ifex370:Prostitution (i.e doing anything for money) is something Nigerian men and women have become known for. That is why we have political prostitutes leading our country. As a result; Our men have turned into political thugs and tools for rich politicians (no be prostitution?) Our men are doing online dating and waiting for maga to pay (no be prostitution?) Our men are abroad marrying overweight and expired white women, for kpali (no be prostitution?) Our men are looking for sugar mummy's to take care of them (no be prostitution?) Please let's stop accusing Nigerian women for what our men are also doing. Hardship has turned many Nigerians into bonified prostitutes so please end this hypocritical "Eve syndrome" @post Nigeria has now become a country anyone can exploit. The rot starts from the top so I blame bad leadership. Every Nigerian has now become an experienced 419'er. |
Enough of Recycled Leaders. Let's make Nigeria a country where dreams can come true. Arise Nigerian Youths |
Financialfree:I agree that Christainity should give charity, but you say 'no religion can boast of that other than Christianity'. So I would like to ask you, what religion do you know outside Christianity that made you land at the conclusion that Chritanity is the Number 1 Religion of Charity? @topic; this is a good one for a change. More pastors like him needed in Nigeria right now with all the poverty and starvation in our country. kudos to this pastor and his ministry. |
For far too long, our people have been fond of praising and worshiping political parties, even when they do nothing for them in return. Seeing the way PDP and APC have both destroyed Nigeria, its high time we begin to forge a new path in our country and show support for political parties that produce positive results. So my question to APGA supporters is; does APGA show credibility and accountability as a political party? Is APGA any different from PDP and APC, or just another political party with big money to spend? What has been APGA's achievements? Are social amenities in the states governed by APGA better than before? is APGA credible and accountable? are people still above the law in the state or is their now fairness in the justice system? I await a response. Thanks Thanks |
I Need a very good website designer who can deliver in 1-2 weeks. You should be in any of this loactions; Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, Owerri. For Serious Business only. Do drop a message here if you're interested. Thank you. |
gocac:Muslims are not terrorists. Muslims Extremist are terrorists Christians are not terrorists. Conservative Christians are terrorists Jews are not terrorists. Zionist Jews are terrorists Tell me one Abrahamic religion that has not committed crimes against Humanity? They all have blood on their hands so stop condemning and entire religious group without knowing the history of some religions and the blood trail the have left behind them. |
ice28:What changed? ice28:Better, that's what all of us need to worry about. As far as I'm concerned, they should not even be delegating anyone to attend any foreign affairs until they fix the problems in their OUR own country first and foremost! Who care who they delegate? They are just going there to show face as No one takes Nigeria seriously anymore, so that trip they are making is a waste of our public funds. |
ice28:It does not matter. NIGERIANS ARE STILL SUFFERING! No region or religious group is spared it does not matter how much you hate Islam or get triggered by Islam, until you fight to make your system work, and demand more from your leaders, nothing will change. If you had a system that works, you would table this matter to the relevant department in your LGA. Get YOUR SYSTEM TO WORK FIRST AND FOREMOST, then and only then will you have someone to have this conversation with. As it is, you are busy diverting your problems to Muslims in general forgetting that the Muslims in Nigeria are going through the same problems just LIKE YOU! Lets try and have a heart and conscience!!! |
ice28:The bolded is the reason why they sent a Muslim representative. Do you suggest that they delegate a Christain to deal on Muslims affairs? Even if they do, you will still accuse them of ISLAMATISING Nigeria. Poverty has still not spared any religion in Nigeria even with our religious sentiments. When shall we ever focus on the issue which is our failed leadership in every level!! Okay now tell me, how will sending a Muslim or Christain delegate eradicate poverty in Nigeria? Please say? Nigeria with a Population of 55% Christians when did we go from a secular state to a world recognized Muslim Nation? The simple answer to your question is this; It is irrelevant who they delegate!! Ask your leaders to give you good roads, good schools, jobs, constant power supply, security, welfare, and the list goes on. Demand accountability and responsibility from you president, governors, senators, local government chairman, etc. That is what Nigeria needs right now, not more religious sentiments. |
