priscaoge:So this is what "Nigerians Christmas Meal" has turned to? Scanty Rice with ONLY CHICKEN FEET! As a kid in the good old days, ...that part of the Chicken was cut and thrown away, even on a "normal, ordinary day" cooking! Now Christmas has become "served with Chicken Feet"! I look at some of my kids when they throw a whole "half Chicken" into the bin because they have had enough and l cant but get annoyed with them for the "waste", ..........when l see this kind of picture of what fellow Nigerians are going through. God, please have pity on this nation. Fight against those who impoverish your children. Nigerians dont deserve this type of Life. I cant take this anymore. ![]() Lastpage! BTW: Kudos to everyone who made this thread so lively, it made my day! Never laughed like this in a very long time! Maybe we need to "rate" this depictions? For me, those Chickens crossing the "River Niger" to hide among bombing-Boko Harams, till January ending .....is just 'savage' as we say! Its beyond description! ![]()

coolzeal:Just imagine the way all of them starting developing "brain fatigue" and asking stewpid questions! ![]() INEC does not know, Police has not been informed, PDP is not aware, Govt has not been told ..... only "EVERYBODY" knows but "NOBODY" can do NOTHING! Honestly, the level of corruption and rot in this country can only get worse...... except someone in the mold of Jerry Rawlings decides to sacrifice himself "selflessly" for this country and "clear-out" all these VAMPIRE-CRIMINALS! Even that dumb-@rze up there is inferring that "looting public treasury (as in rampant in this Govt), is the way to create wealth for yourself" and because Gen Buhari did not/has not looted the treasury, he is therefore incapable of creating wealth as a President! I mean, how dumb can this slowpoke be? What kind of "autistic mental deficiency" makes a person to reason this way? Just maybe, maybe BUHARI can be a very "old version" of that Rawlings, who knows? Lastpage! |
ROSSIKE:NO! She was a "U.K educated" Fashion designer first. Then she ventured into Oil Exploration..... dont ask me how? According to her: "In an interview with Vanguard, the richest black woman in the world revealed: “We were allocated an oil bloc which nobody wanted at that time because it was deep offshore and very expensive to explore,” “Then we found that we actually stocked oil there in commercial quantities, and we just considered ourselves very lucky.” That bloc remains one of the most prolific in the country." http://www.reviewcious.com/nigerian-icons/meet-folorunsho-alakija-the-richest-black-woman-the-world-t3076.html#sthash.wNPRAJsh.dpuf Some caught my attention in her words .... (which NOBODY wanted). Now, who is "Nobody"? When you say "nobody" wants something, that precludes that "the thing" has been "OFFERED TO EVERYBODY" and they declined! So, was the Oil Block offered to "ME" and "YOU"...... or just between the circles of these "Leeches"? ![]() This is how they share our wealth, amongst themselves. Maybe she should have said "Which none of US wanted"! "Us" referring to her Clique - Babangidas, Atikus, Obasanjos, Dangottes, Ex-Head of state Abubakars, Emirs, Otedolas, the latter-day members (GEJs, PEJ, Allisons, Sanusis, Rochas Okorochas), e.t.c Hmmm.....Dearis Gooduu O! ![]() Lastpage! |
yuio22:You are not communicating AT ALL with this wonderful sketch. Try and articulate your "intention" and maybe represent it. I love a little humour myself! Lastpage! |
fuckerholic:I will implore you to do a little more reading-up on that "Second Republic". It was given birth to in 1979, When NPN, UPN, NPP were the "major parties". Shagari completed his first four years (so dont say 3years!) and was re-elected for another second term under the platform of NPN. But the Shenannigan of that period can better be compared to the debauchery of Sodom and Gommorah! It was under that governance that Nigeria started "sinking into its abyss" when embezzlement became a fashionable thing, when the "get-rich-quick" mentality started to grow roots. When Ministers started saying "Telephone is NOT for the poor", "I am yet to see Nigerians scrounging for food, in refuse dumps"! It was the period when people began to develop the effrontery to "steal Govt funds and live/spend it recklessly". Let me also add that this was the period of "political uncertainty" which threatened the wellbeing of the polity ...after NPN rigged the Presidential election and declared that 2/3 of 19states is 13! Nigeria was facing a very huge probability of