In a press conference with AIT, the leadership of PDP in Kogi state has condenmed Atiku for trying to dictate to the party the choice of governorship candidate in the upcoming primaries in the state. The spokesperson for the state leadership , Faruk Adejoh Audu, called Dino Melaye a mascot and clown, with no record of employment, who disgraced Kogi State in the past by fighting in the House of Reps in 2010.

'That even before the contest in kogi is to start that the people's Democratic party is undermining its own fortune in our state. It is our party that is about to defeat our party in our state not even the APC, by manipulating the delegates list. And we now believe that even if we go for primaries now they will try to manipulate the process again so that their preferred candidates will emerge. Everybody knows this preferred candidate and its actually very disheartening and I'm not going to hesitate because of course I'm not going to start speaking in riddle, the preferred candidate of the leadership happens to be one man called Daniel Melaye, alias dino, who was the mascot of the presidential campaign.

So if somebody was a clown in your campaign and you are very pleased with the performance of the mascot, that he made you laugh or insulted people for you is that enough to award the governorship ticket of our state to him. I mean who are we talking about, the dino melaye we are talking about, check his record. This man has never been employed one day, he has never. The only job he has done was that he came in 2007, I was in government then, he came to drop Obasanjos name and Ibrahim gave him ticket to go and run for House of reps. He went there and disgraced Kogi thoroughly. He was suspended from House of rep and remained on suspension until that Republic, I mean until that tenure expired, he was on suspension, he fought his shirt was torn, that is the person we want to award.
It shows a lot of contempt for the state we come from for anybody to sit down and think that Daniel Melaye alias Dino, is who you will now pick, you will ignore everybody, ignore Senior Advocates of Nigeria, ignore captains of Industry who are looking for this ticket. You will deny them the opportunity of a free contest, just to hand over.

Jonathan approved N325million for the planning and design of the bridge. For design. He did not even start any work on it and 325 million gone.

This particular nassarawa road and other roads that will be constructed (see list below because it includes eastern roads) have adequate funding from SUKUK and will not be tolled. The onitsha-okija-nnewi road will also be completed this year.

Fashola works fast cos many of these federal roads have been abandoned since 1999 due to stealing or lack of funds. Tolling solves the lack of funds problem.

The second niger bridge along with many others that dont have adequate funding will be tolled. See attachment showing others. They prioritized your project, worth N336 billion, because of the need and now youre complaining that they handled it first.

The answer is largely dependent on how much her dad is willing to hand over...Otedola is worth over 1bn USD at the moment...so it's safe to say she's worth at least 2m USD

Rich parents dont just transfer money to their children. Rich parents open trustfunds in their kids names from when theyre young and regularly place monthly payments in it up to a certain age. By the time the kids have access to the funds in their adulthood the money would have multiplied significantly and the child has access to all that money .eg. if otedola opens a trustfund account with JPMorgan in Cuppys name and dumped $3million dollars in their when cuppy was a child, by the time cuppy is 18, 21 or 30 (or whenever age she has access to her trustfund), the money in the account would have become like $18million if its a good wealth management company. So at that age, Otedola doesnt need to be giving her money. Its all in her account. Some parents put restrictions on age of access and also on what the money cannot be withdrawn for.

This is what ALL wealthy educated men do and this is why a lot of them dont see the need to leave inheritances for their children. Trustfund kids are already set for life. Inheritance is extra assets.

Yes. shes giving out 100,000 every year for `10 years. So each year if ur an african student and have admission into oxford for a graduate program, you can apply for her fund and if u pass the requirements (most scolarship funds have requirements such as admission letter, letter of good character, letter requesting reason for why you need the funds for your scolarship). The money approved will then be knocked out of your school fees. Some people are lucky enough to get full scholarships out of scholarship funds depends on the application.

Im sure she did it because many african students that even get admission into oxford cant afford the school fees. Its too expensive.
