Politics › Re: Buhari, Sylva Campaign Posters Cause Stir In Bayelsa by lastpage: 3:07am On Jan 06, 2015
It seems GMB is gaining ground?
Well, anything to remove this impunity and complacency in Aso Rock will be a welcomed-change.

Now, lets us fast-forward a bit:

Back in 2011, Jonathan enjoyed this kind of "courtesy and support", from Nigerians.
We sweated and worked hard to put him in Aso Rock.
He got there and became a tyrant, he acted with impunity, he insulted and berated us but worst of all, he looted our patrimony!

The BIG QUESTION is: HOW DO WE ENSURE GMB DOES NOT GET TO ASO ROCK AND BECOME ANOTHER TYRANT, LOOTING AND ACTING WITH IMPUNITY?

Men of courage and foresight should "start deliberating" on this issue.....
I cant stand another "looting, clueless slowpoke" for another four years, honestly!

I'm leaning Buhari but I'm just not ready to be a socialist. These ''free-free-dash-dash'' ideas is a huge mistake and it's wrong for Nigeria. The last thing we need is to begin to encourage a welfare state and the inefficiencies that come with it. It is just highly unsustainable and will be too tough to gut. GMB should be talking more of how to grow the private sector and address infastructure because that's where the real jobs come from.
You are right PRODUCTION AND JOBS is the KEY......... but the current situation of Nigeria is like "When trees fall on each other, you remove the 'top-most' FIRST"!
Poverty is making people sell their conscience!

Our Political leaders "deliberately" impoverish our people so that it can be easy for them to get manipulated, based on "One Muudu of Rice and a gallon of groundnut Oil"! Just imagine..... voting based on two things that are so cheap and basic to survival?

When you remove "abject poverty", using social engineering like "Welfare sustenance".... The people are then put in a position to "assert their rights" in any situation.

Let me sight an example: Every time people go out to protest a "bad govt policy", you would notice two things:

1.) In the "welfare states" of Europe and America, they can sustain this protest for weeks, until Govt gives-in to their request

2.) In Nigeria, that protest lasts barely TWO DAYS and fizzles out!
People have to go back to their "source of living" (Shops, Work, Trade, e.t.c)

If you have tried like me, to "dissect" the reason for such "cowardly attitude" (?), you will realize that it is because there is "No Social Cushion" for the Nigerian masses, compared to their say European counterparts who can still EAT, SLEEP IN A HOUSE, ENJOY ELECTRICITY, EDUCATE THEIR CHILDREN, e.t.c .... despite their Protest lasting for a Month!

Their Nigerian counterpart, inflicted with "abject poverty" and devoid of any "Welfare or Social Security" would have ene long-dead and buried within one Week!

That my friend, is why l think it is a right "baby-step", in the right direction.
"Poverty makes an animal of an otherwise decent humanbeing"

NB: As to how he will fund it, l tell you, if you know the amount of "looting and mis-management" that goes on inthe Nigerian system (Did NNPC not just "disappear 20Billion Dollars recently?), you will agree with me that we have the resources to do it..... if only we can plug the leaks, as is done in those foreign countries.

Jonathan does not have the mental capacity nor the courage and willingness to tackle corruption.
GMB (judging by his record when he was head of State with Idiagbon) has shown the "willingness and capacity" to do so.

As a "rational person", I will hedge my bets with him for now. wink wink undecided

My brother, you ve really saved me from what I intend to expatiate on before.................

Everything you wrote up there is nothing but the truth and every bit of it was clearly understood by me

However, I am of opinion that what we as Nigerians should face whatever comes our way in course of getting Nigeria out of economic wilderness; let's get the ball rolling instead of staying with the same system that has failed us for too long
Exactly, if we are afraid of starting (or dont even want to bother to start at all), when then are we going to get out of these mess?
The whole world is leaving us behind!
Countries like Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, e.t.c., all started about the same time Nigeria gots its own independence as well.
See where they are now and compare Nigeria to them..... despite the fact that these countries dont have a litre of "Free-Oil" to energize their economy!

Our greatest problem is CORRUPTION (which "Otuoke Professor" said is "mere stealing"!) and ANY PERSON THAT CAN TAME THAT MONSTER IS WELCOMED TO RULE THIS COUNTRY FOR SOME TIME.

Even if a "He-GOAT" can tame corruption in Nigeria, l want that ewu-Goat to rule Nigeria for four years. I dont care whether the Goat is Muslim, Christiam, Igbo, Yoruba or has a PhD in economics.
What l need now is a "strong-minded and disciplined leader".