Dear Nigeria YOUTH, How can you be over 60% of the Nigerian population yet you feel you are irrelevant. Our men are okay with being used as political thugs, yahoo boys, fraudsters, 419er's, drug dealers, and worse. Our women have become gloried prostitutes, sleeping with anyone from the elite to the guy just about managing. The rest queue up in their thousands waiting outside the gates of different organisations, begging to get a job of ordinary ₦30,000. No job, so you do what you can to make ends meet. But do you know that it's your fault that you have to struggle through life? You suffer because you refuse to believe in yourself. You suffer because you think you don't deserve the BEST. Your parents in their youth, were fighting for INDEPENDENCE for your country, while you ignore the problem, enabling a very small minority to destroy your beloved country in your very eyes. You feel rejected, neglected, inferior, depressed and frustrated because things are not working out as expected. You divert your pain to terrorism, tribalism, religious and regional sentiments, forgetting that the suffering in your country affects everyone except the political ELITES, who put you in your situation in the first place. No one is to blame but yourself, because you have the young age, physical and mental strength to engineer change, but you put it to no use. If you think getting a visa and running off to Europe, America and the rest will save you; YOU LIE. Those countries you stand helplessly at their embassies, praying and begging even for a one-day entry visa, is you choosing to beg and beg and beg for everything in your life. Yearly, they impose visa restrictions, require more money from you, increase their visa denial rate, turn you back at the port of entry even with a valid visa, yet you accept the humiliation, and they know you will, because a beggar doesn't have a choice. You have turned yourself into a BEGGAR, both home and abroad forgetting that your parents did not need visas to those countries in their youth, plus at the international borders, your parent's were given the RESPECT they deserve. NIGERIAN YOUTHS, It's time you earn your RESPECT!! Nigerian Overall Population 2017: 178.5 million *Nigeria's population in poverty* 1980: 17.1 million 1985: 34.7 million 1992: 39.2 million 1996: 67.1 million 2004: 68.7 million 2010: 112.47 million 2010-2017: data analyst say that the figures have continued to rise* Your country is getting worse by the day, and until you start using your numbers to enforce change, and demand accountability and responsibility from your leaders, you will have a lot of questions to answer your future generation for you deliberate neglect. I'm not telling you this to annoy you; I'm telling you this because it pains me to see your talent and skill go to waste. I cannot lie to you; you've had enough of the lies from your politicians. But I want you to face your reality no matter how harsh it, that until you unite in your numbers, and get rid of this system of operation, nothing will change. Make no mistakes; You are not IRRELEVANT You are Passionate You are Strong You are Ambitions You are Talented You are Driven You are Powerful You are, THE LEADERS OF TODAY! Take your beloved country away from the evil ones who have stolen everything from you including your dignity, your innocence, your respect and your morality. Your ancestors, your grandparents, your parents, your children and your unborn children all believe in you, but you must first believe in yourself for it's in your interest that Nigeria becomes great. Bluffly:Exactly. All we do is blame our problems on our uncles or aunties in the village doing juju, the government, the west, etc but what are we actually doing to change the status quo? The answer is NOTHING. If you don't want to do anything to change a situation, you have no right to complain about it. bjtinz:If a female says it's not cool, and you choose to believe your fellow men who think you're cool, well, so be it. Just note that slut shaming, and being a player is slowly becoming a thing of the past. Women are beginning to demand decent men; A cool over-s£xed man is not on that list of men with decency and self-respect |
amalab30:or 101% ? |
hayzed1090:‘A short skirt is not a yes. A red lip is not a yes. A wink is not a yes. What she wears and how she behaves are not invitations.’ *So to most men, please stop blaming women for your insatiable s£xual urges. Go and see a therapist before it gets to the point of raping your own daughters. Yes, it still happens. Some fathers have raped their own daughters from infancy. Come and tell me the precious little girl dressed in a provocative way to attract the perpetrator's attention. *How about in some Muslim societies where the women mandatorily cover themselves from head to toe and sometimes they are not even allowed to go outside their homes. Yet the women still get raped, and in worst cases, the fate of these women is sealed by honor killing (killed by her family because she has lost her dignity), although they girl carried herself well, dressed in the most fully clothed way she can and most importantly, it was not her fault. Victim blaming and death of the victim happens in Christain societies as well. *Both women and men can be raped, and in the case of men's sexual abuse, the perpetuators are usually MEN!! *Three out of four rapes are committed by someone known to the victim. These are FACTS, not FICTION If you're going to make a counter-argument, back it up with facts, evidence and a superior argument to prove otherwise, else you're just excusing the inexcusable!!!!! Seek consent from a woman before you do anything to her. Her body belongs to her not you. Only men who have no respect for themselves think its okay to disrespect others. I maintain that the only way to eradicate rape culture in our society is to change the way we raise our men and women. Take away the power from men and have a balance; Where both men and women are empowered equally. Without respect for oneself and for others, abuse will definitely happen. |
nothernstar:As all churches in Nigeria. The church leaders learn the "act of manipulation" from somewhere. But the way a woman dresses does not stop her from being sexually exploited or harassed. It's always about the power structure in the society. Most men believe they can do anything they want to a woman. What needs to be done is not only to change the mentality of the women but also the change the mentality of men. Women are not private possessions and have a right to live their lives without men constantly taking advantage of their sexuality and it does not matter who or what the woman is or how she dresses. You can cover yourself from head to toe, but if a male s£x pervert wants to have his way with you, he can and he will. Sexual abuse no dey fear face. It has happened to the best and worst of women. |
jobaltol:GBAM!! Nigerians and their fake sense of decency. Yet its the most corrupt country in the world thanks to lack of decency, morality, law, and order. I wonder where this hypocrisy will take us. Sadly it will take us NOWHERE |
sunnyworld2love: Saint83: enemyofprogress: intruxive: sucess001: sleepyeyez:You lots take things too far. There is someone whose decency may have been unfairly compromised and you think its best to exploit the situation and make jokes. You lots take things too far. Someone's decency may have been unfairly compromised and you think its best to exploit the situation and make jokes. If you're so obsessed with x-rated videos, watch free online ones of people that consented to make the videos. Most men still think that being an over-s£xed male is kinda cool. No, it's not cool because anyone can have s£x; it's just not a big deal. |
cyndy1000:..or are you politely trying to say the guy is short? lol |
Tomjoetech:I'm not "rich", I'm happy and content. The fact that you equate being "rich" to a higher state of being shows the kind of mindset you have. Or have you never heard that "money does not make people happy?" Also, my bed is actually alright, if you must know. I sleep well at night as I have no wickedness in my heart. I will also sleep well tonight and the nights after that. I don't fear Prosperity Gospel Preaching Criminals and their scare tactics. So I'm good, thank you. Going to church every Sunday, paying tithes and offerings and worshipping your pastor, will not make you a better person, nor will it make you happy. If you EVER want to be happy in life, love yourself first and show love, compassion, and kindness to others. It's the only way to make it to heaven; that's if you actually practice what you preach. |
plaetton:Amen to that. Let the rest continue to fear their pastors first before God. Do they know how much better Nigeria will be without religion? Do they ever wonder why the most religious countries are the most sinful, corrupt and poor? No, they don't, because they choose to look the other way when they see vain men of God. They think if they speak, the wrath of God will befall them. Well, I have been speaking out about fake pastors and their prosperity Gospel ever since and my life is good, nothing has happened to me, and nothing will happen to me. I will keep putting humanity first, and will never keep quiet when someone is doing something wrong. I don't care who you are or what God you worship; if you're wrong, you're wrong. PERIOD!!! |
Lilimax:I agree. If only we cast the same judgment on our corrupt politicians, Nigerian politics will be a no-go area for looters. |
