Osun is more than 7 times the size of Lagos by land area but Lagos would be almost three times the size of Osun in population. That population size alone is what Lagos beat Osun with. By other indices, Osun is far ahead of Lagos. Both have their internal economies of trade, barbering, tailoring, hairdressing, carpentary, rewire, car mechanics, bricklaying. Table water, menial labor, farming, painting, education, cloth weaving, spare parts manufacturing, bureau de change, and etc. Each of these sectors can be described as a billion dollar industry in its own right. Check out the number of barbers or carpenters, hairdressers or bricklayers who work in their sector, train their children and have landed property and automobiles, then you will understand. Both states are standing well with Osun better off because of less traffic congestion and overall higher living standard than Lagos by far. If Osun were to be a sovereign country, it would be even better off as embassies of nations open there. If only 50 nations having an average of 20 staff each, that is a boost to the economy. Then if that happens all corporations operating in Osun state will have to incorporate in Osun and have a head office in the state. Such companies will range from telecommunications to banks to mining companies and etc. That too will bring more jobs to the state. Those jobs now are in Lagos. If the population of Lagos is like 21 million, that of Osun will just be shy of 10 million. It makes me sad to hear people say Osun is poor, Lagos is richer and etc. On what basis? What are the indices being used? What Lagos has more than Osun is population. Osun is an agrarian state. There are a lot of agro allied industries in the state and the state is considerably industrialized as well with resident Europeans, Chinese and etc. Osun on the overall is better, has more prospects and is more prosperous than Lagos save the population and the more serious Lagos government by their IGR kicked off by former Governor Tinubu. More than a third of any money raised by the LASG can be raised in Osun. Osun produces catfish for Lagos pepper soup joints, produces palm oil, produces PKO for the vegetable oil refineries in Ibadan, produces cocoa, coffee, kolanuts, rice, cassava, vegetables, maize and etc in an industry worth billions of dollars per annum. Osun produces billions of dollars worth of poultry, pig, cattle etc. There are heavy industries too like the Breweries in Ilesa, then other concerns like plastics, nail manufacturing, spare parts manufacturing and etc. There are big urban centers and the state is second to none by the number of urban centers. Osun is number one in that respect nationwide. CONCLUSION. OSUN IS BETTER THAN LAGOS BY WAY OF VIBRANCY OF THE ECONOMY, DEVELOPMENT AND STANDARD OF LIVING BUT LAGOS HAS MORE PEOPLE AND THEREFORE MORE MARKET AND MORE MONEY. When the British empire was run as one, there was uniformity and progress throughout the extents to a large extent and later it was broken up, as former colonies became independent nations. What now exists is the British Commonwealth chaired nominally by the British monarch. It appears this association has outlived its usefulness. If a man like President Buhari a known hater of Yorubas or any group apart from his own Fulani group can be insinuating that Queen Elizabeth asked him to cancel the Lagos metroline project, then it is high time the whole association is disbanded for people to align as they like with whoever they like. Buhari is known as an ethnic chauvinist and religious bigot cum jihadist yet he is positing that Queen Elizabeth asked him to do what he obviously did with joy and from the bottom of his heart. Lagos by then was the most expensive city in the world and it had no metroline. So Buhari an anti Yoruba person followed what he believed to be a directive from Queen Elizabeth of Britain, head of the Commonwealth, to cancel the already paid for Lagos metro!. Let Earth be reorganised and let people realign as they wish under the United Nations. There should be no exclusive group like British, French or Spanish Commonwealth. Just like Germany reunified decades after the second world war, let ancestral lands demarcated by colonial borders in Africa do thesame while we all go directly under a re organised United Nations. No group should be ruled by a government they are not agreeable with. Let the United Nations headquarters be moved to London and that will be an economic gain for that city as they collect income tax from the thousands of United Nations staff and as those ones spend UN forex in their country. London is the zero point, the Ile Ife of the industrial revolution. The British definitely are now behind the Germans, Japanese and even South Koreans in industrialization, they need to buckle up. The problem with Nigeria is never corruption as Nigeria is ranked with Russia as per corruption level and Russia is at least a force in the world today after the USA. It is only because of higher population that some other nations are reckoned with more. Russia has all industries in place even if not as developed as say Germany's. Russia has blazed the trail in many fields of human endeavor. Space travel, satellite communications, weapons manufacture and etc. Russia sort of leads despite the much spoken of corruption and that corruption is at par with Nigeria's THE PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA The main problem is groups who are not satisfied with what God gave them as ancestral lands and want to rule others who are different from them like China is to Russia. The two main groups guilty of this are Hausas and Igbos. Why mix everything up like an antichrist country? So that Hausas can burn houses and kill people in Mile 12 Lagos, backed by Federal police?. So that Igbos can become Governor in Yoruba land and use the opportunity to undermine the Yoruba like the PDP Igbo house of assembly member in Lagos who said Yoruba should not be used for house proceedings because of himself!. YOU CAN ONLY TAKE YORUBA LAND BY WAR AND BIAFRA FAILED TO ACHIEVE THAT IN THE 1960s!. You find Yorubas all over Nigeria in their millions, holding political posts in Kaduna, PH and all over, having properties, dominating whole areas but they manage to comport themselves!. They bow to their hosts according to the saying 'Awolumate iwon ara e lo mo'. A stranger making it in a city is making it because he knows his limits. Yorubas have never ganged up to fight others on their lands and most Northern towns have a huge Yoruba population as well as indigenes from ancient Yoruba quarters. INFRASTRUCTURE AND ECONOMIC PROBLEM OF NIGERIA. After the issue of highly unhealthy rivalry in the country, the next problem is infrastructure of which power is number one. If there is stable power in Nigeria, the country will change to a large extent. The other thing needed would be an engineering material industry and there would be industrialization. Next thing