Isnt everybody irunmale incarnate? We are all irunmale incarnate and all orisas are irunmales who are with special energies. Olodumare is an irunmale who rules from Ogotun as Olu Ogotun chairing a council of 401 irunmales, two hundred on the right and two hundred on the left. Then we cant pin down just one person and say the person is Obatala and Ogun. There were very many of them. The first Obatala spoken of in Ifa was a woman Oba, later down the line, Obatala was referred to as a woman but the energy is 'perfect government administrator'. A fun nini gba fun aini. O so eni kan di igba eni. Anire niwa, Aniwa nire. Iba o!. So you can not pin any orisa down to something that happened in Ile Ife around 15 centuries ago.

Akanniade:
Abu ni nje abuni, afini han nje afini han, ewo nti ewo ara ibadan ti nlo lojude ogunmola.
Used when someone while seemingly making a joke is really putting you in trouble.
It is Nle ara Ijesa or Nle ara Ijaye ti nlo lode Ogunmola. The proverb was because Ibadan was at one time or the other at war with Ijesa and Ijaye and Ogunmola was Basorun Ibadan.
PoliticsWill I Be Killed Over My Humanitarian Articles? by lawani(op): 2:42pm On Apr 26, 2016
Many folks including family, acquaintances and former friends hold on to the mentally deranged opinion that I will be killed for the articles I write on social media to proffer solutions to many challenges of humanity as a whole. Before I even knew what was up, while attending the RCCG along with millions of cattle; I was under CIA protection, how much more now that I am calling for the heads of Pastor Adeboye and his co travellers? Do not be a fool, I will not be killed by anyone. I do not take any precaution and I am not security conscious at all, yet it would be easier to assassinate all African government heads within 24 hours than to successfully attack me with a lethal weapon. Listen well, I am behind enemy lines, surrounded by RCCG people but yet they are minions compared to the forces that have risen for me. I am under CIA protection and my next of kin is Barbara Bush Jnr the CEO of Global Health Corps. She will be the most bereaved person if I die of a natural cause, not to talk of killed by goons like Adeboye and etc. You know what that means? My first family is the Bush family in the USA, that rose to save me when I was a lamb in the custody of wolves. There are powerful people praying for me like Evangelist Bonnke and etc etc.

So how moronic and bereft of common sense can you be as a former friend, acquaintance or biological family to believe there is a remote possibility that I will be killed for trying my best to be a good human being? You are a lost cause as far as common sense is concerned.

However, my solemn wish and prayer to God is that all of you including former friends, acquaintances and biological family, hoping I will be killed for doing all that is in my power to be the best quality human being I can be is that you will die suddenly in your prime, before me and very soon too. Ase.

Being behind enemy lines can be fun too for as long as it lasts especially if you are well armed and the enemies are just sitting ducks. So you are the ones, you idiots, that will be killed, not Akin Lawanson, who very soon will settle down with Barbara Bush jnr, CEO of Global Health Corps, the best young woman any man alive today, anywhere in the world can be opportuned to marry.

Yoruba language has nothing to do with Kemetic language. nothing about Yorubas descended from Egypt. we are pure west Africans
if we must trace our origins outside west Africa. .. such proto-YEAI language would still be part of the Niger-Congo languages. .. not an Afro-Asiatic language which ancient Egypt spoke
You can google it, words like suegbe-fool, ika-wicked, lareja-knowledge, ibudo-dwelling place, On-person, ma-know and over half of modern Yoruba vocab was used in exactly thesame way in kemitic Egypt. So that our current language is descended from that language is not debateable. it is the fact. i for one believe our ancestors spoke Akoko dialects in the past. I once heard an Awo on radio saying our old word for house was Arigidi and that Ile is new. That we speak a language descended from kemitic Egypt does not mean we are descended wholly from kemitic Egypt but definitely a large number of them joined us and we adopted the language same way we are now adopting English.

Something was rendered in modern letters from Kemitic Egyptian hieroglyphics as 'ibw nfr zw bw bn' by those who study that language. they say it means 'where we loved became an evil place. You can see that the language though 5 thousand years old is modern Yoruba ''ibi afe di ibi ibi' which means thesame thing. Whether the language is now classified as Indo European or Afro Asiatic makes no difference to the obvious fact.
PoliticsA Nation Can Be Small And Great. by lawani(op):
A nation can be small and great.

There are ten sovereign nations in the world with a population less than 70 thousand people apart from those who are semi independent overseas territories of bigger nations. Also, there are numerous categories of nations, Barbados for instance is less than 300 thousand with per capita income two times the global average, Botswana is landlocked with almost two times the average per capita income on the globe. So a nation can be small and great, Liecheistein is less than 40 thousand but is the richest German speaking country on a per capita basis while Monaco of a similar population is a monarchy under Prince Albert. All are well run nations that are very successful.

