If JK knew...........he would have been just a lil'bit more patient. undecided undecided

After yearning "Opatta" with the mor@n of a Jonathan, decamping back to APC is almost an impossible task!

Too bad, let him just step-down as well so as not to waste Voter's time

But then, l hope Ambode is not just going to start feeling too secure and take Voters for granted.
APC should make it abundantly clear to him that If he fails to exceed fashola's performance, then he will be killing the chances of APC in Lagos, in the 2019 elections, just like Jonathan killed PDP chances this 2015.
Hope "the LESSONS" are learned?

LOL. You see, most of us do not know history hence babas continue to fool and rule us. You are calling present day generals, "feeding bottle generals"? Shocked at your ignorance. Please go to wikipedia and read at what age the following generals became generals: Buhari, Obj, IBB, TY Danjuma, Murtala Mohammed, ( in fact, all the old generals you know). I bet you will apologise to present day generals, who are far older in age and experience.
Stop being ignorant, he was not referring to their age..... He was referring to their level of intelligence, morals and professionalism!

One of things GEJ handlers used to campaigned against GMB which back fired, OBJ said it that the military has been bastardized hopefully GMB will cleanse it & return sanity to the once formidable army.
..and this is the same GEJ some "Tribal" Eediots are suggesting for Mo Ibrahim Award? grin grin grin

I tell you the guy quickly conceeded defeat when he saw the U.S warship and Marines stationed in Ghana were doing "exercise"!

He knew he was just a "skin breath" from being completely destroyed as he will spend the rest of his years in jail!

Jonathan and his silly supporters want to pull another stunt over our face...NO WAY.
His legacy is that of lies and deceit, he is destined for the dustbin of history

*Buhari needs to purge the Army of all those "Tribal Generals" ..............
*Buhari must also look to REINSTATE Captain Sagir, who leaked the #EkitiGate Video.

He is a Patriot of this country

#SaiBaaba, there is so much to do on your table! God will give you the wisdom.

Marvin67:
I never understood what people meant whenever they said GEJ never loses a battle until I saw the outcome of the elections. The 2015 presidential election wasn't just a battle between GEJ and GMB, it was also a battle between GEJ and OBJ.
Everyone who knows Nigeria well, knows that OBJ spent his time in office, trying to create a name for himself in Africa. Eventually, he left office and became one of Africa's most respected former leaders. GEJ however had more issues on his neck while he was Nigeria's president, and I'm sure he almost had no time to think of Africa. But after losing the elections, GEJ performed an act that made him leap frog OBJ to being one of Africa's greatest. His singular act of congratulating the winner, made the whole world and all of Africa respect him. In some quarters he's been described as the father of modern democracy in Nigeria.

Even the APC which I never thought would ever use the name Jonathan and commend in the same sentence has this to say through Alhaji Lai Mohammed by that
singular act, which went a long way in dousing post-election tension, the President had snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
It also noted that Jonathan had written his name in gold in the annals of Nigeria’s history and catapulted himself to a statesman.

Also, Mo Ibrahim a man who has never said anything about OBJ had this to say about GEJ; Thank you Mr President. If you are seeking a legacy, you have definitely achieved
it.”
If GEJ eventually wins the Mo Ibrahim award for 2015, then he'd definitely be smiling all over Africa, far more than OBJ is smiling. When the UN, AU, Commonwealth, etc looks for an African democrat to use an example, they'd definitely use GEJ, while OBJ falls into the category of so many former presidents.

Lastly, as my warri friend said "who God don bless, God don bless, Jona no dey ever lose. Him lose Aso Rock, but him win Africa".
Igbos and their bad attitude!
Always trying to "despoil" others!
All these "noise" about Mo Awards and GEJ is "campaign-after-election"!

The same GEJ who destroyed the Army and politicised them so much they had to HIDE BUHARI's CERTIFICATE so they can claim the Army does not have it? Only to bring it our after Buhari won the election!