disintegration. This is what Buhari/Idiagbon (and the Nigerian military in general) saw, after six years of "democracy" ....and he felt (rightly) that if we leave things to the "Thieving Politicians" and let them continue in their ignominious ways, Nigeria will be in a very sorry state in the next few years. He came in and within a few months, l began to see things l had not seen in Nigeria... for a long time: DISCIPLINE! people started to queue at Bus stops, people stopped defecating and soiling the environment at will, People stopped asking for "bribe" to do their official duty, workers reported to work at 8am on the dot. That is how "the march" to development starts. I dont know how old you were back then (No disrespect) but l tell you, it gave me a lot of hope that Nigeria is getting back on the right tracks! Agreed, there may have been some "excesses" from the then "young military officers" but like they say, Chronic problem, needs chronic solution". Example is the 'forceful need" to stamp out drug trafficking by imposing the death penalty! But that is how it works.... Ghana under Jerry Rawlings is an example! They reaped the rewards after. Imagine, going from being our 'immigrant' Shoe-makers to where Nigerians run to, to invest and seek succour! Well, everything was going well for us under Buhari/Idiagbon ......until that "Evil Genius" quashed everything for his own selfish reasons. We all know the result so l dont need to expatiate on that. Buhari was in power for barely one year! Now, if you compare Nigeria of TODAY with that period when Buhari came to the rescue, you will agree that we are in an even worse mess! I am definitely NOT a fan of General Buhari or any one older than 40yrs becoming our President but since we are "forced" to make a choice between Buhari (going by his record as head of state) and incumbent President Jonathan (going by his record as Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President and President for the last six years!)...... I wont even think twice before choosing Buhari! Its a "No Brainer" ...... except ofcourse if my main consideration and decision is colored by Ethnicity, tribalism and Religion (sentiments) This is my HONEST assessment....based on FACTS. BTW: It is said that "Never entrust ANYTHING VALUABLE into the hands or care of a man who CANNOT KEEP HIS WORDS". President Jonathan: "..If I'm voted into power, within the next four years, the issue of power will become a thing of the past. Four years is enough for anyone in power to make significant improvement, and if I can't improve on power within this period, it then means I CANNOT DO ANYTHING EVEN IF I AM THERE FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS" - Goodluck Jonathan, Vanguard newspaper, 2011Did Jonathan himself not say that if he cannot revamp the Electricity sector within four years, he definite would fail even if given another four years.... that four years is enough to achieve whatever plan a President has? In countries where LEADERS have dignity and feel shame, Jonathan by himself would have THROWN-IN THE TOWEL. but hell-No, in Nigeria, political office is a do-or-die affairs designed for embezzlement! (not corruption, not stealing! )Lastpage! |
fuckerholic:In all HONESTY, the General was there for just about ONE YEAR and l bet you that any HONEST Nigerian would attest to it that his partnership with Tunde Idiagbon actually put Nigeria back on the road to recovery, including recovery from moral decadence which spurns corruption and the overall decay the nation is in, as of today! Democracy was in shambles when Buhari took over, that was precisely why he and Idiagbon took power ...... and tried to correct it. The same Democracy is in shambles right now (you can see how Senators are tear-gassed and scaling fences! ) despite being uninterrupted since 1999! Let us be honest with ourselves, at least for the sake of the younger ones who cannot decide how their future should look like.BTW: I have my own fears of "Northern domination, sharianization" (real or imagined) but then, we have tried Jonathan for SIX SOLID YEARS NOW, we loose nothing if we try Buhari for just FOUR years and vote him out if he does not deliver. That is (should be) the beauty of democracy. But to still vote for someone who told us that "if he cannot perform within FOUR years, he will not be any different even if you give him another four more years".... is sheer stewpidity! Why cant we hold him to his WORDS? ...... because of tribalism, Religion and Ethnicity? Well, bring it on, we reap what we sow. As we lay our bed, so we would lie on it. My back-up plan was activated long ago and power outage is like non-existent in my affairs though l still feel for those who have no choice but to suffer this "shame"! |

