He sent me an email if I would let it go for $5000, told him NO , 5 days or so later he emailed that the buyer had agreed to pay the $7000. I asked if i will be getting exact $7k, as I did not want a single deduction. He said yes the buyer would be paying all fees. The wire transfer got to my account 2 days after I clicked "I agree" in the link he sent me.

Congrats on ur sale. For some one that sold a name for 7K and another name for 18K I don't think you need this thread again.

From ur post...u r already a veteran domainer. An expert also in negotiation.

Some of us in this thread like me...are still dreaming to make 2K sale.

I think what u need is to enroll for DNAcademy. Ur skills done done pass this thread. I don't have enough fund to enroll for it yet.

In the spirit of giving back, can u please share the names sold. And from which market place u got them. And what you look at in buying your names. And the names in ur portfolio were they for personal projects. Thank you.

PS My first and only sale was last month; I was initiated into domaining last October. Currently on page ~815 of this great thread, a goldmine of business ideas. Salute to the OP and every member who has contributed beneficially.

I'm a newbie ...&learning. Don't consider my answers to ur questions as an expert. U'd have to figure what works best for u as u journey along.

1. I send emails from Tuesday to Friday. Sometimes skip Friday.
2. From 2pm-once it's 9pm I'm done with domaining. U can do 9m till midnight if u can.
3. If it has UpTo 50 end users confirmed email address u stand a chance+ other factors checked. But personally like right now, I won't register this name.
4. Ma email done lost. I try as much to answer questions nd drop everything here.

Congrats on ur sale. As far as u don't give up u may turn out to be d next Braden Pollock. Gdluck Sir.

I'm also a newbie. Pls, read this thread for at least 1year if u aren't IT orientated. If u have IT knowledge at least 4 to 5 months jotting stuff down. Contact Ikpromotions for proper training...before u go register name.

Domaining isn't running anywhere. Ppl will continue to run business online no need to be in a rush. Settle down nd read.

I didn't say u should go and pitch unregistered name. It is lack of reading that cause this question. The first question too also lack of reading ..all these have been answered before.

Epik. When I started it was with Epik. All my sales and the same domain I started in Epik r still in Dan. And I've sold greater numbers at Epik. It was in the 1st quarter of 2022 I switched completely to Dan. So Iv made more sales at Epik than Dan. And d portfolio had a major boost this last month from XYZ.

No external money. Fraction of sale is invested back

This month is my highest Geo sale month for 2022.

I sold 3 Geos this month.

Tho this ma strategy is kind of slow..no momentum but u can make small money like btwn 100+ every month wt minimal outbound. This week I haven't outbound UpTo 4 names ... despite having much time. I also have many end users that don't want to pay from Jan to now..we done ghost...each month like 4 end users or 5 ft ghost...we move

I'm focusing more on quality now for Geo than quantity. Doing thorough scrutiny like I had highlighted in the subsequent post before I reg. I even renewed one Geo that later sold this year.

I hold about 120 Geo name now...many go drop the rest na other domain types.

Sold 1 for 600, another for 350 & and one for 500 which I reported in the subsequent post.

Money done hard for dix country..to avoid much losses nd maximize d probability of sale that is if u r using the QUALITY METHOD:

1. Ensure it's a fresh name that hasn't been outbounded previous year.
2. Get end users before registering except if he sure say 100percent end users dey.
3. Find high paying niche
4. Price well 200, 250, 300, 350..... Depending on industry
5. Reduce price in subsequent follow-ups
6. Ensure emails not entering spam
7. Have backup emails..if Mr A begin enter spam Mr. B feat no enter.

Keep trying..sub IKpromo class, read this thread..read Yogi solanki blog, read Ikhalyfah blog, try nd fail..if u believe in God; add prayers..

how do you find time to do 10 follow ups? seems like a lot. Are there times you have like 7-10 names on different stages of the 10-stage-follow-up process?

After 3 months of absconding from SH. I received 45usd for a for of my domain name I had submitted in their market place to SH name contest for new and existing businesses.

And I could remember that day I thought it's been long I entered SH let me submit some names in their contest and surprisingly today something said I should login now...to see how I can boost my listings further.. and I saw d congratulation notification.

One can stackup money from SH contest alongside gain insight on the type of names end users like and trending niches...plus u r providing more exposure for ur domains....

Torr..if it come turn to spamming. At 10 followups I just move on....nd re-schedule for the d next cycle of outbound probably after 6months. If e no still sale..then I allow to drop.

I'm not an expert. But if I were to choose for my own outbound. Na only number one....I go buy. And perhaps d last one...if it has UpTo 40 or 50 correct end users.

Lol, had to change Ns to porkbun where I registered it and told her to buy there. she went ahead and bought from porkbun immediately. Porkbun sent $93 to me on the 15th day of the next month as domain sold on the 20th.They say they only payout on the 15th of every month.Imgine waiting for one month before u get paid.
Naso last month go. Also sold Bey/ond/meta.net $125 I reduced the price from $1500 to 125 and it sold within hours as if someone was watching it.

Those two names na correct name..i think dey could have gone for more...dt first woman own I think what happened was she got a cold feet has u accepted d first offer..perhaps you should have countered with 500 or 1k as na brandable perhaps she's looking to setup her business.......dt other second name d .com version na easily 4 figure name...but I think with patience, d .net also works with META would have sold via Afternic fast transfer for low 1xxx.

But a sale is a sale... liquidity is all that matters.

d fact u r getting inbound offer shows u know wetin u dey do....and whatever method u r using is a good model.

Check dns history of the domain...there are free tools for that via google

Idea: u can go over Google to search for marketing sales letter....edit and tweak to ur taste..

U can get sales letter gig in Upwork, Fiverr etc from marketing experts for 5 to 10 usd...edit and tweak to ur taste.

So many sales letter flying in Namepros.

Signature design, company logo etc....u can outsource them from expert and paste in ur outbound for little as 5usd.

In my first sale letter I don't attach been price part of avoiding it to enter Spam. Because if d first letter doesn't enter Spam..d subsequent follow-ups wouldn't.

So in my second follow-up I attach d bin price on d lander.

Subsequent follow-ups I attach reduced bin prices.

I do max of 10 followups.

It's a Geo name (Qualitative attributes) of which I had mentioned in many of my previous post:

1. End users( availability of emails in Gmap, Google, Bing, Facebook).
2. Similar variant hasn't been registered by another domainer for outbound and sometimes d probability dt similar variant is not about to drop soon.
3. Domain hasn't been outbounded the previous year and didn't sell.

By God Grace. Jst read the thread for at least 4 months before buying any name while jotting down sales report(data is important in domain, history can always repeat itself. That's what I did....despite having money with me from my npower monthly stipend of n30K and coming from a WordPress and SEO background I didn't rush to reg anything.

Also subscribe for Iykepromotions tutorial(highly recommended).

I remember that time..myself & Ikhalyfah emerged in d group d same time asking questions nd reading for months...now, not that I know anything, not still confident enough...still learning & making mistakes. All d best.
