During Jona's regime, a certain aviation minister alongside the then head of school of aviation, also Igbo, made desperate attempts to move the NCAA from Zaria to Enugu. It took the intervention of numerous northern elites to halt the move.
When Dora was made information minister, she also made attempts to move the National Film Institute from Jos to Enugu. The indigenes had to protest to have the decision rescinded.
People are suspicious of the Igbo man for justifiable reasons; he sees everyone else as undeserving of anything.

See some of the other things that happened during the trial. THE TRIAL.... continued
On September 4, Lekwot and six others were charged in a new 22-count indictment, which included a charge of culpable homicide, punishable by death. Lekwot was also accused of distributing guns and ammunition to a riotous group and inciting a group of Katafs to violence. In December, virtually all the charges were dropped except that of culpable homicide.
During the second trial, Justice Okadigbo repeatedly demonstrated his bias against the defendants to the point of reportedly terrorizing the defense attorneys, the defendants and spectators. His improprieties included telling the defendants during the trial that there would be "gnashing of teeth" on the day of judgment, and threatening to jail defense lawyers if he did not like their lines of inquiry.
On September 29, the leading defense counsel, Chief G. O. K. Ajayi, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, threatened to withdraw from the proceedings which, according to him, had become "impossible from the point of view of the defense."
Mr. Graham-Douglas, one of the Christian members of the Tribunal, resigned early in the proceedings, giving the reason that the other Tribunal members met privately without him and gave judgments on cases they had heard together without seeking his opinion.
In late October, defense lawyers went before a Kaduna High Court to seek an injunction restraining the Tribunal from further handling the case because the defendants were unlikely to receive a fair trial. The Kaduna High Court refused to grant the injunction on the grounds that it lacked jurisdiction over the case.
The ruling was upheld by the Court of Appeal on November 20, 1992. The defense then took their case to the Supreme Court.
However, on December 1, while the case was pending before the Supreme Court, the government promulgated Decree 55 of 1992, which removed the authority of the regular courts, including the Supreme Court, to hear any case regarding any abuse of constitutionally guaranteed rights by the Tribunal and in all other cases involving military decrees. According to Decree 55, constitutionally guaranteed rights may be obviated by military decree. https://www.hrw.org/sites/default/files/reports/NIGERIA933.PDF |

xtreemk: SOUTHERN KADUNA: WHO ARE THE REAL VICTIMS?
Muhammad Auwal Abu Suhaib Jama’a town was founded by the Muslims in 1804 under the Ruler ship of Malam Usman Yabo and similarly Zango town by the Hausa Muslims traders. Therefore, the crises in the region is a grand design to completely wipe-out the Muslims and Muslim Communities in the area by the Christians Militias taking advantage of their numerical strength. It is important to note that, the Districts of Zangon Kataf, Kachia, Kagarko and Chawai referred to as at then as Southern Zaria were under Zazzau Emirate until the creation of Chiefdom by the administration of Colonel Lawal Ja’afaru Isa in 1995 and the additional by Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi in 2001.
Details of some these crises were given below:
(1) 1987 Kafanchan Violence, 19 Muslims killed,Many wounded and property worth N78,537,768.94 destroyed. Instigators are (i) Rev Abubakar Bko (ii) Capt Manya (iii) Fellowship of Christian students (iv) Mrs Ladi Lekwot and others,
(2) 1992 Zangon Kataf Genocide against Muslims,1,533 Muslims massacred, thousandth wounded and property worth N207,658,560.00 destroyed. The planners and executors were: Gen Zamani Lekwot, Mal B.A.D Gora,. Mr J.B.Ayok and many Christians and political leaders.
Gen Lekwot and 5 others were found guilty and sentenced to death but was not carried out. Stop spreading lies and falsehood. Maj-Gen Zamani Lekwot did NOT instigate any crises. He was framed. Ask Col. Yohana Madaki who was assigned to defend him at the trial. And your one-sided recital is trying to portray the Christians as instigators of the crises, when they are most definitely NOT the ones who started it. How come none of the Muslim instigators were included in your list? And how come none of the Muslims involved in the violence were tried and sentenced for their role, during the attacks? Didn't they bear arms? Didn't they shoot to kill? Or was it Christians that were fighting among themselves? Is that what you want people to believe?? Let everyone read this report. NIGERIA MILITARY INJUSTICE | Major General Zamani Lekwot and Others Face Government-Sanctioned Lynching | Volume 5, No. 4 | March 30, 1993
Fifteen Nigerians are currently imprisoned, awaiting death by hanging for their supposed participation in ethnic/religious riots in Kaduna State, in northern Nigeria, in May 1992. The death sentences were delivered by two Special Tribunals that tried some 70 suspects alleged to be involved in the riots. All constitutional guarantees were suspended for the trials, and there is no right of appeal.
