This is misguided advice!(even if well-meaning). Sugary drinks may make things worse. Infact, people who comsume soft drinks daily are at an inreased risk of high blood pressure, research shows.

But seriously, I feel for any creative mind in Nigeria, right now is the time to come up with a much more cleaner, efficient, and safer way of cooking with charcoal. Something like a neat, portable stove that runs on charcoal.. If I had the funds, I would have definitely invested into a factory that builds such, with locally sourced minds and manpower. Just to ease the suffering of Nigerians and make some serious money.

i would say you should calm down, and perhaps don't take things far. I am a school teacher, who teach teenage pupils, so i'm in a good position to understand your experience. Undestand: kids are inherently curious, and most of what they do is as a result of that curiosity ( including the porn you allege she was caught watching). That said, Guide, correct and discipline her (and the rest of the kids) gently and compassionately - that would yield far more desirable result than being reactive and harsh (doing so will only make things worse). Lastly,just so you know, i currently has a pupil who may likely share a similar traits to this girl in particular, so take what i say seriously.

Kaduna resident here, saying it functions is a bit of a stretch - it's crumbling and in a state of emergency! Nobody who knows a thing or two about health and wellness would drink what kaduna water board calls tap water, at best one use it for laundry or to water a flower. Even a school kid knows colourlessness is a basic quality of water, not so much for those at Waterboard. Little wonder folks are building boreholes left, right and center.

This is my humble suggestion, and i hope you find it helpful : why not get a good second hand hot plate? It may cost 7-10k, depending on variables. My household use it for basically anything cooking, and boy, it's super efficient and fast and cheap.

Latin American countries? Much of that region is plagued by economic stagnation, gang violence and instability. Gulf countries, if one dosen't mind their religious austerity and conservatism are a relatively better choice - safe, modern, low taxation, higher salaries and affordable cost of living . Be wise.

And bigger dosen't hold much strategic value, the US biggest embassy in Baghdad is more than 10 times larger than that of London, despite the UK being its closest ally in the world. Besides, the criterias used in ranking these cities ( stability,healthcare,culture,infrastructure,culture) may not directly affect this consulate. Lastly, the EIU rankings is a reliable way to know how cities globally are faring, unfortunately, our own Lagos is doing doing pretty awful in all of the aforementioned aspects of what makes a city livable.