new2020:First, l observe that you have now developed the gumption to "read and edit" your post ...instead of being driven by rabid hatred! That much is obvious from what the same post l quoted earlier was ...and what it looks like, right now and a few hours later but then, l am happy that l have made a 'positive impact' on your life! ![]() It is said that "Back in those days, FOLLOWING someone was considered 'stewpid' but nowadays, it is a fad". Same goes with nitwits like you who live their life based on some "silly-LIKES" from equally mentally-diminished but rightly anonymous folks! The fact that you get all your "LIKES" from equally bigoted tribalists and ethnically-myopic folks like yourself, is nothing to brag about but l understand that is how and where you get your "kicks" from. I am not on Nairaland to "compete for LIKES"...... As a matter of fact, something as silly as "Booking front page", "First to comment" "Dancing Skelewu", "Price of Garri" or just plain "No comment" ..... is known to get a lot of "likes"! That should tell you the calibre of dolts that thrive on such "likes" and consider it "a success" in their life! I will advice you to get "real life" likes..... not some inconsequential "cyber-like"..... Pray tell me: What manner of Doctorate Degree (PhD) holder in "English Language and Linguistics" who can neither spell nor write correctly, lives his life based on "ANONYMOUS CYBER-LIKES"? Obviously you are the FRAUD and FAKE that l have exposed you to be. Next time, dont go claiming what you are not!..... and mind your tenses for God's sake. As rightly said, you can only debate your equals.... and l am not, by any stretch of imagination, in your league! Lastpage! PS: so you are also indulging in "digging-up" my previous posts too? One more "like" for you on that one! ![]() |
new2020:Now l know it got you where it really hurts! ![]() Yes, "TRIVIAL", for a pry six student.... but for a PhD in English Language and Linguistics which you claim to be, those litany of grammatical somersaults cant be termed "trivial"? Common, say something else! Even your immediate response right NOW.... couldn't avoid TWO "trivial" poor sentence construction/misuse of word! Cheesux Christ! ![]() Yet you are the same person that goes around abusing everyone here about how they dont understand "use of English", just to rub your own misplaced ego! Were those "dug-up" as well? You can as well "save face" and tell us you wrote and continue to write so poorly,... intentionally! ![]() All those "abuse" dont change anything. 'YOU' ARE NOTHING BUT A PROVEN "ACADEMIC FRAUD", PERIOD. Lastpage! |
See more! new2020:As a matter of fact, l got tired and left the rest ...because almost every paragraph of your post is riddled with "grammatical and punctuation errors" no one will expect from a well-schooled Primary six kid. These are "basic punctuations/grammar" usage anyone should have mastered before leaving JSS3 or Form 3 of those days. Yet you claim to hold a Doctorate in English and Linguistics? Please humour me in another way! Let me also point out that l noticed that all your post, not even with the exception of one, is laced with "hatred for Yorubas" on one hand and praise for the kindred of your wife (Igbo) on another hand. Though at times, you claim to be Ibibio (Akwa Ibom) and at other times, you claim to be "Calabar" (Cross River) and l know these two are different and unique people, l can actually understand and relate with, your denigrating your own tribe as being "second fiddle" to that of your wife. It is not uncommon for some men to feel inferior and/or pussy-whipped to the point of complete emasculation! Eulogizing your spouse people is good but portraying yours as a "follow-follow", "attachee-tribe" is a clear example of the depth of your inferiority complex. Even then, your deep hatred for anything "Yoruba", as displayed in ALL your post, makes me wonder if your Dad (whom you mentioned severally as being married to an Igbo lady, Kudos to him all the same) told you "stories" that have affected you psychologically to the point of paranoia? You've used all the available invectives to describe any post that you dont agree with, as coming from a Yoruba person! Or maybe you got jilted by a Yoruba lady in your erly years and that left an indelibly-traumatising mark on your psyche? I