The farcical proceedings threaten to culminate in a government-sanctioned lynching. None of the trials even approached the stringent due process requirements for the imposition of the death penalty that are established by international standards.
The case of a group of six of those sentenced to death has attracted particular international attention in part because of the distinguished record of one of its members, retired Major General Zamani Lekwot, who was military governor of Rivers State in southern Nigeria in the 1970s and later held the title of Ambassador-at-Large to Mauritania, Senegal, Cape Verde and Gambia. The trial of the six, before Benedict Okadigbo, a retired judge, was characterized by an extraordinary level of abuse, including blatant bias and hostility by the judge, a presumption of guilt and inadequate access to counsel. A number of factors point to the involvement of Nigeria's military government, led by President Ibrahim Babangida, in ensuring the convictions of the Lekwot group. Most significant is the promulgation of a military decree that barred any court from inquiring into abuses of constitutionally guaranteed rights that occurred during the trial.
Human rights attorney Chief Mike A. A. Ozekhome, president of the Universal Defenders of Democracy, a recently formed human rights group based in Lagos, has challenged the death sentences on the grounds that Lekwot and the five others did not receive a fair trial. The suit has secured a stay of the executions until March 31.
BACKGROUND
Political, ethnic and religious factors all contributed to the riots and the subsequent arrests, convictions and death sentences. Nigeria's tightly controlled transition to civilian rule has forbidden Nigerians from forming parties of their own choice, including any parties based on ethnicity or religion. In denying Nigerians a legitimate arena for the promotion of interests based on ethnicity, the government has driven these ambitions underground. This has heightened tensions among the country's more than 250 ethnic groups, which often see themselves as competing for political power.
In Kaduna State, as in northern Nigeria as a whole, the Hausa-Fulani ethnic group is the largest and most politically powerful. The Katafs are one of the ethnic Christian minorities in the north, of which General Lekwot is a member and for whom he has been for years a vocal leader and organizer. Zango-Kataf, inhabited by both Hausas and Katafs, has been a center of tension ever since colonial days. It is there that violence erupted in 1992.
Disagreements between the Hausas and Katafs over land ownership date back at least a century. Katafs claim that Hausas are settlers on their land, which the Hausas deny. Katafs resent the regional political system, a holdover from the colonial era, which vests authority over non-Muslims in Muslim leaders. The Katafs and other non-Muslim ethnic groups in the north have been demanding for years that they be allowed to elect a local chief of their choice. This right continues to be denied them.
A precursor to the May devastation occurred in February 1992, when approximately sixty Hausas and Katafs died in communal violence. The immediate cause of the conflict was a plan to move the local marketplace from the center of the Hausa district to a site where the Katafs were in the majority. Political analysts stress that a struggle for political power in light of the impending hand-over to democratic rule was also an important factor in the violence.
Katafs were irritated by several procedural issues surrounding the seven-person commission of inquiry established to investigate the violence. They complained that Kaduna Governor Dabo Lere appointed a majority of Muslims to the Commission, thereby weighting it against the Katafs. They also objected to the shift in the venue of the commission from Zongwa, the Zango-Kataf local government council headquarters, to Kafanchan, a larger city nearby, and finally to the city of Kaduna, capital of Kaduna state, where Muslims are the majority.
Both Muslims and Christians criticized the government's inadequate response to the crisis. After the February violence, Isa Kaita, a former federal minister and respected Muslim, and Kaduna's Archbishop Peter Jatau led meetings to help resolve problems between Christians and Muslims. They recommended that joint Christian-Muslim committees be formed at all levels of government to resolve problems and sent the recommendations to President Babangida, but no government action was taken.
In mid-May, the violence spun out of control when a number of Katafs engaged in what was apparently a killing spree against the Hausas in Zango-Kataf. The violence spread to the cities of Kaduna, where some of the wounded were transported, and also to another large city, Zaria, also in Kaduna State.
In those cities the violence took on a more overtly religious--rather than ethnic--tone, with Hausa Muslims apparently attempting to avenge the killings in Zango-Kataf by attacking Christians irrespective of their ethnic identity.