The difference between developed countries and developing countries is morality, ethics, and principle. We are in this state because we want to take advantage of everyone and everything; We are at this stage because we see something wrong and say - "Let it be". As Nigerian's, 97% of us are guilty of immorality and wickedness towards others. Many of us will read this and just say "My God, this is so sad", "God will judge them", "touch not my anointed" "God dey" etc.... but we will still sheepishly go to church on Sunday to pay our tithes and offerings, and will not dare ask the man of God WHY; Why do you preach love and kindness, but you can't help our brothers and sisters being sold into slavery in Libya? Why will you own several private jets, but cannot use it to save our countrymen and women being raped and tortured to death in Libya? If you cannot ask your pastors why they've turned a blind eye to the helpless situation of our people suffering in Libya as you go to service this Sunday, YOU ARE WICKED AND HEARTLESS. Silence is not a denouncement, Silence Implies Consent !!! It's sad that we still don't know that we are suffering because of our own wickedness!!! If you want things to change, You must SPEAK OUT!!!! DO NOT HELP EVIL WHETHER ACTIVELY OR PASSIVELY BECAUSE THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR OWN LONG-TERM HARM; EVIL IS ANTI-LIFE!!! WE MUST START TO CALL A SPADE A SPADE!! THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE IT TO HEAVEN; BY SHOWING HUMAN KINDNESS AND CARING FOR OTHERS ACTIVELY, PERFECTLY AND MEANINGFULLY!!!!!!!! STAY BLESSED |
lazygal:Solution for celebrities Firstly, get a gag order before having sex with a groupie Secondly, let the sexual partner sign an express consent form Lastly, zip up There are ways to avoid such exploitation, but as long as we Keep living in a society were men are obssessed with sex and have no control over thier urges, they will keep on getting used by women who go out of thier way to exploit weak and feeble minded men. Men need to start learning how to say NO to sex as well because some women have wisened up and now know that they can get away with it too. Some women have become millionaires off men's mostly deserved downfall just cause some of these men are so stupid that they act before they think. Well, since society has refused to sex-educate our men, then hopefully with more and more persecutions, most men will be forced to start thinking with their head and not their g*enitalia |
lazygal:We live in a male-white dominated society which means female -non whites will get more hard done by the legal system more than their white male counparts. Although the legal system is still bias, Robinho is alleged to be part of a gang rape. I see no racism here unless he had a white partner in this crime who got away with it. As far as this case is concerned, without any proof otherwise, he will be guilty as charged regardless of his race or the gender of his victim. Although not sports related, majority of the sexual assault allegation after Harvey Weinstein case have been on white men. So thats some progress. |
enemyofprogress:No she didn't because it was forced on her and it was against her will. When such happens to you or anyone close to you, I hope no one will be grinning and laughing at your predicament, the way you are laughing at someone else's misery. I have never experienced sexual assault but I do not wish it on my worse enemy nor would I laugh at anyones plight so I hope you, your close friends and family don't have to go through such pain. |
LilSmith55:ONLY?!! As much as most women have made a mans sexual need a priority thus making thier own sexual need secondary and majority of the time non-existant, it is still a MUST that consent be aquired before you lay with anyone. To Nigerian guys that think it is okay to force themselves on a woman, brace yourselves. Because once Nigeria ventures into a developed-working society with humanright laws in place, you will have tens of thiusands of women coming at you with sexual assault allegations which you can't deny because of your selfish uncontrollable sexual desires. At your time of retirement, you could be retiring to a prison cell were criminals are kept away from the society to aviod them inflicting more pain on innocent human beings. Even if you miss out on the punishment, you son or grandson will surely pay for it, as sexual deviance tends to be passed from one generation to the next. Still In doubt? Then look at the growing list of powerful men accused of sexual harassment after Harvey Weinstein. Nuff said enemyofprogress:if you think rape is sweet, wait until we have working laws in this country and you eventually end up in jail and get gang raped by your fellow inmates, then come back and tell people that rape is sweet. This is a very shameful and heartless comment! But even in your ignorance, I pray that you dont get raped by anyone! You like Nigeria because it is a failed country were criminals can get away with their atrocious crimes. .... To all sexual predators, seek help before its too late. When you have to force sex on someone else, When you think of sex more than you think of food, its not Konji. You are most likey a sexual addict or sexual pevert and you are in need of serious counselling. Most men even go as far as incest; sex with their own children. Get help because there is nothing normal about such behaviour!!! |