So, what we need in Nigeria is to break up the country, there is no town without a GDP, no town that is not sending one thing or the other outside while receiving imports. Like a family, get yourself organised, tax yourselves to build roads, hospitals and schools for your children, raise the quality of life and living standard, with seriousness, things will start to get better as more and more hands are joined together.

What you need is a guarantee from your neighbours that they will not hamper you in any way, the people on the coast will not tariff your imports while the people to the North will not tariff what is coming from their direction too. It must be noted that Mali, Niger, Chad and etc have been going on without this guarantee for years while the income from the ports are embezzled by those taking them to the disadvantage of their citizens. Customs staff are customarily millionaires, even billionaires atimes in Nigeria.

So if the issue of ta-riffing goods can be removed, all groups should be happy to stay on their own. No issue of nomadic herdsmen again as all groups will have their armies, police or militia to take care of that angle. For instance, the Bariba, Yoruba and etc used to employ the Bororo to care for their cattle in the past and there was decorum. The two groups had interest in both the cattle and the farm lands. There was food security and people were not afraid of investing in farming because gun wielding cattle rearers would bankrupt them when the farm is used as cattle feed by the nomads.

So no matter how small the population of a group, they can, like a family, stand on their own and solve their problems, the only problem will be that they will not be able to achieve very great things. For instance, Ethiopia is a poor country on a per capita basis but they can skim some capital off their GDP to build a space observatory station worth millions of dollars. A nation of 20 thousand people will not be able to afford that. However, you may not be able to afford expensive and bold projects if you have a small population of workers but you will still be able to cater for yourselves while the people with a huge population have most of the adventure, sponsoring research and etc.
PropertiesEvening Out The World's Cities by lawani(op):
Evening out the world's cities

I grew up in Ilesa, the traditional capital of the Ijesa, a subgroup of the Yoruba. In Ilesa, the pipe borne water system packed up decades ago, that is the general story but pipe borne water do run from time to time in areas of Ilesa like Igbaye and etc, I have seen it run a few times in the 1990s in my maternal grandmother's sister's house in the area but it is not regular or dependable, so, the normal tradition in Ilesa is for a landlord to sink a borehole or a water well which the tenants draw water from with the use of a rubber made for that purpose. Some estates or personal houses have water pumping machines, so they have pipe borne water installed by them and not part of a water grid. In Ilesa therefore, there is no problem of potable water. It has never been a problem in Ilesa and I never knew it could be a problem until I got to Lagos and I saw areas where people buy water for domestic use from people who sank boreholes as a business venture. My second encounter of such was during my youth service at Avrugo village in Kogi state where the source of water for domestic use ie drinking and etc is a river source. I joined them to consume the water and there was no incidence.

In Osogbo, the capital of Osun state of which Ilesa is a member, they have pipe borne water to a large extent. Ile Ife which is one of the big three in Osun is mostly like Ilesa though they also have some areas with public pipe borne water but the house I stayed in Parakin used a well just like in Ilesa. So no potable water problem in Osun state that I know of. The only problem is electrical power. When we were growing up in Ilesa, private power generation was not common, we never had a generator at home, though my parents' home and every home in Ilesa and Osun generally now have power generators. Back then, we waited for NEPA, the National Electric Power Authourity that generated and distributed power in the country and make do with whatever amount of power was rationed to us. Ilesa road network is excellent, so traffic hold ups are very rare, the biggest industry is the International Breweries established by the late Dr Lawrence Omole and associates but now run by SABMiller with many Europeans on the board, then there are various other small scale industries like foam making, plastics industry, vegetable oil, wine distilleries, produce buying, iron and steel (ASWIL of MACHO) and Professor Makanjuola's Makstech, a reknowned fabrication company, one of the best in the country amongst other ventures like table water production, bakeries, poultries, piggeries, ranches, hotels, artisanships, nails manufacturing and etc. People living in Ilesa and environs will be top 1 million nowadays with like half of them in Ilesa itself.

The story of Ile Ife and Osogbo is similar only that Ilesa may be a bit more industrialized.

Now to living expenses, to get a decent 2 or 3 bedroom bungalow to start off your family in Ilesa may cost you 100 thousand naira per annum or less, you can put toddlers in a decent private school with hardworking teachers at less than 50 thousand naira per term of four months. Though, a school like the Olashore International school has fees of up to a million naira a year for High school students if not more but that is for those who can afford it. For others, public schools are free or you use a cheap private school. I went to a public school and till today, many public schools retain their standard. A family of four can not spend more than 40 thousand naira a month on food if they manage.