Army hierarchy is a disgrace!, to betray one of your own Generals, for a clueless Clown like Ebelete Jonathan?

Again, it's pure luck (based on greed in the reverend father's case). Predicting an event which inherently has only two possible outcome does not make one a man of God. I know people who can do better and they don't claim to speak to God. Heck, a lot of animals do better. Paul the Octopus comes to mind. He predicted correctly 13 out of 15 matches world cup matches.

I knew right before APC's convention that whosoever wins it has a 75% chance of becoming the next president. As soon as Buhari became the nominee that chance went to 95% leaving 5% chance of failure to the "Known Unknown".

His past election failure made it a mathematical certainty that he'll win this time.
You are very daft, just bandying words along, so as to sound intelligent! grin

How on earth can 95% be classified as "mathematical certainty"......... or dont you know the meaning of "certainty"?

BTW: If know #SaiBaaba was certain to win, why did all'ya not just vote for him ...........instead of deceiving "Ebelete" Jonathan?

Infact as much as l detest all these fake men of gawd, Father Mbaka has set himself apart.
Like prophet Nehemiah, Mbaka spoke Truth to power..........something l have been expecting the likes of G.O Adeboye to do to OBJ (front seat at Redeem camp) and to Jonathan.
But G.O disappointed and was playing politics.

The strange thing is that Mbaka is Igbo and the general trend is for Igbos to support Jonathan blindly, like 'Sheeple'
I even heard a Record waxed purposely to ridicule Mbaka and call him a traitor.

There is still hope for this country.... and for the Igbo race in particular, because l am sure there are more Mbakas within the Igbo nation.

My friend, it's foolishness at your own part to think you are turning something in your favour over 50years without anything to show for it politically; what that tells you is to do things differently to achieve your desired result; alliance with the Northerners just like 63 and 79 or Westerners but that I doubt

It's foolishness that would make you think that Igbos would be able to become anything politically without Northerners' votes. The only way Igbos can tell the Northerners to go to hell is to form alliance with the South Westerners which I doubt cos of their conscience. You guys are smart I believed but due to your failed arrogance.......

@GentleToks:

You have made your point ...and it is brilliant.
Before the election, l always say that "Only a foolish fly follows a dead-body down to the grave".
Jonathan was that "dead body" metaphorically.

Well, the election has come and gone and the "FLIES" have seen the result.

If GEJ had won I am sure there would have been some gloating and triumphalism in the SS and SE which is unfortunate but true. We need to separate POLITICS from performance and I am one of those who agree that while GEJ's performance was poor he might have got away with it if maybe he was from the North.
The fact is he is from the South and he needed the entire south behind him to stand any chance. He FAILED to unite the South. In almost every thing he did he was DIVISIVE. He was able to persuade Tinub to back him in 2011. No one knows what promises he made and kept or failed to keep. Also all the key people in PDP like Oyinlola ,OBJ ,Iyabo Obasanjo, Dimeji Bankole etc from the SW where were they in his government.? Unfortunately there has always been unhealthy rivalry between the SE and SW . If he was focused on his ambition he should have managed this properly but he gave the impression that he was TAKING SIDES Perception is more important than reality often .When Yorubas were screamiing marginalization he ignored them. When it was claimed that Stella Oduah was ethnically cleansing Yorubas what did he do? A fatal error. He underestimated Tinubu which was probably a death sentence.Additionally a good general does not fight unnecessary battles. So why did he fight Amaechi ,Saraki etc .It would be interesting to know what was the deal with Tinubu.
He came to beg even the Dogs in the S/West....... just after the postponed the election and he dangled Dollars and Confab at us!
I guess by now he would have realized that Yorubas are not the other tribe that is governed by MONEY!
You insult us, we make you pay dearly..... at the appropriate time.
But we are equally very forgiving as you can see, in our relationship with Buhari and the entire North.
In fact, we dont hold grudges for too long, once the offender turns a new leaf

We dont boast (infact we underestimate our strength so that our enemy can feel overconfident) but we let the OUTCOME judge our performance, unlike our Eastern brothers who are too arrogant and full of Gra-Gra. Here they go again!