would be inflation and that will be solved when the economy is formalized and government depends on taxes only. Ironically Igbos who think they are gaining in Nigeria are best poised to solve the power problem!. Coal is still the main resource used to generate power worldwide. Europe, Japan, Australia all use coal. Coal power is over 40 percent of electricity worldwide and a nation like South Africa (as a South African friend Mr Gregory Harrington told me) will buy coal from Nigeria if available as Australia is too far. This coal is in abundance in Igbo land. Even a Yoruba country will buy coal from an Igbo country as will do a Hausa country pending when other solutions are found for power generation. Enugu coal can power Nigeria and South Africa and we dont even have coal plants in the country. Let everybody maintain their lands and allign as they wish. Stop trying to rule others. You are calling for war. Take what you have, allign with people who are agreeable and leave the rest. If the Igbos can build coal fired plants and end their power problem, what else are they looking for? The Yorubas will have to lay gas pipelines or buy coal from Igbos or both. The Hausas will also buy coal. Power is the main economic problem, then engineering materials, other infrastructure like transportation followed by the problem of currency manipulation or inflation. The big problem of inter ethnic rivalry can only be solved if people control their ancestral lands fully and once that happens, Yorubas prefer to allign West with Togo and Benin and even Ghana than to the East or North because those are our people that we were in a federal system with in the past. The Hausas will allign with their people in Niger better. Headaches are better avoided when possible. There is less than 3 billion tonnes of coal in Nigeria but that is still something. Power problem on the globe will eventually be solved with renewable energy as the cost is mediocred but in the main time, coal can be used. Later, solar, wind, tidal and etc sources will take over. We all know that USD 2,000 income may be able to achieve for an individual on the streets of Dhaka in Bangladesh, Ibadan in Nigeria, Ilesa in Nigeria what USD 10,000 income may not be able to achieve in highbrow cities in places like Western Europe, North America, Japan, Singapore and etc. This is largely because up to 35 percent of all personal income goes for income tax while the rest go to settle utility bills like power, housing, water, gas and etc. That is the reality in our world today and my publication titled 'THE INFLATED ECONOMY OF AN HIGH ENTROPY STATE' treats the issue in depth. In a place like Nigeria, the water grid is more or less non existent. In Ilesa, Nigeria, each house has a water well which is either hand drawn or pumped into the house. The power grid is nothing to write home about as well since it is epileptic, then no one takes tenement rates, no income tax, no one pay tax, no gas grid and etc. Each building is like an off grid unit. You buy only things you can afford. No undodgeable living expenses or utility bills except power bills which are not significant. A person living in Ilesa with a USD 2000 income per month is certainly better off than someone living in high brow New York with USD 10,000 per month income because the New Yorker will pay income tax, pay rent and various utilities. He may be left with USD 2,000 flat after all that. This means that the street value of USD 2,000 is close to USD 10,000 for an individual in Ilesa. This shows that the US dollar is over valued by 500 percent according to street value!. Because in the USA, every worker pays tax. What does this say of the US national debt?. It shows that by third world street value a USD 20 trillion debt is worth only USD 4 trillion. In essence every commodity whose price is driven by demand in industrialized nations is over priced relative to realities in the third world just like it is with utilities. The well organised nations can afford to pay more for many things because the economy is inflated. However many things are cheaper in the industrialized nations because of automation or decrease in production costs. If no automation , mass production, mechanization and etc, then things would have been much more expensive in the industrialized nations than the third world because of labor costs. However, if everybody should organise uniformly, the gap will close considerably and living expenses will become similar across the globe. Starting wage anywhere will not be three times what obtains elsewhere and the gap will eventually close. However, it will need a culture of sharing, cancellation of sovereign debts and a restructure of everything before such a restructure can benefit everybody. |

All the handwritten letters, sent mails and etc to Tola Ekunsanmi from me from 2000 to around 2010 when I cut her off can be credited as from me to Barbara Bush. For instance the earlier letters claimed that Tola was born premature while she was not. The person being referred to is Barbara the actual correspondent. Barbara was born premature like me. Tola told me 'I do not know and have never met anyone like you' via email. That was not Tola but Barbara the actual correspondent. I concluded that this Tola has got something for me and she actually engages me intelligently the kind I have never really encountered in another person except it was never Tola chatting with me with a pseudonym but Barbara was the person on yahoo messenger all the time using the different ids, Tola's email and etc. It is a very powerful love story. All the correspondence I had with Tola and some other ids I thought were her on yahoo messenger were actually Barbara Bush AND THAT MAKES ME VERY HAPPY INDEED. I AM VERY HAPPY TO HAVE HER AT LAST. A concept that is elusive for many is balance. Knowing when to stop, how to negotiate and etc. That is the realm of Esu in Aborisha theology. Classifying all these practices under thesame inclusive heading of religion is not right or adequate. Hinduism for instance insists that converting people away from their culture is totally wrong and must be discouraged by all. Hinduism stands firm against conversions as is standard practice in Christianity's and Islam's various sects. All of the Christian and Muslim sects are individually convinced they have the absolute truth which a human being must believe to qualify for salvation. They threaten people based on this erroneous belief of theirs. This modus operandi is very detestable to Hindus. Buddhists do not threaten anybody and they do not dismiss any culture as paganistic. You will never hear a Hindu or a Buddhist refer to a human culture as paganistic. Shinto of Japan is a pure ancient cultural theology carried on by an advanced society. They are basically Hindus like the rest of human cultures who do not claim absolute truth. The Shinto Japanese government is a major sponsor of the Ifa heritage institute in Oyo Nigeria.
