@dexmond I believe in the oneness of God. Both Allah not "allah" and Yahweh are one and the same. The God presented by Muhammed is not the true God. My reasons are the absurdity of muhammed's teachings. looks like he did not really know God. Here are some of them: Where does the confussion came from? Can you differentiate between the Allah you accepted and the one you declined? Mumammed received revelations to justify his marriage with his adopted son after he accidentally saw the wifes unclothedness. Agreed, can you justify your claim with any proof against them according to what you belief? According to vol. 2, no. 443, Muhammad said that people are tortured in hellfire because they soil themselves with urine. If perhaps this is a lie, then where is the proof against it according to what you belief? 1. You must not face Mecca when urinating or defecating (vol. 1, nos. 146, 147, 150, 151).This is a tradition of Islam, will you tell me the essence of putting cross in your neck, hands leg and so on. There a more absurd teachings that muslims can not defend, many of them now know that muhammed was not a true prophet after all. I will prepare more of such teachings with references so you can look up the hadiths for yourself. Do not believe me until you see the hadiths pls. There is no muslim who adopted Muhammad was not his prophet, otherwise regarded as kafir, unbeliefers like that of Christians. And i am expecting more of your hadeeths. I belief you will not quote from what you have no knowledge about. |

@aloy_emeka Who said anything about manipulating the law?. The God of the bible is concise and clear on these issues and offers total forgiveness as long there is repentance. You Allah, on the other hand do not offer forgiveness, rather, he offers punishment as a form of absolution. Which do you think is better and more real?.Oh brother, Sorry for not responding earlier, I am too busy these days. Almighty Allah encourages the believer to enter into his faith whole heartedly and follow the path which he recommended for them. In my last response, I suppose you got it right that I never says apostate can't be killed. Undeniably, there is provision in the law of Islam that apostate is punishable by death. However, depends on the community, and the contemporary circumstance in such community. Moreso, I am not a judge or scholar to pronounce death warant on fatwah on someone who leave Islam. But if someone does in a particular community, such judgement can can be assessed whether it is in line with what Allah says and the way prophet Muhammad explained it or implemented it in his life. The essence of killing someone that leave Islam must be more that just ordinary conversion, which is permissible. However, killing everyone that leave Islam is not justified either in the Quran or Hadith. First, there is no single verse of the Quran that prescribe death punishment for apostate. The hadeeth that says the apostate should be killed has only a sinle isnad which is not enough for judgement, except with interpretation. There is evidence in the hadeeth described a bedouin who came to prophet to cancel his pledge, but prophet Muhammad never killed him ordered him to be killed. Summarily, killing apostate is subjected to many interpretations which actualy depends on the community and most of those killed are possibly trace to rebellion or treason. Now, I need to highlight some of christians lies in your response: The God of the bible is concise and clear on these issues and offers total forgiveness as long there is repentance. I guess the gods of bible is different from one another, there is nothing like absolute forgiveness. The essence of having punishment is to deter others and the offender. The highest of all worldly punishment is death, which is actually the recommendation for apostate according to the bible. You can read the bold lines below: "If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying: Let us go and worship other gods (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other, or gods of other religions), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people." Deut 13:6-9 "And he should go and worship other gods and bow down to them or to the sun or the moon or all the army of the heavens, , and you must stone such one with stones and such one must die." Deut 17:3-5 "All who would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman." 2 Chronic 15:13 Jesus never sanctioned killing of anybody anywhere in the bible. Mohammed was a murderer but Jesus is alive and a lover, not a murderer. Math 15:4 "For God said, 'Honor your father and mother' and 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'" (by jesus) See, I cannot present all what the bible says about punishment. However, if people are wrongly implementing the laws or not using it, I don't know which is better, I believe Alloy-emeka would never fit follow what the bible says! |

@abuzola Salam Alaykum, The hadeeth has only a single Isnad, which can still be re-interpreted. First, there is no single verse of the Quran that command killing apopstate. And in the light of sharia as practiced by prophet Muhammad, we should be able to reference to at least example. Apsotacy could killed if trace to treason or rebellion and in war, he can be forgiven if he mean no harm. There is evidence of someone who came to cancel his pledge from being a muslim, prophet never ordered him to be killed. However, there were examples where apostate killed during the throne of Abubakri,uthman and others. There are apostacy laws in Islam as stated by all four imama, I will be surprise if anybody say there is no killing it. However, one should understand from the fore knowldge of the principals to extract the circumstances around each individual incident of apsotate before pronounce death judgement. In other words, what I am clearly emphasising is the wisdom and the best guidance Allah endowed us before judgment is prnonounced. According to sharia, apostate has levels and the highest level is the one which death warant could be pronounced. I wish if you have more reference I think we can discuss it. Aloy~Emeka: That is the propblem people have. If you happen to be the president and your child is guilty of murder, will you turn the law down because of your child? Even prophet Muhammad in his own time swear if his child is the culprit, he should be punished which is an example of a good leader. If cutting one hand of a single person will not stop him from stealing, then others will learn from it. Now, a child hand has never been chop off for stealing a pencil and if you have a case, present it. What you people don't realise is the provisions that the laws has in order to prevent such occurrence, even you re not subservient to it in manner of punishment. Tell me, how many people are hand are being cut daily or monthly in wherever the law is being used and juxtapose it with the way numbers of criminals are being treated in Nigeria and with our outward religiousness which does not even limit this outlaws. In your earlier response on killing apostate. Killing apostate is justified in the same way justified in the bible, however depends on the circumstance that warrant it. In other words, he could still be forgiven in correlating what Allah says that there is no compulsion in belief, and forever Allah does not love who transgress. |

