RIP to the dead |
guy, i will advice you to forgive her and calm down your emotions at times the bad can be the best. with the way you said she is begging you, i know she must have been good girl turned bad. you can still bring her back to her senses by talking to her deeply and see where the two of you missed it. woman/women are made of fish brains which can be easily reset by ordinarily consistent phone call from a desperate nonenty who only wants to sleep with them. thereby seeing there ever busy husband has not been caring again towards them. talk to her, and make sure hence fought you pound her like a sweet girl friend. who knows may be you are not rocking her better. more so, engage her in dirty sexxy talks 99% of ladies /married women loved hearing it which most married men are not saying to there wife. hence they tend to follow the bad guy who says that to them. read it and digest it may God bless you and your home |
please everyone, though its hard. buhari has failed truely but he needs to repeat this class. please lets allow him to repeat again. thanks |

That place was called place of no return in Badagry. During the slave era, slaves were converged in that area before been moved to Europe or outside Nigeria. All d slaves were forced to drink from that well and the moment you drink from it even up till now you experience immediate memory loss. But a bridge has been built there now and named place of returned. For those that doesn't believe, experience they say is better than imagination which means personal trial can convince you. |
Adam is a stupid man. But one student told Governor. Amount "if u want 21st century students behavior then you give 21st century University funding". They just open their mouth and talk rubbish. Most Nigerians schooling abroad are doing great why? Pls call Adam I to come and answer my question. |

Residents of Mushin area of Lagos are still living in an atmosphere of fear after Sunday’s mayhem in which their homes were looted and a man was allegedly killed. Saturday PUNCH visited the area on Wednesday to see what has changed since the incident, but observed that many of the residents are afraid that the hoodlums who carried out the attack might soon come back as they reportedly promised. Some of the residents, who told our correspondent their stories, insisted the perpetrators, who they said numbered more than 50, came from Akala Street, Mushin. Ike Olu Street was the most affected area. There were still remnants of shattered vehicle windscreens, house windows and burnt vehicles on the street when our correspondent visited. The residents told Saturday PUNCH that the hoodlums went from house to house about 1.30 am on Sunday, robbing, looting shops and smashing cars before fleeing when they noticed police presence. The looting hoodlums came back after they had initially fled, Saturday PUNCH learnt. More looting was recorded during their second coming, it was learnt. It was during that period that they reportedly burnt the vehicles they had already smashed. At least eight vehicles were said to have been burnt down. Our correspondent counted five burnt vehicles that had not been taken away by their owners. A youth in Fadeyi, Monsuru Olayiwola, who had been reported to be one of the masterminds of the attack, told our correspondent he knew nothing about the matter. He said, “I read in a newspaper report that I was wielding a pump-action rifle during the mayhem. That is a blatant lie. “It was a ploy by the criminals responsible to implicate me. I was at Ikorodu overnight during the mayhem and a lot of people can attest to this. I have not been in that particular part of Mushin for three years because of the violence of the youths in the area.” A resident of Fadeyi, Wale Ayodele, told our correspondent that the hoodlums were suspected to comprise area boys and cult members. He said, “We were very shocked when it was reported that the attack was carried out by youths from Fadeyi. This is not the first time this kind of attack would be blamed on Fadeyi boys by Mushin youths. “Go to the street where the attacks took place and the residents themselves will tell you where the hoodlums came from.” Tunde, a resident of Ike Olu Street, said the hoodlums announced their presence by shooting and smashing the windos of parked cars. He said, “They smashed anything in sight and went from house to house, robbing people of cash, telephone sets, televisions, generators and even clothes. “They destroyed some of the furniture I had been contracted to make for someone. But I fared better than some other people on this street.” But another resident, who identified herself simply as Florence, said she narrowly escaped being gang-raped by about 15 men, who kicked down the door of her apartment. Florence said, “I have no doubt that the men moving about the street, robbing and attacking people were up to 70 because the ones who came into my room were up to 15. There were other groups in other apartments at the same time. “They kicked down the door and demanded money and my phones. But I was begging them that I had nothing in the house. “I thought they would move on to other houses if I told them that. But some of them suddenly pulled down my trousers and wanted to rape me. I started begging and quickly dipped my hand into a place where I had saved N40,000 and handed it to them. “I begged them to let me go. I told them that was all I had. I was lucky they left after that.” Another resident, who pleaded anonymity, lost his commercial buses to the hoodlums. He said, “I’m just a mechanic and I have a shop on this street. I’m not a resident of this street. I got to the workshop on Monday morning and saw the burnt carcass of my bus. “I told the driver to always park the bus in front of my workshop every night. These hoodlums have destroyed a good source of money for me. To add to my woes, I have not finished paying for the bus because I’m paying on an instalment plan.” Our correspondent learnt that a driver with a new generation bank has been arrested in connection with the burning of a vehicle during the mayhem. The unidentified driver was said to have taken the official vehicle of his boss, a new Toyota Corrolla, home after the close of work the previous Friday. It was burnt by the hoodlums where he parked it. The burnt car was still on the street when our correspondent visited. Each of the residents had one thing or another to tell our correspondent, as he moved round the area. A hairdresser said the door of her shop was kicked down and the hoodlums took away her generator. A resident, Mrs. Rachael Adepoju, lost her savings and telephone sets to the hoodlums who came into her house, wielding guns, broken bottles and machetes. Another resident said they threatened to kill two people in her house if she did not hand over her belongings. A man next door was brutally beaten because he was not fast enough when he was handing over his belongings. “They are cult members,” a resident, Fatai Owolabi, told our correspondent. “Everybody on this street is aware that there has been a long-standing feud between members of the Eiye Confraternity and . “I don’t know who is accusing who, but we heard that one said the other was responsible for the death of two of its members. Anytime there is a problem, they use the opportunity to loot, rob and unleash mayhem on residents,” he said. Saturday PUNCH learnt that the men responsible for the mayhem were suspected to be those vending hard drugs and Indian hemp in Mushin. Spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, had on Sunday said some suspects had been apprehended in connection with the case. It is not clear how far the investigation had gone as Braide’s phone line indicated it was switched off when our correspondent contacted her on Wednesday. |