The government claimed that fewer than 300 died, but others contend that thousands lost their lives. Calm was restored on May 20. On May 22, the governor, without legal authority, dissolved the Zango-Kataf local government and appointed a sole administrator, Mallam Haruna Zok, to oversee the area. https://www.hrw.org/sites/default/files/reports/NIGERIA933.PDF THE TRIAL
On May 18, the Federal government established the Zango-Kataf Civil and Communal Disturbances Tribunal in Kaduna City, with powers to try those allegedly involved in the bloodshed. In addition to the Chairman, Justice Okadigbo, the other six members were: Godwin Alaye Graham-Douglas (Senior Advocate of Nigeria), Alhaji Aminu Malumfashi, Hajia Tani Yusuf, Otunba A. Adeleke Adedoyin, Colonel Yusuf Abubakar and Mustapha Wali. The composition of the Tribunal, which includes five Hausas, four of them Muslim, led to a wide perception of bias against Lekwot and the five others.
General Lekwot was arrested on May 18, sent to Kuje Prison, nearly 200 miles away, and detained incommunicado under Decree 2, which provides for virtually unlimited detention without charge or trial. After pressure from human rights organizations and others, Lekwot and five other Kataf leaders were arraigned on July 29 before the Tribunal and charged with unlawful assembly with intent to subjugate the Hausa community in Zango-Kataf. Both before and during the trial, the defendants were held in abysmal conditions in Kaduna prison, where they were not allowed access to their families or attorneys. According to Mike Ozekhome, the human rights attorney, the government violated its own military laws in establishing the Zango-Kataf Tribunal. Civil Disturbances Decree 53 of 1987, which provides the legal basis for the Tribunal, requires the government to establish a commission of inquiry and conduct investigations before bringing charges. That requirement was ignored when the Zango-Kataf Tribunal was established.
The trial was subject to obvious political influence. In August, when it became apparent that there was insufficient evidence to convict Lekwot and the others, the prosecution filed a motion not to pursue the case. Meanwhile, however, as reported by the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights, a Nigerian human rights group, the politically powerful Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki, and other prominent Hausa-Fulanis publicly demanded that those responsible for the Zango-Kataf riots not be spared.
Apparently in response Justice Okadigbo, in ordering that Lekwot and the others be released, said that the "police would have to do their duty." The six were immediately rearrested on the Tribunal premises and placed in incommunicado detention in Kaduna Prison. He is a pretentious joker who goes around parading himself as a pseudo-intellectual, in his misguided bid to be taken seriously. His stock in trade is propaganda. You can see the way he has been throwing tantrums up and down on this thread. Anyone who does not agree with his warped view is Afonja, even if such a person is Gwari, Ibibio, Kataf, Itsekiri or Jukun. Read this excerpt below, and you will see that Awolowo's victory which was attributed to 'cross-carpeting,' tribalism or an ousting of Zik, was untrue. Some fringe parties in the SW came together to give their votes to Awo. The Western NCNC supported Zik till the end. In the first place,Zik never wanted to assume the position of Head of Government Business in the Western Region in 1952 as alleged. Evidence abound that all that Zik wanted was to install an NCNC government in the Western Region and then proceed to the central (national) Legislature in Lagos as decided by the NCNC national executive committee.
Secondly, the “famous carpet-crossing saga” is usually somewhat over-stretched and has been used to foist inter-ethnic misunderstanding between the Igbo and the Yoruba. It is not true that Yoruba NCNC parliamentarians abandoned Zik on the floor of the Western House of Assembly and crossed over to Awolowo’s side as often painted.
The truth is that five members of the six elected parliamentarians from the Ibadan Peoples Party, IPP, led by Adisa Akinloye (and some other fringe groups) tilted the balance in Awolowo’s favour by teaming up with the Action Group, AG; the sixth member, Adegoke Adelabu, joined forces with the NCNC to form the NCNC-Mobalaji Grand Alliance.
For too long, many Igbos have been deceived into believing that the Western NCNC abandoned Zik and that the Yoruba are therefore a bunch of shifty, non-trustworthy people that are unworthy of strategic (political) alliance. Far from this, the Western NCNC stood solidly behind Zik to the bitter end.... http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/07/zikeyo-ita-face-off-aladinmas-misrepresentations/ |

Nigeria was already on the path of war even before 1966, violence was prevalent especially in Western Region.
What causes a war is the same thing that causes a fight, the inability of two or more people to reason like adults and reach a compromise that does not include fighting.