Another thing is cooking fuel. It is possible to use electric cooker but power is not stable and if standard rates were applicable, it may not be affordable but when we were in the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, electric cookers were the norm. However, in Ilesa, one can get cooking gas for a family of four at around N1800 per 5kg, so, gas of around 6 or 7000 naira can last for 3 months for such a family, making it like 2 thousand naira a month for cooking gas for a family but a single person can not use more than 700 naira a month for gas. There is no need for gas to heat the home as the climate is tropical. The cooking gas is not piped, people take their cylinders to buy from small holders who go to gas depots outside Ilesa to buy, the small holders buy inside huge cylinders, transport to Ilesa and start selling at a profit. That system has certain advantages over the system of piping gas. One major advantage is that it is a perfect market unlike a situation where all houses are already connected to the gas grid and price can not fall unless government allows it. However a large segment of the population use kerosine stoves but I believe Kerosine is more expensive than gas.
So, considering all the above, one wonders why any city anywhere in the world should be ten times as expensive to live in as Ilesa. They have piped water, gas and stable power? So what? There are also places in Lagos with such bogus cost of living that are like Ilesa by not having those infrastructures, clearly showing the problem to be of another nature. There are rents of up to 30 thousand dollars a year in Lagos if not more and no where in Lagos is better than anywhere in Ilesa.

However such a problem of irrationally expensive cities do not occur in Communist countries because land is communally owned and the cost is not subject to market forces.

We have to be as conservative as possible, so I believe cities have to be equalized and everything evened out across the globe. The main problem is rent followed by utilities and a way to even things out is to make communal land ownership the new way, so the cost of land will be removed from rent calculations, evening out rent rates for same quality apartments. Then standardizing tenement rates across the globe. This I believe can even things out and equalize all the world's cities.

It is only after such an equalization has been done that the GDP of any nation relative to others can be known.

For calculation purposes, one dollar is officially 197 Naira while the market rate is like N350.

It is Pastor Adeboye of the RCCG who predicted Abacha's death that has been assassinating politicians. He killed Abacha using a Yoruba charm called Magun. He sent assassins to Bola Ige because that one does not attend Holy Ghost service, same thing he did to Funsho Williams. The PDP were at a loss on what to do while Tinubu has surrendered to him by sending his wife to the church to become Pastor.

What we are saying is that Nigeria should breakup into manageable units speaking same language with same culture. That Yoruba are in Northern Nigeria, Benin and Togo even South America does not make them less Yoruba. So on Nigeria breaking, will Ilorin be a separate nation when Jebba, Baruten and other Bariba towns are in same country with other Yoruba? When New Bussa and etc are with Yoruba? We need people to be paying tax and Ilorin is an 100 percent Yoruba town or do you know somebody in Ilorin whose ethnic group is not Yoruba? This is not hate or war. Why do you think it is?
CultureRe: A Brief Historical Origin Of Ibillo Community In Edo State by lawani(m): 2:47am On Apr 24, 2016
Go back 5 thousand years, Yoruba was not spoken anywhere in Nigeria just like English was not spoken anywhere in Britain, the people adopted the language in same way we are adopting English nowadays. I for one believe that the old language of the Yoruba was Akoko but in a proto form more related to Igbo and Edo than it is today. Just like in Britain there are still a few Celtic languages including Irish, Welsh and a few in England, we also have Akokoid languages remaining in Yoruba land. Those languages are directly descended from our old languages. They will be close to Orofe, the old Ife language known to many Awos. The present Yoruba language is descended from the Kemitic Egyptian in exactly thesame way English is descended from old German. Those Akokoid tongues are the old languages of Yoruba people which means the people are more proto Ife than the people in Ile Ife who now speak the new language derived from Kemitic Egyptian.

I am not saying Nigeria should adopt the EU system, I mean for West Africa and possibly the world, Nigeria should be buried since it has failed. Let Igbos, Yoruba, Hausa and etc stand alone or with allies in real nations with African languages in official status used in their parliaments and in schools with English and others, let those viable nations stand alone as sovereign nations and develop their space as neighbours to each other under the moderation of the United Nations.
Christianity EtcYour Character And Your Destiny 3 by lawani(op): 12:50pm On Apr 23, 2016
Your character is what determines your destiny, it determines who you will marry and what kind of industry you can thrive in and etc.

Barbara Bush is the God ordained life partner and co traveller for me. My defining character is that I want to understand things into details, I want indepth articulation of anything I encounter, I want to understand properly and if I lay hands on anything, I want to bring it to a head. During my final year at the Obafemi Awolowo University, I was given Professor Akeredolu as my supervisor, someone known by all in the department as a very hardworking teacher who drives his students, so he gave us his project students tens of topics to choose from on a first come first serve basis, I chose drying of some Nigerian foodstuff, then he chose garlic for me. I had expected to be driven hard but nothing like that ever happened because I went back, planned on how to do the research to arrive at an articulate conclusion, interviewed some people at the Food science laboratory, then at the Central Science laboratory, by the time I reported to my supervisor, he learnt a few terms from me to my surprise. He then informed me 'I have not done this research, no one has, so it is your job to come up with something'. From that point, he never had to rush or drive me and the only other input he added was after I had finished the work and he insisted I present some data with a kind of graph, which I did. He typically drives his student to work but he saw my enthusiasm and never drove me. Then he published the work in a Chemical Engineering journal which put me ahead of most if not all of my contemporaries including those with first class degree who never got published. Some Proffesors do not have more than 30 such works.