@focussed123 Thank you for all your critiques on Islam and our beloved prophet. I still consider them as an ironic demonstration of overreaction as long as you can still trace some of what you read in those hadiths to what we here on news, read on internet by linking muslims to terrorists, fundamentalist and so on. First, I would like you to know that Islam define every aspect of human life and has procedures in implementing it as stated in Quran and hadiths. There is no arguement that prophet Muhammmad fought wars in his lifetime. However, what predate those wars and how was the event carried out. It was very clear in the history of Islam that the muslims went through a lot of tribulations and troubled in the hand of kufar. Accepting Islam and worshiping in islam was like inviting troubled. Yet, many accepted Islam including slaves, faced severe tribulations thereby some lose thier life like that of Zumayah and tortored like that of Bilal. Yet, they didn't fight. Afterall, muslims relocated to Madinah, many had to travel in the night to avoid being killed by the kufar. This mark the first Hirah in Islam. The muslims return to makah, thier homeland thereafter with much population, still the hostility and persecution from the kufar did not ceazed untill allah revealed the first verse to fight. After the conquest of makkah, people find tranquilty and total peace which prophet brought to every tribe living in Makkah and environs. In the light of this, the ffg verse revealed to muslims to accommodate the unbelievers. “If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure that is because they are men without knowledge.” Qur’an 9:6 No one raise a sword on anybody who doesn't accept Islam and even during war, only the people who raises sword were fought, the children, the old, the women,animals and the vegetations were all spared. In one quotation I read about our beloved prophet; stated thus: Exercising superb statecraft, he welded the five heterogenous and conflicting tribes of the city, three of which were Jewish, into an orderly confederation, His reputation spread and people began to flock from every part of Arabia to see the man who had wrought this 'miracle.' (Smith, 230). Now, regards to hadeeths you stated: When the prophet and the sahabah were victorious over thier enemy. Is there any wars fought in the bible similar to what prophet Muhammad or not? What responsible for those wars and how were they caried out? Was Jesus ordered his enemy to killed or not? Was jesus orderred his followers to buy sword or not? Was Jesus not stated he was not sent for peace or not? I think you need to ask yourself and justify your critique on Islam. Mind you, belief is not about what people say and what people do. I think you need to read the divine books. |

When the prophet said there would be sects in Islam, he didn't mentioned name. If by any analysis we find anyone against one of the sunah of prophet is not enough to categorise them as a sect. There are one, two or more several things which individual in his own conception capacity not too understand to the latest, and from there, it is possible to mis-apply it. Prophet(PBH) said in his own word the best generation of Islam is his own time follow by next, next follow. So, if anyone falls into error by mis-applying sunah does not necessary means a sect. Allah knows best. |

@neotic I think your questions were answered. You can point out where I deviated or you understand not. Muhammad wasn't a spirit, at least one can trace his grave, so other prophet were not spirit. There are ample evidence in your bible that holy spirit has been humans long before jesus. In order guide us, God has been sending human being as a prophet to guide us. First amongst them is Adam. I belief I can't make you understand unless you help yourself by reasoning about the holes in the bible, when it was read that the comforter will hear and speak. Which language does the spirit use to communicate and how do you communicate to hear your request? Some christians will respond it is still the same GOD and this is why they blend three entities together as one. Lo, you just only need to reflect more on what you read in the bible. It was also read in the bible that a book was given to who can't read, "Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."Isaiah 29 verse 12. We muslims say it is ref is no other than prophet Muhummad, christians due to thier mind-set,they rejected this truth, even they noticed the truth in his message. It was a norm in the society, marrying age is not divine, it only when someone is mature. Even, there is evidence that jesus mother gave birth at the age of 12, some differ it was 14 and so many girls after her. The girl reportedly died was not explicitly due to young age, I read it there was no adequate medical attention, it could have happen to 30yrs old woman. May almighty God guide us. There many things we can't question God. He placed Man higher in rank over woman on matrimonial life and He defined several rules on them both regarding each one's responsibilities. Do we accuse God why should women feel pain during pregnancy and delivery time?Out of this, some women in western world prefer to be operated during delivery. A man can beat her wife as the last resort. Such beating never meant to hurt her physically. It is agreed upon how it should be. I am a Muslim and I never beat my wife once, though we have some differences attimes. |