That was what Gowon and Ojukwu met in Aburi to avoid. The met, discussed for two days and reached an agreement which both signed. The went back home and there was peace. War became inevitable when Gowon could not live up to his side of the agreement.

The 24-year-old, who lives in Mayfair, said she was only five minutes into her eight-hour shift when her boss told her to leave.
Company UNIT TV, based on Great Marlborough Street, accepted the incident happened and have since dismissed the employee who was allegedly involved, who had only been working there for three months.

Something happened that they are hiding. It is either: 1). The girl was totally unfit for the job, because she performed poorly or lacked the skills to carry out her assignments; 2). Her boss tried to date her, and she turned him down. In retaliation, he cooked up some silly excuse and decided to relieve her of her appointment. |

Crime › Re: How Radical Student Stabbed Unilag Vc In 1965 by laudate: 11:45pm On Feb 23, 2017*. Modified: 1:52pm On Feb 24, 2017 |
Kanyeti: Kayode Adams was a student activist at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in the mid-sixties.This was a period when the Federal Government removed Prof. Eni Njoku as the first Vice- Chancellor of the institution and replaced him with Prof Saburi Biobaku. The students’ protested against the decision and in the process, Adams stabbed the new VC when he assumed office in 1965. He was tried by a Lagos High Court and he pleaded insanity as his defence. FRANCIS FAMOROTI, Head, Judiciary reports.
.....A radical student activist identified as Adams surged forward from the crowd and stabbed him on the back, ostensibly in protest against Njoku’s removal. The VC fell and was promptly rushed to the university medical centre. Adams was immediately arrested by the Police. There was tension in the university and this incident resulted in the closure of UNILAG for months.
.... As it were, after Biobaku’s medical treatment, he returned to UNILAG and served his tenure without any further hitch. It was learnt that Adams died mysteriously some years later. Since that unfortunate incident occurred 49 years ago, the university has never again witnessed any physical attack on its past and present VCs.
In fact, Biobaku left as the UNILAG VC in 1971. Another historian, Prof. Jacob F. Adeniyi Ajayi took over from him and served between 1972 and 1978. Thereafter, Prof. Kwaku Adadevoh was appointed the VC from 1978 to 1980. Prof. Akin Adesola took over in 1981 and served till 1988 when Prof. Nurudeen Alao succeeded him. The later left as VC in 1995. Prof. Jelili Adebisi Omotola became the VC in 1995 and served till 2000 while Prof. Oyewusi Ibidapo- Obe took over from him and he completed his term in 2007. Other VCs are, Prof. Tolu Odugbemi: 2007-2010; Prof. Babatunde Adetokunbo Sofoluwe 2010-2012 and Prof. Rahmon Ade Bello who assumed office in 2012 and he is still occupying the VC ‘s office till date. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, the doctor who prevented Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian-American man infected with the deadly Ebola virus from leaving the hospital, and ended his quest to spread the virus in Lagos, was the daughter of former Unilag VC Professor Babatunde Kwaku Adadevoh (deceased) of the Adadevoh family of Anyako Royal House, Ghana and the Crowther/Macaulay family of Lagos, Nigeria and Deborah Regina McIntosh of the Nnamdi Azikiwe (President of Nigeria 1963-1966) and Smith/Wilkey families of Lagos, Nigeria. She gave her life to prevent the death of millions and slipped into eternity on August 19th 2014. May her soul rest in peace. Professor Akin Adesola who later served 2 terms as VC of Unilag, was said to be the most urbane, charming and approachable VC the institution ever had. Student unrest declined drastically, and his easy-going style endeared him to the students. Peace reigned during his tenure. His successor Professor Nurudeen Alao was the one who came in and sought to "islamise" the school. Under his tenure, the wearing of hijab was launched and Muslim students took an active part in Students' Union activities. Their religious activities were also given centre stage, and a call was made to segregate the car park of the mosque from the carpark of the chapel. Both buildings stood next to each other, and under Adesola's time, worshippers could park anywhere they wanted. All that changed with Alao. The first casualty of his reign was the Mr. Unilag & Miss Unilag contests, which were suspended without a good reason. Luckily, his successors and other subsequent VCs were less strict. Prof. Jelili Adebisi Omotola became the VC in 1995 (may his soul rest in peace!) made staff welfare his priority and launched the Unilag Staff Housing Scheme both in Magodo and Awoyaya area in Lekki, during his tenure. Under Prof. Sofoluwe and Prof. Ibidapo-Obe, Unilag car parks were turned into revenue generating schemes under a 'park-and-pay' scheme. Even with the ones that surrounded the hostels. The students found a way round it however. They offered to give the carpark attendants a percentage of the full fee, if they could turn a blind eye to their antics and give them access to a space. Shops were built on open spaces and efforts were made to increase the number of classrooms and academic blocks. Today, the school is overbuilt and the large expanse of greenery and open spaces have been taken over by different structures. Its' structural beauty is slowly declining and something needs to be done about it. |

Nairaland General › Re: Valentine PROMO - Dana Air Launches 15,300 Fares by laudate: 10:51pm On Feb 23, 2017 |
supomi: Dana Air launches two sweet initiatives....
