Ironsi Had 6 months to release Awo But he did not only for Gowon to release him in his maiden takeover speech. credit goes to Gowon. He could have refused to head the liberation army and advised ojukwu to simmer down and face nsukka axis. nigerian history would have been different had ojukwu agreed but i doubt. Col Banjo was a fine officer who knew Col Ojukwu would kill him but yet he returned to the east. He deserves to be immortalized as a yoruba nationalist.

Do you know that some of the Biafran military commanders like Banjo saw the victory of Biafra and became nervous to the extent some of the top commanders started envying Ojukwu and began to plot coup to kill Ojukwu so that they would be the commander in chief of Biafran state they thought has been achieved, this is part of the reasons for the delay of Biafra military operation at Ore which gave Nigeria and Britain the time to regroup and re-attack with full force.‎

A wall on the USA border with Canada will amount to an utter waste of resources, everyone would agree unlike the proposed wall on the southern border with Mexico which has many supporters including President Trump. What is Mexico doing wrong? for one, income tax is not enforced in Mexico, Let Mexico start from that point of income tax to become at par with the USA and Canada. For instance if it were to be France, Italy or Germany on the southern border with the USA, there would have been no wall being planned for that border.

They Are not for profit, they dont declare profit any money they collect is solely to spread the gospel around the world but you can tax their workers via income tax and you will still reap billions of naira. Also, their businesses like schools, banks are taxable but Nigeria as a whole is virgin territory for taxation.

If you impose sanctions on any nation, it is the ordinary people that will suffer if anyone at all. The United Nations Security Council is the highest organ of government on Earth and it is a pity that the UNSC also imposes sanctions instead of taking unilateral actions. The USA has severally and rightly dismissed the UN as a whole as a debating society. A debating society is good for what it is good for but it should not be the sole function of the United Nations. Trade helps both parties participating as well as the moderator, so it is better not to fight trade wars in form of sanctions. The UNSC should work more on harmony between the veto powers and once that is achieved on any matter concerning any UN member states, it would be right to move militarily on that government regime to effect the UNSC wish.
