symbolofhope:Which segment do you find difficult: verbal or numeric? |
Match fixed. |
The Field Marshall of imposition-based consensus suddenly now wants democracy. So strange. |
There's something fishy about his continuous attack on only Osinbajo. He seems to be afraid of something. |
Sannisege:Even if you succeed in decieving your victim, you cannot succeed in deceiving yourself. So keep deceiving yourself that what Tinubu does is endorsement and not imposition. To you it is endorsement, to others it is imposition. Choose the one you want. The sky is wide enough for all bids to fly without colliding. |
BAT relies so much on his ability to buy delegates. He is extremely confident of his war chest. I don't see how the north will give him a Christian VP and that's his biggest hurdle despite his massive war chest. Even if he emerges the APC flagbearer, he will most certainly lose the election to PDP who must have chosen a balanced religious ticket. |
NwokoloOwa:Grateful to Tinubu for what.... Tinubu discovered Osinbajo because Osinbajo had endearing qualities. Tinubu didn't fall Osinbajo to serve out of pity. Wasn't Osinbajo a special adviser to a one-time Attorney-General of the Federation years before Tinubu appointed Osinbajo..... Tinubu isn't God to be superior to every other person. Some people also discovered Tinubu and gave him the chance to climb the ladder. You cannot limit your aspirations in life because of your boss, especially in a situation where time is of the essence and once past the age, you cannot aspire to it anymore. |
Sanwo-Olu no get work again. |
It's strange that Tinubu now wants democracy rather than the way he has always imposed candidates. In fact, he just imposed Sanwo-Olu last week. |
Abeg post the link to the video. TheRareGem1: |
Just go to registry for another wedding certificate. Explain the issue to them so they won't bore you with other things, you will just do the documentation and pay the necessary fees, without doing the ceremony associated. |
No be anger o. I am EH, but it's important we discuss these issues once in a while. No matter how we continue to shy away from it, it continues to divide us further & further. The fact that we benefit from an unjust system doesn't mean we shouldn't say the truth. We can benefit today but what of posterity. I am quite sure generations of Nigerians who lived in the sixties, seventies, eighties wouldn't have predicted an evil like the boko haram insurgency, but see where injustice has led us. darado: |
OK. Please do a research and tell us the number of candidates from Zamfara State or Kebbi State, that registered for WAEC, NECO and JAMB in 2019. Also tell us the cut-off mark for Zamfara & Kebbi State indigenes, for entry into the Federal government colleges. Then state the cut-off mark of any two States you choose to pick from the South-west, South-west or South-south. Your statistics will prove how competitive the educational system in the north is. And if you are so sure of how strong northerners are in education, please clamour for the abolishment of federal character. KAYL3B: |
I don't feel wronged nor do some people feel wronged that northerners got in. The wrong is that a northerner should not get into a place with 40% and a southerner who scored 80% denied the same place, and you openly call such a system "merit-based". It's a fact that many northerners will not be occupying seats they are occupying today if we go by true merit. Even your reverred and highly educated Emir Sanusi Lamido said it earlier this week that the North should not think federal character will help them in the future and they should rather be ready to compete on equal level. I opine you can't be more northern than the Emir, but he chose to speak the truth while you shy away from it with appeal to emotions of if I have superior knowledge than northerners. I bear no grudge against northerners, because I really do pity their downtrodden. Despite the privilege they have and systems like federal character being applied to favour them, they are still the ones you find doing the crudest & dirtiest of jobs even in the south. They are the ones you find littering & begging for alms in the south. Why not champion the application of federal character to the Super Eagles and other national teams.... Dmamasboy: |
The phrase "Federal Character" means merit has been sacrificed already! Hence you can never claim that the any process that is subject to federal character is on merit, because federal character implies that some people who are less performing, say, from the educationally less developed States, will find their way in, above candidates who totally flawed them from the educationally advanced states. How do you deny a candidate from the south-south who scored 80% and allow a candidate from the north-east who scored 40%, and still have the audacity to say such a process was on merit? No! It's not. We've already used federal character to sacrifice merit in order to favour some folks. Ditto for why cut-off mark for entry into the Federal Government Colleges varies. A candidate from Zamfara State will have a cut-off mark of 23% & a candidate from Ogun State will have a cut-off mark of 85%, and you call that process merit-based? So, such a process lacks merit from the beginning once federal character principles apply. Ask candidates that went for interview at the Towers and they will tell you for a fact that you hardly hear names from the geographical "upper" regions of the country when names were being called in the amphitheater. It was claimed that some powerful folks were not happy with that & decided to "adjust" the process to aid more people from those "upper" regions of the country to come in. For a process that started speedily to now take nine months between conclusion of interviews to issuance of APLs.... Lastly, note the use of the phrase "National Spread" which the NNPC used in its communique, it showed a desperation to validate the process. They've turned it to a game of luck. |
Hmmmm. Your sister got it on merit but you have a top source in NNPC. Nobody will ever claim s/he was aided. Ihategirls: |