As fares keeps skyrocketing in the aviation industry occasioned by operational challenges, Dana Air has taken a step to ease the pain of travelers by launching a perfect valentine promo.
Also, the airline has launched additional flights to Port Harcourt mtcheew... Nothing can make me fly Dana Air again. Their customer service desk is one of the most chaotic, that I have ever come across. I remember one time in Abuja when everyone was struggling to get seats out of the city on a Friday evening, to Lagos. We had all paid for our tickets, only for them to tell us at the counter that there were no more seats. Immediately, they added an extra surcharge to their fares, for those who wanted to be put on the waitlist, in case seats became available. Come and see how people were rushing to pay extra money to Dana, in the hope that they would still be able to board the plane. Okay, after waiting for about 3 hours, the plane finally arrived and we boarded. Only for us to discover that the entire plane was half-empty. Yet, they had given us a false impression that it was over-booked, and even made two-thirds of us to pay extra money, to secure seats. When they now told us after boarding, that we would still have to wait another hour to get more passengers, come and see how people on board lambasted them. No one told them, before their pilot shut the doors and took all of us with the half-empty seats to Lagos. |
TV/Movies › Emeka Mba, Former DG Of NBC Last Days In Office & The Digital Switch Over Issue by laudate(op): 5:59pm On Feb 23, 2017 |
Despite the fact that Emeka Mba the former Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) carried out his assignment in a commendable manner, there are some disgruntled elements who are bent on tarnishing his reputation. The question is why? A look at Mba, former DG of NBC last days in office and the Digital Switch Over | March 14, 2016 | IT PULSE MAGAZINE.
The last days of Emeka Mba, former DG of NBC was turbulent, owing to his arrest and subsequent detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on alleged N15 billion fraud within the commission. In this report, Martin Ekpeke takes a look at how Mba piloted the affairs of NBC and the now controversial Digital Switch Over.
The activities of the former Director General of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Mr. Emeka Mba have been seen as innovative; especially the way he liberalized issuance of broadcast licenses; thus, the rise in number of radio and TV stations across the federation.
At the last count, Nigeria presently has over 410 Radio and Television stations spread across the country. These exclude the over 30 Internet Radio stations, which are currently broadcasting.
Again, the way and manner he anchored the funding of the Digital Switch Over process at the time the federal government appeared handicap as a result of the paucity of fund shows thoughtful leadership, worthy of emulation by other government agencies and parastatals.
Nigeria was unable to meet its international obligation to transit from analogue to digital broadcasting. Nigeria could not meet the July 2015 deadline set by the International Telecommunication Union, an arm of the United Nations, which Nigeria is a member.
This was due partly to the huge burden on the economy emanating from the 2015 elections, which was around the corner, and the pressures of the war against Boko Haram.
But in his thoughtful leadership, the former Director General of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Mr. Emeka Mba looked at a proposal from Technology Advisors, a leading ICT Law Firm in the country and a dedicated DSO funding platform was developed on the basis of the free and available broadcasting spectrum, which by law is under the administration of the NBC.
The express approval by former President Goodluck Jonathan to issue the licencing of spectrum covered not only the utilization of the proceeds realized for DSO, but also the format of the special auction to be conducted for the license, as well as the provisioning of set-top-boxes (STBs), providing STB rebates, DSO publicity and other critical aspects of the DSO. MTN Communications Limited, who made the highest bid offer in the special auction process, was later licensed by the NBC and the proceeds were immediately put to use as directed by the former President in order to meet the new regional DSO deadline set by the West African States.
At this point, industry stakeholders began to appreciate the innovation and wisdom of the NBC under the leadership of Emeka Mba, which was immediately recommended by the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) for other nations battling with the funding of their DSO to meet the new regional DSO deadline set by the West African States.
