Niaraland is like a Ghanaian board because you're all on Niaraland so , so sympathetic to whatever crap is attributed to Ghana. And If at all you couldn't avoid throwing insults, you'd all default to heaping insults on Africa or black race instead. Lynching and humiliating thives in this manner are both barbaric. If this had happened in Nigeria, you assholes on this board would be cussing and insulting everything Nigeria from a small Nigerian child to a Nigeria mother's very wombs. |
Jeon:Empathy?? If they have such empathy, why not just have him arrested or released instead of degrade him further than he already is by the porverty that made him steal? Making him dance must have involved a level of threat. What if he refused to dance? Most men would rather a quick death than humiliation. |
SenatePresdo:Evidently your brain didn't evolve much, mister Whiskey. PS Please, any human in the house, why was Whiskey and Bingo popular names for dogs in Nigeria? |
annisy:People can use the untolled bridge. The first untolled bridge is even a better looking bridge. You wouldn't, anywhere in the world, win a case that the tolling of the newer Bridge is an example of marginalisation. |
While I personally don't know of or ever heard of anyone who has had baggage stolen at any Nigeria airports, baggage theft is actually rife in America. JFk airports and O'Hara Internal Airport Chicago reputedly top the list of US airport notorious for missing peoples luggages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rrKOI2I1P4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZgFCQmx4LE |
Another Report Has this to say on the world's worst Airports for baggage theft and loss: Top 5 Airports Where Baggage Is "Lost" Or Delayed Olga Brighton Travel Information As wonderful as travel is, if you were to ask people what they considered to be the worst part about travelling and seeing our wonderful planet, nine times out of ten they’d say it was the journey, or rather, airports and flying. This is one reason why travel insurance can be so useful, because lost luggage can be a nightmare, but it’s a bit easier to deal with if you know you can claim for it. While some airports are fantastic, others have a less than stellar reputation when it comes to lost or delayed baggage. Here’s a look at the top airports in the world where baggage is lost or delayed. Gatwick Airport, London It’s sad but true that Gatwick features on the list. London is one of the most culturally diverse and popular cities in the world, but unfortunately for those of you looking to jet in, or jet off abroad via Gatwick, it’s considered one of the worst airports in the world when it comes to lost and delayed baggage. While improvements are being made, by reading online reviews you can tell what an issue delayed baggage at Gatwick Airport really is. Whether it’s sheer weight of traffic, a lack of manpower, lack of care or a combination of the lot, if you are planning on flying via Gatwick Airport, be wary that you may be at greater risk of losing your luggage or having a long wait for it. It always helps if you check that the correct destination airport tag has been placed on your checked-in luggage, as this can account for it going astray. Islamabad Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Pakistan Up next on our list we have an airport that is not only considered far from perfect for when it comes to lost, delayed, or even stolen luggage, but an airport considered to be one of the worst in the world. Islamabad Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Pakistan is expanding its customer base by around 14% each year. Surely then, this increased footfall would help the airport to make some much-needed improvements? Sadly it doesn’t seem like it. The current airport is simply too small, and just cannot cope with the 5 million plus passengers it sees each year. Because of this, you are virtually guaranteed a delay when the time comes to collect your baggage. And that’s if you are fortunate enough to collect it at all. Amongst the airport’s many problems, lost and delayed baggage is high on the list. Juba International Airport, South Sudan While South Sudan isn’t the most obvious destination for holidaymakers and tourists, it is very popular when it comes to travellers and aid-workers. Juba International however, is one of those airports that words cannot do justice for describing just how bad the environment is. It’s considered one of the worst airports in the world for a few reasons. Rather than the typical airport terminals you might expect, Juba International uses tents instead, and including parts where the roofing doesn’t fully shield you from the elements. Floors are rotten in parts, the walls are crumbling, and in all honesty, it’s surprising how this airport is still in operation. Needless to say, with conditions as they are in Juba