ANSWER: It's unlikely that the diet soda you drink is causing your high blood pressure. A number of studies have examined this topic, and there is no evidence to suggest a link between regularly drinking diet soda and an increase in blood pressure.Jun 18, 2016 https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org › ... Mayo Clinic Q and A: Diet Soda and High Blood Pressure You seem incapable of diffrentiating 'Diet soda' from 'sugary beverages', do you? While the former has no calories the latter is full of it, among other differences. To be honest, i never wanted to reply you, but the depth of your cluelessness on this topic compelled me to. Nonetheless i urge you to read/ask from authoritative sources, so you are guided and be able to make wise choices. |

JimmySwaggart: Since the doctor has placed you on continuous use of beta blockers(metropolol/propranolol), long term side effects is what you are seeing like; the heart and arteries may not function properly. This can subsequently graduate to damaging the blood vessels of the brain, heart, and kidneys, resulting in a stroke, heart failure, or kidney failure..etc
so It's best at this your own stage to go see a specialist (cardiologist). Continuous self medication to manage the symptoms my not be the best approach, but treatment of the underlining symptom. For now stop talking beer, step down to just soft drinks only, for the sake of your liver aswell. This is misguided advice!(even if well-meaning). Sugary drinks may make things worse. Infact, people who comsume soft drinks daily are at an inreased risk of high blood pressure, research shows. |

But seriously, I feel for any creative mind in Nigeria, right now is the time to come up with a much more cleaner, efficient, and safer way of cooking with charcoal. Something like a neat, portable stove that runs on charcoal.. If I had the funds, I would have definitely invested into a factory that builds such, with locally sourced minds and manpower. Just to ease the suffering of Nigerians and make some serious money. Not really a game-changer. Something of that nature already exist... |

Tonnierichy: This particular girl can never calm down. She's notorious for all kinds of things. Just this week, her mother came to report in school that she caught her watching porn with grandma's phone. Checked her browsing history and discovered she's been doing that for 6 months i would say you should calm down, and perhaps don't take things far. I am a school teacher, who teach teenage pupils, so i'm in a good position to understand your experience. Undestand: kids are inherently curious, and most of what they do is as a result of that curiosity ( including the porn you allege she was caught watching). That said, Guide, correct and discipline her (and the rest of the kids) gently and compassionately - that would yield far more desirable result than being reactive and harsh (doing so will only make things worse). Lastly, just so you know, i currently has a pupil who may likely share a similar traits to this girl in particular, so take what i say seriously. |

Nobody who knows a thing or two about health and wellness would drink what kaduna water board calls tap water, at best one use it for laundry or to water a flower. Even a school kid knows colourlessness is a basic quality of water, not so much for those at Waterboard. Little wonder folks are building boreholes left, right and center. |

Taking the total to #20,250 to fill my two cylinder....... This is my humble suggestion, and i hope you find it helpful : why not get a good second hand hot plate? It may cost 7-10k, depending on variables. My household use it for basically anything cooking, and boy, it's super efficient and fast and cheap. |

Jking20: Everyone in Nigeria is keen interested in his selfish interest and what favors them. But Nigeria youths can see that. Now that someone who claimed to be the youth leader during #EndSars protest is campaigning for PDP, no one cares to talk abt it. Bcuz they're scared but busy insulting their leaders. Tell me, where's the difference??
Whoever has eyes and ears would listen. This is clearly an agenda from one movement to the other just in order to achieve their purpose. What pains me is that I partook unknowningly in such act. Thank God, my eyes are opened now. Be proud bro! One of my biggest regret was not physically participating in that protest, though, i vigourously supported it online. On Davido, i am hardly suprised, infact, it will be a suprise if he did'nt do so. Be that as it may, the youths in this country seem to be too polarised to pursue a common goal, i'm afraid come 2023, history may repeat itself. |

Get your PVC ready pleeeaaase... THE LABOUR OF OUR HEROES PAST SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN!.... Pinned emphasis on the word Labour I'm sure the word is gradually playing a role on the political party called Labour Party
We need vote in all leadership positions young visionary leaders come next year and most importantly vote out both APC & PDP alike.
@Seniorwriter Sane clime and lynching politicians can't be in the same sentence. However, the labour party you seem to be promoting may not be any better than the two dominant parties - even it's presidential aspirant is a beneficiary of PDP's kleptocratic governance. You probably have no idea what you are talking about, do you? |

SmartPolician: If Peter Obi wins this election, it will send a strong message that everything is possible in Nigeria and Nigerians will be liberated from these evil men and women who have kept us in captivity for decades.
Young people, we can do this if we shun tribal and religious sentiments and vote for competence. If this country works, it works for everyone, including our children and their children. that Atiku and Tinub. Misguided thinking. Obi, for as far as credibility, competency and integrity is concerned,is unfit to be Nigeria's next president. His past is a useful guide on he is and will be. Just to be clear, i'm not a fan of neither of the trio( Tinubu, Atiku, Obi), for all are "unscrupulous and incompetent charlatans" dreaming to defraud gullibe Nigerians. Even if, miraculously Obi won ( Tinubu is the likeliest winner), don't expect much from his goverment as it may be marred by political shenanigans, corruption and intrigues. You disagree? shyshy1: Least liveable city in the world and USA is planning to build the biggest embassy in that same state.
How through is this story? Consulate not embassy. And bigger dosen't hold much strategic value, the US biggest embassy in Baghdad is more than 10 times larger than that of London, despite the UK being its closest ally in the world. Besides, the criterias used in ranking these cities ( stability, healthcare, culture, infrastructure, culture) may not directly affect this consulate. Lastly, the EIU rankings is a reliable way to know how cities globally are faring, unfortunately, our own Lagos is doing doing pretty awful in all of the aforementioned aspects of what makes a city livable. You understand? |

PO may not be a magician but his Presidency will provide the platform for a People's Revolution which is the only thing that can salvage this country.
Be Obidient, Choose the Key & Emancipate Yourself... Wishful thinking! Peter Obi is no different, perhaps an even worst choice. His two term tenure as an ex governor of Anambra was a waste of time for anambrarians. Pandora papers, let's go there? MrCGPA: The fact remains that Tinubu is dangling in Serious Dilemma believe it or not. Whether he decided to Use a Christian or Muslim Vice is a Problem. If he Chooses a Muslim in this Current Nigeria that Killing because of Blasphemy is trending, CAN will blow hot and he will be loosing vote from some critical States.
On the other hand, if he Chooses a Christian, some Core Northern Muslim People will feel Islam isn't represented in his government since they see Yoruba Muslim as not a complete Believer but an unbeliever(Arne).
APC is at the Bream of Collapsing in winning 2023 presidential election if you tell yourself the truth. Regardless of whether Tinubu picks a muslim or a christian VP, one thing is clear, the odds are high for him. CAN? I reckon Tinubu cares little about that. |
