Hmm, livedit most traumatizing experience, shoot there are many Phate07. ![]() To make a long story short, I remember many years back in high school, (livedit lived on the end house on my street next to a junkyard in a not so good neighborhood back then) (the hood) waking up one morning to go to let my puppy dog outside and opened the back door to find a n.aked lady dead wearing just a pair of red socks on laying on the side of the house. That's just one story. |
I agree with Mr, Cork and Mynd_44. Both relay the same meaning. A friendship is a relationship and a relationship is a friendship. You can't have one without the other. |
Yes. It means the same with either roles. A selfish act is a selfish act. Don't matter the gender. |
What's wrong with saying "I love you too" back? I say I love you to my parents, why not my husband? I'll say it in front of anybody and I don't care who standing there. I could care less if they sniggle or go "awwwww". Or sometimes even make jokes about us being mushy. SO! I love him and when you genuinely love someone, livedit not shy and/or ashamed to say it. |
iice:Right! I be like, I surely hope you don't have any enemies. They know where you are. I've seen people post their phone number on there for another person to call them. |
My heart goes out to you. This is really sad to hear what you are going through. I strongly advise to KEEP on praying that God will deliver your husband and restore your marriage/family. (IF this is HIS will). Have you tried asking him to seek marriage counseling with you? For the time being, I suggest you also try solo counseling as well to help deal with all of this until you figure out what to do. I'm also not the one to root for divorce. But in this situation, your peace of mind and happiness DOES matter in this marriage. It sounds like you are a very good wife and you don't deserve to be continually lied to and cheated on. Adultery IS an abomination. There is NO excuse for cheating on your spouse whatsoever. Either you confront him and lay it down straight. He needs to know the damage he is doing to your you and your home. I know you two have children together and history. But his infidelity is a liable cause to divorce if he continues to lie and violate the institution of your marriage. Do you have a pastor or clergyman you can go to? If he is not willing to work this out and stop his infidelity. Then I'm sorry to say, you may want to consider separating/divorce. Why continue to be miserable, heart-broken living with a cheater and a liar? I'm not the one to stay with someone, especially if thyweren't the one for the sake of the children. That's pure torment. Your children need to be taught values and morals and staying in a situation like this isn't healthy for them either. So you need to do what's best for you AND your children. |
Are you asking why SINGLE WOMEN are not submissive or MARRIED WOMEN are not submissive? If you are speaking of single women they are not supposed to be submissive to someone that is not their husband. If you are speaking of married women they are to submit to their husbands as their husbands submit to God. A woman that is married to a NONbeliever is not to submit to her husband.
Well said Mrs. Chima! Just about exactly what I was going to say. ![]() |
If you have stressed to your "friend" that you haven't slept with his wife already then it's not much more you can do. He is still going to believe what he wants to believe. I would probably guess he just maybe the one cheating ON his wife and trying to draw all the attention on YOU. With a friend like that, who needs enemies! He seemed more concerned about the thought and telling people his wife is cheating rather than trying to resolve it. Eventually, the truth will be unveiled and all his whimpering about you and his wife will be laid to rest. Right now, I would advise keeping your distance from him and his wife so no more accusations can be blamed on you. In the meantime, whomever approach you about this situation, you just set them straight by speaking the truth. This guy have no proof (if this is indeed the truth) to back it up. So with you keeping you distance and dignity, in the end, he will appear the fool in all this. |
Not at all since they ARE your family. Isn't that what family is for and it's only natural. Family is suppose to be supportive, lift you up, love you and be there for you. If you can't count on your own family, then who can you count on. I think it's great you have a good relationship with your family. That'll give you structure of what you will need once you do meet someone and start a family. Remember, that they are there to help build you on your way. Just try and make sure not to lose who you are as a person and as a man. |
I really don't blame you. UNLESS, it's absolutely necessary and it's temporary then he needs to explain WHY he feels the need to let his extended family move-in with him and his newly wed wife. Is he the ONLY person in the family who is able to take on such? I would let him know all the reasons why that wouldn't be a good idea. He also needs to explain completely why his cousins needs to move in permanently. Will they be paying rent while staying there? That is alot on the both of you. Have he really thought this through? Regardless, you do have a say-so in this situation and being husband/wife you two should come to a mutual agreement in this as a unit. |
This is scary, but definitely a rude awakening. Hopefully, people take heed to this post. I try to choose carefully what I post on Facebook. Because like you said, it can always come back and bite you in the "behind". That goes for people who you "friend" on those boards. So many vulgar and explicit pictures. That don't look good either. For livedit, she don't understand why people use that feature of "checking in" your location so people can see a map of where you are. |