Finally what was the political value of Dieziani Allison-Maduekwe as far as his reelection was concerned. Clearly she seemed compromised by corruption and therefore one must question the wisdom or value of keeping her from the point of view of reelection. Even if he wanted to keep the position in the SS which I support I do not see her as qualified either technically or politically there are many better choices from the SS. This was a very strategic position afterall. Other choices like Doyin Okupe only made him look like a learner. IN everything I have mentioned I say nothing about his "PERFORMANCE" but his skill as a POLITICIAN who was aiming for a second term s

I dont want to comment on everything you have written because l am not a N/Deltan nor Igbo but honestly, l must give you a standing ovation for the bolded part!

Even as an "outsider", you were able to succinctly summarise the "Yoruba Politics" of the South West in a way that only a S/Westerner is expected to appreciate.
I will be paying attention to your post henceforth.

Finally, l think it is wrong to crucify someone.... for fear of an offense WE THINK they would commit in the future.
It is better we WAIT & SEE and allow them to make the first move...........before deciding their guilt..[/b
I understand that once beaten, twice shy .... but we must also understand that "Life itself is Dynamic and people change/adjust to reality".

IMO, l think Buhari, at this point, is our best bet, if we are forced to chose between him and Jonathan.
I dont think Buhari will go as far as buying weapons for Boko haram... and do it PUBLICLY, with public funds!
Jeez, what was Jonathan thinking?

I am also almost certain that the Northerners have learnt some lessons from the events of 2009 and 2011 (lessons Igbos are still yet to imbibe) and that is: You have to work with other tribes, even in a second position at times, IF YOU WANT TO BE AT THE TOP AND ACHIEVE YOUR REGION'S PURPOSE.

I also dont think Hausas will push the "Religious agenda", as most people are trying to scare us about. Buhari for certain, will never push it, that l am sure about.
Dont forget it was even Jonathan that went to PAY-UP the debts which Nigeria owed to OIC, which if left unpaid (as subsequent Govt of OBJ and Yar Ardua have done) will have meant an AUTOMATIC EXPULSION of NIGERIA from the Islamic Group!

Right now, Igbos are very angry grin and instead of channeling that anger into investigating "What went wrong", most are busy abusing and pointing fingers at Yorubas!
Igbos hate Hausas, they hate Yorubas..... who is left in Nigeria that they dont hate, considering that these two tribes are conveniently accountable for like 60-70% of Nigeria's population! There is a reason they call them "major tribes" of Nigeria, including Igbos.

Well, keep abusing and fuming.... while Yorubas take their turn for the next Presidency.
Who is the loser here?

I also want to remind the likes of Asari Dokubo:
No one is saying you cant blow-up pipelines and cripple the Oil industry.

What we are saying is:
1.) Even if there is no more Oil in Nigeria, the nation will still "struggle to survive" after-all, there are countries without Oil who have a better standard of living than Nigeria, its a question of "re-adjustment and re-alignment of priorities"

2.) When it happens, you are as good as DEAD...with the rest of your Militants.
Now, l dont think there is any "Rich militant" who wants to die! grin grin
And even if you manage to run (assuming), you will live a life of misery like Osama bin laden, all the rest of your miserablelife, till that final bullet eneters your skull. dont start "forming James Bond" here because even Saddam Hussein, Ghadafi, Osama, e.t.c will have prefered to be alive, if they had a choice wink

3.) The Niger Delta is is a "protected area" for now because it has most of the "golden egg". If you destroy that "Egg", the Niger Delta is more useful to the Government, as a research waste swamp! Govt forces will reduce it to rubble under the pretext of fighting insurgency.
Go and ask people in Borno/Maiduguri, how it feels and sounds, for your location ot be a theatre of war.
And this one will be worse.... Not even those annoying creek Mosquitoes will survive. Napalm will be used to bunn the place down completely.