The search for the fruit of the womb has driven many women to take extreme steps. When women are unable to conceive and bear children, the huge psychological toll makes them fall prey to fraudulent people and patrons of ‘baby factories’. Desope Cecilia, 61, and Joy Ibe, 43, were among victims of a midwife, Oby George, who promised them ‘miracle’ twins and triplets respectively. While the midwife was being paraded before journalists at the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja, on Friday, the victims told their stories, with faces covered for security reasons. Cecilia said she had not been able to give her 78-year-old husband a child since they got married. She stated, “A lady who knew I had tried to conceive without success for a long time, told me about the midwife (George). The lady gave me the phone number of the woman and I learnt her clinic is in Port Harcourt. “When I got there in March 2012, she explained to me that she would be able to treat me with herbs and I would get pregnant. I was told to pay N1.5m, which I paid to her. “She gave me some herbs to take back to Lagos with me and take for nine months. I took the herbs religiously. My tummy began to swell, and my feet too. Those were the only signs I had that made me think I was pregnant.” Cecilia explained that George forbade her from going for any form of ante-natal session or scan. So, within the nine-month period that her tummy protruded like that of a pregnant woman, she visited no hospital. “The midwife told me not to go for any scan or ante-natal care. She told me that if I did, they would not see anything because what I was carrying was a ‘miracle’ pregnancy,” she said. Asked if she ever saw any sign associated like lactation during the period, Cecillia said she never knew it was a fake pregnancy. “I thought it was normal. Since my belly was growing bigger and my feet swell up, I thought I was indeed pregnant,” she said. In her ninth month, Cecilia embarked on her delivery journey to the house used by George as clinic for her ‘miracle deliveries’ in Omiagbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. When she arrived the house, the midwife prepared her for delivery with another round of concoctions. “She also gave me a strange seed. I don’t know what it is called. When I chewed the seeds, I had to go to the toilet for bowel movement. She also gave me a drug that made me very tired. “I was laid on a bed after that. The midwife asked me to start pushing. I began to push really hard. I was half-conscious. Suddenly, I heard the cry of a baby, then another.” Cecilia said she left George’s clinic, thinking she had indeed been blessed with ‘miracle twins’. Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Ngozi Braide, told journalists that on April 16, 2013, Cecilia took the twins for immunisation at the Amuwo Odofin Health Centre, Lagos. “But the medical officials at the centre were suspicious that Cecilia was not the biological mother of the twins. They then alerted the Area A Police Command. During investigation, she told the police that they were ‘miracle babies’. “Our men got the address of the midwife and went to Port Harcourt, where she was arrested. Investigation still continues to ensure we apprehend other members of her cartel. The twins are currently with the SOS Children’s Village, Isolo,” Braide said. Our correspondent learnt that the second victim (Ibe) was found in George’s house when the police got there. In Ibe’s case, she wanted triplets. For that, she had to pay N2.7m to George for the babies. Like Cecilia, Ibe was referred to George by a friend. She contacted the midwife few months after Cecilia did. “After I went to Port Harcourt to meet the midwife, I paid the N2.7m and I was given some herbs which I drank as concoction regularly. “My belly began to grow and my feet became swollen too. The midwife told me not to go to the hospital for scan or any ante-natal. I went to Port Harcourt to ask when I would be due for delivery. “She told me I was not due yet. Since it was too late to go back to Lagos, I slept over at her house. It was when I was there that police came to arrest her.” No one could have doubted that both Ibe and Cecilia were pregnant as both women appeared with swollen tummies and feet. George said her business was “helping women who want to get pregnant.” She told journalists, “I am 50 years old. I have been doing this business for over a year. In the case of the other woman (Cecilia), I was not the one who provided the babies. “Helen Okoro, who introduced her to me, was the one who brought the twins and we made it look like she was the one who delivered them. It is true I collected N1.5m from her and N2.7m from the other woman. “The herb I give them was to induce the swollen tummies and feet. Helen Okoro has run away now.” But George dodged questions as she was being interviewed by journalists. When asked about the name of the herbs and seeds she gave to her customers, she replied, “I don’t know.” Asked how many of such women she had ever ‘delivered’, she answered, “I cannot remember.” Curiously, Cecilia said she was bleeding like a freshly delivered mother during her ‘delivery’. George provided a frightening insight into how this was made possible. “When we asked her to push, we used a blade to cut part of her private part, so that she would bleed,” she said. George denied knowledge of where the babies given to Cecilia came from. She said Okoro was responsible for that part of the deal. This case is coming on the heels of the recent discovery of some baby factories in Abia and Enugu recently. The police have yet to confirm if the babies involved in this case were bought from one of such factories. source: http://www.punchng.com/news/i-collected-n4-2m-from-two-women-for-miracle-babies-midwife/ |
@ all lets b realistic, it might not b the fault of Gtb as a whole but it might b the doing of the staffs. I Have a friend that use to work for Oceanic Bank as a contract staff in those days and all of a sudden this guy collected a house an furnished it to taste. what this guy actually do in the bank is that they look for dormant accounts of like 4 to 5 years and they will reactivate it and start milking money from it. but luck ran out them when they reactivate and withdrew money from one account and the owner was in Uk but had a younger sister working in Oceanic. Thats was how they were caught. The rest was story. So @ ops, call their Headquarter and follow it up from there. the don't take sh i t at all. personally thats why i don't use ATM cards |
