not selling weapons to him.
No point arming the Nigerian Govt if the weapons will end up being sold to BH members, by his Top military commanders
*How about a C-in-C who only visits his men at war (and victims killed and displaced) just two weeks to election? What impression does that create in the minds of those people? Just imagine you are one of them?
*fighting BH is not going to be easy because this is not One Army facing another! This is a "hit-and-run" Guerilla warfare that our soldiers are just getting to grips with. But these soldiers are not motivated by the body language of President Jonathan and his commanders hence there was mutiny all over the place

So Jonathan deserves all the blame he is getting.
At the same time, the problem goes deeper than that. Northerners and Northern Muslims in general, need a re-orientation towards Love, Peace, Forgiveness and Co-habitation.

The best you can do is to join hands with this Buhari Govt, to achieve results in the fight against the BH terrorists, not atatxcking him over nothing as most Easterners are doing.
Victory does not come without sacrifice

Jonathan's era is gone and gone for good, Like IBB, he's never gonna rule this country again, NEVER.

I dont blame the bankers, only a fool will put his trust in those lying Policemen. Half of the time, they are doing illegal road block, collecting "Rogger", the other half, they are drunk on Orijin or some kaikai.

This reminds me of what Fashola had to do, when Armed robbery became a menace in Lagos state.
He massively funded the Police with resources and setup special anti robbery squads (SARS) with fearless men

I dont understand why and how Ogun state Governor cannot buy about 50APC (and pay in trenches) so that there is always an APC within each branch?
Does he not know that the state makes money from economic activities which are being paralysed right now?
Invest small money into security and reap it back four fold, Governor Ajumobi, you are sharper than this now?
These things are not rocket science or do we need to invite #SaBaba PMB to declare a state of emergency in your state, if you can provide security for the people?i

Bola Tinubu,

You suddenly stopped your age-old agitation for return of True and Fiscal federalism to Nigeria, and suddenly embraced a Muhammadu Buhari for president - a Buhari whom you know shall never touch True and Fiscal Federalism - even with a long pole.

Buhari's north shall never sign onto True and Fiscal Federalism. Proliferation of 19 states by northern soldiers in the once one region north of Nigeria, but only 17 states in the once two regions southern Nigeria created a super political class in the far north. In no other true federal country was land mass used as criterion for deriving new federating units - except in Nigeria as used by soldiers to create states.

The northern super class with its satellite states is over-represented in the NASS and in the rest of Nigeria's polity, and also takes home the larger share of the country's financial allocations.

Tinubu and Co. shall continue to play second fiddle to that super political class, till thy kingdom come - so long as Tinubu and Co. abandon the demand for return of True and Fiscal federalism to Nigeria.
At times in life, you have to make HARD CHOICES!

If your Jonathan was not such a monumental failure, a Kleptomaniac, a treasury looter...... how on earth will anyone think about Buhari?

That is what happens when one is forced to make a CHOICE between an old Mallam who wants to fight corruption... and a so-called PhD holder who mumbles at every question like an Autistic child and told us "stealing is not corruption"! shocked shocked
Jonathan was like the proverbial "blind man who made the "One-eyed" Buhari look like Michal Jackson!

But with hindsight, l am really enjoying this Buhari's regime, l know it is still early days but when was the light time in this country that l had electricity NON-STOP for SEVEN DAYS or when was the last time that Petrol Station attendants were begging me (waving at me ooh!) to drive-in and buy petrol? When was the last time?

As it is, any other choice was better than the status-quo in that inept Otuoke clown.
I wish we had more "serious choices" than these two but we dont.
But professional #WailingWailers can cry from now till 2023, l dont give a phuck! wink wink

With time, the "wind of change" shall reach that stage of "fiscal federalism".

Politics › Re: DPR Seals NNPC, Forte Oil, 12 Other Petrol Stations-the Punch by lastpage: 12:23pm On Aug 22, 2015
Each time l hear about this "fuel Subsidy" issue being raised, it still irks me that we are not asking "basic questions".

Let us not fool ourselves, you cant or should not sell below the COST PRICE of a product .... except in a "welfarist system" where Govt feels that the "real cost of a product", is exorbitant and unbearable by the citizens. Example is the cost of treating some ailments like cancer, HIV, e.t.c. The Govt provides a subsidy to augment the payment of the citizen
Moreso, when the item in question is produced by the country, as in the case of CrudeOil/petrol.
Naturally, l would not expect Petrol to be priced at the same amount in an Oil producing Country and one that is NOT Oil producing.
There are certain advantages and disadvantages to being (or not being) an oil producer.

Having said that, we need to answer the BASIC QUESTION: How much is the RETAIL COST of a Litre of Petrol?

Many, including a former Petroleum Minister (Prof. Tam David WEST) who is also from the oil producing area have made it known to us that after "all deductions and entitlements" are removed, the pump price of Petrol in Nigeria, should be less than A QUARTER of what it is being sold to Nigerians for! (I hope l can still get the document so l can post the analysis here).