On detailed analysis, GMB fits that profile far more than Jonathan. Period!

This is why l will chose GMB over Jonathan.
If you replace Jonathan with someone like that Cross River state Governor or Gov. Fashola, then l will chose them over GMB. Its all logic.

Now, if you think that is an impossible statement, then l have no right even discussing with you!

You need to get a Dictionary and look up the difference between "Stabilize" and "Increase/Decrease".
You also need to get a good "general education", Economics in particular, to see how "Market Stabilization" is/can be achieved.

We therefore wish to assert without equivocation that in terms of performance and achievements, no administration since 1960 when Nigeria gained independence from Britain, has done as much as that of President Jonathan.

I really do not know the benchmark that Okupe used in rating his boss as the best since independence in terms of performance and achievements, but the global fact is: the statement is deceptive, a propaganda and far from reality. You see, to whom much is given, much is expected and to whom much is within his disposal, much is also expected in return.

Nigeria is not a nation begging for funds. It is also a global fact that the country is blessed and stupendously rich. Even the country’s presidents at various occasions have testified to this.
Holistically, if you consider the whole regimes from independence till now, you would notice that Nigeria has never had an outstanding President since independence.

However, if one must choose the worst elected president since 1960, one might just end up by choosing the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. That is to be fair to him because he probably is the worst since independence.
God Bless Nigeria.
Thanks for saying it as "it is".

Out of that 23+Trillion Naira,
*We could have built Three "brand New" Power stations
*We could have built Four Refineries and a few Associated Petro-Chemical Plants
*We could have housed everyone in this country
*We could have constructed over a Fifty thousand Kilometers of Road
*We could have equipped to World standard, all Hospitals in this country and built a few new ones
*We could have equipped all our Schools with Internet, New furniture and refurbished all our Universities to World standard
*We could have set-up manufacturing plants to produce most of those things we now import
*We could have created jobs, employment and stability for our Youths who queue at foreign embassies of countries far below our own level of wealth! ..
.

But Jonathan used all the money for "FOOD," for Propaganda,..while he and his cronies looted the rest.

As for Doyin Okupe, he is no different from the Nzeribes, The Jerry Ganas, The Reuben Abattis, the Labaran Markus, the Segun Adeniyis and so many other "March/Walk on me so that l can chop" ....men-of-the-belly before him.
They will say ANYTHING to justify their pay..... no matter how asinine and far from reality, such utterances are

I say: Only a fool does the same thing over and over-again, for the last six years.....and expect a different result, doing the same thing again for another four years!
Enough of GEJ! Go!! Go away, GEJ!!! You tried your best but it is the worst amongst equals.

Everything must follows rules and Buhari needs to provide his genuine certificates or should be booted out of the election.

Everything Is happening all because of Mr Gej appointing Incompetent as leaders of the armed forces.........How d armed forces say they didn't have former head of state credential.....
It goes to show you that though Nigerians present themselves to be one of the smartest people on the face of the earth, when it comes to the important things in Life, majority are damned so stewpid!

Even in the University, there are courses called "PRE-REQUISITE" ...... you dont pass the "pre-requisite", you cant go on and take the higher "REQUISITE" course. Its that simple!

Ask: How come it is when someone who has ruled this country as "Head of the Army", "Commander-in-Chief", Presidential Aspirant for three good consecutive times, current Presidential Aspirant against the incumbent GEJ........ is being asked to present a Certificate A FEW WEEKS TO THE ELECTION?

*Does it mean that even the current Army Chief of Staff (and all current Army Officers for that matter) did not present (and therefore does not have) his own Certificate before becoming a General?

*Does it mean that INEC on those former THREE occasions, did not verify the General's qualification before putting his name on the Ballot?

*Does it mean that someone who headed PTF and held various NNPC/Governmental positions in this country, over so many years does not have a certificate or no one was intelligent enough to sight his Certificate all these years

Finally, If Gen. Buhari has ruled this country (assuming without a Certificate) in the past, his experience is enough to stand-him instead, for the same position! He has got the PRE-REQUISITE!

Of what benefit is the "clueless one" with his funny PhD degree, to the governance of this country, in the last six years?

When l see a DISTRACTION, l KNOW IT!

Jonathan and his henchmen are getting DESPERATE as we can see...... and are trying to achieve through the BACK-DOOR, what they are realizing they cannot achieve LEGALLY AND DEMOCRATICALLY!

The ONLY WAY for GEJ to win the coming election, is to RIG IT.... and we are beginning to see the symptoms now.