So, Either way, you lose!...and your people and the whole region lose even more

Its always a good thing to THINK FIRST.......before ACTING.

this time around, only your blood will flow. Igbos are peace loving people, so lets give peace a chance. My advice to Buhari is to try as much as possible to reintegrate Igbos fully into Nigeria using his experience. If he succeed in doing that, he will enjoy support from Igbos more than Jonathan did. If Igbos are behind you, nothing will make them stab you at the back, just take few of those Igbos that stood behind Buhari during this election as a case study; Okorocha, Ngige, Amechi, Dr Dozie Ikedife ( fmr president Ohaneze ndigbo)- i wish he will take his advice.
NO MAN'S AMBITION IS WORTH THE BLOOD OF ANY NIGERIRIAN
But MAJORITY of IGBOS (like 95%) are rabid haters of everybody else, be it Hausas or Yorubas.
Just read the comment on this thread alone and you will get my drift or look at the voting pattern in the East.
The handful number of Igbos you mention above are very infinitesimal and they are luckily are aligned with the APC which is most Yorubas and Hausas.

Now that the IGBO Candidate has lost woefully, they think Buhari owes them "something" if he wants to be allowed to rule peacefully?
That is what l call "subtle blackmail".
Were Igbos marginalised under an "Igbo" Presidency of Jonathan ...or what "re-integration" are you talking about?

Buhari does not need the kind of "tribalistic, mindless, blind support" that Igbos gave Jonathan...... he needs the opposition so that he would not just be surrounded by "Yes Men", the way Jonathan was.
Let the Igbos play the "opposition" for now so that they can point out what Buhari is not doing right.... and Buhari can correct himself. undecided

Its very funny but sad when Igbos play both sides: Today, they dont want to be part of Nigeria and consider themselves as Biafrans, the next moment, they want to be integrated and given juicy posts in a Nigerian Govt they did not vote for!
Sorry, it does not work like that.

Some people worked very hard for this victory, putting life and resources on the line
Winners get served FIRST.... before the losers are even considered, if at all.

My advice to IGBOS: Make wise political decisions that reflect your long-term interests,...... not short-sighted and myopic decisions based solely on "Tribalism and Hatred"

These are the LEGACIES of that Devilish Jonathan.............. yet he is here PRETENDING that he wants Peace?
You need to hear him say "No blood of Nigerian is worth my Political ambition"!

Like you asked, are those weapons meant to cook Rice..... or to "cook" fellow Nigerians that he is President over?

Let us not make the mistake of thinking Jonathan is a gentle man by quickly congratulating Buhari.

He has TWO CHOICES:

1.) Accept defeat quietly and hop for a "plea bargain" or

2.) Cause trouble and get the "Gbagbo" treatment immediately.

Like any other "rational being" , he weighed his options at this moment and "self preservation" to over.
He chose to stay alive and not head to ICC, like Gbagbo
grin grin

Aside that, Jonathan is the worst President and most devilish of all the Presidents Nigeria ever had.
I cant remember any other President that DIRECTLY ARMED TERRORISTS in our midst, on the basis of Ethnicity.
He also ruined the professionalism of the Army and turned them to mere "election Riggers" that minion Nations like Niger and Chad started to ridicule

That is how History will remember and judge Jonathan

Let me ask you guys a question?

Why were APC supporters rejoicing in the North and South West?

The answer is simple.

They believe that they are now in control of the oil wealth of the nation.
Lastpage: No Sir, They rejoiced because they feel their vote has "counted" and their candidate has won the election.
You would do the same, if Jonathan had won the election.
Unfortunately, the militants feel cheated aggrieved and denied.

The smart thing to do is dialogue and negotiation and inclusion in governance.

APC need to give these guys a sense of belonging.