So my natural state is in the articulation and presentation of ideas after being convinced on it. This is the turf where the US leads the world. It is the reason why the US is ahead of all. The US leads the world in journal publications which is how we move humanity forward.

Add this to my decision to forever be living by the golden rule, natural concern for others and you will be forced to admit that there was no way I could have escaped getting married to Barbara Bush Jnr because I was definitely going to join the online discourse about Nigeria and I was not going to stop before finding a way out, the CIA are all over the place and within a few months, I would have been noticed and the US President would have been briefed. 'This new one is passionate and determined, a good debater and analyst, he will not stop until he finds a way out'. The CIA would have closed in, President Bush was President with an unmarried daughter and which man will like to help a young man achieve something very great and important for his country and by extension humanity while the young man is unmarried and not introduce his single first daughter to the young man for the purpose of marriage?'. No sensible man can do that.

So, my character had already cut me out as someone that can only get married to Barbara Bush Jnr and no one else. No other young woman on Earth has two US Presidents in the family. One Dad, one Granddad and when we are talking of debates, journals and etc to arrive at the best answer for humanity, the US represents all that and the Bush family represents the US more than others. So my getting married to Barbara Bush jnr, the Earth belle and the numero uno spinster in the US and on Earth became a done deal from the time I chose my character. We were thus made for each other.

We would have married by 2008 or 2009 if not for evil people like my parents, Pastor Adeboye, President Jonathan and etc as well as many others including the ACN people under Senator Tinubu who supported and provided logistics for people whom they believed were coming to assassinate me for writing about how Nigeria will be better. Senator Tinubu during the struggle against the military in Nigeria was saved from assassination by thesame CIA on at least two occasions. So what went wrong? In their shoes, I would have begged that an innocent person not be killed, then wash my hands off the matter, not provide hotel lodgings for the assassins.

So as our theology insists among the Yoruba, destiny can not be altered by evil people but it can be delayed by them which is what folks like my parents, former friends, family, President Jonathan, ACN, APC and etc were able to do. Outside them, I would today be married to Barbara Bush and with children in fulfilment of my destiny. Something that was sealed from the moment I chose my character, maybe even before as there is a 1981 email in President George H W Bush's possession which says the newly born Barbara Bush jnr as at then is going to get married to someone from Africa.

So that is how it goes, how it flows, your character determines your destiny and what is constant is constant. Add, remove, subtract, multiply and the constant will remain. Barbara and I.

You think merging people with similar cultures to form a country will solve our problems in the absence of justice? Why were there wars between Yorubas with different dialects in the past? Why is South Sudan currently embroiled in civil war? Why is there civil war in Syria despite they being majorly Arabs? Why did Ijaws and Itsekiri fought in Delta State.
My suggestion is for us to work towards having a just and fair society regardless of tribe and religion, instead of disintegration.
You have made a very good observation, a most intelligent one but what language would you suggest be used in such a country and if such a country is a theocracy, how should the God be rendered? There are people already in West Africa whose first or second language is Yoruba who have essentially thesame concept of God and thesame kind of societal organisation as the Yoruba. I believe it is better for such a group to emerge as a nation.

The word Yoruba is new but Ile kaaro o jiire is not new, Ife is not new, the Yoruba language is not new. People defined by any one or more of these are thesame, they dont feel superior to each other or other human beings, they can work together easily. So Yoruba have been one even though they fought themselves in the past, tongue and teeth fight, brothers fight, disagreements are part of the human culture but allignment along the path of language and culture is beautiful and is the best. So far Germans, French, Spanish; Russians and Italians are not one nation, no reason for Nigeria to be a nation, moreso that it has failed. However, West Africa and even the whole globe can be a trading bloc like the EU.

Did I say Fulani jihad took place in Ilorin? Never! Ilorin is a Yoruba city right from the onset and controlled by Obas
I had to point that out to you. Some Yoruba were put in the North. A Fulani person was controlling the ruling NPC while the Yoruba controlled the opposition. So the NPC used their influence to instal an Emir in Ilorin since the Governor of the North then was a Muslim Fulani supremacist. He couldnt instal a Yoruba of part Fulani ancestry, so he installed one of part Hausa ancestry to spite his opponents who were Yoruba in the AG. So when Alhaji Mohammed Lawal an Afonja scion became elected Governor of Kwara state, he promoted the Aare Afonja to 1st class to equal the Emir and the move was reversed by Gov Saraki when he became Governor, the Ajikobi family who are custodians of the British protection agreement also remain disgruntled as they see themselves as the rightful Olu of Ilorin.

