Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Yoruba Movies Promote Babalawos? by lastpage: 8:24pm On May 17, 2010
First let me sound a note of caution: If we must discuss this issue (for those that want to discuss it only) let us avoid inflammatory language, no insult to a person, tribe or nationality. We can all educate and learn from each other.
Now, back to the issue.

@Oba444
however, I have never seen a babalawo that does 'good'. The good they think they offer people always backfires and most times leads to death. You get hooked to these people as soon as you start going to them.
I appreciate your position very well. Like some will say "See no Evil, Hear no Evil"!

On the other hand, if the foundation is weak, the house built upon it is bound to crumble!

First, l asked, "what is juju"? No one has given me an explanation. I am especially interested in your own explanation, Bee444.

WHY? Reason being that the way we perceive something often affect our behavior or disposition towards it. And we can not discuss something, if we are all referring to different things!
'Juju', Occultism, 'babalawo' all mean different things o me but may mean same thing to someone else.

Caveat: I am not a "Babalawo", l am a follower of Chris'st teachings.
Having said that, except we can define cogent action-words like "babalawo" (something l have tried to explain in my earlier Post), and "Juju" we may all be speaking in different tongues!.

But generally speaking, ignorantly or not, we tend to associate "evil" with "Babalawo" and as such, l am not surprised at what you said in quote above.

But in reality, as l have shown, anyone whomsoever we do not understand their source of power, someone we are afraid of or someone that does things we cannot explain, WE can LABEL them a "Babalawo".

Remember what the Pharisees called Jesus, when they could not contend with his God given power? All sorts of derogatory names, including blasphemy, sorcerer, magician (Babalawo),!

So, i have seen so many Babalawo done very good deeds, mos  powerful among them being Christ! Yea, going by "my" definition!!

You can come-up with your own definition and lets look at the soundness of the logic behind it.
No need to get worried or overly spiritual about it, we are just "seeking knowledge" here, so that as the Bible says, "we can be set free".

"Juju" as l understand, is the "wicked use" of spiritual powers (my Def, once again!) as used by anyone, gifted with such powers.

If Jesus (due respects now) was doing evil with the power and knowledge that God gave him (instead of healing the sick, re-visiting the blind, helping the widows, e.t.c) l would be right to say he was using "Juju", i.e. using incomprehensible (to the lay-man) powers to do evil.

So, the keywords here are "doing Evil". Not the "possession o f the powers itself.

Imagine if Albert Einstein used his knowledge for Evil or Galileo? Imagine if Edison (telephone) or the Wright brothers (Aeroplane) used their knowledge to kill people instead of making life easier? Would l not be right to refer to them as "Juju men"? grin

So, no point in "giving a dog a bad name so you can hang it".

Again, those of you trying to castigate Yorubas over the phrase 'Babalawo' are just not up to it in terms of knowledge.
Would you castigate yourself (If you are Igbo) because of the phrase "Dibia" which is the exact word for Babalawo (Native Physician/medicine man in Igbo language!).
Again, we must note that films have to sell and it is not unusual to "exaggerate" the plot of the babalawo so that fans can buy the film.
Some even thought "Fadeyi-Oloro" was real! shocked

i would like to hear other people's opinion and definition (for educational purpose only grin )
Cheers
just because i wanna understand how you use percentages metarphorically?
I guess if you asked me: Let me understand your use of the phrase: percentages metaphorically.

I would certainly explain what l meant (and l have done so in post #199)

But your posts #198, 200 and 202 are not questions, let us be honest. They were unprovoked insults.
If l had insulted you earlier and you did same to me, that would be fair enough but it wasn't even Ibime that insulted me (which l would grant him on the strength that we were in a conversation).

Accept my apologies for my insults to you. I wont try to justify them.
Thats not me, l wish to be ordinary, unknown and friendly with everyone on the forum.

BrownSuga,
no one is going to "Attack you"! For what? Just for stating your opinion? Naaah

Its a discussion forum, not a ring fight grin

BTW: What exactly do you consider as "juju"? I mean in your own understanding?

Maybe if we exchange ideas on this, we might get ourselves more understanding of our different perspectives, without the fight.

U know, u dont even deserve a response

All these crying more than the bereaved, just to get attention, is not going to get you a job.
I hate to engage in filthy language on a forum where exchange of opinions is the main objective but low-lifes like you draw out the bad side of people.