can understand people taking jibes at other tribes (we all do it now and then) but yours has taken a different dimension. EVERY POST, WETIN! I know you suffer from "epileptic seizures" which is a neurological condition (You said so in your own post, quoted above, so dont get mad over that) but l am thinking probably, just probably, the cause and treatment of that your own "peculiar condition" is if you actually "purge yourself of the deep-rooted hatred and bigotry for Yorubas".? Finally, you need to re-educate yourself properly, starting with your written English ( I cant just imagine how you would sound with the spoken aspect!) Thank God you never mentioned/identified the University that gave you a PhD! ....even if it were to be in your dreams (lol) .....otherwise, l suspect other Alumni will petition for a recall of your certificate, if you actually have one, ASAP. l will recommend you start-off with good O-level Textbooks like "Lexis and Structures" or "First Aid in English" in your quest for excellence in the use of the Queens language. That "Doctorate in English" dream is still realisable! ![]() Warm regards and Merry Xmas to you and the family. Lastpage! |
new2020:Hmmm.... So you truly hold a Doctorate degree in English Language and Linguistics! Well, l know any "anonymous bigot" can claim to be a "Professor Emeritus" in-here since Nairaland is "faceless" but then, it is said that "the taste of the pudding, is in the eating". So, "How do you taste"? Your posts are riddled with "grammatical errors, syntax errors and punctuational somersaults so much so that it is very difficult for me to even conclude that you passed through the four walls of a University, (probably studying Yoruba language! lol ) much less hold a Diploma in any discipline!.I am not just trying to run you down (as you do most folks), l am only "taking you out" on the frivolous claim you made and trying to show you how it does not add-up. Anyone is able to make one or two "errors" but when it becomes a pattern as in your case, ....and you still go ahead to make such claim, then we need to really take a "second look" at such claim. Otherwise, everyone must wonder at the "quality" of education and School you attended. I have great respect for "academics" but l dont tolerate charlatans masquerading as one! Your claim was not just a PhD in "anything" but one in English language and Linguistics thus l would expect that you should be a beacon of "the language", spoken, written, usage, syntax, e.t.c. Below, is a "small abstract" of your posts ... and l have added the links so that no one is left in doubt about my intentions. I have also provided our "Doctorate in English Language and Linguistics" .....with simple corrections (in brackets) to assist "you" in your future academic pursuits less you corrupt younger ones. new2020: |
new2020:You also said: Typical low life yoruba ...in another post! So, one can see that its deliberate. How can you write the above and then say "good Yorubas" should ignore it? Why not call the person a swine, if you wanted to, instead of using "Another Yoruba" to append that insult? You call someone stupid (rightly or not) yet you act in an even more profoundly stewpid manner! Just imagine (for explanation sake): that l call you "Another IGBO SWINE"? How would you or other igbos feel about that? You need to be careful with your choice of words, especially in public, even when you are angry. You may have a valid point but when you insult a whole race/tribe, just to get at ONE PERSON...... Anger is not a valid excuse for this kind of careless statement. Stay focused on the issue being discussed and both of you should avoid personal attacks/insult. ![]() l rest my comment. Lastpage! |
HugeMac:@HugeMac: I honestly believe you are a patriotic person and want the best for this country. How l wish Nigerians have other candidates to chose from. personally, l would have prefered someone like Fashola on the Presidential ballot, ... and l am a Christian by faith. But let me ask you this question: If "AGE" were a major issue with regards to "intellect and performance" (since you step-down Buhari over his "age" do you not think that Jonathan who was V.P at 43years and President at 45years, should have transformed Nigeria, in the last SEVEN YEARS?Of what benefit has his "young age" been, to Nigerians and Nigeria? Mind you, l agree that Nigeria does not need a President at any age above 45years sef! As for being a Muslim, do you honestly believe a Muslim cannot rule well? Is Fashola not a Muslim? Have you heard Christians in Lagos complaining about him? Ponder over these things for a minute. Lastpage! |
