Cities like that run on Electricity to power elevator

I once lived on the 23rd floor of Al Nahda building Sharjah UAE.. Everything was fine and smooth for many months till powercut happened one horrible unforgettable day in the whole of Sharjah

Imagine climbing flights of steps from ground floor, 2 floor parking and 27 step to work, to eat, and to buy groceries

How many Nigerians can pay outrageous electricity bill, gas bill, water bill, waste disposal bill and service and maintenance fee on a monthly bases

Most rich Europeans and Americans prefer suburban houses and mansions to this city towers

.
Relax man! some of the Europeans you reffered to pay on average 200 EURO on utilities(water, waste, gas, electricity and heating). In Nigeria, for electricity alone, you pay around half that or more depending on many factors, and what do you get in return? unreliable and shitty power supply. pathetic!

SUPERPACK:
The question should be why will you have money to build a 25 storey building but can't afford money for renewable energy to power it. Such buildings don't depend on government for power they normally employ wind turbines, solar panels and generators for backup. In fact it should be a law that any new building above a storey should not be allowed to join the national grid to encourage diversification in the energy sector.
Generators? that's unsustainable. Turbines? yo u kidding, right. Listen, just like other commenters made clear, the goverment must provide basic infrastructure like power for the country to witness explosive growth, suggesting the goverment outsource its responsibility to ordinary individuals as ever would take the country nowhere.

The road to 2023

I need a president who is pragmatic, articulate, charismatic, compassionate and economically savvy.

A president that can provide enabling environment for people to thrive.

I need a president who can embrace technology.

A listening president who can harness our resources for the development of our country.

Wishful thinking! A competent president (as well as cabinet members) would have been more to the point.

MrOON:
The annual Salary of the President of Nigeria is N14058820.00k.

In 4 years, it would be N56,235,280.00k.

So why would anyone apply for a Job with N100M just to earn N56,235,280.00k
Just to set the facts straight, any future Nigerian president would have to spend at least 1BN direct or indirectly to successfully clinch that post. however, Just a reminder that jonathan admitted to spending 1TR during the 2015 elections, all gone down the drain. To answer you, because it worth the shot -- the perks, luxuries, power, influence and connections, prestige and so on.

But I don’t think you are aware of what is on ground. 97 SD Officers were commissioned with 98 DSSC Officer and 73 Regulars. Total number 268 Officers were commissioned.

This figure might not make sense to you but it is the genesis especially when the force is not expanding.
Please is Nigerian Navy O level (WAEC) recruitment underway, also when is the closing date?

Come on man, come on. Be realistic and perhaps think before you post things.

You expect a whole paramilitary to recruit without medicals Who does that

I dont know if you are just catching cruise and typing whatever you feel like or you are being serious but please be realistic. No military or paramilitary will recruit without medicals and screening.

Have you also thought of people with fake credentials ? So you expect the customs to just recruit people like that and put them on pay roll without the consideration of people with fake certificates and credentials

Abeg somethings are common sense and logic. Think ABEG
Hi, please is Customs recruitment for O Level (WAEC) applicants open? Also anyone has an idea what a supplementary recruitment excercise is?

No doubt he would have been our president come 2023.

outta here!!!
Even at that it barely matter. Every sane mind knows that from the second year of the first tenure of this administration that they barely have anything tangible to offer, of course, aside propaganda and lies. The fact that they decipetively again swept gullible Nigerians off their feet in 2019 shows how morally corrupt he and his boss are, pretty much birds of a feather.

If you are currently working in a company that pays you N700,000 monthly and you are on the right path to becoming a director in that comp
1. Directors earn not less than N2,200,000.00 monthly and salaries are reviewed upwards in the company annually.

2. You and the company both contribute to a pension fund with a reputable pension fund administrator monthly and your pension fund account balance in just 6 years of working with the company is over 8 million naira.

3. The company caters for the health needs of you, your spouse and 5 children at no cost to you under HMO.

4. You enjoy performance bonuses annually.

5. Your next promotion is to Assistant General Manager where you will begin to earn about US$6,000 per annum as foreign trips allowances.

6. You are married with 5 children.

7. You are 35 years old.
For a start, all these perks mean little if one lives in a fragile and unstable country like Nigeria. By the way, which company is that?

Just know this fact before thinking of travelling.

We've had enough stranded Nigerians in the diaspora already. Don't add to it.
Have enough money SAVED before you think of travelling.
What is the point of this post? distract? discourage? You talked about rising inflation, but that seems to be a global trend, and not neccessarily unique to the US/west. Nigeria's is 15 percent while it's roughly half that in most western countries. Besides, inflation normally batter the poor most, and a in a country like Nigeria with nonexistent safety net it is even worst. Also, you seem to be ignorant of the fact that would-be emigres have diverse reasons for leaving, for some it is the security and safety western countries offer, while for others a good health care system and stability are major factors.