Lastpage: Stop spewing nonsense sir! Who cheat them? How? Who denied them? How? because they expect 2million Easterners to be more than 20Million Nigerians?

we would not dialogue or negotiate with any terrorists.... under threats. End of Story

You people have started making me regret campaigning and voting for Buhari already. As an Igbo man , I was told that if I was (around) during the war or during Buhari's military regime, then I would see why I shouldnt support him . You Hausas nd yorubas want us to forget about the war and move forward but you always refer to the war always...feeling bad already!
Dont listen tot them. I witnessed both and l will be honest with you.

The War was bad and could have been avoided. Sorry about being reminded about the war.
Both sides were intransigent as they both made mistakes (Tit-for-Tat, ....Kill Balewa & Co, we also Kill Ironsi & Co)
Was seceding the ONLY solution back then? Is it today?

Some "Igbo" folks are always the first to bring-up the topic in a way that evokes anger from the other side (especially Yorubas) who then have to defend their position by "bringing-up" facts which unfortunately are unpalatable!
War is never a solution, anywhere in the world...... it is just ab avenue to vent anger or seek revenge. Period!

See yourself as a Nigerian since l suspect you dont belong to the "old generation" like us who are still full of hate and still fighting! undecided

As for Buhari in 1983, the truth is that Nigeria was just disintegrating at an alarming rate back then.
The Politicians, not much different with the ones we have now who increase their own salaries as they like, were just looting the country dry!
One of them even said "Until l see Nigerians eating from the Dustbin, then l will believe they are suffering"! shocked

And you know, because the leaders are very bad, the whole nation was just following suit!
Looting was "standard practice" and the President then, Shagari, was justa figure head, held hostage by his lieutenants!
Not much different from Jonathan in that manner.

Buhari and his guys were the real patriot who saw what our country was degenerating into.... and came to the rescue.
Buhari and idiagbon came-in and began to sanitize the polity.
You cant fight corruption, as institutionalized as it were, with kids glove.

And it was working!
*Serious Crime, which attracts sever penalties, was going down (Armed Robbery, Drug pushing, Looting, et.c)
*Students reported to school on the dot of 8am, instead of playing truancy around in Uniform
*Environment was becoming cleaner and you dare not drink your pure-water and throw the sachet in the ground as people do today!
*Contractors were executing jobs they collected money from
*Though the Politicians have massacred the economy by their looting and lack of planning, Buhari still managed the little we had without borrowing (Do you know how much the Jonathan;s Govt has borrowed this year alone?)
*Nigerians were adjusting but we knew why we were suffering and what the benefits will be, in a short while.

Unfortunately, people like Babangida had there own selfish interest, far and above National interest.
I will vote for a Buhari Govt (military) any day anytime...against these rapacious looting Politicians, if l have to.

Ghana went through a similar "cleansing" and got better!

But then, those who benefit from the rot will always want the status-quo to be maintained and would spread "fear" through rumor mongering. undecided

This is my best attempt to be honest and forthright about the two issues you raised.

Inasmuch as I don't subscribed to gorilla warfare or militancy, some dudes here are over-rating the Nigerian military. If the Niger Delta militancy is not handled with care, it will crumble the Nigeria economy. The Hausas made the country ungovernable to GEJ through Boko Haram. Don't forget that Niger militant can do same to Buhari's administration and nothing will happen. Don't trust the Americans and the like when it comes to protecting oil. This is civilian administration and I tell you Buhari don't have the guts to wipe out the militant just like that. There has to be consultation. Those of you calling for war don't know anything, we don't need it. Let's calm down as this period is not the right time for this. Asari Dokubo should be called to order. I read a post where a fellow N/Landers called Benin Republic a common country, I just laughed, no country should be taken for granted as long as it is a soverign state.
We still wont negotiate with terrorists!
OBJ, regrettably so, leveled ODI when it was a National threat.
A Buhari Govt, will not hesitate to do same, if the Militants become a national threat.
Its that simple.