Dotng:I've always liked Funny Kayode but this "advice" is pure drivel! Trying to use "Religion" to separate Nigerians is the charade of charlatans and FFK is treading that part! Fashola is a Muslim and he governed Lagos for 8yrs...... Christians were not emasculated or culled as FFK would have want us to beleive. If given the opportunity, l am sure Lagosians and indeed Nigerians, (Christian and Muslims) will vote Fashola as President, over GEJ! ![]() Let FFF know this: Nigerians dont really give a hoot about whether GEJ or BUhari is a Christian or Muslim (only political opportunist drive this line to "divide and conquer"!) .... what Nigerians want and need is a cerebral and upright leader, which FFK agrees the erudite Prof Osinbajo, is. Even at that, of what benefit is it to Nigerians in general, that the current President is a Christian? Use Corruption, Intelligence, Foresight, Pre-emptiveness, Astiuteness, e.t.c as your yardstick. Its even funnier that FFK who stole and ruined the Ministry of Aviation as a presiding Minister, FFK who was an Obasanjo attack-Dog .... is "preaching God and religion" now? Nigerian Politicians never cease to amaze me! A case of the Pot calling the Kettle "Black"! Except Funny Kayode can convince Nigerians that being a Christian made GEJ a worthwhile President and a better person than even the yet to be elected Osinbajo, then he should promptly Shut-The-Fhuck-Up! Lastpage! |
Jerry Ghana is right! One DOG from the next street just confirmed it! Lastpage! |
Guidette:God bless you for digging this up! Majority of Nigerians suffer from "self-inflicted AMNESIA" ... but in some cases, it is "corruption inflicted". Nigerians need to hold GEJ to his word..... and those words are very true. Give him ten more "re-elections" and he cant do better than he is doing now, with Nigerian going down day-by-day! I like him as a "person" .......but as a President, he is simply a catastrophic and monumental failure! Lastpage! |
peckhamboi:Yea, we heard that from you before ..... a lot of times! As a confirmed hypocrite and "come-chop" shameless man without any shred of dignity, you said the same thing in all and any previous government that could give you a job. Just Google this sycophant since the days of Babangida's Govt! Crass Nonsense Lastpage! |
omokab:Dont mind the useless man, at least he confirmed that SOME have not been paid their FULL SALARY. Inn such statements you can easily decipher the underlying TRUTH! BTW: What we expect him to tell us is "WHY" the salary has not been paid, whether in full or in parts ........ ELECTION RIGGING AND THUGGERY PAYMENTS .....IS TAKING PRECEDENCE! ![]() Sshhhhhh.......Do not say l told you! ![]() Lastpage! |
@MalcomX + profCorruption: You just picked and chose that which suits you from my post, to criticize! My post was an objective analysis of "peoples feelings" on the street level. The intent was to draw attention to such public opinion ......(however ignorant you think such opinion is, those who hold it also hold the votes required) ... and make Buhari and his handlers, PAY ATTENTION to them. And that is why l followed it up with "suggestions" on how to combat such opinion and went even further to permutate about winning percentages. As the day progresses, l have the feeling that Buhari is becoming more AND MORE ELECTABLE. What we need to be wary of and ready to COMBAT is OFFICIAL RIGGING by INEC itself, in favor of one party. Nigerians must be ready to defend their VOTE... by all means possible. Lastpage! |
Congrats on your wedding anniversary. But why do Nigerians mistake this UNHEALTHY FAT .....for WEALTH? If FaceBook or Microsoft owners (or even our won Dangotte) decide to equate their wealth to "FATNESS", l bet you would need a forklift to move them! Anyway, Dele Momodu for PRESIDENT! ![]() He is still in the race o...... Buhari and Jonathan better watch out. ![]() Lastpage! |