Muslims will tell you Allah says, they should called people to Islam with wisdom and patient. Did jesus mention anything like that according to what you belief, if yes, then you truly against him. Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord, ' (5.67) 'Aisha added. "But the Prophet saw Gabriel in his true form twice." [/b] There are several hadiths reported the israi wa miraaj and what prophet Muhammad saw regarding his Lord. No where was indicated the physical form of God he saw, rather in line with the above hadith that what he saw was vieled by light. Now, it was recorded in your bible that Moses hear his Lord's voice which he made an attempt to reveal to himself the unseen. What did he saw? Now, let me ask you which eyes has ever seen God? The bible never said anything about Muhammed. The bible talks about the comforter and Muhammed is not the comforter. Nezan: When you read Quran from fatiha to Nazz, there is no reference to what is called bible. What Allah revealed is Torah reveal to Moses(AS) or injeel, the gospel of Jesus(AS. Tell me, in your bible, which book is Jesus Gospel and which book is Moses Torah. The relevant one which was first five books you acclaimed to be by Moses was never even by Moses coz it was third level info. When you read Quran, just reflect on the wording, it is direct from almighty through angel jibril to prophet Muhammad and that was all revelation before it, not a conjoined incoherent stories, contradictions and the likes. There are so much ample evidence to disregard bible as Gods words, despite some goods moral teachings, related prophetic stories and the likes. There are story books who teaches morals lessons as well, but a book like bible becme wretched when you bring it under authorship of God Almighty. |

uchkochi: I percieve you as a great Jesus advertiser. A typical muslim already have the Gold and silver, the one christians are handling with dirty hands. When Jesus was born Just only with no father, ever you think of Adam with no father or mother and Adams wife just created from part of a man, all these systematic and miraculous way are very easy for God. All these miracles never substitue created being equal to God or near it. Do you ever reflect all the prophets before Jesus and thier people will be responsible and accountable for thier deeds. So do I and all other muslims while you loaded your sins and make it a burden for someone. Adam died and buried, Abraham died and buried, So Moses. Before messangership of prophet Muhammad, the whole of arab were in complete darkness. Idol worshippers, killing their female child and women were not better than slaves. He liberated them from ignorance, from opperesors, and gave light to the world with just a single book. What, if we called someone an illetrate, neither read nor write and brought a book, 1400 years ago has challenged the whole mankind, the book with no edition, no contradiction, has brought billons of people in harmonious way of worship. The book with a single author and not compilation of diffrent and incohehrent stories. More questions needs to ask if Muhammad was trully an illetrate. @GODSON2009 I think you need to reflect much on your words and read it over loudly to yourself. Analyse your statement word for word rightly started from your ID. Which God is your own father and which one did Jesus called upon, which one is in position during the three days of the one killed his authority siezed. When your god was on earth with his authority, why calling on another one for help. You need to wake up man and think straight. |

@olalekan As it been explained to you. It is allow for muslims to marry people of the book, either christian or Jews. However, you will need to make her be a complete muslim in order not to affect your future. I mean your children. Morover, Marriages like this, although permitted but also not generalise. Umar ibn Katab forbades some companions during his time forbades some companions when there are lot of muslims girls available. Also, there are many questions which arouse during marital life, which a man should asked himself before getting marry, such as which religious should the children practice, which festival should they celebrates and the likes. And in practice, how will you sort out the religious difference within the family. Such marriage in the light of spiritual commitment cost more than what a person prepared and with my experience with some family like that, the muslim husband regret in his old age when he realises the truth of hereafter and almost close to the end of his sourjon on earth. Lastly, if you think you can proceed to marry her out of love nobody can stop you, however, first you need to ask yourself, did you love her for Allah's sake or otherwise and knowing it right that you are taking a big risk and you are responsible for any action you take on your life. |

Nezan: Nobody is disputing that. Every prophet at his time is the way to God. Believing in Jesus as the way in in his own time affirming the belief in the prophets before him. While belief in prophet Muhammad as the last prophet is affirming the belief in Jesus and all other prophets. God has never been in state of confussion or revealing ambiguity less we, created being did. All prophets came to testify to only one God and never share part or claim His attributes. Even, Jesus in his own message confirm that. When you sleep, do you ever think that Jesus also sleep like you, when you are hungry and looking up to find what you eat and you call on God to provide for you, do you ever think that Jesus did the same. And when you are in state of panicking, fear threat and so on, you call on God for help, do you ever think Jesus did the same. These are attributes of created being, less the ever living God need not. Never sleep, hungry nor need your assistance. And every requirment or reccommendations from God is to all our advatnage and a trial. @ruhu May almighty Allah increase you in knowledge and wisdom. |