Hello Guys. Please advise how one can estimate the value of an structure on a piece of land. Just the structure (which is an uncompleted building) only. The cost of land in the area is known, but since there is an uncompleted building on the land, there is a need to determine the value of the uncompleted structure to know if the asking price is reasonable. Very sound professional advice will be appreciated. |
Cheato64:Then continue enjoying it na since you can't be firm. You're a man and you're saying you can't be firm, then let her continue controlling you. If you don't tame her now, your old age (sixties above) is when you will see more hell. You better be firm and rein her in now, or you keep enjoying it. |
The answer to your question is crystal clear to you. How can you be constantly assaulted and humiliated by an unrepentant man that has the audacity to treat you so bad whilst still seeking your hand in marriage, and you're still asking if you should continue with him? Just ask yourself and imagine what he will do to you after marrying you and he presumes he owns you. Flee from a potential life of misery and assault that could endanger your life. You've been warned enough. |
Crap journalism. Nothing new from what we are already aware of. One lazy journalist just sitting somewhere to put together different opinions already expressed on the issue. The writer should go get busy and do some good investigative journalism, say about the North East crisis. ijustdey: |
panalyst:TRUE; applications in October 2012, aptitude test in December 2014, interview SMS invite in February 2015, suspension shortly after and.........all went blank till today. I guess those positions were filled through the backdoor. NB: I got the interview invite then. |
DanXplore:Try to comprehend things oga. The issue is whether God is a factor and I can tell you yes, he is. It's not only capacity that helps you to attain positions in life, some other factors must work for you. And that's what many people refer to in different ways: grace, luck, favour, time & chance, G-factor, etc. This is a recruitment in which several factors are being used simultaneously. You could be the best from your state but the position you applied for has to be taken by another candidate from another state due to federal character principle, and boom, you're out despite having performed excellently. It simply means time & chance didn't favour you. Was GEJ the best in terms of capacity when he assumed the position of president, ditto for PMB..will you say Mai Kanti Baru was the best in NNPC when he was made the GMD, ditto for Mele Kyari.... Was Emefiele the best the banking sector could offer when he became CBN governor, was Buratai the best in the army when he became COAS... In a place like Nigeria where ethnicity & nepotism is rife, you could be the best but your ethnicity won't favour you. Will you see PMB choosing his ADC from a tribe other than his... There was a time the best two 500L students in the department of petroleum engineering in one of the foremost federal universities in Nigeria were to be sent on an excursion overseas. The best two students were male and the 3rd best was a female. Suddenly the sponsors and the department just decided that one of the two students should be a female. That was how the 2nd best student was sacrificed so the unqualified female could join the excursion. A reflection of all these scenarios simply tells you that it's not only demonstrated capacity that takes you to where you aim for in life, other factors (not obvious or seen) must work for you. |
DanXplore:Just remember that virtually everyone prays to God for protection, yet people will still die today, tomorrow and everyday thereafter. So what criteria will God choose in picking those he will spare their lives..... Will he spare those that have demonstrated capacity in crossing the road, or those that have demonstrated capacity in driving without hitting another road user, or those that can sleep without closing their eyes, or those who are extra careful to know when their gas cylinders are expired or about to explode....... Did God love Jacob more than Esau, did God love Peter more than Judas, and for you that you're still in the process: does God love you more than those that are better than you in terms of capacity, but have died in the course of the process..... Just being open-ended. holujay: |
In my opinion, I think job interviews should be totally devoid of anything political or religious. Even the panel wouldn't ask any question that has political and religious undertone and as a candidate, it's best to steer clear of asking such question too, lest the panel interprete one as a likely controversial person whose working preferences and interpersonal relationships could be affected by such issues. The mail came in just after the message came in. I received another mail to that effect again this morning. Kaspa007: |
Feels good you mentioned Zain Africa Challenge, which I participated in. NaotoKan: |
Be it chicken, lizard, alligator, snake, frog, ostrich, goat, cow, human, assume the first one that comes to your mind whenever you hear "egg" or come across the word "egg". It's that straightforward. special1Z: |
Egg shape should be ellipsoid, I think people who did Further Maths can relate. Orange & the earth are spherical cuz they are a little bit flattened at the top & bottom poles. T4kbaba: |
They can measure accuracy but certainly not speed in this type of test where everyone had the luxury of time. The duration should have been somewhat in the region of 15mins to 20mins if speed is desired. Chukeg: |
Cool down candidate, don't be too excited. It's the end result that matters. You are competing with tens of thousands of other candidates. ofurufu: |
Are you competing or just having an experience..... nickae: |

obviously, it is the person that has demonstrated potential capacity to be a solution provider in NNPC that will get the job since God is now a common denominator to all applicants. Abi does God love you more than the other applicants?