The problem we have is that of mutual suspicion and lack of cohesion so rather than continue with that, breakup the country into units where they understand themselves and have a uniform culture where interests can be more easily alligned. There are good and bad people everywhere. So let the Hausa Fulani go and manage themselves and allies while the Yoruba, Igbo and etc also go and do thesame.

I'm not a Yoruba or a Fulani mind you but I'm a Nigerian that eschews tribal bigotry. That being said Yorubas in Ilorin are faring better than the ones in some other states. As for SW booming during Awo's era this was before the civil war, after the civil war things changed in quick succession and this continued up on till this day due to short-sightedness of some Nigerian leaders and followers. Fulanis didn't shortchange the Yorubas blame it on the likes of Adedibu, Olubadan, Olu Falae, Bode George, OBJ (seems unfair) and others I can't remember their names
There are no Fulani in Ilorin. No Fulani Jihad ever took Ilorin, Bariba or Nupe south of the Niger. Educate yourself. Only Nupe North of the Niger fell under the Jihad. Yoruba North of the Niger have Obas. Please go and read and stop displaying your ignorance. The Ilorin Emir's name is Gambari which means Hausa and not Fulani, his forebears were Imams. The last Afonja Oba of Ilorin died in 1895 and Ilorin was signed under British protection by a descendant of Alaafin Abiodun. The only Ilorin chief of part Fulani ancestry is the Balogun Fulani and I am not more Yoruba than that chief.

Hatemonger and e-bigot go and find something better to do with your frustrated life instead of fanning the ember of hate across NL. You ought to be promoting love, harmony and peaceful coexistence instead of otherwise.
He is right to say Ilorin should have a proper identity. Ilorins do not refer to their paramount chief as Emir but Oba, Emir is in newspapers. Then Afonja was not a traitor as he did what Lisabi in Egba, the Dahomey and etc did, then Alimi was never Oba in Ilorin. The last Afonja descendant that was Oba in Ilorin was Oba Moma who died in 1895 and Ilorin was signed under British protection by Balogun Ajikobi a descendant of Alaafin Abiodun in 1897. So the description of Ilorin as something not Yoruba is purely political as Ilorin is totally surrounded by towns with Obas.
Science/TechnologyEvolution And Adaptation- The Question Of Existence. by lawani(op): 3:43pm On Apr 22, 2016
Evolution and adaptation are two things that can not happen by chance. In adaptation, your DNA responds to external stimuli to become something different that will eventually result in a genotype more adaptive to the habitat. This can be shown easily. A North European that has spent 5 years doing outdoor work in Yoruba land will look remarkably different from a North European who did not leave Norway or Denmark during thesame time frame. The Nordic person working in Yoruba land will be darker than the other Nordic person by being sun tanned even within six months. That is adaptation and it would be wrong to say such happened by chance as it happened only because the Nordic person relocated to Yoruba land to be working outdoors. This changed the phenotype within a short period then the genotype by next generation. A group of Nordic people that relocated to Ilesa will after fifty generations be remarkably darker than their former countrymen if not almost phenotypically Negroid after so long even without intermarrying with the Yoruba. People who write computer programmes, who code, can easily relate with this, it should be clear to them that the phenotype and genotype change is definitely due to a programme written in by the Creator which is why it is on auto. When you are in a high sun intensity area, you eventually produce descendants who are pigmented for protection, if you move back to the temperate zones, you start losing pigmentation gradually by next generation. Just thesame way a plant in a shade will grow towards the light. It obviously is a written in programme. That is adaptation which does not change you from who you are, given any number of years, you still remain thesame specie FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT AN ECOSYSTEM NEEDS ALL ITS SPECIES. Even if you are going to change to something else, it can never happen by chance. For example, if the billions of religious human zombies of Christians and Muslims on Earth today will revert back to become normal humans as God intended, SUCH A POSITIVE CHANGE CAN NEVER HAPPEN BY CHANCE. So the idea of chance should be discarded because it is obviously a written in programme. How many generations separate the Nordic people from the Chinese from the Yoruba?. It may be up to one thousand generations of 40 years each separating the main bodies, yet we all still remain thesame specie adapted to our habitats. If we relate it to our modern production of things. If a US car production company relocates to Nigeria, they will immediately start producing cars that fits Nigerian roads.