It started with INCE and all our Security Agencies playing DUMB, when the issue of excessive donations/lobbying money in the Jonatahn Campaign was raised! Suddenly, everybody involved was either "unaware" (Police), "out of the country" (EFCC Boss), "not informed" (INEC) or just suffering from memory loss!

Nigerians are "sharper" than this "Certificate ruse" intended to becloud our judgement and make us "vote clueless" again!
Certificate or not, we will vote Buhari come February. We are fed-up with GEJ's "moronic cluelessness".....despite his funny PhD.

Nigeria is getting funnier and ridiculous as the day passes-by!

They hated and demonised Abatcha. When he died they celebrated because they taught that Nigeria will be turned to America but, alas! Nigeria has now turned to the former USSR being balkanised only this one is not only confined to territorial lost but also lost of nationalism to ethnic and religious sentiments on one hand and Afghanistan on the other hand.

Abacha would rather wage a one hundred years war than secede Bakassi to cameroon and would have crushed each and every member of Boko haram until they beg for forgiveness or ran to exile.
Honestly, everyone has their good and bad sides... and Abacha was not excluded.
He definitely has his good sides, one of which is his boldness and determination. He cared less!
Looting, Brutality to non-Northerners, Ethnic cleansing, Killing University students, Sit-tight mentality, are just a few of his "bad sides".

OBJ, as rascally as he is, has a lot of good sides! Where was Boko haram when OBJ was President?
IBB, the Evil genius, is also not devoid of very good sides. "Native intelligence" was one of them.
Even GEJ, as poor as he is, must have some "good sides".

The general consensus/opinion was that Abacha's bad sides far outweigh his good sides. His actions in "Southern Nigeria" was bordering on genocide!

BTW: All those looted funds of Abacha being repatriated from foreign bank accounts and the "half surrender" deal his sons did with the Govt, could have been used to develop this country or the North itself so that we have less of all those urchins being used for suicide bombing and Boko Haram recruits, dont you think?

What we only hope and pray for, is that the person's "good sides" far put-weighs their bad side.

No one said the ONLY REASON some foreign powers got involved in the war, was to "divide Nigeria"! There is a whole world of difference between "the only reason"..... and "one of the reasons"! English is not that difficult naah?

All of a sudden, Jonathan who represents South-South.... is being distinguished to a "macro-level"? shocked shocked Maybe we should simply name his Mother's clan and say that is the "only place" he is from! grin
Ofcourse, when it is convinient, Jonathan is an "Igbo man"... and when it is not, he is an Ogbia man! grin grin

I know in Nigeria, what we have are Councillors, LGA Chairpersons and Governors! How one Fulani man became elected as "MAYOR of Enugu" must be news to "local people" like us and the Nigerian constitution! INEC, see what you caused now?

The Biafran war was an Igbo project. Odumegwu Ojukwu was the spearhead.
That he invaded other tribes like the Benins, the Ibibios, Calabaris, the Itshekiris, the whole of Niger Delta area (South-South, just to fleece them of their crude oil), ....and went as far as Oore in Ondo state, does not mean all those Nationalities were part of the project.
They were just "conquered nations", subdued but still unwilling and therefore cannot be "partners" as is being asserted.

How "Biafra" suddenly became "Niger-Delta", is a leap of faith! (I checked the map and did not see Awka, Enugu, Abakaliki, e.t.c in the South-South, they are on the East of the Niger or what we call "Eastern Nigeria". ....Just like we have Northern and Western Nigeria!).
Like l said, when it is convenient, the "South-South" can be coerced and cajoled into thinking they are truly part of Biafra but anyone grown-up enough to know how and what transpired during that Civil war, knows the difference between a brutally and mercilessly conquered nation ....and the new-found "ally" narrative we hear now.
Strip the "South-South Niger Delta nations" of their crude oil and they would really know where they stand with the East! grin
Ofcourse, an "alliance' would not be a bad idea as long as the South-South is ready to play second fiddle to the Ibos. wink

No one said the "greatness of a nation is MAINLY DETERMINED by her population alone!
I repeat: It is "a factor", just like a "large and arable landmass"! ......and cited the examples of China and India and Brazil.
Comprehension can be this difficult now?