International Airport, it’s not surprising that looking after your luggage may not be the number one priority. So our advice would be that if you do need to travel through Juba International, pack very light, leave your valuables at home and don’t take anything you aren’t prepared to lose. Santorini (Thira) International Airport, Greece Greece and the Greek Islands, despite its well-documented political and economic struggles over the last decade or so, remains a firm favourite for tourists and holidaymakers from all over the world. With its wonderful climate, friendly locals, breath taking scenery and delicious cuisine, we can see why. The Island of Santorini is no exception. Unfortunately, one of things that lets it down is Santorini Thira International Airport. The main compliant is that the airport is simply too small to cope with the tidal wave of holidaymakers that descend every summer. Many reviews speak of prolonged waits, often stretching outside the airport in the punishing summer sun waiting to collect luggage. When you do eventually make your way to the luggage carousel, you can look forward to being greeted by absolute chaos. Delayed luggage is virtually guaranteed, and lost luggage is not uncommon either. London, Luton International Airport Another ‘London’ airport. The main reason for the delays in luggage is down to the fact that recently the airport underwent some much-needed renovations, which slowed absolutely everything down. While there are no huge issues with lost luggage, it does still occur here, and delayed luggage is sadly very possible. That brings our look at some of the worst airports for lost and delayed luggage to a close. The best advice we can give here is to sort your travel insurance out nice and early, pack light, and don’t pack anything you would be devastated to lose. |
On this South Africa's Tampo International Airport, report states: Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA) spokeswoman Unathi Batyashe-Fillis said in response to the survey's alarming findings that the number of luggage items pilfered at present was much lower than the average number of 150 three years ago. The survey also indicated that travellers were upset about the high parking fees at South Africa's airports, with 72% of South Africans surveyed saying the parking fees irked them more than careless handling of luggage, unclear PA system announcements, lack of Wi-Fi services and surly check-in staff. However, Batyashe-Fillis said the parking rates at South Africa's airports were lower than those of airports in other countries. In addition, ACSA offered safe "state-of-the-art parking areas ... with no car theft or attacks having been recorded at any of our airports for many years". - Nivashni Nair |
An airport called Tambo International Airport is reputedly the worst airport in the world for baggage theft. |
Delhi airport wears baggage theft crown Sources said bag lifters are tipped off about an expensive baggage while they are being scanned. After the baggage come out of the scanners, the housekeeping staffs pass on the information to ground handlers. The ground handlers, in turn, identify the luggage and inform the loaders or baggage handlers. |
Google:So, millions of people pass through airports in Nigeria. Yet some weird individuals, probably from some crappy nation in Africa or Asia love to cease upon some individuals negetive experience in some airport in Nigeria to pass sociological aspersions at the people of Nigeria in some warped mission to subjugate the spirit of Nigerians and render them feeling inferior. |
Jennyclay:How many people pass through airports in Nigeria in one year ? |
DivinegiftofGod:Yet she would be scuffing Indian curry and Chinese chicken fried rice that also has strong aroma. Soon they will be secretly petitioning authorities to ban Afrobeat concerts. Black jealousy of other progressive blacks is the leading cause of the crap that has seen the rest of the world overpowering black people generally. |
Opposition Politics One side of the political spectrum: " unknown gunmen are killing everybody in the East, see what support for KANU has brought!" The other side of the political spectrum, replying: " Is the West of Nigeria Safe? Fulani Herdsman are killing everybody travelling along the highways and dumping thire bodies in the Bush. Agberu keep killing motorists in Lago and extorting money". One side of the political spectrum," see what Buhari has done to the Country, nowhere is safe in Nigeria!!!" Elun Musk, " Bleep me, I'm not setting up my next EV factory, first in Africa, in Nigeria, that place is a No-go!" Ordinary Nigerian, " no jobs in the country, na Jappa I dey so". The other side of the political spectrum replying Ordinary Nigerian, " blame the Government, evil wicked leaders!". |
