Geeboilee:Great! Can i learn Dev(or any other IT skill) without a laptop? If no, suggest where i can i get a decent second one. |
naijamanyoutube:I've Heard this for ages... Yet i have no idea how or even where to start. If you ain't kidding, then i'm interested. Care to explain? |
WIZGUY69:Not just the US, most cities in the developed world are usually spotless due to effective waste management and sound environmental laws. Unfortunately, these cities are more liveable a century ago than our overhyped Lagos and Abuja are today. |
Understand; ladies( I dare to say most of them) want a financially capable man who will take care of their needs and possibly that of their offspring( the level of demand varies greatly from among them ) , and if you don't measure up as a man some of them will give you all sort of attitude. Here is the good news; you have the latitude to walk away and go for a lady of your class/standard (there are lots of em out there) and that may even be better for you according to research. Remember; you shouldn't waste time on the wrong people. Some people are simply not meant for you. And the earlier you understand this the better. |
To all you airheads making fun of this guy, know that it ain't nice, and goes along way to show how retarded some of you are. I genuinely hope other Africans on this forum won't see this and assume we Nigerians are ill-mannered (we aren't, these random fools do not represent us). |
kerry57:That word is a big deal. But the question is of the 3 leading candidates which seem the safest bet? I would say Obi. But even him is far from clean and has a very questionable track record. Nigerians are faced with a grim choice. |
ModestGal:1. The vast majority of Muslims in Nigeria live in the North, not West as you wrongly put it. 2. Fallacy of hasty generalisation. Granted, the fertility rate is higher in Northern Nigeria but it would be incorrect to say other regions are far behind. The difference ain't that much. 3. You knew 40 non Muslims that migrated to Canada. Do you genuinely think anyone gives a f..k about that? How is that even relevant? No malice intended, but it's either you are high, trolling or an idiot or probably all. |
ModestGal:Well, lots of us are here in Nigeria and some of us really would love to move abroad, but for some reasons (majorly financial) we can't. Other reasons are; difficulty getting visa, longstanding tradition( middle East is the preferred option not the West) and so on. My take. |
Huawei CAM TL00 I can't use Google services on the phone, instead this is what I always get. Anyone has an idea how to go about it?

Tzar91:Two wrongs don't make a right... Isn't it? Jungle justice is always almost cruel and inhuman. No justification for such act. A question, what if (it's probable) subsequent investigation proves them innocent? Bring back the dead? |
just2endowed:Thanks mate. |
susrite:currently facing an issue with mine (CAM TL00)... I just can't sign in my Google account, this effectively means I can't use Google services such as play store, anyone have an idea how to solve that? |
glingev:What language is that? In Hausa language it's called tuwon massara. |
Maxxim:The question is can they really take care of these kids? |
Kurumaru:Relative to his predecessors? Not a bad performance, but overall the bar is way too low. Mediocrity is deeply ingrained in our Psyche that we celebrate mediocre projects. Nigerian politicians should/can do better. |
DaddyFreeze2020:Passion does not equal competence... |
gaby:if, say, vendor A,who sells( insert whatever delicacy/food you want here) lacks basic hygeine etiquettes, does that applies to all vendors? Your tribe/ethnicity or whatever part of the country you came from is irrelevant in this conversation. For reasons known to you, you seem intent on badmouthing a beloved Hausa delicacy base on unfounded claims. You should do better, my man. |
amerengues:You have at a point, the club is at a "rebuilding phase" Yet the entire backline have been utterly sloppy and, well, useless - conceding goals and, lacking any semblance of cohesion and quality. The midfieleld too is shaky. Granted, Gavi and Pedri are phenomenal, yet are inexperienced. Busquests needs to go, to be honest, he lost it. Raphinha plays like a B team player, he lacks finishing and his crosses are abysmal. These players should do better and more importantly, Xavi should know better |
Pod443300:which is invaluable, your life or $5k? |
halaqasa:You really live in Canada? Maybe you should'nt comment just for the sake of it. I pretty much belive you have little,if any, idea what the ordinary Nigerian pass through just to eat a square meal. |
emmaodet:Few, if any, economists use population density to measure a country's wealth. Rather, the standard tool of measurement is the GNI/GDP per capita, by that, Suriname is richer than South Africa let alone a laggard like Nigeria ($15k against $5k, for your info). The reality is some Nigerians have no idea that some of these countries they look down upon are actually better (in almost every aspect) than home. |
williams2600:Travel abroad (of course,to functioning countries), and see for yourself how far behind Nigeria really is. |
Well said. For anyone who is in the know, these things are common knowledge. Canada is a land of posperity and opportunity (though, it ain't perfect!) and whoever discourage you from moving there (sorry, but you must be naive and pretty uninformed to be that gullible) probably does not have your interest at heart. |
Lamanii22:skipping dinner may not be good nor effective for your weight loss. What matters most is what you eat not when you eat (a recent study shed more light on this). However,if you are serious about losing weight then i recommend you check in with a registered dietician who will tailor your diet according to your needs. I also recommend you try as much as you can to incorporate excercise in your daily routine, it must not be strenous, even 10 - 20 mins of brisk walking may be beneficial. |
pansophist:It seems you have no idea how utterly wrong and quite ridiculous that statement is. Just to be clear, excercise and regular physical activity, for starters, is quite an efficacious weight-loss strategy proven by countless of studies. In fact, for obese and overweight people such as the op, moving more and sitting less paired with good nutrition(less calories) may be the best way to shed some pounds. |
The first few sentences of your post screams of "my mental health is in the gutter", probably major depression. Needlessly, your subsequent tirade-like and sermon-sounding sentences were unnecessary. However, my suggestion is you need, as a matter of urgency, to see a mental health proffessional who will correctly diagnose what your problem is and expectedly, offer treatment options. It may not come cheap, sure, but it's better and you will be glad you did so. Will all being said i hope things get better for you bro. |
everythinggirly:Do you mind listing some of those things? |
gloryhomemaker:I'm curious, what type of vegetable oil did you used to cook this meal? |
fortune1894:It's rumoured it cost just 25k, so why did you pay that much? |
Angelfrost:Don' bother! The bar has been brought ridiculously low, such that a couple of flyovers is enough to be labelled "the most performing governor". |
Persephone1:It is really deep... Literally speaking. Nigeria is currently neck-deep in a state of rot, malfunction and degradation, that has riddled almost every sector. I mean, every aspect of the Nigerian state warrant a declaration of a state of emergency. Where do you even start? Education? health? Morever, We are currently in a cost of living crisis( not to mention insecurity and other vices) that is cripling millions of households across in the country. Only those out of touch with reality downplay the severity of this crisis bedevelling our country. Annoyingly, apart from a few academics highlighting this issues, politicians and even the populace are going about their lives as if all is well. SHAMEFUL! |