And by the way, I still repeat that No Region in Nigeria has ever produced a President in Nigeria ....except with the backing of ANOTHER ONE of the Major regions.
Check:
*Shagari (North and East; ...the same East that is being accused of ganging-up with! grin )
Obasanjo (1st term; North and East)
Obasanjo (2nd term; West and North)
Yar Ardua (North and East)
Jonathan (remainder of Yar Ardua's term; mostly West by way of political agitation for the respect of the wordings of the constitution ..and East)
Jonathan (1st term; West and East)
Jonathan (2nd term; East and huh )

We all know he wont get the NORTH...that is foreclosed!
whether he would get the WEST, is debatable and anyone's guess.

If he gets neither the WEST nor the NORTH, he is a gonner in 2015.

Any smart person should have seen that "short of RIGGING", toying with the WEST is like digging his own grave, metaphorically and politically speaking.

Finally, once a supposedly intelligent discuss is being taken into the realm of "baseless conspiracy theory", the "We Vs. Them" or they "ganged-Up against us", then l must say it is becoming sentiments!
This "Victim mentality" has never helped anyone as far as l can remember.
In Politics, "Alliances" are the order of the day
and no one is precluded from forming one, it is a matter of WHAT DO YOU or CAN YOU BRING TO THE TABLE"!
No one forms alliance with anyone if the other party has nothing to offer.
Too bad if you have nothing to present yet complain that others are forming alliances! grin
Get over it and bring something to the table and see if you wont be the "new bride" that everyone wants to court! wink wink

It was unnecessary to cede part of your territory just to win a war. I find it not only disgusting but wicked because there are other diplomatic ways to win cooperation with neighbouring country without losing an inch of what you are protecting. That is why I said Gowon was taken over by his relative low literacy. It is sad and painful though.

What concerns Buhari with the actions of Gown? When Buhari was in power he never agreed to give an inch of Nigeria to anybody. It was Obasanjo due to his hypocrisy that agreed to the ICJ's ruling. He should have insisted on not giving in. What a shame
At the bolded:
If we go by the "situation on ground" back then, then we can at least, if not agree, UNDERSTAND why Gowon took that option!

1.) General Gowon did not want any part of Nigeria (Biafra in particular, to be divided. If not for Gowon, the Ebele Azikwe of today which Igbos are supporting, will never have been able to rule over the whole of Nigeria, at best, he will be President of Biafra but then, l dont even see some Ijaw man ruling over Ala-Igbo! shocked shocked

2.) To Stop any war, you first need to STOP THE INFLOW OF WEAPONS! Now, lets not get sentimental about the "morals/right or wrong" of the war itself, lets just focus on the need to STOP THE WAR.
Bakassi is a Port City on the Atlantic Ocean and various opportunist were using the war to make themselves rich by supplying weapons, through it, to Biafra. It happens everywhere war is ongoing, (Ukraine, Somalia, Turkey-Syria border, Russia-Afghanistan, e.t.c).
Dont forget that some countries were in favour of Nigeria breaking up, even up till now, as they see and recognize that "there is power and strength" in a large country with a large population, if well-governed

(that "IF" is very important as we have failed to realize that potential due to mis-governance!
Countries like India, China and Brazi have been able to "leverage" on such BIG Land Mass and Population ...and are WORLD POWERS TODAY)

I said "opportunist"!.. because these countries were practically selling weapons to "BOTH SIDES" of the war!
Just like America trains Syrian insurgents, trains Sunni opposition in Iraq and at the same time, sells weapons to the Government of those countries to fight back! shocked shocked
Its all about "making money off a war"... and its big business!

3.) Gowon was getting overwhelmed by the war and influx of weapons which continue to prolong the war. Cameroon claimed it cannot stop the inflow of weapons through Bakassi since it is Nigerian territory, Gowon himself could not as his Army was over-stretched already!
Cameroon "indirectly suggested" to Gowon that they can, if Bakassi was part of their country!
Gowon chose to "close that hole' by agreeing to cede Bakassi to Cameroon, IF THEY CAN ENSURE THAT WEAPONS DONT PASS THROUGH THE PLACE!
That "bad decision" achieved its aim and Cameroon clamped down on the inflow of weapons through that place.

4.) Now, that was a very bad and cheap "concession" to make but then, it is the sort of desperate decisions that a lot of leaders make, when faced with a war situation.
Obama and George Bush have made such decisions as well.
Even President Putin of Russia annexing Crimea, is a modern-day example of a "bad decision" made in the heat of war" ...to prevent a greater evil!
I think if Gowon was "smart", he should have included a "RETURN CLAUSE" in that agreement, knowing that the people in that place are also Nigerians! OBJ and his "SAN Lawyers" too were less smart when they took the matter to ICJ as they too should have insisted and included such clause in the judgement!