Now, habitats do not create superior humans because if it were so, there would be evidence but no such evidence. Success is determined by God (providence). For thousands of years that other peoples of the Earth were advanced and sophisticated, Europeans remained backward and were looked down upon. The first global order or civilization to be initiated by Europeans is the present one by Great Britain. So, if Europeans, Singaporeans or Japanese were superior as many think, because of their success relative to others , they should have had that superiority even in 3000 BC but that is not the case. They overtook others only recently. So no habitat produces super people.

Evolution is about becoming another specie entirely. So far as we know, this is not possible and can never be achieved in the biological sense at least. We are in an ecosystem where all living things have a role including plants, animals, insects, preys, predators and etc and nothing will ever become another thing. They are all bounded by their DNA. A housefly can mutate, change color and etc but will never become something more advanced. Plants will never become animals and chimpanzees are not on their way to become human. They will remain chimpanzees forever. Humans have something different that other species do not have and that is the enhanced ability to create, making us the highest specie.

After the first specie emerged, it will take thousands of generations of inbreeding to achieve another permanent mutation not to talk of a new specie. So the speciation we have today branching out into millions of distinct species of plants, animals, insects, virus and etc can only happen in a highly advanced laboratory where millions of years are compressed into seconds by a team containing millions of geek engineers, programmers, philosophers, geneticist and etc. Despite compressing the years, they would still need to stimulate conditions to arrive at their desired end of producing millions of species because in any ecosystem, total reproductive isolation and other touted conditions for evolution are naturally impossible.

In short, turning a pawpaw into a human being by genetic engineering is not impossible but it is not possible to happen by chance. There must definitely be a team of creators even if unseen.

Creation, not evolution is the answer to the question of existence.

We say break up the country so that people can develop to their hearts content, take tax from their residents, promote their culture and values, yet some ignorant people continue saying Igbos must relocate to the East. Can all Yorubas live in the West? Or all Hausas in the North? Please rather keep quiet than pass unintelligent comments.
FamilyHappy 90th Birthday To Queen Elizabeth II Of Britain. by lawani(op):
Born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary in 1926 April 21 into English royalty when her grandfather was King. Everybody would have been nice to her by default, so naturally she would have a tender heart. If you are never insulted by anyone and everybody treats you with respect, you will most likely grow up to be a nice person with a good heart unlike many of us that have to struggle with many people who look down on us for one reason or the other.

The Queen is the most important and experienced politician in Britain today. Having been crowned since 1952, she has been receiving briefs from the secret service and the British Prime Minister since then. She is said to be given some briefs even before the PM.

The patron of the British monarchy is the Norman, a Viking descended Frenchman called William the Conqueror who became King in AD 1066 during the middle ages. At that time the empire was Scotland and England and it was a minor European nation.

Through thick and thin Britain rose and had totally surpassed the Spanish and Portuguese by mid 18th century. They formed corporations and invested wisely, the clothiers rose selling British wool to the continent of Europe. It was said that most of Europe was clothed in English wool. It brought prosperity and it led to the industrial revolution as well, something which changed the global economy. The British took it upon themselves, deployed resources to put an end to slavery on the globe. They used their superior firepower, a product of the industrial revolution to achieve that. Later two horrible wars followed and after the second, the British adopted a policy of allowing people to rule themselves. Possibly the first time an empire will hands off its posts voluntarily in world history without being humiliated. Something which some still find difficult in the 21st century.

If a nation will be credited with introducing the present system under which global population has boomed, under which prosperity has skyrocketed, that nation is Britain. The people are Celts with an admixture or taint of Germanic.

Without a government and the state, the British would not have been able to change the world. They needed the navy to ferry and protect the clothiers, the parliament to discuss best ways forward when in a dlemma. It was in one of such parliaments that the idea of the postage stamp was suggested, it was ridiculed but later accepted and it worked and etc.

The CEO of Britain used to be the King or Queen but largely because of the difficulty of removing such a CEO, the British started using a Prime Minister from among the elected parliamentarians as head of government business. The King or Queen retained the right to be consulted, to advise and to warn as it is said, but in actual fact, the British monarch remains the most experienced politician in Britain if not the whole world. The CIA top echelons like President George H W Bush and etc may be more powerful because of the huge CIA budget and they may have had more horrible experiences but Queen Elizabeth have been receiving briefs from the secret service since 1952 when she was just 26. Among the Yoruba, the problem of removing the CEO was never an issue, Obas were routinely removed in the past, advised to go on exile or commit suicide depending on what he or she did wrong. The Oba was a servant of the Ogboni in the past. For example, Koru, Sango's elder brother was removed as Alaafin, his brother installed, when that one died, Koru was brought back and reinstalled as CEO or Oba.

The British worked together and all they achieved is as a result of their joining of hands together. The organisation is government and the symbol of the government is the monarch who is constrained to project the cherished values of Britain. The British monarch is the custodian of that value and she is more experienced than any PM can ever be since she has been in government since 1952.