Citizens shouldn't be gullible about the directives of their leaders. The top Ukraine government officials are currently at the bunker where they are save from Nuclear weapons, the deadliest while encouraging the citizens to fight for their cause.

It's a pity
Thats False... The Kremlin said they were ready for talks but no one in Kiev is taking them seriously, and rightly so.

Ukraine is burning, people are been displaced, their major infrastructure has been destroyed yet the media is telling us Ukraine is in control. They keep talking about sanctions that has little to no effect, we are talking about Russia which is as big as a continent with a working economy and rich gas reserves.

The best thing the UN can do right now is to broker a deal that will halt the war because its clear that Putin wont stop until his inner circle turn against him
Of course, the Ukrainian forces are being outgunned but the fact is they are well in control, can you prove otherwise? just so you know, 72hrs into the war and they have neutralize 450 enemies, down many aircrafts and managed to keep all cities intact, quite impressive to be honest! Besides, Russia is a permannent member of the UN security council, which give it the power to veto any resolution it deems unfavourable, so?

This is good news. But much of the country's defenses has been destroyed already.

Ukraine ought to have invested heavily in SAMs (Surface to Air Missiles). a lot of Sams then good for you because enemy would lose a lot of its airforce.

You can't take out the Israeli military like this - which is also a defensive military. They have integrated five level of defences from iron beam (1), Iron dome (2) , David Sling n Barack 8 (3), Arrow11 (4), Arrow111 (5). The Israelis can crater anything that flies into their airspace from as low as 5 km to 2500km outerspace. They have air defenses laid from rooftops to those inserted inside the mountains.

This same model is what countries like Ukraine, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan ought to be using. Don't waste waste your money on fighter jets.
if you belived RT disinformation that just 5 hours into war the Ukrainian Air defense has been crippled, then you should seek alternative trusted sources.

Who is pushing this Ukraine to self destruction? Have we exhausted all room room for dialogue?
The aggressor here is clearly Russia. Were Cameroun to invade Nigeria, Do you expect our armed forces to take a back seat and fold their arms? Surely there would be retaliation/counterstrike. That's exactly what is unfolding in Ukraine at the moment.

Just to be clear, Ukraine does not have nuclear weapons. it once did after the dissolution of the USSR, but the nukes were returned to Russia following series of aggrements and assurances.

ENG0701 :
I wont say it is boring, I will just say a different kind of fun. Nigeria is a flexing country, most countries apart from US and maybe UK are not.
Since I moved to Canada, I have been invited out by friends to cottage, camping, fishing or ice skating. These are not what nigerians consider fun. Their fun is more about activities and quiet fun.

There are lots of amazing places and fun activities to indulge oneself in abroad. Op make it seem like Nigeria is the be-all-and-end-all, which is not the case. Infact, it could be argued that places like the US, Switzerland or Australia may offer more fun avenues/options than Nigeria for a multitude of reasons(wealth, stability, diverse weather, better infrastructure and governance e.t.c). However, Loneliness/fun itself is entirely relative, as what appeals to one may not for another. Also, the op forgot the fact that one can still be in Nigeria and feel lonely.

So guys dose it mean I shouldn't go ahead
The country is currently facing an imminent risk of invasion from Russia, also it is not a well run country. Additionally, corruption and instability has been wracking Ukraine for many years. I suggest you look to other good eastern European countries like Poland, Russia and Hungary. Estonia and Czech Republic are also relatively good choices. Make your choice by choosing a good uni from any of the aforementioned countries and you may likely get a bang for your buck.

Not really! investment in R&grin, an enabling enviroment and goverment support are what drives tech and science innovation and progress. For proof look no further than china and israel. If these are what you defined as "price", then they are a welcome development and are worth paying.

Your forsight is quite admirable, yet i think you should know these. Firstly, you are strapped for cash. Running an Msc in Germany will cost you around 8 m (cheap due to free tuition), you will need nearly double that for the UK. Secondly, considering the raging inflation, salary of 250k ain't much, infact it could be argued that you are barely getting by, you are likely to earn way higher in abroad with a good c.v., don't let the crumbs you earm cloud you from seeing the big picture. Make hay while the sun shines... Thirdly, delay is probably dangerous. i suggest you move soon as things are changing rapidly and countries (mostly rich) are tightening the bolts on immigration. Furthermore, weakening of the Naira means immigrating is more expensive. The earlier you pack your bags and leave the better as the country seems unlikely to get better anytime soon.