There should not be 2 different laws in one country. We should have one binding law that takes into account the customs, traditions, culture and religion of the people. But thanks to out failed politicians, this has not happened. We are still using 2 to 3 different laws in one country; customary, legal and even religions laws. All in a bid to create loopholes which the rich and powerful evildoers can use to get away with their attrocities. What a country!!! Well, If the biological father rejected his own child, refused to be by the woman carrying his own child during and after the birth, refused to support his own child, then he should have no right to that child. He is going to be a traumatic figure and he has lost all grounds and claim due to his own decided-neglect and that clearly shows that he is likely going to be an unstable and unavailable parent to the child. Children must always be a priority because any mistake at the early stages of a childs development and that child will become damaged FOREVER!!! I mean, think about knowing that your own father basically started your life on earth by calling you a bastard?! |
engrchykae:They will keep coming at us but do not despair. All these countries coming for us have had bad years before they got to the good years. It will only take one good leader to come out of Africa and everything changes. I know it will happens, my prayer is just that I hope it happens in my time. |
mysteryman2014: einsteine:That's it....as always lets blame the woman. From the days of Eve till now, women are still meant to take all the blame. No. Mugabe was the leader of his country. He failed his people. He suffered them, killed them, raped them, abused them and took hope away from them. He takes FULL responsibility for the plight of Zimbabweans, NOT GRACE. Grace is an opportunists, but Grace Mugabe is not the President of Zimbabwe; Robert Mugabe is! |
NMA raises alarm as 900 doctors resign from UCH, Lagos hospitals: The Nigerian Medical Association, Lagos State Chapter on Thursday said the exodus of doctors from Nigeria had reached an alarming proportion and called for improved health sector funding to discourage it. The Chairman, Dr Olumuyiwa Odusote, said in Lagos that more than 40,000 of the 75,000 registered Nigerian doctors, were practising abroad while 70 per cent in the country were thinking of picking jobs outside. According to him, over 100 doctors resigned from the University College Hospital, Ibadan, in 2017 while about 800 doctors resigned from Lagos State hospitals in the last two years. Odusote described the situation as worrisome. “The health crisis in Nigeria is unprecedented as the mass exodus hits an alarming proportion. “Already, it takes a new patient two to three hours to see a doctor. “Over 100 doctors have resigned from the University College Hospital, Ibadan, this year; about 800 doctors resigned from Lagos State hospitals in the last two years, and over 50 in November alone. http://punchng.com/nma-raises-alarm-as-900-doctors-resign-from-uch-lagos-hospitals/ *********** Is this the country we want our children to grow up in? Or have we all given up on Nigeria? The system is not working because it was not built for us. The system is set up to work for the few powerful and privileged. Nigerian Youths, why are we okay with this? |
One major problem of Nigerians is that we choose to do nothing. Next election, same old recycled politicians, same faces, and we still carry ourselves to the ballot boxes to cast our votes. We do this hoping that this time, it will be better, this time the person will effect change. We do this over and over again and it failed us over and over again. A government that champagned to ban government officials seeking medical care abroad, yet the leader in our very own eyes, went to the UK to treat an ear infection. Nigerians could have carried a banner when he was on his way or during his return at the airport, with message on the banner stating "hypocrisy" "lies" and "deciet". But we do nothing. And they know we'll do nothing which is why they always get away with their failed promises. The youths are the hard hit. Cause they come to a point in their life when they realise that all the school runs and candle burning was for nothing. We can't support our aging parents who have given so much to raise us, because their are no jobs for us. The hopelessness makes the youth resort to a life of crime as their is nothing else to do to make ends meet. I call on every Nigerian youth who wants a better future for their kids to join NYRP - NIGERIAN YOUTH POLITICAL REVOLUTION MOVEMENT. Lets get our young vibrant minds into Nigerian Politics and choose leaders who have Nigeria at heart. Enough of old recycled politicians who have proved that they have nothing to offer. correctguy101:Amazing message. Thanks People need to know that they need to love themselves. If you don't love yourself, how is someone else going to love you? Most people remain in unhealthy relationships because of their own insecurities. Your partner should be "a part of you" not "all of you". Love thyself people. Thats the best way to have a healthy marriage/relationship. |