BTW: Stop saying the North made the Nation ungovernable for GEJ.
GEJ suffers from "Anxiety Disorder". (Read it up please). You can see that he cant handle difficult situations and gets easily overwhelmed!
He is just incompetent and incapable of managing a complex contraption like Nigeria.

A crase-man like OBJ would have flattened the whole of Borno, if need be, to kick Boko Haram out within three months at most.

Less I forget, GEJ must produce those #Chibok Girls, as he promised, before he stumps off to Otuoke!
We still hold him responsible for that. undecided

Okay, let sheath our sword.

Governorship election is just about a week away.

Will Ndigbo redeem themselves .... or still try to play the spoiler?

Let us vote APC's Ambode for Governor in Lagos State.
Since APC has clinched the Center, it time for Lagos to enjoy the benefits of a "ruling party" because Lagos has been punished in the last 16yrs, for being an opposition party state.

When we vote-in APC/Ambode as Governor, l will personally go to Abuja and ask #SaiBaaba to please BUILD the 4th Mainland Bridge so that commerce can move rapidly in Lagos.
The 3rd mainland Bridge was built by Babangida (or at least commissioned).
Lagos deserves some federal presence now? angry angry

Of course, our Igbo brothers who are primarily traders will benefit a lot form these. I hope we all see the win-win situation here?

snapshot: from the voting pattern it is obvious that Buhari is not a popular candidate in the south east and the south south
and this regions contribute over 80percent of our resources.Over the years these regions obviously have been marginalized by
the Nigerian state.Agitations in these regions will render the Apc government handicap and the change and progress that the government
seek to achieve will be elusive. This is not the time for anyone to start talking arrogantly, but we must understand the pain of the minority
and be magnanimous in victory.
I think everyone recognises the injustice to the Niger Delta, including the hanging of Saro Wiwa by Babangida
Even a blindman knows that the place was exploited for the benefit of the whole nation.
That was shy the Govt in recent times, have increased the allocation to the area, far beyond that of other states.

The problem with the N/Delta TODAY is not that of Govt neglect but that of "SELF EXPLOITATION" by the same Niger Deltans!

Ask yourself: This Asari Dokubo who claims he speaks for Niger Delta, when given money to DEVELOP HIS AREA, what did he do?

Answer: he looted the money and went to build a UNIVERSITY IN BENIN REPUBLIC! shocked shocked shocked

if he truly loves the ND (as against just exploiting their misery), why did he not use the money to develop the ND, like ensure their is portable water in the place or good roads?
Why did he not build the University, with the looted funds, in the Niger Delta?

So, the current problem of the ND has to do with their "self appointed" leaders who are only interested in their own personal selfish fiefdoms.
If the amount of money allocated to the NDDC is judiciously used, that place should be better than Abuja by now but we all know that only about 10% of allocated fund get spent on the projects it was meant for.

Imagine it is the same Dokubo that is now forming "Militant" when he has already become like the "Northern oppressors" that you sa hate! undecided

If you let him trick you into another senseless war, you will only end up increasing hisopportunity to enrich himself..... not improve your lot.

But be rest assured that once the Govt is convinced that it is doing what it is suppose to do to your region in terms of "adequate allocations" and you then want to carry weapons against the state, the bets will be off and it will no longer be kids-glove!

A well-motivated Nigerian Army is still a devastating force, ask our neighbours some years back.
Jonathan was never a military man.. and he was so spineless that his weakness actually infected everything, including the Army.
Take a cue form the "postponement six weeks" when he actually acted like a C-in-C? See the difference?

Cheers.