(and you dont need to pretend you weren't directing your insult at me since the quote Ibime responded to, was mine.)

Anyway, try and draw-out a list of who Ibime can chat with and cannot chat with.
I guess it was you that fed and educated him, so its your eternal right!

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Yoruba Movies Promote Babalawos? by lastpage: 5:10pm On May 17, 2010
Bee444,
A lot of peeps have cursed you over this title!
I guess it was undeserved though the title was "so sweeping" that people might take offense!

Now since you asked a question and l believe you did so with an open mind, not to ridicule a nationality, l will try to chip-in my own opinion, as l see it.

First, movies are mostly fiction but where they are not, they may be from a historical perspective.

"Babalawo" are as much of the Yoruba race just as "Dibia" are as much a part of the Igbo race
.

Now the phrase "Babalawo" has been used and given a "negative connotation" but in the real sense, as it was in the days of old, they are NATIVE PHYSICIANS, no more, no less.

Dont forget, it is very easy for people to disparage or ridicule that which they dont understand!

Before Christianity came to our land, we sure NEED/HAVE a way of solving our problems, dont we?

The Isrealites of Biblical days had Moses (what more can a Babalawo do than conjure up one snake that swallowed the Egyptian Snakes, point his "magic rod' and the red sea separates into two  smiley, or make a pronunciation and ALL his dissenters get swallowed in an earthquake?)

The word "Babalawo" is a Title given to people who the community believes can help them solve issues/problems that they have, especially when their level of comprehension is a long distance, to what he does or how he does it! To them, its like Magic!! (ignore the dupe-sters in Lagos for now)

I suspect you're a Christian, so l will use a lot of Christian analogy.
Remember when Joshua asked the SUN to stand still, so his army can finish their enemies? If some one did that today, wont we be right to call him a Babalawo, if the person is from the Yoruba race or an Igbo Dibia?

In the sense of doing or accomplishing that which seems ordinarily impossible, anyone could become or be tagged a Babalawo

God has "His ways" of passing knowledge to humans: Some Prophets dream( Joseph, Samuel), Some He speaks to directly (Moses, Jesus, Apostles), some He bestows with knowledge, to sort humans out. In some sense they are all "solution providers"
And if l were not informed, l simply tag them as Babalawos shocked

Even the "Whites" that gave us Christianity, have their own "Babalawo": people like Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Archimedes, e.t.c who invented what we are benefiting from, today! Electricity, Automobile, Carrier Ships, Telephone, Jet Planes, T.V and Computers, to mentiona few.
Funny thing is that in their days, some of them were persecuted, branded heretics (another derogatory term for Babalawo) and even killed by ignoramus like me and you with a lower faculty of reasoning and understanding compared to them!

Now, Yoruba films tries to reflect the Yoruba culture, among other things. It tries to revive the Yoruba prowess of old
.
For example, if you watch the film: Sango, it tries to portray a Yoruba deity that was very powerful as to command Thunder and lightning  and if you notice, our NEPA uses it as its symbol! (Guess thats why we dont have light, Sango has used-up all the electricity grin )

Now, dont make the mistake of thinking that "People that cherish their culture and traditions are not Godly"

Even in the Bible, God admonished the Isrealites not to mingle with the "heathens" so that they dont dilute their culture and traditions! HE even asked them not to marry from amongst the strangers! So, preserving one's culture is Godly, albeit the good part!

If you dont know who you are and where you came from, How can you know where you're going?

Again, dont fall into the trap that christian faith and culture are diametrically opposed!
Culture simply guided the people's way of life before Christianity came, just like the "Old Testament" guided the people before the "New Testament" came and you cant tell me that Apostle Paul is more acceptable than Abraham, the father of faith!

There are wrong things happening in Christianity today but that does not make everything about Christianity bad.
Same way, there are bad things that happened in Culture/Traditions in those days but that does not make the whole thing bad.

Finally, l can understand that we should not promote primitive/bad ideas of our culture (If thats your grouse).
As Christians for example, we cannot be promoting the despoliation of our enemies, as was the case in the days of the "Biblical Kings".