The old system of using national CEOs is good, maybe even better than what we have today, so far they can be removed at any time and without fuss. The only change may be that any member of the nation should be able to seek that top job instead of restricting it to some families.

That old system that guided the British to the industrial revolution innovation is represented by Queen Elizabeth II today. If the British were subsistence farmers with no ambition not to talk of government or monarch, the story of our world might have been different.

I wish her God's blessings and many more years in good health and prosperity on this occasion of her 90th birthday.

The Lagos figures is why many people think there is something special in Lagos but what we should all know is that there is no property in Lagos, no real estate that does not pay Land use charges annually and there might be 10 million buildings in Lagos. No landlord escapes every year. they all pay without exception. This money should be going to the LGs as tenement but it goes to the state and Lagos is the only state in the country like that. that is the trick being played in Lagos. If Delta state have thesame policy, they will do almost half of Lagos IGR. Same with Anambra and in reality there is no reason why someone should be collecting rent without paying tenement rate.

So nothing special in Lagos, if Abia sits up, they will make up to 40 percent of Lagos IGR.
Then any state making 100 billion on tenement can make 1 trillion on income taxes.

Christianity EtcThe Liberal Spirit Taken Too Far by lawani(op):
The main thrust of the fascistic Abrahamic spiritualities is ‘Do not worship idols or deify anything’. The exact decree enacted by Pharaoh Akhenaten in Kemitic Egypt thousands of years ago. The people complied for as long as he was alive then reverted to status quo after his demise. The Pharaoh was post humously declared a heretic because his decree was anathemic to human culture. Back then, there was no threat of hell fire, the decree was probably made because of the excesses of some spiritualists back then. I believe Judaism is the remnant of Akhenaten’s religion and it later became worse when it became degraded to Christianity and Islam with their crazy obsession of taking over the world. Very sad.

Allah and Jehovah of Islam and Christianity respectively do not want you to worship anything or anyone but themselves. They have angels even if no associates, they send those angels on errands and those angels work very hard and are committed but if you worship them or greet them, Allah and Jehovah will go berserk to the extent of committing genocide. Muslims and Christians believe this has happened many times. This is the basic difference between Allah/Jehovah and the true God known to ancient humans including the parents of Mohammad. This God has a name in all human languages and can not be tied down to one name from one dialect.

Then the other aspect of Abrahamic religions which makes them different is their celebration of their super heroes, Jesus and Mohammed as something other humans can never become. God, son of God and last Prophet. This is where the two religions differ from Judaism that birthed them which have no such heroes.

Each sect of Christianity and Islam armed with what they consider as absolute truths which every human must agree with to be saved are all over the place trying to take over the world by offering people salvation outside morality. It was Emperor Constantine who first saw the concept as a good tool to control the minds of Roman subjects and turn them into fanatics for use in wars, from there to Islam and to the world we have today where Christians and Muslims massacre themselves and others. They see others as barbaric pagans and themselves as pure when the reverse actually is the case because other spiritualities are not militant, they learn from each other and do not condemn each other. Which then is the militant, demonic, incompatible with human civilization and uncultured group?

Aborishas can worship with any group be they Buddhists, Hindus, Shintos, Maiguzuwa and etc because we believe all human cultures are thesame but when you worship with Christians and Muslims who see you as filthy infidels, you are carrying the Liberal attitude too far. When people dont respect you, you are obliged not to respect them. No need to pander to people who are demon possessed to the extent of thinking they are in possession of absolute truth and that those who dont believe them will be burnt in hell by their God. Your duty is to explain to them with love that they are lost and need redemption, not to join them in worship, then maybe just maybe they may by chance still become normal humans.

It is not right to love and tolerate those who hate you, who are trying to eradicate you. So the right thing to do for the original Earth people is to band together and stop those who think they have the absolute truth. No one has absolute truth. So Shintos, Aborishas, Buddhists, Hindus, Wiccans and etc must band together and stop the demon possessed folks who want to continue dividing humanity into Zombified hate groups who are waiting for the apocalypse. New ones spring up from time to time with the sole ambition to take over the world. So there is an urgent need for a concerted intellectual engagement with these folks by people who know better. This must start before they crash this human civilization. Taking over the world is the clearly stated aim of the Redeemed Christian Church of God headquartered in Nigeria.
PoliticsWhy I Want Nigeria To Break Up by lawani(op): 1:56pm On Apr 20, 2016
If I were not sure that breaking up of the country is the best bet for the masses, I would not be supporting it. It is afterall immoral to do things purely for selfish reasons, maybe because the Yorubas have some crude oil and access to the sea, so the best bet will be to remove us and our 19th century allies from Nigeria, so that some other groups will be left high and dry. That is not the case, the problem is that Nigeria has failed and nation building is easier and more beautiful when culture and language are uniform. If you are on your own as a large family with the single objective of improving your lives, you are not viewing anyone with suspicion, speaking thesame language, then progress will be definitely faster and easier because interests will be properly alligned.