Do you know that Nigerian military with the help of Britain,Egypt,Russia including all non igbo tribes all together yet at the end of the war Nigeria lost 65,000 soldiers while Biafrans lost 15,000 soldiers upon the started with ordinary bare hands cutlasses and sticks ,,according to the history of the war Nigerian military were killing civilians bombing market places and hospitals and churches were civilians are taking refuge if not the hunger policy from Sw first poisoning the minds of biafrans living along the coastal lines of Biafra this idea resulted to the deaths of more than 3.5 million Biafran civilians mostly children. Do your research.
You guys like to delude yourself sha!
I would prefer we forget this sad episode in our history but it seems you Igbos just like to stoke the event, to massage your ego!
Biafra lost just 15,000 soldiers ke? shocked shocked shocked

Even benjamin "Scorpion" Adekunle alone, killed more than that 15,000 soldiers.
Go and read about the battle of Oore junction and how the Biafran Army was driven into the River Niger were hundreds of thousands perished.

Now, dont let me count the number that died from starvation because it was a horrible scene.
Aerial bombing turned you guys to a shivering whimper but l guess most of you guys commenting here were either too young or not even born by then.

Hmmm...really?!

Let me address it all in perspective.

Buhari will be ready to wipe-out the whole Niger Delta if need be..... just like OBJ wiped out Odi, when it was needed.
Dokubo should NEVER mistake the weakness of Jonathan.... for Buhari

If he wipes out the whole Niger Delta, where will he get the financial resources to run the economy ?
Believe it or not,the Niger Delta region of Nigeria is the most sensitive region in the country. And until Nigeria finds an alternative source of income, these creek militants or thugs cannot be handled with kids gloves, they cannot be waved aside, they will always be in your face.So each time they issue a threat the whole country listens. As they know that this crude oil is what is holding this entity called Nigeria to this very day if not it would have disintegrated.

Odi massacre is a clear case of genocide and here you are drumming it up like some feats achieved by OBJ.In all fairness to the people of Odi it is grave injustice to refer to this callous act as a feat.Gladly ICC still has it in its files and God help OBJ when they decide to reopen that file.
If Buhari was as brave as you portray him to be,why did he run back to Mecca when he heard that Babangida has toppled his government..A soldier that had to put a gun to the head of a harmless innocent civilian to seize power is not bravery in my own understanding. He needed to brandish a gun to achieve what would have being an easy operation to some brave soldier..Smh

Crude Oil is available in many parts of the Nigeria from Ondo to even the Chad basin.

Oga the only place that crude oil is found in commercial quantity in Nigeria is in the Niger Delta...Those one they claim is available in those places you mentioned cannot be produced. Why do u think they are not producing them already.

And remember that the price of Oil itself, is rather a curse to the nation and a Buhari has seen this and will diversify the economy into Agriculture, manufacturing, e.t.c

Lol..this cracked me up.

Buhari a former PTF Chairman knows the importance of crude oil to the economy of this nation.
Even if he needs to diversify, revenue from crude oil proceeds will still serve as capital to achieve that aim.
Sorry Nigeria is over dependent on this "curse" like u said. And will take donkey years to free themselves from this "curse".

But i want to believe that you speak from the head and not from the heart, because i disagree with most of the points you made here.
And u are sounding like a bigot to me.Like some one that has some real issues with the existence of the Niger Delta and the Igbos at large.
My response was a reply to that assinie post ..... but you only quoted me and left what l responded to?
Anyway, that is neither here nor there.

Why do you guys think someone who responds to "a direct insult to his tribe" ...... is a Bigot?
Should we Yorubas just keep quiet when Igbos call us names, for no reason other than that we made a "political choice" which we think is superb, genuine and in our best interest?
The same way Ojukwu's generation labeled us cowards just because we knew we were not ready and capable of prosecuting a war that Ojukwu was "ready for"...and wanted to force us into?

Just look at the flaks we are getting today, for supporting Buhari in 2015?
The same Buhari we rejected in 2011 ......while offering our 100% support for a Niger Delta Jonathan!

Dont we have the right to decide our own future.... in our best interest?

I get amused when l read such things and wonder whether it is naivety on the part of Igbos or just being manipulative?

Anyway, we dont give a hoot. We are more than capable for looking after ourselves, under any situation.
Haters can go hug a Jonathan transformer..... and that is being nice! grin grin
