My humble Obserbations:

The goalie and his defenders spoilt d good work dat d midfield and attack did by letting dat goal in.

Godwin Savior has proven y Manu kept fate wih him and Yahaya has proven y he fell out of favour.

Awoniyi and Yahaya dnt seem to b ready for this level of competition.

Junior Ajayi seems to b stronger and more competitive than Awoniyi.

Daniel Etor and Oghenekaro are the 2 engine rooms of the team. They are very hard working. Okechukwu d captain too is good.

With d exception of the slip that caused the goal, the defense is solid and matured.

Our goalie is nt convincing.

With the way d boys played they can get a result in Congo.I think we'll squeeze through to d next rnd.
Awoniyi had a knock before the match , that was why he came. In as a substitute , don't forget that the midfield went to sleep after they were denied d red. Card , also the penalty ...yahaya was'not in good form too .

Siasia has some personal issues with Sokari.Simple.
He doesn't have any personal issue with Sokari ,since after the World Cup Sokari went for trials in Europe. He came in a week to the the qualifying match ... And u want him to be part of the team? My opinion I think Sia1 is right for his omission , he can be part of the team in the 2nd leg .

TheGoodJoe:

I am not excited because Oliseh is the most inexperienced coach I have ever witnessed in National team football of a historically top team. It shows a lot how Amaju Pinnick is confused as the head of the NFF.

I will support him but Oliseh's appointment is wrong.
I think they made the right choice , he's d most qualified coach we have now.

Interms of experience , he knows his weakness that was why he came with the expatriate .although I am a super fan of Steven Keshi , but I wil give Oliseh the support because the whole plan on paper looks juicy and they want the team to succeed ...I don't expect anything to happen now but I think the future is bright .
Amaju can't go wrong with the choice of Coach , he has been preparing himself taking a lot of training regarding football matters in the past 15 years and he's surrounded by some of our best player in the past ,as part of the technical study group ... For them to consider Oliseh , I am giving them d support . Bro let's support d Mafia , he can handle the team.
Sports › Re: If You Don't Play First Division You Can't Play For Super Eagles Anymore - Olise by lexyman(m): 11:14pm On Jul 16, 2015
Nice move by Oliseh. But this will enhance the standard of game of our players and it will make them seat tight and play d game with passion ....most of them now chase money they completely forgot the fame .

Also I feel the standard of football worldwide as dropped ... For the past 7yrs it's been btw messi and Ronaldo , I remembered back then it was btw 5/6 players . This time around it will be adviceable for Oliseh to be careful and make d right decision .

coach av been losing job since 1888bc thre shuld be no drama. russia also sack the country manager also. oliseh didn't seem to b d best but wen are we goin to start givin chance to our very own. I will only advice NFF to gve him like 2-3yrs contract wit some clause based on performance or qualification. with dis thre will b no interference den his best will b measurable.
goodluck oliseh
Don't compare Russia kind of sack to Keshi's sack or any other coach in the world ....Keshi or Oliseh that have not commence d job will pray for such sack .... Capelo was sacked and he was compensated with eleven million pounds . .

I am seriously with u on this ... Someone shld tell Op that ,this is Nigeria , we are not Oyinbo and we will not behave like one cos we want people to respect us in that regard .... Even the bible made me to understand that we shldnt be wasteful . If what I am doing is not a sin and I am not causing harm to anybody , I don't think I want to stop it . In the world of today so many things have been redefined , u have to follow the trend . Soon that book that you picked as ur manual that erroneously showed you that taking food pack out of the plane is Ucultured has been updated ... You re now reading the old version ....go and look for the new version those error has been corrected

Antoinne:
Can someone please explain to me why people (especially girls) keep taking airplane food out of the aircraft? Aero, Medview, First nation and a couple other airlines always serve with some kind of 'take-awa' pack, but should people have to take these packs away out of the airplane like uncultured men, carrying them about the airplane like they are some party gifts? angry angry
Do u know that the airliner wants you to take the pack away by making it to look decent and presentable ,so that other passengers that have boarded the aircraft of their counter parts can see it when u re on ground .... Indirectly it's a form of advert they ve not paid for ? I think the airline should even pay me for showing people out their the hospitality I enjoyed in the aircraft .

Been cultured in your terms could mean a different thing to me .i don't think I will ever put a stop to this habit , whenever I fly aero their take home pack goes home with me .

But team have passed the test already it will only help them to know who the super power is. Senegal has just proved that , they ain't fluke in the AYC .

lucky for us all, I'm not an expert grin

Everyone shared similar views going by their preparations, so what's your point?
He failed to understand the point u were tryn to make ,I also made such comment before the World Cup , because the media made us to believed that the malians were denied visa to train in their chosen destination also I can't remember that part that said they were not financially buoyant also ....all boils down to lack of preparation , in fact ,the media painted it so bad that we all felt they will not do well , and we went to tip Ghana and Nigeria to represent Africa . As a football lover you , everyone is free to say what is on his/her mind .

guys check out the heroic saves of the Senegalese keeper ibrahim sy against Ukraine. the guy is good. reminds me of adeboye in our under 17 winning squad penalty kick against spain in the final in Korea.

The keeper is very good , he denied us of so many goals in the AYC , until " the Hangman " Bulbwa execute him ... I pitied his funny look when the ball entered the net ....Africa is becoming more mature and our reign may last for many years in the world football.

who will you prefer between the two?
I will prefer Sokari , cos of his rocket shorts , the escape velocity of is something that can send any keeper to the other side .
The German keeper will have a feel come Thursday .

@leecodeman. your analysis was good but u don't judge by none competitive matches , you added preparatory matches which were the friendlies they played , if we are to go by number of friendlies the super flying eagles has played then we will be counting up to 30goals in the last 10matches and that record will make the German look like the cheap side ,I would have preferred u base ur analysis on number of games the Germans has played in this competition goals scored , and goals conceded .also number of times we have met at this age grade completion

The German machines has has about 6 of their players on the scoring sheet in which 3 of them has registered 3 goals each in this competition and variably others have scored 2goals and 1 goal respectively .in total they have scored total of 16goals in 3matches

. Meaning they re the team with the highest number of goals. On the average they have scored 5.5 goals per match .
Conceded only 2 . Average of about 0.8 goal per match .

On the super flying eagles side . We have also played total number of 3 matches. With 8goals to show for it average of about 2.8 goals per match .also we have conceded the same number of goal in this competition 2goals in 3matches ,average of about 0.8 goal per. Also ,we have about 5players on the scoring sheet ,3 players with 2 goals each and others with 1 goal respectively .

We have met Germany at this age grade level 3times,German won twice and we had a win .

We are under 20 African champion and the German are under 20 Europe champion .

From this analysis it means the German has a edge over us in terms of goals scoring and past record . But I believe the super flying eagles can do wonders ,and are equal to the task by leveling their ability with the German and also surpass them with number of goals at the end of 90 mins . One thing will work for us ...#team work and ,individual brilliance will spice it up !

#Go super flying eagles
