Anything can happen in football, what if Korea beat Brazil, and we top our group
Laughing out loud in Swahili ....don't forget ,they ve conceived 9 goals in 2 matches , meaning they can still conceive more .... But nothing is impossible .. They can end up in a draw though .

Oga, I agree with u. But this Germany strong sha. Germany thrashed Austria 4-0 when they met in the semis of the European Championship.
One thing is special about the German , they usually score plenty of goals both at the senior level and junior level , that shows how deadly they can be in front of goals , but if they meet another attacking side they will bow ...if we re lucky to avoid them , then at another knock out stage we will meet again . The flying eagles re not easy too , ones they can understand themselves better we will become deadly . A win against the Hungarian will really help in raising d level of our confidence, and sharpen our attacking prowess .... One thing about Taiwo is that ones he starts scoring he will never stop .

The weather consideration makes me lighten my anger with Mustapha, Enaholo and Awoniyi.
But they have not really complained about weather acclimatization, if their is anything like that ? The. it's a failure on the part of Nff , they chose the wrong preparation venue .... so they say "that part of Germany where they had the preparation has the same weather with Newzealand ....so bro ,what are u talking about ?
Three weeks is a enough for their body to adjust . That excuse is not valid ...the problem the team had at the first leg was selection error , having too many good hands for the job .if Manu had been very firm , the result would have been positive and we will not be in this state .

On the average ,Germany has scored 5.5 goals per match ...it's better we avoid them now till we re ready to match them strength for strength .

I see Gabar want attackers who can fall back to help the defense line also , I can see that he really trusted Awoniyi ...

likely line up

Enaholo, muhammad, nustapha, ndidi, bello, ifeanyi, idowu, sokari, Ezeh, bulbwa, Awoniyi
If we go by this line up we will see a lot of long range shot from Bubwa . Nothing like that against the Brazilian .

Happy idowu is back, expect a better defensive display even though we should beat north korea. Idowu is disciplined.. Ifeanyi ifeanyi was too forward minded.
Thank you for this comment ! Idowu has always been very disciplined and he knows his job well ...where is this dude link ?

Sports › FIFA President Sep Blatter Has Just Resigned!!! by lexyman(op): 6:11pm On Jun 02, 2015
After so much pressure from around the world of soccer , the longest serving president fifa has resigned .

The president of 17 years has stepped down in light of the corruption scandal sweeping through the world governing body

Sepp Blatter has announced he will step down as president of Fifa, calling an extraordinary congress "as rapidly as possible" at which a successor will be selected.

The Swiss announced his decision at a hastily-arranged press conference on Tuesday after his secreatry-general Jerome Valcke had earlier been implicated in the US Department of Justice's investigations into a $10m payment to indicted former Fifa vice-president Jack Warner.

Thats actually the least problem if it was a problem at all.. .. Even with Idowu in the pitch the eagles would have still lost with the way the whole team played.

The tactics employed for the game was too rudimentary... The players were not complementing each other... I wonder what would have happened if yahaya was benched for Moses as some people here wanted.... Na die e for be..

When you have a good sriker like Isaac you dont need wingers who can score a hat-trick.. You need midfielders who can provide assist and shield the defense line... .

Manu no hear grin
Bro just listen to yourself self . U said they need midfieders who can give passes to a reliable striker ? If u read my comment throughly , I said d role of Idowu would have been to shield d defense and this will allow d midfielders to play their role well . I ve been following this team since their under 17 and Idowu has been a pivot to the team . It was nau tactics that failed him , he had d intention of playing pure attacking football , and if u look at Ifeanyi Mathew and Ifeanyi ifeayi. They do well in attacking more , their role majorly is to lob balls to d attack line also create chances but the style failed manu .
I hope next match will not be dsame
Sports › Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by lexyman(m): 9:17am On Jun 01, 2015
What happened to tiki-taka style? Our player kept lobbing the ball .
The inactiveness of d midfield cost us the game . Manu has now felt the absence of Idowu ,who is d most used player in d under 17 and under 20 matches , he is a silent worker that u can't write off ,brings balance to d team and his shielding ability can bring out the best in other midfielders . The midfield made our defense line to look weak .... If u watch the match all through the midfield went to sleep through out the match ... It was d defense line and d attack line that played d match all through . In total all boils down to tactical error , the team can do better if those errors are been corrected . I give kudos to d brazilians , they play accurate dead balls and majority of the players are ball jogglers they do all sorts with d ball to beat our boys and the marking ability was fantastic.

Simple Manu change ur tactics ,this will enable u to win other matches .

Brazilian took 4 corner kick and it was directly connecting to the head of their players ... This is really impressive Nigeria needs to learn something from that !
Sports › Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by lexyman(m): 2:57am On Jun 01, 2015
The defense is too expose , d defensive midfielders has not really done well , this has kept Iheancho out of the game .

Ndidi is protecting Musa, but Bello is not doing such a great job for Mustapha.

Ifeanyi Ifeanyi is not mopping up nicely.
That's why I like Idowu , knos how to shield the defense , but manu's plan is pure attacking