For "some" Igbos to go around mocking "ordinary Bakassi people" who are the people suffering the blow-back now while they were never consulted or agreed to the ceding of Bakkassi to Cameroon, just to SPITE THEM.... is an act of Evil and a case of cutting-off your nose, just to spite your face! Now, if you are a "Biafran", l dont expect you to agree with me on this as your "objective" is to get the weapons to further prosecute the war... and that is understandable to me.

As the "beneficiaries" of this action (still being Nigerians and part of the "Complete Nigeria"wink, the best ALL of us can do for the people of Bakassi is to show gratitude, show sympathy and show solidarity with them.
They paid the price, even without their personal consent! I sincerely hope that one day, Cameroon will do the honorable thing by returning the land to Nigeria, knowing fully well that it "took advantage" of the war situation in Nigeria back then, to gain Bakassi

BTW: I know that if Nigeria gets its act right and we become "what we are destined to become", to get Bakassi back is a very simple matter, even Cameroon will not do much as a whimper! But right now, with the "class of thieving fools in power" ... we are on a long thing!
We have lost respect in the eyes of the world, especially under the current Jonathan Govt, so much that Cameroon and about any tiny nation, disrespects us!

Its a case of "my fellow Widows" (respect to Shepopotamus, Dia ris Good!).
May God look after Jonathan for us sha. wink wink

BTW: I hope we all learn a thing or two from this tragedy?
Locking children in the house without giving a thought to "plan B" in case of emergency, is NOT GOOD.

It is better you hand the key to the children (even if you have no choice than to lock them inside), teach them what to do in situation of emergency BUT give them strict instruction not to go out, except its absolutely necessary.

She killed four children ..... just because of "Awoof Rice"!
Is this the kind of poverty that our leaders have foisted on our people...... to the point that they would do anything, just to secure some Muudu of Rice?

If we "vote Correctly" this time around, maybe Life will become better and women wont need to lock children inside the house to go begging for Awoof "Widow" Rice!
The peole of Ekiti state are already "reaping their own reward" right now!

Though it is universally true that Power corrupts, the Nigerian case is exponentially unimaginable.

Every Tom, Dick and Harry in Nigeria vested with little power abuses it with impunity.
From the uniform men(force) to the semi-uniform(corporate Agbero) and non-uniform men (local agbero), all are power drunk. And from this hierarchy they oppress the less powerful till it gets to the powerless masses who bears the brunt of this ignominious charade.
When you see the military intimidating the police, you'll be forced to show compassion. The same police goes further to intimidate the corporate and local agbero, at the end all the aggression is transferred to the defenseless masses.

Power has now been converted to a tool for oppression and intimidation.

May God save us all from being victimized.
Dont worry, as is said, "What goes round, comes around"!
If the Generals in the Force and the Police Commissioner refuse to "correct and curtail" the excesses of their men, it will turn around to hunt them.

Which numerical strength? It is all fraud which the northern a have perpetrated ever since to make NIGERIANS think they are more in number. What happened when chief Festus odumegwu f(ormer chief executive of national population commission)called the current census figures as a scam, can you recall what happened? The north called for his head, threatened to kill him just because he wanted to expose their scam, up till today, no census re-evaluation. The north have always used this census scam to deceptively control NIGERIA. Let's wait and see how our division will eventually lead to the predicted break up of Nigeria. If Niger deltans for equity sake will not be allowed to peacefully lead this country then I wonder who and what some people really are in this country. After all, GEJ can not be there beyond 2019, then the north can present a credible and right thinking candidate to lead the nation. I see lots of selfishness, greed playing out here. May God help Nigeria and NIGERIANS when it plays out (I hope it doesn't)
You said a lot of good things but as usual, rubbished everything with the bolded!
Which "equity" again are you talking about? (From 2yrs V.P, plus 6yrs as President.... what else does the Niger Deltan want?) and to think that under the "Niger-Deltan", this country has become GROUNDED in all facets?

Maybe we should even allow GEJ to be there for a third term... for the sake of "Equity" for Niger Deltan! shocked shocked grin grin

Thank you. Same here. But the North if they continue with this their ethnocentric and born to rule mentality may lose votes come 2015. They just STFU and not issue statements that will heat up the already red polity.
If you ask: Who stands to benefit from such "unguarded statements" said to come from the North?

The answer to that question would lead you to the MOTIVE and SOURCE of that statement.
It is just Jonathan and his PDP "under-cover operatives" trying to create enmity for Buhari. Those people might not be that bright, but they are not so clueless as to utter such brazen words .... at this junction when Buhari is already poise to achieve success...QED.

