RomanceRe: Women: How Do You React When You Feel It That Your Husband Cheats On You? by Leilah(f): 9:08pm On Aug 11, 2008
kark Ken! that cannot be true oh the one I know is a wonderful wife and mother of four children and she never has any money she is the opposite of greedy, she buys her clothes in charity shops and still manages to look good. To no avail though, At least she is still making an affort. Any spare money she has she donates it to the choir the odd time.

Sistawoman, I have had this conversation with many naija ladies. Apparently praying is the solution. For me, eh brake his legs, then have a think about how I'll get my own revenge. I also know plently of ladies who are well aware of their husbands cheating but they say they will remain married til death do them part, even after the mistress becomes pregnant. angry

FoodRe: Recipe For Ukazi And Uha(ora) Soup by Leilah(f): 10:44am On Aug 05, 2008
Uha leaves
Crayfish (blended)
Achi or Ukpo (I use cornflour)
Assorted Meats
Stock Fish
Dry Fish
Snail (I cant get them here so I leave them out and make up by adding lots of dry fish)
Peppers
Salt
2 ogiri
knorr cubes (six)
palm oil

Directions

Precook meat, season to taste
When your meat is ready,

Add crayfish, assorted fish and soup thickener and little bit palm oil to a pot of water and cook til it looks thick

When you have achieved your desired consistencie, add the Uha to the pot and cook for another 3-5 minutes, and disolve ogiri wraps in some water and add to the pot. I then cook it for a little bit more (about ten mins or so)

I serve it with Ola Ola pounded yam (its so nice)

Not sure if this is even the correct way,

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS:

ON A TYPICAL DAY LETS SAY HUSBAND WORKS 40 HRS AND WIFE WORKS 40 HOURS.

DOES HUSBAND COME HOME, SIT DOWN WIFE GO STRAIGHT TO KITCHEN COOK DINNER SERVE HUSBAND, WASH DISHES, CLEAN UP MESS. THEN, GETS KIDS BATHED AND PUT TO BED. ETC ETC.

HUSBANDS WHAT DO YOU DO IN THIS CASE (ON THE DAYS YOU BOTH WORK)?

SIT DOWN, SPREAD OUT AND WAIT TO BE SERVED?

WHAT IS THE POSITION ON THIS IS YOUR CULTURE? DOES A WOMAN STILL HAVE TO DO SAME HOUSEWORK ETC AS IF SHE WERE A FULL TIME HOUSEWIFE? IE JUST B'COS SHE WORKS SHOULD THAT CHANGE ANYTHING?