Same goes with our traditions and cultures, some Yoruba films cannot continue to glorify and amplify issues like "child sacrifice", evil permutations and what have you. These are not unique to Yoruba films after all, American films promote homosexuality, drug use, gun crime, e.t.c

I guess you will agree it is better to promote the good aspect of "Babalawo" (or you just detest them completely?! grin ).
Believe me, they have good sides, have saved millions of lives in the days when modern medicine was nowhere to be found and pestilence decimated the population.

Please fell free to "change channel" if you encounter an offensive depiction of a Babalawo
.

BTW: Do you now that there is a plant which "babalawo" uses to cure skin rashes? And he just squeezes the plant juice and rubs it on your kin and it would clear up  (No anti-biotic, no carcinogenic creams containing mercury et all!).
Do you also know there is another "Babalawo method" that can cure migraine headache, jut by saying a few "words" with the sufferer's head placed against a wall? No tablets/capsule, no side effects, no cost  grin I know it sound unbelievable.
Now, that is "good babalawo" we should be promoting. Its real, believe me.

Cheers and love to ALL who can appreciate the good in our culture/traditions and do away with the bad side.

^^^^^^^So you are the one that would decide for Ibime, who he can chat with or not?
You just need an "excuse" to inject your filthy mouth, right?

Granted my figure wasn't made in the real sense of "mathematical percentages" as l was discussing with Ibime (l was using it metaphorically in the sense of devaluation to the tune of 3-times, from #100 to #30 ), which he rightfully pointed out.

Its not in doubt that peeps have the right, and are intelligent enough, to decide who they chat with .

@ODI & Udezue.
If commenting and analyzing situations as they appear is what you call "disparaging Igbos", l think you're wrong

BUT if "per-chance" l made comments that appear to disparage IGBOS, l tender an unreserved apology.
It should never be construed as intentional as l am not in that category of bigots who can not see people for what they are (descent humans) but as "ethnic this or that".

It will be wrong and will always be wrong for one person (you or me) to disparage a whole nationality, be it Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba or even the ethnic minorities.
I also dont buy your idea of using "foul, gutter language" to communicate your opinions.
I think l would still understand you, even better without such crude remarks.

Thats why we can claim to be "adults".
No beef, no grudges, just sharing ideas.

Haaaba Ibime!

So you are using January 2010, to compare to date? huh grin

Walahi, dont let those people that lost a lot of money in 2008 catch up with you in a dark alley!

Thats why l asked you your base year

As an analogy, if l made #100 profit in 2008, made #50 in 2009 and in January 2010. made #10 and by May 2010, my "profit-to-date" is #30, would that not be (according to Ibime's mathematics grin ) a 300% profit l have made this year?

Even though when we use 2008 as our base year, my loss is over 300%

YOU TRY.

That things are picking up, relative to January, in May is not in doubt, thats always the trend, year-in, year-out.
May is always better than January, business-wise and in any other way u can look at it. Even in 2008!

Naija stockmarket has grown at 40% this year alone.
Which year are you using as your "base-year" to compare the growth?

Sambo, VP Nominee dragged to EFCC over $17 billion fraud
advertisement
Namadi Sambo

The governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Namadi Sambo, who has been nominated to fill the vacant post of Vice President, has been dragged before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations of financial impropriety.

But Sambo who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Umar Sani, has dismissed the petition describing it as frivolous and lacking in credibility.

A Kaduna-based lawyer, Sadau Garba, petitioned the anti-graft body asking that the governor be investigated for allegedly misappropriating N153.6bn with the support of the state legislature.

A copy of the petition which was obtained by our correspondent on Saturday alleged among other things that the N1.2bn spent by the state government in hosting the U-17 World Cup championship was yet to be accounted for.

Nigeria hosted the championship in 2009 and Kaduna State was one of the states where the tournament was held.

The governor whose name has been forwarded to the National Assembly for consideration and confirmation as the Vice-President was nominated by President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday night after he had a meeting with Peoples Democratic Party governors.

He added that the petitioner needed to be examined to determine whether his claims had any substance.

But in the petition, Garba averred that the state obtained a $17.32m loan guaranteed by the Minister of Finance from the Islamic Development Bank, but that the loan was not captured in the 2009 budget as required by law.

He also accused security operatives of acting out the script of the state government by harassing him on account of the petition(
Its all about who really becomes the Guv'nor of Kaduna, not about some games that have concluded three yrs ago!
How come some Lawyers have completely lost it? Such a reputable discipline, in the past?

