This is where the TSA (Single Treasury Account) comes-in.
All Budgeted Money (for spending) and Receipts of Govt goes into that single Account and EVERY AGENCY or STATUTORY GOVT BODY (Like NASS, Police, Customs, e.t.c) draws their expense from that account while they also pay govt income into same account.

While l was annoyed with those who fixed the "percentage" of the company that provided that service, (for lack of foresight not to have envisaged a kind of phased/graded approach), l think it is the best way to go.

The problem with bodies like NASS that are so much "enmeshed in fraud and criminal, self-appropriation" is that they dont want any form of transparency, which they know the TSA will expose, hence their vehement rejection of the TSA policy.

The TSA will ensure that every Kobo earned by the Govt, is paid into the account and SEEN by everyone.
In the same vein, every Kobo spent by Govt agencies/bodies will be accountable and monitored.

We must insist on the TSA.

I concur with you but l want to raise the following points:

1.) why (if true) should what was printed by Senator Ita Enang, be different from what the president presented on plenary?
Is this "intentional fraud" on the part of the Senator or just a mistake

2.) Why are the Senators refusing to state "exactly and clearly" to Nigerians, what these observed differences are? Are they trying to be complicit or want to take advantage?

3.) Asking for a "Soft Copy" means the Senate does not trust the Executive to give them exactly what is promised! This is a disgrace on our National Assembly. If there is a difference, simply point it out openly and demand it be corrected and re-presented.

4.) Is the Senate also trying to manipulate the document by trying to work on the "electronic copy" (source document)? What stops them from changing figures here and there and claiming that it is what was sent to them?
What is the necessity of trying to print it for yourselves from the electronic copy, if such electronic copy cannot be made public?
It appears there is a lot of criminality going on between Ita Enang and the National Assembly members.

Finally, l will suggest President Buhari make the Budget available on the Govt Website/portal so that anyone can download it from there.
This will put all these dubiousness to rest!

Corruption is so "deep-rooted and pervasive" in Nigeria that it will take the grace of God to see one or two Judges with integrity.
One needs to ask why it is that "it is now" that this judge just woke up to know that Magistrates cannot entertain Armed robbery cases when the "common man" is being sentenced for such offences at the same courts, over the last thirty years?

Now that it affects a BIG MAN, the Judge simply "regained" his senses, right?

It would have been better if the Govt can set-up a SPECIAL CORRUPTION COURT that is free from the shenannigans of our corrupt Judges but l am sure that since our National Assembly is also full of criminals, they would "shiver" at such thought and would not append their hand to it, rather they would be more interested in a media bill to gag the exposure of their criminality!

The fact remains that "under certain circumstances", the CERTAIN FUNDAMENTAL LIBERTIES AND RIGHTS of individuals are SUSPENDED.
For example, when countries declare a state of emergency, fundamental liberties of citizens are 'rightly' suspended, to allow security forces to deal with the emergency situation at hand.
This happens everywhere, recently in France after the attacks, in America after 9/11, in Britain after the 7/7 attack, e.t.c.
The citizens of these countries rally round the Govt of the day (irrespective of political affiliations) because they understand that "the Country comes first and above everyone".
That is PATRIOTISM, ....as against the TREACHERY and TREASONOUS behaviour of some Nigerians, based on tribal and political considerations.

*Fact is, some of these girls have been brain-washed to become Suicide bombers for boko haram]

The President has said he would not rest until the girls are found, dead or alive.
The Nigerian Army is marching forward in its effort to rout Boko haram who kidnapped the girls under Jonathan's watch.
All efforts and resources are "already deployed" in this direction.


QUESTION IS: What is this Abuja rally by the 60 Parents supposed to achieve, that are NOT ALREADY BEING ADDRESSED?

I would advice the Parents, if they have anything useful to "assist the Govt" in the quest to find their daughters, they should pass such information to the appropriate quarters....... instead of constituting themselves into "additional nuisance", at the behest of the opposition!

Nigerians know what they went/are still going through but "Marches and Placard-Carrying" WILL NOT ADD ANY VALUE to the current effort to find the girls........ IT CAN ONLY BE A DISTRACTION!

I beg them to quietly go back home, pray and gather information that can help the army trace and recover their daughters.