That now raises the questions:

1.) Why then are we talking about "subsidy" when the product actually cost far less than what it is being sold for?
2.) Who are we really subsidizing and WHY?
3.) What is the "reasonable" level of profit an investor should make, for investing in the petroleum sector?

If Dangotte could wake up and "promise" to slash the cost of a 50Kg of Cement by about half (50%), does it mean he has suddenly turned "father-Christmas" and therefore decided that he wants to run "at a loss" ...... or does it tell you that as laudable as that move is, it points to the fact that the man has been making "oversize and unthinkable profit", at the expense of the citizens, due to the criminal level of "monopoly, connivance and gangsterism" in the Cement industry?

If we are FIRST able to tackle the rampant corruption within our petroleum industry, from illegal allocation of oil blocks to some individuals (Abdusallami for example), to non-receipts of Govt payments to the National coffers, to illegal bunkering and to the most criminal one: ROUND TRIPPING, where someone buys/steals refined Petrol from Nigeria's NNPC at official price, loads it onto a Ship and then does a short trip on the water, doing a U-Turn back to Nigeria and claims that "the Petrol is IMPORTED and therefore QUALIFIES FOR SUBSIDY"!

This is the "real genesis" of Subsidy. It is a SCAM!!

So, when peeps talk about "removing or not removing subsidy, l wonder whether they are aware that first, Nigerians are not enjoying any subsidy, it is just slush money being stolen by the Otedolas and their likes.
Secondly, Nigerians are ALREADY PAYING HIGHER THAN COST PRICE, for their Petrol consumption and the price actually needs to go down, for "fair pricing" so, Which subsidy are we talking about?

All those #200/Liter figure being bandied about is just the "fixed price" that the criminals want to sell for, to ensure that they keep making more money than they can imagine, at the expense of Nigerians.

If they want, like Dangotte, they can slash the price of Petrol by half (to like #40) and still be making "handsome profit" but l guess like Dangotte, they can only do it if and when they want to make a "political statements", or develop the "fear of God" or are "FORCED BY THE GOVT OF THE DAY" to behave responsibly.

Let us be clear about something, the Petroleum marketers are not doing us any favor..... They sell, We buy!
If they dont sell, and we dont buy, we both suffer because they dont make money while we dont get petrol to use ...but then, a responsible Govt will have a Plan B, incase some Marketers want to Blackmail your
Govt.

Can Buhari plan for a Plan B? Working, local Refineries and Working Rail Systems are the answer.

Politics › Re: DPR Seals NNPC, Forte Oil, 12 Other Petrol Stations-the Punch by lastpage: 11:30am On Aug 22, 2015
The Zonal Operations Controller, Lagos, DPR, Mrs. Chioma Njoku, in an interview with newsmen at the end of the exercise, said the affected stations would be made to pay a fine of N100,000 each.

She said, “Some of them engage in manipulating their pumps that under-dispense to the public, which is a way of over-charging the buyers and they bear the brunt of it when caught.”
This is where the real problem of corruption lies! INEFFECTIVE PUNISHMENT!!

First, this scam has been on, in this Petrol station for God knows how long.

They have made many millions of Naira out of it.
Ofcourse, for anyone to engage in a criminal enterprise, they usually "weigh the BENEFIT and balance it against the COST".

Now, what is #100,000 in the many millions of Naira that these Petrol stations have been making? ..... or does this DPR Comptroller, Chioma Njoku not understand this simple arithmetic.... or is she just "posturing" for the Public so it appears she is working when infact, she may be part of the scam, COLLECTING RETURNS from behind (this is "intelligent" speculation at the moment).

This SCAM happens everywhere and at a time, l was in the United States and witnessed a Gas Station being sealed-off.
Enquiries shows that the Responsible Department would "estimate" how much you could have made from such criminality, multiply it ten-folds and impose such fine on you. The Operators of such Stations are also prosecuted for counterfeiting and market manipulation and jailed.
Such stations also get sealed off for six months.

THAT IS HOW TO PREVENT A RE-OCCURRENCE...... you MAKE THE ENTERPRISE UNPROFITABLE FOR THE CRIMINALS.

Someone should tell this Mrs Chioma Njoku that she is a JOKE (N-joke grin ).
No one is fooled by her tepid action. She either responds "effectively" or we pronounce her "An Accomplice".

End of story.

All these empty heads just run around doing nothing, collecting large amount of money with nothing to show for it aside carrying ashy from one hotel to another.

Our democracy is just damn too expensive and useless as to purpose and filthy. Most of the members are mere scoundrels

No House officer should have more than two aides, with fixed salary set by the Government.
Also, the president needs to cut down the salary of these House members
.

Nigerians have to speak out because left to them, they are even ready to double it and steal us dry.

Jail still awaits him.