Going back on his promisehuh Did buhari not say he won't contest anymorehuh

A clear case of kettle calling pot black....

Has GEJ performed to expectationhuh i would say NO but lets not be hypocrites when pointing out facts...Plus alot of your above claims are "fallacious"

I don't remember you becoming the spoken person for the above tribes/regions you listed, by stating they rejected GEJ...
I think you are missing the point!

Let us assume that there was an agreement that Jonathan will not seek a second term and he agreed to that with the other concerned parties.
Now, that agreement is a "policy document" that affects not just Jonathan, but a host of other nations/tribes/political parties, e.t.c

Now, let us also assume that Buhari once said he would not contest an election again.
That was a "personal decision" by an individual, which he is free to change as he deems fit.

Maybe l should also remind you that in 2011, Jonathan said that 4YRS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR HIM TO give us STEADY POWER SUPPLY, IF HE CANNOT DO IT IN 4YRS, HE CAN NEVER DO IT IN 8YRS AND SHOULD NOT BE RE-ELECTED FOR ANOTHER 4YRS!
HE HAS DEFINITELY FAILED TO DELIVER AS PROMISED, WITHIN 4YRS, SO WHAT IS HE STILL DOING ON THE BALLOT PAPER?

Thus comparing Buhari's PERSONAL DECISION with Jonathan's AGREEMENT ..... is like comparing Apples and Oranges!

Having said that, I think any wise person should just not be contesting for the sake of contesting or looting the treasury!
What IS HIS SCORE CARD, locally and internationally? COMPLETE FAILURE!

As for this particular publication purportedly emanating form Arewa Forum, l think it is a PDP "kite' meant to cause anger and disaffection with Buhari being that most Westerners dont want to hear that kind of "born-to-rule" statements again!

I am sure even if they nurture such sentiments, the ACF is intelligent enough not to say it publicly and so brazenly at this particular moment.

BTW: I am sure Jonathan is under no illusions that the Yorubas will vote for him after all he has done in the last six years ... to them.
Yorubas are known to be very calculating and decoid of sentiments when it comes to issues of morals and discipline. Jonathan will eat his humble pie for running his mouth at Yorubas. he can send the whole delegation from Otuoke to beg Sijuade, Alaafin, OBJ, e.t.c.... He still stands rejected.
We voted him-in in 2011..... HE has bitten the finger that fed him and we will vote him out come 2015. He can bet his balls on that.

My fellow nairalanders, I know yu want change but frankly speaking,Buhari is not what we want now,
Assuming it happen 4years ago.then fine,

But now,I don't think so,he only wants to make name as head of state and as a civilian president of nigeria....
Buhari cannot be trusted,he once said he has resigned frm politics and once said he will make nigeria ungoverable, though he utter it due to he was angry bitterly..
But we need someone who can controls his anger and focus on the problems surrounding nigeria as a country..
Buhari will cause a lot of damage if elected as a president,

Let him come to my house to campaign, it still doesn't change anything. I will vote for whoever I want to vote for and I believe in, his door to door abi na bus/stop to bus/stop campaing doesn't change anything.
Nigerians will definitely be happy seeing him. Isn't he a celebrity vice presidential candidate?
----
Now he has entered the brt buses in Lagos, only God knows how many buses he entered today. Will he do this in the city of Ibadan? Osun? Ogun? Ekiti? Will he travel to the North too? Will he go the the SS and SE also? Abeg, he wants people to vote for them that's all.
Ask yourself this question; will he still enter BRT buses after the election if they end up victorios? Well, they may have the good of the Nation at heart, but bus to bus campaign has nothing to do with election or voting.
You sound like a ROBOT or ZOMBIE!

Once a Robot is PROGRAMMED, it just does the same thing on and on!
When a Zombie walks, it just goes STRAIGHT, even if a fire or pit is ahead, "it does not change anything"... it will keeping walking on into it! shocked shocked shocked

There is something called "grass root" campaigning!
Obama did it in his "Town Hall" meetings across "most" of America!
It brings you into "direct contact" with your voters and you address their "little issues" directly.
Trust me, it works as these small-small groups of voters are the work who will do the ground work for you, in places you cannot reach!

Just see the way people like you are "arguing for and against" here, as if Buhari or Jonathan is your man! grin

.....And by the way, he has to "start somewhere". Better to start where you have support and finish where your support is weaker... but close to the election day. wink