With the understanding that Nigeria was about to create the largest digital free television network in the world with a known 26million television households, the government also approved a household set top box rebate assistance scheme, for the most vulnerable families across the country, in order to ensure that economically disadvantaged families are not cut off from watching television when the analogue switch off occurs.
The NBC in consultation with all relevant stakeholders involved in the DSO, including the licensed set top box manufacturers agreed to the STB rebate scheme financing, with the NBC provides the necessary ‘off taker guarantees’ to all the STB manufacturers through Zenith bank for the offshore manufacture and delivery of STBs for the pilot DSO launch in Plateau State.
THE ALLEGATION THAT BEING CANVASSED BY POORLY INFORMED ANALYSTS THAT THE EFCC HAS RECOVERED THE SUM OF N34BN PAID BY MTN FOR SPECTRUM, AND WAS ALLEGEDLY STOLEN OR MISMANAGED ARE FALSE AND WITHOUT FOUNDATION.
Industry watchers are aware that the major reason the guaranty was instituted was to ensure that the STB manufacturers were assured that their investment in importing STBs for the Jos DSO pilot and establishing manufacturing plants locally in Nigeria would be safe; and to ensure that government funds were not paid up front to anyone who may end up receiving the funds and frittering it away.
It was a win-win situation designed to guarantee the availability of the product and the security of the government funds. The off-taker guarantees and also covers the cost of the provision of the digital content access fee (DCAF) for all the STBs by the authorized middleware provider (Inview Limited).
Part of the innovative plan was that the DCAF was to be used for activation of each STB and would be ploughed into a broadcasting fund for maintenance of the digital infrastructure, provide training for professionals in the industry, creation of digital content, and provides support to owners of some thematic channels such as children’s programming.
Stakeholders following the DSO have argued that it is absurd for anyone to allege that the NBC defied the Federal Government’s directive on the Treasury Single Account (TSA) by diverting funds from the proceeds of the licence fee.
Investigations have revealed that the NBC had with appropriate approvals entered necessary agreements with Zenith bank and the authorized STB manufacturers for the bank guarantees on the manufacture of the STBs, without which it would be impossible to achieve the digital switchover. A portion of the DSO fund was already encumbered through the bank guarantees provided for authorized STB manufacturers before the TSA directive took effect. It is a known fact that the rest of the funds were swept into the TSA by the bank.
In an interview with a Lagos based telecom expert, Dr. Lanre Omololu, he told journalists that “The former Director General of NBC, Emeka Mba, is a known agent of positive change and a proactive person who is even needed in this present government if am asked”.
He said Mba transformed the broadcast regulation at NBC and liberalized the industry for accelerated development.
Another ace broadcaster and opinion leader in the sector, Alhaji Garba Rano said Mr. Mba enabled the industry to grow and become a key contributor in several international content markets such as MIPCOM, MIPTV, DISCOP, CABSAT and a host of others.
To him, “These platforms created foreign partnerships and attracted foreign investments in the broadcasting industry. Alhaji Rano added that the NBC received several local and international awards while Mba was at the helm of affairs. He argues that it was his presence that provided confidence and attracted several foreign investors into the industry, and elevated several senior staff members to Directorship even when some of his predecessors refused to do the same.
“Emeka changed the NBC website, which got the Philips Consulting Award last year in Lagos and also brought about more professionalism in broadcast regulatory practice through reformative regulations and industry research,” he stress further. odimbannamdi: Your point is very valid.
A woman who is described as being menopausal now has had over 30years of being fertile and able to get pregnancies normally. It is absolutely her fault that she didnt get pregnant when she should (at least, in our morally bankrupt time, a woman can get pregnant without being pregnant)
Artificially inciting menopausal women to carry pregnancies, to me, is not morally right and bodily healthy.
Nature should be allowed to take its course. Science should be channel its efforts towards achieving feats like resurrection from the dead biko Pregnancy is NOT a product that a person can automatically pick off a shelf, or order on a whim whenever it is needed. It is a process. and sometimes this process gets delayed, or it simply does not happen through no fault of the woman, who longs for it. So what do you mean by saying: "A woman who is described as being menopausal now has had over 30years of being fertile and able to get pregnancies normally. It is absolutely her fault that she didnt get pregnant when she should.." How can you say it her fault that she didn't get pregnant when she should??! Are you the one that created her body??! Or do you have the secret manual about how it works??! |