@Jaeeztech
@mojojojo; the truth is that the sensible ones on this forum will agree with you; the Ethnic-Bias ones either do not understand How things work or just decide to turn a Blind eye to the truth. May be we should remind them that they should go the Career pages of Institutions and check what their most important requirements are: Definitely foremost is Working Experience. Besides I thought this discussion was about Sanusi's reforms and not his personality but I guess they could not fault his reforms hence they ran away and started dwelling on his personality. I have challenged all "Anti-Sanusis" many posts ago to propose a better approach than what Sanusi did; given all what the CEOs did and status of the banks at the time. But none have responded yet!!TUFIAKA
The 'bolded' part refers:
First, l am not anti-Sanusi but l will like to state what/how l thought he would have done better, in reference to your post i.e a better approach.

Given: The Bank M.D's were fleecing everyone of us. Gross abuse of office, criminal manipulation and out-right forgery of year-end results. I know this on first hand, l had worked in the I.T department of banks for years before dis-engaging voluntarily.

Again, Given: Banking is all about investor confidence in the industry. Its is the confidence investors have that lead to wealth creation (as in when we say banks "create money"wink.
Once you SHAKE that confidence, investors would pull-out sharp-sharp and their would be a "run" on bank's deposits.

Given again: The global economy was slipping (or has slipped) into recession and its effect on consumer spending vis-a-viz savings and disposable income as it affects business and banking was a major factor that 'economic shapers" take into consideration in policy formulation and implementation hence, the "mega bail-outs" to stimulate spending and further wealth creation.

Having given the background against which Sanusi was operating as at the time of the banking reforms he undertook, he would have done better if:

1.) Instead of the "public show" that followed the "exposee" on categorization of some banks as FAILED Banks and some as "about to FAIL" on the T.V and Newspapers, he should have taken corrective action without the public even being aware of what was going-on.
Advantage is that the public will still have confidence in the banking industry and money/wealth will still flow as against the "run on funds" that we witnessed in some banks, which further killed them so much that some have to shed majority of their staff, InterContinental and Cecilia Ibru's Oceanic bank are examples.

2.) As the chief Security officer of the banking regulators, he should in like manner treat the issue of  what bank's M.D did and their open sack,  cautiously by
(a) quietly disengaging the M.D's in a "one-on-one" meeting tabling evidence of mismanagement and asking the concerned M.D for a letter of resignation and advising such to quietly hand-over (like they do with some coup plotters or people in sensitive offices in govt, (remember Tafa Balogun?).
(b) Once stability is achieved, prosecution of such M.D should then follow (After which, such prosecution would not have an adverse effect on the bank's business with the public

3.) Knowing that we are in a recession, the global trend by seasoned industry players is how to stimulate spending since people are "afraid to part with the little money they have", being not sure of their job security or which foreclosure may follow.
Such poorly managed "public sanitisation" (am not against the sanitisation itself) ended up making the economy to constrict further, as people held more unto their money, for the same reasons they do in a recession and fear of the unknown.
At times, to "achieve the opposite", Govt have been known to give an initial overly optimistic picture and then gradually revise it down, using another mouth-piece (E.g, when the U.S President say recession is gradually over, the Treasury secretary will follow later, in about a week, after the effect of the first pronunciation has worn out, to say that "we are not yet out of the woods grin its a balancing game but it achieves its aim).
But Sanusi "exposed" everything without due consideration to the "time of the day". It is "raw" to say the least.

4.)Again, by publicly drawing a LIST OF FAILED BANKS when the INVESTIGATION HAS NOT BEEN CONCLUDED ON CERTAIN BANKS created an uneven playing field. It gave
(i)an undue advantage to those banks whose examinations are yet to be concluded
(ii) It gave them the "time" to either perfect their "cookery of the books further" or to take some pre-emptive steps to favor themselves.
What am saying is that "such list should not even be public knowledge in a recession and if it must be drawn, it must be all-encompassing as at when drawn.
Some have argued that banks in which Northerners have majority interest were not part of the first salvo of examinations banks like Platinum/Habib Bank, First Inland Bank, Unity Bank, but while this may have been a co-incidence, it seems too coincidental for comfort but l am not one to subscribe to any conspiracy theory
5.) The foreign investors that he anticipated will come and buy the "toxic assets" of Nigerian banks were scared away by the same "policies of apparent instability" he instituted, in the sanitation exercise! Now he says Govt does not intend to sell any bank? Who will even buy them? Where is the money to throw on toxic assets when there is no money to buy pristine assets?

