dblackninja: What if the person decides not to be a better person after reincarnation?? All I see is the same punishment recurring over & over & over. What am trying to establish is that the 2 religions under review dishes out punishment to its followers albeit in a different form. So I don't think you are under a good authority to say yours is good & the other bad. All I see are two ailments- where one is headache and the other stomach ache. It is obviously like repeating a class or not but given enough time you will become Apeere. That is also the teaching in Buddhism |

dblackninja: Oh ok A Christian will as well tell me that. Reward->Desirable Punishment->Unpleasant. Dont Draw parallels between traditional theology and religion. They are poles apart. Reincarnation On Earth is to make you a better person. There Is Esan Or Karma For Everything You Do |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Non-Christian Chatbox ( sticky ) by lawani(m): 1:41pm On Sep 12, 2017 |
dblackninja: Oh I see. The punishment is returning back to earth & the reward is staying in heaven with Olodumare. I wonder which one is more fun
Thanks, I now got something clear... In Christianity, the reward is heaven & punishment is hell (or returning to the soil according to Jehovah W.) & in Yoruba theology, reward=heaven; punishment=coming back to earth. Of course to remain in heavem is more desirable as earth is a market place while heaven is home but if there is an assignment an Apeere or Buddha Can Be reincarnated on Earth |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Non-Christian Chatbox ( sticky ) by lawani(m): 1:06pm On Sep 12, 2017 |
dblackninja: Oh I see.. If I understood you correctly, it means that everyone will end up in heaven to give their accounts according to Yoruba theology. Now I can imply that those that did good deeds will stay in that heaven with Olodumare. What will happen to those that did bad deeds?? They will keep returning to earth until they reach Apeere Just like the state of Nirvana In Buddhism. Everybody inching towards Apeere. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Non-Christian Chatbox ( sticky ) by lawani(m): 11:20am On Sep 12, 2017 |
dblackninja: Since there's no heaven and hell in traditional theology, what do you then mean by "saved"? There Is heaven where Olodumare reigns in Yoruba Theology and we will all end up there to give account of how we spent our lives and only our good deeds can save us. thanks for your intelligent questions |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Non-Christian Chatbox ( sticky ) by lawani(m): 9:49am On Sep 12, 2017 |
dblackninja: It might not have "hell" but I believe it punishes unbelievers as well. What happens when the people decide not to sacrifice to their gods anymore because they believe their bountiful harvest was from their toil and sweat rather than the gods? Hmmm! I wonder the kind of punishment it will mete out..maybe you can take a pick for me. Not to talk of the type of vengeance it will carry out if it's worshippers decide to introduce a foreign god & loose belief in it
If the Christian god dishes out punishment to both believers & unbelievers while claiming omnibenevolent & the traditional god[s] does so too, in its own way, while claiming to be a "fatherly gentleman", I then think we can conclude that both are the same, just have different styles/methods of execution. In traditional theology, you dont need to believe anything to be saved. You are saved by your good works. |

Pecca: So how do we achieve this Break-Up and subsequent Autonomy as postulated above as it is only the Biafrans that are visibly agitating for an independent nation today while others are on the fence, undecided? Those who has the country at the jugular won't come to the table if the status quo remains. Those aggrieved with the present constitution of the country must take a stand and, now is the time to do that. The northern oligarchy is busy re-strategizing, testing the ground for soft spots and offering trojan horses to the gullible in a bid to sustain the rape on every sphere of this country. They have nothing to lose. They are sitting pretty as it is and won't budge unless goaded. We must take a stand and I suggest the APC-style (birds of strange feathers gathered just to fight a common enemy with no sharing formula in place: Get-them-of-office was the only end. Not Only Biafra But Also Boko Haram, Then A Mild Agitation From The SW. BH is number one. |

Statsocial: Is the Niger delta a Federal capital territory for receiving 13% derivation What Lagos is asking for is 1% of its own VAT which it deserves just as much as ND deserves her own derivatives. Never talk about spoon feeding and Lagos in the same sentence. As of now Lagos generates more income than it gets in federal allocation and still contributes about 40 billion VAT to the federal purse. No, Lagos is not being spoon fed but Lagos is spoon feeding others. then fight for your VAT instead of asking for special status! but the VAT is from companies that produce for the whole nation not lagos alone where those coys are hqd. if Nigeria breaks up, those coys will open office hqs in other places in the east and north and pay vat there, meaning that VAT does not really belong to only lagos. |
Politics › Lagos And The Special Status Quest. by lawani(op): 11:21am On Sep 08, 2017*. Modified: 11:48am On Sep 08, 2017 |
If Lagos were given a special status, the place will become a federal territory like Abuja, controlled by a federal minister. Mrs Oluremi Tinubu is at the forefront of the struggle for special status and hence more federal money for Lagos. My own opinion is that Lagos does not at this point need to be spoon fed anything. The Population of Lagos as inherited from Nigeria is enough for Lagos to generate revenue therefrom, before Nigeria is dissolved. No Need for special status or more federal monies for Lagos. |

I am not suprised about your comments, because even when Jesus was alive, the Jews never accepted him. Even after his death and resurrection, they still try to cover up the truth. To follow Jesus is not compulsory for anyone but voluntary. You have your life to live and I have mine, but for me and my family JESUS IS OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR, ALL GLORY BE TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD. [quote author=FKO81 post=60212232]International Breweries
to explore merger with
Intafact and Pabod
Breweries
06 Jun 2017, 03:42 pm
Financial Nigeria
International Breweries said today that it has
agreed to explore a merger with Intafact
Beverages and Pabod Breweries, according to a
statement released on the Nigerian Stock
Exchange.
The proposed merger comes months after
Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest beer
company, completed its $106 billion acquisition
of SAB Miller in October 2016. All three
breweries – International Breweries, Intafact
Beverages, and Pabod Breweries – were all
subsidiaries of SAB Miller.
International Breweries said the proposed merger
is expected to generate both revenue and cost
synergies, enhanced operational efficiencies,
better resource management, and more
streamlined operations.
“On receipt of regulatory approvals (including
from the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Securities
and Exchange Commission), all parties will ok but ibplc retains name |

HENCE, HE OVERTURNED ALL THE MERCHANDISE AND TELL THE SELLERS TO TAKE THEM AWAY FROM THE TEMPLE.
IF U HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH ANY RELIGION, PLEASE LEAVE CHRISTIANITY OUT OF IT. Christianity is the first religion.
