I have often been asked by christians and muslims that I am acquainted with that if I want christians and muslims to stop their preaching then I too should lay an example by not trying to convert people to my own traditional theology. I always answer them that I am asking everybody to go back to their traditional theology. God created and established human cultures complete with theology and those theologies are more or less thesame in principle. I am like the Japanese who despite not being aborishas are supporting the ifa heritage institute in Oyo. The Japanese are Shintos but they see the aborishas are brethren under God, I am like the Japanese, I want the whole world. to return to the spiritual harmony that was before christianity and islam. Also, a cardinal principle of Hinduism is 'Do not try to convert others! let all human cultures thrive in their habitats where God established them!'.

A good way to reduce the economy's vulnerability to oil price fluctuations will be to rapidly diversify the economy and boost local production of substitutes.
Nigeria's GDP by PPP is over 1 trillion dollars and oil in it is less than USD 20 billion The USA has around USD 180 billion inside USD 16 trillion of GDP

... printing the naira and even hoard local currency. I have once said foreign oil buyers should buy in naira after changing their dollars in the free market like foreign produce buyers do but that will not solve the revenue short fall that leads to government printing money in the first place which causes inflation. The only way out is to relegate oil income to the background by taking income tax from the economy. . If Nigeria consumes USD 15O million a day and 30 percent is government controlled oil dollars then govt can cause inflation by printing money. Then like President Buhari's Govt, sell their own dollars cheaply causing a dual exchange rate. This Of Course is a dangerous game like playing with a man's Adam"s Apple. It needs to stop on Earth and it can only be stopped by ending natural resource dependency on the globe, by wholly formalizing all economies so that income tax becomes the main revenue source

There Are a number of nations where government income is mainly denominated in forex, mainly dollars. They sell natural resources to foreigners to raise revenue. If a nation's government is dependent on oil dollars, then the central bank will value the local currency according to how much oil dollars is streaming in. If a lot, the local currency will rise in value, if less, it will drop in value but if the dollar component of government revenue is not much, then the effect on the value of the local currency will be tangential like with Normay's Krone NIGERIAN EXAMPLE When oil dollar income drops in Nigeria, the CBN prints local currency to offset government's bill denomimated in Naira, this brings down naira value in the free market but government can sell their own dollars at a below market price or not at all since it is theirs hence the dual exchange rate in nations like Nigeria when such pressure mounts. Later When the pressure subsides and oil dollar income surpasses projections, they stop ...

Yes! I explained my view to you and you still keep bringing up the same topic. Do you think I discovered Paganism yesterday morning? I have been researching this topic for years now. I was born a Pagan. I live this religion. I have my reasons for not accepting Wicca as a bonafide Pagan faith. And its not just entirely to do with spirituality. There are multiple other reasons why I firmly know so and I do not intend to state here. Not now.

If you notice, the first thing I asked in this group is for conversants to state their tribe. I have a reason for this too.

And yet you keep repeatedly trying to force it into my mouth to accept wicca as a Traditional faith, when clearly I object to it.

I am not against it. Let them do as they please. it is not a harmful faith. However, I do not accept it as one of our own group. That doesn't mean I'm against it. I'm not for it either.
Ok then no problem

PoliticsThe Ogboni Veto by lawani(op): 4:16pm On Sep 23, 2017
All the members of an Ogboni assembly have veto power. It is similar to what obtains in the United Nations Security Council, where the five permanent members have veto power to block any resolution before the council. There is no vote counting in an Ogboni Assembly, there is no shouting at the top of your voice too. Things are resolved in a tete a tete manner. Any of France, Britain, Russia, China and the USA can stop any action or resolution by declining support and such a resolution would be effectively dead. That is veto power, no vote counting and it is what is obtainable in an Ogboni Assembly. Once an Ogboni elder is able to articulately show how a resolution is unfair to anyone anywhere on Earth or elsewhere, then the resolution will be immediately dropped like hot charcoal. That is similar to what obtains at the UNSC. No vote counting. It ensures a solemn kind of nation building.

Orunmila did it for the Yoruba tribe as its ancestor. A naturally evolved tribe from early proto-Congoid groups.
Into The pool of traditional theology wiccan has something to add. Even The Yoruba System is not uniform. Ifa is not uniform. Ultra Uniformity is for religion ie christianity and islam where they threaten dissidents with hell fire!