In summary, while Sanusi has done "something necessary" (i.e. sanitisation and sacking of the thieving bank M.D's), his timing, method and procedure has made a bad situation even worse
Those may have been his regrets.

I hope you will now understand why some people are furious and why Sanusi himself might look back in retrospect and think "l could have done better"!.

BTW: The EFCC MUST confiscate all the assets (both local and foreign)  of any bank M.D that has taken depositors fund for private use. This is only the time that justice is seen to have been done and as a deterrent to future "abusers of privilege"

Cheers & thanks.

Just to add my own to the "mix" of hullabaloo around herelipsrsealed

1.)Most Igbo commentators here-in have indicated their preference and invitation for the South-South to be part of a future Biafra (infact, one said S-South is an illusion!) The question that keeps coming back to my mind, each time these commentators "welcome" the Niger-Deltans, is: What is this Love and Romance with the South-South about? THEIR CRUDE OIL or they just love them for real? grin grin grin Pick your choice.

2.) During the discussion, some commentators have been trying to "scare the whole Nigeria" about what 'could' happen if Jonathan chooses Sambo as V.P.! What bothers me is that should these same Northern Muslims not be happy that Jonathan did not choose a Northern Christan? What would they have done if he actually picked the Deputy (Yekowa!)? Same peeps will start another story about how Christians have "dominated" everything! huh

Puzzle being that when it was expedient to "use" Yekowa to garner the Christian vote for the "Muslim Guv'nor (Sambo), Yekowa was "Okay" back then and now that providence (the same providence that is elevating a muslim Guv'nor to V.P) is elevating a Christian deputy toa Guv'nor, Nigeria is simply about to disintegrate shocked shocked Haaba, wetin?

3.) Let me comment on that apart about Yorubas fighting Igbos (or supporting the Hausas to fight the Igbos) as proposed by some posters.
Gone are the days (In Awolowo's days) when that would happen!
The Yoruba nation itself is receiving a "raw deal" from the current Nigerian state (remember that the most vocal proponent of Sovereign National Conference are Yorubas!) and Yorubas know and feel they would do better if devoid of the strangulating bond of "one Nigeria".

The Easterners want out, the S/South want out, The Westerners want out; What about the Northerners? Why dont they want out? Do they love Nigeria more than all other sum-of-parts? Or are they scared of the future? (No pun intended pls)

FYI: All regions can survive on their own only that some might need to re-configure their thinking and become more enterprising and globally proactive.

As for the minorities, none of them want to be with a domineering neighbor and as such, l dont see them willingly joining Biafra or the Northern Clique.
My guts tell me they would rather join (Mid-West) the West than go East or join another yoking alliance that would suck them of their natural resources. What would be the "situation" of a Kwara state for example, as part of a hegemonic North or an Akwa Ibom in Biafra? Of course, their best bet would be to stick together and stay by themselves though this would also expose them to "annexation" by stronger neighbors, except they form a strong military alliance but loose political alliance with one of the big three.

Finally, as foul as it may sound, The Northerners (Hausa/Fulani), especially the Muslims amongst them, must sit down and tell themselves some home truth.
The only thing still sustaining them TODAY is their domination of the Nigerian military establishment (remember what Dambazzau and his garrison commander did to Jonathan viz-a-viz smuggling our erstwhile President into Abuja?, Remember what happened during the Jos crisis and the role played by the military?) - but globalization, fight against terror and the current wave of Islamophobia (rightly or wrongly) - has diminished that effect so much that it will be inconsequential in an outright declaration of hostility between the North and other parts as l sense that the U.S and other European countries are looking for an excuse to stamp-out "Al-Quaeda" from Nigeria and hostility will present the perfect excuse (I cant see a powerful, Islamic nation that the North can rely upon? Even Russia, post 'cold-war' alliance, is reconsidering its suport for Iran!), moreso, the north does not have crude oil, if you get my drift!

Therefore, Northerners must sit down and address issues, discuss issues of common interest with their neighbors, for peaceful coexistence.
Northerners must adopt western education (After all, the Saudi Royal family has their children in the same western Universities and there is no point being more Catholic than the papacy) since that is the only vehicle of growth, right now.

