Odidigboigbo: Italy is a country that you easily settle with even zero Niara, they have a very good package for foreigners unlike other other European countries. You can easily get menial jobs compare to other countries on Europe, through the pay may be less like others. I take this as sarcasm . Anyway are you in Italy at the moment? How is life like there? |

Too much racist in Russia and Azerbaijan Even in Azerbaijan, if not because of their president that cub them, na everyday den they beat us for there. But Belarus, I love that country, but they are poor. But Sweden is the best. Sweden in the same sentence with the likes of Belarus and Russia? , this is blasphemy! Sweden is heaven on earth. |

franchasng: I am a traveler as you see me so....but since man settled down, we have decided to organize our life. My friends are scattered all over the world.......you won't understand, and we discuss situations in our various locations.....comparing which is better........Russia is completely out of it.
If you are a Russian, sorry to say your country no follow for migrant list lol.....but when it comes to ammunition production, crude oil bunkering, hacking, etc....Russia is good. But when it comes to thriving economy where a migrant from Nigeria can migrate to and become successful like we have in US, Canada, Germany, South Korea, UK, etc....Russia is completely out of it Bro don't discourage guys from moving to Italy. As far as am concerned its way better and developed(especially the northern part) than any African country you can think of. Definitely not a first choice, but its certainly a massive stepping stone to the Germanys, Canada's and the likes |

I have a neighbour that is close to 80 years, still hustling in Italy, doing menial jobs. According to her, it was disintegration of USSR that bastardise the whole country, no work, she have to migrate to Italy about 20 years ago. Hi bro! Can a Nigerian use 1.5 million to settle himself in Italy and then search for work? |

Gerrard59: Thanks. Those are factors which can hinder development in a place but they don't adversely affect economic growth. There's corruption in China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Brazil, Mexico etc yet there are way too many MNCs/Forbes 2000/F500 companies having production/research facilities there. Nigeria just like most African countries lack the political will required to enact required changes.
OK, look at the agricultural sector. Eggs have gotten expensive so I'm told. Why? Poultry feeds are exorbitant. What constitute the bulk of feeds composition? Maize. However, Buhari via the CBN barred forex for its importation and his brothers herdsmen are ravaging people's farmlands. Unfortunately, no one is saying anything regarding this and it affects people's confidence and desire to invest (it actually did to me). No one wants to invest and later wake up to the news that herdsmen not weather conditions destroyed your farmlands. If one complains, it's either no one does anything about it or the person gets slaughtered. |

What sort of country is this?
Why was I so so unfortunate to have found myself in this country.
We keep borrowing from every available sources to the extent we borrow from dormant accounts yet trillions are being siphoned on a daily.
Tax, inflation, increments, etc..are now the order of the day.
That thing in Abuja who is incapable of managing himself let alone becoming a councillor, doubles as the president of a country with over 200m people and as a minister of petroleum, isn't that wonderful?
The representhieves demanding that the said looted funds be accounted for are simply angry for being left out.
In all, Nigeria is done for. No remedy or hope anywhere.
The younger ones are worse off.
Nigerians are criminals.
Nigeria is finished.
Take it or leave it You've said it all bro, the country is doomed. |

Mstravelindiva: I traveled from my home here in the US (my husband is Nigerian), so I don’t think it’s apples to apples in terms of cost.
My flight was fairly inexpensive ($400 USD RT on Fijian Airlines). The cost for lodging varies depending on the type of accommodations you want to stay in. We stayed in a resort which was pretty expensive ($250+ USD per night). So I strongly recommend Airbnb’s and hostels, because it’s extremely cost effective and they can meet anyone’s budget, and that’s my same advice with food. They had both inexpensive and expensive options depending on your palate to meet any budget.
I hope this helps. Safe travels friend! Sure it helps. Thanks a lot. Enjoy your trip! |

All in all, its great one live by great principles such as this but also one should keep at the back of their mind that life is full of surprises and uncertainties. As Robert Greene said in his book "48 laws of power" , after listing and explaining in dept about all the laws and principles his last law was "Assume formlessness" - that nothing is certain and no law is fixed. Anyone here giving you any other advice is directly sent from your village people. babakb: I know the process but I don't know the players
The government of Poland allows employers to hire foreign Nationals for unskilled and menial jobs.... Types of jobs is usually Butchers, Factory workers, Cleaners, Drivers etc Average monthly salary is 3,000 PLN plus accommodation.
Get a genuine employment agency in Poland to secure a job cantract and process work permit for you, they will mail the hard copies of the job contract and work permit to you.
You will take the job contract and work permit to Poland embassy to process your work visa....
Note, the agency can charge as much as 1,000 USD, they will ask you to pay 50% fee to start the process and pay the balance when they finish...
Embassy will request for proof of funds of 700,000 NGN and above...
PLEASE be very careful of fake agents... Thanks boss! I appreciate your detailed response. |

babakb: Everyone would have preferred the work route option but it's 95% impossible to secure a job outside the EU.
Don't be deceived by any rouge travel agent, there are no EU work visas out there except you have top of the roof skills and working experience in IT, Health, Sports and Engineering professions.
Why would EU give you working rights if you can't speak any EU language...
Why would they leave an EU citizen that has an automatic working rights and suffer to employ non EU citizen without any working rights
The only country where you can get work visa in EU for unskilled and menial job is Poland, even so you have to prepare like 1.5m for the entire process. Please tell me more about the polish stuff |

phygo89: Iam not a security expert but common sense will tell that , the best solution to all this insecurity in most states especially northern staes is to resolve to state policing.
The federal policing system dont work in large countries. Let every state form a police network that will protect their own. Amotekun - the south west security outfit creation and operation have us clue about what will become every state were to have its state police. The recent ethnic crisis that happened in shaha area of Oyo state, where Amotekun took sides with Yoruba thugs by attacking Hausa people in a brazen manner was despicable , and which could be replicated in any state against ethnic minorities. Same with kano state where hisbah frequently destroys alcoholic drinks owned mostly by southern business men while citing archaic laws. State police is a dead end in Nigeria, it won't work effectively for obvious reasons. The average Nigerian is a tribalist and a bigot, irrespective of their socioeconomic status. |

School gets attacked The terrorists shoot a skit The presidency expresses shock The governor visits There will be no negotiating with terrorists The children will be released Different groups will claim credit The government will lie no ransom was paid
Meanwhile the terrorists begin to sing Bella Smurda
U see children... Kidnap them Federal government.... Bill am Big millions.... Release them More weapons.... Buy am New school.... Attack am Oshey baba, bella shmurda will be proud of you. . On a serious note, the government should be ashamed of themselves, I mean they normalise negotiations and paying ransom to terrorists, and they will keep on coming for more and more. |

Interestingly, the population of the UK according to Worldometer stands at 68,107,747 today but the UK has ordered 407 million doses of seven of the most promising vaccines - three of which have so far been approved for use. (BBC) Funny fact: Even if we get this meagre amount of the vaccine it will be administered only to the elites - Ministers, Ex governors and presidents,high-profile government officials and anyone in their cycle. While the rest of the population will be given endless promises of an effective vaccine which they will never set eyes on. That said, I hope you have no plans of coming back home permanently as that would be a regretable mistake. |