Talking about "PERFORMANCE and MANIFESTOS" ...this is/was GEJ's own, back then when he was seeking election! " I do not know what all experiences from your various states are, but I will repeat here, some of the promises that I recorded that he made across Nigeria and ask you to tell us whether they have been fulfilled. • To complete the second River Niger bridge before the expiration of the tenure • To make the Minister of Works to immediately start repairs of the road leading to Murtala Mohammed International Airport • To transform all major routes in Damaturu to federal roads • To assist in resuscitating all the collapsed industries in Kano state • To set up a committee to review Federal government landed properties in Lagos, hand over those that should and retain those that should be in possession of the Federal Government. • To give Sokoto-Kotangora road unfettered attention • To deliver stable, constant supply of electricity • To ensure that Nigerians do not use generators more than two times in a week • To explore the coal deposits in Benue and Kogi states for improved power supply • To reduce the importation of generators at least 90 percent in four years. • To address the issues of unemployment through diversification of the nation’s economy to that of sustainable agricultural development across the 36 states of federation • To create 1.5 million jobs in 2 years • To transform the economy within four years • To construct 2 world scale petrochemical plants, 2 fertilizer plants and 2 fertilizer blending plants. • To establish petrochemical plant around Koko Free Trade Zone in Delta State • To make Nigeria go beyond producing and exporting crude oil to exporting refined petroleum products because Nigeria has no reason to keep importing kerosene • To make anyone caught breaching the public peace to face the full wrath of the law. • To make sure that no part of the country is allowed to be a sanctuary for criminals anymore be they armed robbers or kidnappers • To make a complete transformation of national security architecture • To ensure there is no sacred cow in the fight against corruption; all crimes will be investigated as security is key. • To strengthen EFCC and ICPC to fight crime • To embark on irrigation project to boost production; to start two projects in Kwara State • To boost farming activities by providing power and water • To re-build Ilesa water scheme • To complete Ife/Ijesa dam • To provide sufficient water to the people of Taraba; • To revamp mining activities in Jos, Plateau State • To make solid mineral key revenue source in Nigeria • To fight corruption regardless of the position of the person involved • To play politics without bitterness. • To lead by example; strengthen the anti-graft agencies, not interfere and give free hand on all matters of investigation against any government official. • To ensure that the National Boundary Development Agencies are funded to tackle the challenges that arose out of the ceding of Bakassi to Cameroun Today, we must rebuild the bridge that will bring change to Nigeria and more Nigerians closer to the promise of Nigeria. Today you will have the opportunity to change broken promises to fulfilled promises and rescue Nigeria from mismanagement and bad governance. NOW: EACH ONE OF US (irrespective of party affiliations or none) MUST X-RAY THESE PROMISES (MANIFESTO) TO DETERMINE IF THEY WERE FULFILLED OR WHAT EVEN THE PAPER THEY ARE WRITTEN ON! Lastpage!

Gbawe:Thank you for this post! I am one of most Nigerians, especially in the South of Nigeria (mostly Yorubas and Igbos) who voted for GEJ in the last election not because we think he is the best but we felt that the North (represented by Buhari ) has dominated power in Nigeria for too long and that the "Born to rule mentality MUST come to an end. There is also the "fear" (justified to a large extent) that a Buhari Presidency might bring about the "Sharianization" of our polity, especially with the havoc that Boko haram is wrecking on Nigerians, based on the notion that they want to ISLAMIZE the whole of Nigeria. Christians and Muslims have always lived together IN PEAACE for ages, and we can still see that in the Western/Southern part of Nigeria till today. Fashola is a Muslim in Lagos and Lagos residents and Christians don give a hoot! The focus was on his administrative qualities and PERFORMANCE This "CONCERNS & WORRIES, is what GEJ has "profitted" from, in the last election. Now, he has ruled for about six years and we can ALL AGREE that we have SEEN what stuff he is made of (You can interpret that anyway you like, ACTION speaks LOUDER than NOISE!) The only place where religion has been used as a tool for terrorism, is in the North, mainly by Northerners ....and Buhari IS a NORTHERNER. People are wondering: What would happen if and when a "Muslim Northerner" actually becomes President? To make matters even more "worrisome", Buhari has NOT openly come out to condemn these "Northern-based" terrorism, to openly assuage the "fear" of Southerners and non-Muslims and ASSURE other Nigerians that if elected, his Government