Gwahir A good soldier must know when to hide or when to run, When to surrender etc Moja Mose as the Yoruba Say. That was what ibadan knew. Ijebu Was hindering ibadan access to coastal trade, so ibadan neutralised them by allying with the brits. it was a color and even ethnicity blind arrangement. ijebu can not fight ibadan alone talk less of ibadan and Britain, Then the british showed no interest in colonising the yoruba until the yoruba leaders in the clergy, business and traditional rulership wrote the British to intervene in the civil war and that led to colonrsation. The odu that birthed ibadan is ose meji which means conqueror.

No its not! pure Pagans are those who practice the continued line of tradition from their ancestors. wicca is a made up rrconstructed and invented practice. Moreover Paganism is ethnic based. wicca adherents do not subscribe to this line.
We are small Gods. I could invent a whole nem way of communicating with the other side, then start teaching people and it would be valid and that was what Orunmila did with the 256 ifa codes. so the wiccans are ok.

Wiccan and Neo-Paganism are not pure Pagan religions. they are new age made up stuff. Europe, in particular "Western Europe" has largely lost its tribes and its old Pagan faiths.
Which One be pure pagan again abeg?. They have a theology based on the rudiments of the practices of their ancestors and they dont threaten unbelievers with hellfire. That is ok

Well this is the problem. because Africa is not the only continent with traditional religion. All the tribal world has Pagan religions be it Native Amerixan tribes, India, South Asia, the Far East, the Island tribes, etc.

Therefore it cannot be referred to African Traditional Religion alone. The world of Paganism isnhuge and to achieve its unity is paramount for world peace and stability.
You Seem to think europe has no traditional theology and thats wrong. Read Up on Wiccan.

Do you mean to claim that Tinubu, Fashola and Ambode are aborigines of Lagos State?

the British Protection Agreement For Ilorin Is With The Ajikobi Not Gambari. Hausas/Gambari are not allowed to be monarch in the majority of their own land, so Yoruba allowed someone a yoruba descended from Hausa to Be Emir In Ilorin. Tinubu And Ambode Are Indigenes Of Lagos whlie Fashola's Dad is probably buried in Lagos

I think Fmr Gov Tinubu is adopted son of the iyaloja of Lagos. Then Lagos is just a member of the Yoruba Country. The Oba is descended from Ologunkutere Son Of the Alagba Who came from Ijesa In Now Osun State. In Thesame Way you find Awori Descended people in ijesa

Christianity EtcAncient People Were Spiritually More Advanced Than Modern People. by lawani(op): 12:13pm On Sep 19, 2017
We tend to look down on olden days people as backward, dark age people. Our attitude towards their era is somewhat condescending. We view ourselves as more advanced in all ramifications. A friend once jokingly told me he views the olden days as times when day never broke!. He said 'I doubt if day used to break in those days!'. However if you consider the number of people living under the yoke of christianity and islam nowadays, people who live permanently under the palpable fear of Allah's or Jehovah's Hellfire, then you will realise that modern people are way below the level of spiritual advancement of pre religion peoples. Whether it be Celtic, Germanic, Turkic, Yorubic, Hindi, Chinese and etc people, pre religion people were very spiritual and they portrayed the Almighty and benevolent Father God as a gentle man. If ancient people had our level of knom how, they would certainly manage the Earth Much Better than we are doing. We need to realise we are lacking compared to pre religion peoples.

PoliticsThe Voice Of The Modern Opposition Can Be Still, Small And Effective by lawani(op): 1:29pm On Sep 17, 2017
For a business like nation building, Free of negative comedy and laxity, it is better to do away with institutional opposition to government. Everybody should be under thesame national umbrella, an amalgam of various social parties,, trade unions etc. There is need only for a still small dissenting voice to keep a nation from the path of derailment. A government of national unity should always be in place. If a nation is operating under the rigid law of 'Never be unfair to anyone anywhere on Earth' then all that nation needs as disseting opinion to keep her right always is a still small voice. Not institutional opposition. A still small passionate rational and consistent voice will soon draw people to itself to make sure a nation under the law of being fair to all will never derail. The CIA rules a nation like the USA, they just need to be less covert. Let it be known that the President is just a messenger of the CIA top echelon. Thank, blame them more than the President. We need no opposition to the CIA!