Northern indigenes must also be ready to hold their leaders accountable, there is no point in declaring sharia in their state while maintaining a string of "delectable virgins" in their "State's Guest House in V.I. and Abuja! The same "Southerners" they preach against are the ones they spend their night with, in the most glorious romantic fantasy that would put ***** to shame! I dont want to mention that whereby Sharia has failed to amputate the hands of their thieving Guv'nors, EFCC is doing a better job! Wize-Up my people.

Having said all these, at times, l feel for Seun, who spent time and resources to put this site together (being not the only one that Nigerians visit to discuss Naija issues) but hoping it will be better than others, only to end up with infantile, childish and at best inferior jesters who cannot even put an article together other than make a few silly comments and fight each other in some baby-ish, ethnic and religious arm-wrestling!
Am sure the guy is wondering by now, how he could "sieve" such people from ever coming here or what others like NVS did, to attract the better brains and profile of contributors! embarassed
I feel you Seun, l really do.

Just my perspective, no offense intended and none should be taken.
Cheers.

@Dahbutter,
I dont know who sells Portakabin in Naija but l am just wondering if it could not be worth-your-while if you buy a 60ft container and ask welders to construct window/door openings into it, fix iron doors to it and windows and then use plywood/board to fix-t up to reduce heat then install a few split A/C units into it and finally, use half-level board-partitioning and there is your "sexy-looking portakabin, well painted with wall pictures and flowers to suit grin
Seriously, its what l've seen folks who use it as shops, do.

Well, if you be real "big-boy" and you want to send me on errand grin l can do the leg-work and stand inside the sun, for a few bucks! wink
I know wan quote contract for you, dat one go cost u no be small shocked grin wink

Give your self the challenge, saves you money, gives you experience and who knows, you may be the first foreign-based supplier of ready-made Portakabin to boys like us grin

I guess what "complicated" Ibori's case was the story about him and that River's Gov. sponsoring a so-called "war chest" to perpetuate our ill, former President in office (using the mythical cabal) when it was clear that his health was at a critical stage.

One thing in Politics is that you have to be a bit clairvoyant, align with the right forces but do it in a subtle manner just in-case your card does not fly!

Only a stupid fly follows the dead body enter the grave, abi?
Imagine, all those people that where directly and indirectly insulting Jonathan (Rilwan Lukman, Anaconda, Dambazzau, Segun Adeniyi, e.t.c)?
Na one-by-one GJ go dey show dem pepper (except they show some late respect)

The position of President is heavy/powerful in our Politics and you cant just rubbish the 'occupier' even if its a 5yr old!

BTW: can someone pls post "authentic source" of this "Ibori's bail story" so we can talk on substance instead of guesswork?

^^^^^^Na so u like me reach? cry crygrin
Naaaah, currently in U.K, West Sussex area.

I am planning to land Lagos in a few weeks time and am wondering how l am going to ensure l dont miss my footie!
Am still looking for help on which STBox to buy for Lagos?
From discussions between "gurus" like you, George, Olofofo, e.t.c l am leaning towards "Starsat" or "Strong" but not sure which is better in the long run. I wouldn't mind spending a little extra just to get something less stressful as "Madam" is in on the gist as well grin

From my own little experience, apart from getting the correct alignment on your dish, l think he choice of box is the next crucial thing. Am l right?

And l am amazed at those DIY "engineering" that George did in Season 3 or early season 4! Shows loadz of ingenuity.

Honestly, u guys are "Da Bomb"!

CyberG,
Since Primary school days, l can still remember being told "Knowledge is POWER"!
In corollary, IGNORANCE is WEAKNESS!!

Now, can we seek why the Nigerian polity is WEAK?

Can we see why there cant be an Orange revolution in Naija?

Look at Philippines today?
Look at Greece today?

Yet their leaders did not rape them like our own demented, serial rapists called Poli-trick-cians do, and will still continue to do! cry cry

No wonder we were 'tagged' the happiest people in the world! grin
There is BLISS IN IGNORANCE! angry angry shocked

Just imagine what all those stolen Billions of Dollars could have done in the life of Nigerian Children and Youths? Just dream, for a minute!

*scratches bald-head and reaches for another can of Guinness* embarassed embarassed