Fearyourcreator:The mentality baffles me also. As a Deltan, and due to my circumstances, I am unlikely to ever live in Kaduna, Anambra, Lagos, or even Nigeria again but the negetive and positive things that happen in these places infuriate or pleases me because I'm a Nigerian. I avidly search for progressive articles on Millennium city development in Abuja, Eko Atlantic and the transport revolution taking place in Lagos; i was constantly searching for updates on the second Niger bridge although I am unlikely to ever use it; I'm continually searching for info on the power situation in Nigeria, the airports being built or planned by the different states; the docks, the space industry, the railways, the military and police, the state of education system, health, the Fintech industry and so on. If you are Nigerian, you should be pleased and proud about development and progress anywhere in Nigeria. Sure, I want Delta State to be the most developed and progressive place in Nigeria but not by wishing other states to fail. We need to approach Opposition Politics differently in Nigeria, right now it's very damaging and counter productive to the aim of improving and developing the Nation. For those unfamiliar with the term Opposition Politics: Opposition Politics is the politics, art, ecosystem of being the opposition to the government, party or group in political control of a city, region, state, country or other political body. |
OGwales:Were the musicians the organisers of the show or the attraction, the performers ? |
Same types moaning at Emefiele and suggesting that Nigeria should first learn to crawl before walking are same types that shout JAPPA the loudest and then JAPPA to foreign climes to immediately enjoy the benefits of progress and advancements ![]() |
Peter Obi Carries His Own BagWhat does this mean? Did elders and leading citizens of our ancient Africa kingdoms - from which we are advised to draw reference in order to shape our present and authenticate ourselves from aping the west - carry thire own stools, mats or yams? ![]() |
ukaface:If Nigeria turned into heaven today, people will still travel to other countries. Even biblical Angels used to sneak away from heaven to visit horrible Earth (comparatively) to fornicate with human women. There are more Americans living in Europe and other parts of the world than Nigerians. And, pound for pound, there are more South Africans living in other parts of the world than Nigerians. It is the Opposition Politics Industry of Nigeria that is stupefying Nigerians and creating these pathetic spectacles such as the one displayed by the woman in the video. This politics pressure group are hell bent on appropriating the intentions of all Nigerians into a uniform permanent anti Nigeria voice that is actually undermining Nigeria more than any so called evil leaders. The woman in the video may have been forced to flee Nigeria due to whatever reason best known to her but I and countless other Nigerians are abroad for different reasons. We are not all abroad due to bad or good government. The state of Nigeria is incidental. Reasons why individuals may leave one country for another are endless let's not limit ours to "Bad Nigeria" , let's stop lying. |

A shit hole with toilet seats is still a shit hole. |
ahnie:Eh, mister man, when Nigerians boast about "Sane Countries!" for example in instances such as this, they would typically mean that unlike Nigeria people won't die in Abroad nations due to attending something as simple as a concert. In short, Abroad is a fantastic country above reproach in any form. Nigerians wouldn't mean about how the Great and Glorious Abroad nations handle death matters. Deaths and crimes don't occur Abroad! Lets make no excuses for Abroad or try to save face for Abroad Nations in the name of keeping the people of Nigeria brainwashed. They bleeped up in the UK. These things unfortunately happen. |
ZombieTERROR:Really? Your experience as a Lagosian and a Nigerian? Or what you read? |
ZombieTERROR:Nigeria is not a Nation of 2 million people but 250 million approx. All the crimes posted on Niaraland added and squared would still be as if a drop in an ocean. Nigeria is in reality one of the safest Nations on earth so Nigerians in Nigeria don't go around in fear. |
The UK government's arrangement to discard her unwanted immigrants to Rwanda confirms my historic opinions that the EU used to press and pay Nigeria to take in Africa migrants , not Nigerians alone, stranded in Libya and refused by Europe during the height of the Mediterranean migrant boat crisis. Nigerians aren't generally aware that majority of so-called Nigerians brought back to Nigeria during crisis like these aren't actually Nigerians. |
I blame Oyibo people for putting revolution in historic text books and exporting it to Africa for dry teachers to regal stupid schoolboys. Ever since, Revolution has been the best suicide tool for Africa. |