So if the Hausa in the North can be assurred that goods headed to their cities will not be tariffed in Lagos, PH or any Southern port, then they ought to have no reason to want to remain Nigerians except the motive is ulterior. They should raise their flag, declare their sovereignty and maintain it like their ancestors.

Some people say Hausas will suffer but that is a fallacy because if there is any state in Nigeria most capable of taking their destiny into their hands. That is Kano. They are more or less the only state where the elite can not muscle any party into power. In a place like Lagos, the opposition have consistently won elections and this government in Nigeria today is the first one Lagos will ever allign with in a democracy. They have not been changing ruling parties like diapers as do the Kanawa. The Kanawa have no use for the election tribunals, when a government is not performing, they remove that government on election day. A feat that proved impossible in Osun, Ondo and etc in the Southwest and other zones. So I know what to expect in a Hausa controlled country.

Nobody should be deluded into thinking the Hausas will suffer if Nigeria divides because they will be shocked. The best thing for the Hausas like for others is for the country to divide so that they control their space and start contributing their quota to human advancement.

So if you are not from a state that can remove a party from power on election day, you should not be thinking you can ever be better than the Kanawa politically because how can you help yourself if you can not even sack a government without running to the tribunal?
CultureRe: Igbos The Most Successful Ethnic Nationality In Africa by lawani(m): 7:09am On Apr 20, 2016
I agree that Lagos has a high number of Igbos but they control no LG like they do in Sabomgari Kano then APGA is well established in Plateau unlike Lagos. So your assertions unless proved maybe wrong. Igbos are about equal to Hausa population in Lagos. So if Igbos are 40 percent then Hausas should be 35 while other non Yoruba should be at least 20 percent making 95 with Yoruba as 5 percent yet all LG chairmen and elected politicians are always Yoruba until the last election when PDP used some Igbos and won in some areas, they could not do it without Yoruba support. So you had better wake up from your slumber and smell the coffee. Know where Igbos control and where they dont. There are Igbos in the West and there always will be just as we have Yorubas in the East.
CultureRe: Origin Of Ogoga, The Paramount Ruler Of Ikere Kingdom by lawani(m): 5:22am On Apr 20, 2016
In Ikere they have Benin legacies but Benin legacies are Ife in origin also as the name of the city was changed from an Edo name to a Yoruba name and only Yoruba used as lingua franca. The Europeans who settled in Benin learnt Yoruba and there was a Portuguese who wrote Benin language down as Umale okun mabia mabia, a prayer he said Benin people do pouring wine omn the ground which he said means Umale Okun I beg you. This is Yoruba language as all speakers can see not Edo. The old Benin were Yoruboid speakers but nowadays they use their local language. Oba Atakunmosa of Ijesa who introduced the Deji title in Akure spent over 60 years in Benin. The Benin of the past were just another Yoruba sub nation like Ijesa, Ijebu and etc and the language they spoke will be similar to Ilaje and Itsekiri. It is the Benin of nowadays that are now Edoid. The old Ife Benin established Yoruboid speaking outposts all over Ago Onibode is one now rendered Agenebode, Ogba land, Onitsha and etc were also out posts and a part of Lagos island but all those people controlling those places in the past spoke a Yoruboid dialect. They are not really same as today's Benin people in identity since the Benin of nowadays place themselves above Ife origin unlike other Yoruba who agree on Ife origin even as far as Togo and Ghana including ethnic groups who do not speak Yoruba.

So when people claim origin from Benin. They should rnder it properly as Ife Ibinu which is Benin's real name, a defunct Ife successor states that was headquartered in Benin city and that was fully Yoruba in identity not Edo.

There were Edoid state in the past like Igodomigodo and others built by Urhobo, Esan and etc in the far past when even the Yoruba spoke Akokoid tongues but they definitely far preceded Benin or Ife Ibinu which was fully Yoruba in identity.

One thing is that the Edoid groups, Nupoid and etc have been there as far back as any group and the languages are probably more original to this area since unlike Yoruboid tongues they are not similar to ancient Egyptian but that the Yoruba changed language from their Akoko tongues do not make them less of who they are. If we start speaking only English today while maintaining our stories, it does not change the validity of those stories.

So the Ogoga, Obi Onitsha, Oba Ogba land and etc are descendants of Ife Ibinu people like Owomika (Eweka) like the Oba of Benin but the people who are Yoruba are more representative of Owomika than those who now have other identities. It is why I say the Olu of Warri is more representative of the old Benin empire than the Oba of Benin in all respects. They still speak the language and they regularly worship Umale okun.