will UPHOLD the SECULAR NATURE of Nigeria and will not "mix religion with politics". As much as l will admit that the above "feelings" will play a major part in the final "voting decisions" of most nigerians in the Souther part of this country (Eastern, Western and Southern Nigeria), l can also tell you that with each passing day and as the election draws closer, a lot of us are getting "Drawn closer" to voting Buhari but we cannot yet make that "leap of faith" unless and until Buhari himself comes openly on TV to address these seemingly "small" but hugely very influential concerns. Buahri needs to do only two things to win the coming election: 1.) Address the "concerns" l raised above, not in a "political party setting" but in a POLICY-FRAMEWORK SETTING, OPENLY ON TV.. 2.) Chose a "respected" Vice President like maybe someone like FASHOLA OR Donald Duke or someone who is respected by the populace from the South! He has most vote from the North...but he stll needs majority vote from the WEST and some votes from the East/South-South will be a "Bonus". As for GEJ, he does not need to say much, his performance in the last six years is his legacy and he will be judged on and by that. He can also be planning to rig the elections ...(which is where l think he is really banking on as we can already see from the voters register fiasco) but Nigerian politics is and has transformed to the point where "blatant rigging" as we have in the past might have dangerous consequence which l hope "selfishness" on his part might fail to make him realize. History will judge but Nigerians must be VIGILANT sha. Lastpage! |
This Mc Abbey of a guy is full of jabber! He makes conclusions that are baseless and utter ridiculous! Declaration of Asset is a starting point in fighting political corruption. at least if like OBJ, he suddenly becomes a Billionaire after leaving office, and starts building Universities and Libraries, then we know for sure that he looted the treasury! 3cycle:First, they are under a "very false illusion" that the girls in Naija are better than the crazy ones they are used to seeing over there in Obodo Oyinbo. Secondly, for those who are grown-up before going abroad, the "cultural affinity" with a home-babe is always there. They still have a nostalgic picture of their "Lagos Babe" in their mind (Ofcourse, the 'cowboy' did not tell her he was relocating when he jumped ship!) Thirdly, when guys travel abroad, they are on "a mission with a time frame", to better their lives. They have very limited time for "romance" in the first few years! Guys work 24/7 to make hard currency, build houses and invest so that they can be comfortable a bit, going forward. This add years to their age, hence the 35-40 range! ![]() Fourth, At "abroad", its not the same way you can mingle with ladies! Odikwa it can be dangerous at times. These "abroad girls" can invite you to sleep with them one moment and the next momen, shout "R@pe"! Now, such incidences have ruined the life of many young, innocent men (judging by later confessions) and guys are just not ready to take the risk. With Naija girls, you all know the "score"! Nobody send. ![]() Fifth, babes in Naija also want to step-up! The daughter of my neighbour has been waiting in the last four years, for a guy abroad to come and take her for a wife! The guy sent his junior brother to represent him in the "engagement ceremony" sef. When l asked her why she could not just settle down with the various suitors around in Naija, she retorted: Uncle, l am prepared to wait o, but l know sha, when l eventually go abroad, the end will justify all the wait! .... And l could not agree more with her. ![]() Finally, those abroad guys know that the Naija babes will still appreciate the "small effizy" they have. Send her a "7year-old Tokunbo" Honda and you don become "correct guy" meanwhile, that same car maybe destined for the scrap yard in Obodo oyinbo! ![]() So, for both parties, it looks like a win-win situation! But let me tell guys the real TRUTH: The Naija babe that you think is better than those "dangerous" ones abroad, will be worse than the girls you ran away from, in a few years time. Just take her over there first and God help you if you did "legal marriage" with her. Judging the by the level of "failed Nigerian marriages" of "IMPORTED SPOUSES" l have come across, trust me on this, l know what l am saying. The Devil you know at times, may be better than that Angel you dont really know. Lastpage! Caveat: This post is not intended to portray Naija Babes in bad light.