UNLESS, she is doing all the spending or "treating" when you two go out on your dates, then why does she feel the need that just because you two are sleeping together that you should be compensating her even though you two are suppose to be in a "relationship"? I would have doubts about her too. No, you don't owe her anything. But do you take her out to dinner sometimes or a movie? If so, then you have a bonified reason not to trust her. I understand if a person asks for more of a person needing them to be more attentive. You are not her father or her husband. I really don't think that was approriate to ask of her "boyfriend" to get "involved" financially. Nobody owe you anything. Unless it's something you are leaving out. Regardless, it don't sound like you are happy within the relationship and stated you don't trust her. So where's theres no trust, there's no relationship. I think you might as well end it now and get it over with before any further feelings develops making it much harder to walk away. But I think you need to be real to yourself and break all ties and stop leading her on. Because she is going to continue to expect "more" of you than you are willing to give. |
No for many reasons. My sister and I have mad respect for each other first of all. Neither one of us have the same taste in men anyway secondly. Thirdly, I wish I would be fighting over some guy making a fool of myself. I could go on and on. Fighting over a guy is never an option Rokiatu. |
Regretfully, Livedit isn't a virgin but she's an awesome wife! So NO! Being a virgin does not automatically qualify you to being a good wife. I think it's a great thing she was able to sustain herself for sexual sin. But being a "wife" and a good "wife" for that matter takes a whole lot more of involvements than that. |
How could he draw a conclusion that she doesn't love him over something like this? He sounds a little spoiled and petty to me. I give him that she could've at least told the guy the deal, rather it be she didn't know if they allowed visitors or yes or no they do not. It's possible it could've slipped her mind and she forgot to check. Obviously, since she was waiting on the guy to come pick her up that she wanted to see him. How long have she been away at camp? Anyway's, I think they both have an apology in order and just drop the issue. I really don't think this is no big deal that he's trying to making it. How does she treat him when she's NOT at camp? I just think it's silly and out right impossible to judge how a person feels over something like this. |

kokoye:You had me going there. You made me waste an essay. How could you? Lol But on a good note, I'm glad to hear it was a joke. Devil beans? Ant houses or whatever? Jungle Justice? I was about to say, what is this world coming to? ![]() |

No. Livedit never heard of that. Oh my! Lordy B! Lol ![]() |
How long have you two been dating and what are your ages? But regardless of the fact, your ex has proven to be a liar and a cheater. Since we don't have enough "backround" on your relationship. It makes it a little bit more difficult to give a more accurate opinion/comment about this situation. Most of understand how you maybe feeling and what you are going through because most of us has already been through it or going through it. Unfortunately, this IS a part of the dating life. First of all you truly need to set some time away to get yourself together first. Right now I'm sure you're very hurt, confused and feeling betrayed. During this time you need to figure out who you are, your worth and know exactly what you want in a relationship. Quite frankly, if it was Livedit, this is just my opinion, I wouldn't take him back. But like I said, that's just me. Not only do you not trust him, but now you are going have to deal with a whole new set of problems and responsibilities now that a child has been brought into this. So now you have the drama with the baby's mother and so on. I strongly urge you to think long and hard and don't let him rush/push and/or manipulate you into getting back with him. You take as long as you want since you were the victim in all this. Prayer works wonders my dear and try to keep yourself surrounded by your loved ones such as your close friends and family for your back-up emotional support. Believe and know your worth that you are deserving of being treated right and loved in a relationship. Believe it or not, there are plenty of men that are out there who will see your worth and be trustworthy and faithful to you. Remember, you have the power to choose someone who will add to your life and not subtract from it by lying and cheating on you. |
Leave story for Mathias If that girl was in Nigeria she wouldnt try such Thats why women misbehave anyhow in the US cos they hide behind the law By the time kokoye and his friend lay their hands on some dry seasoned devil beans Grind it into powder and rub on her face and neck . . . It would take more than Good luck Jonathan to settle the case
I only say this because this girl is clearly immature and mentally unstable and I think all that's going to do is cause her to retaliate even more against his friend and this will never end. Why would the US law protect HER in this case if his friend reports her. I'm not sure about the laws in Nigeria, but there are other ways to make her pay without stooping to her level. I understand the dude is highly upset. I shatter to think if something like that ever happened to my car. But I just think all this going to do is add "fuel to the fire". |
That's awful Kokoye! Your friend can't contact the police and put the law on her for harassment and destruction of his property? Do you actually think this psycho of a girl will stop tormenting your friend even if he tries to get these "items"? She sounds like the type whose going to continue doing what she's doing no matter what your friend get. Fighting a devil with a devil is not going to get your friend anywhere and it's definitely not going to un-do what that girl did. I'm not saying he has to sit back and let her harass him and destroy his personal property, but I just think this may make things worse. |
Somethings don't necessarily have to be a secret, I just think you don't have to completely spill your guts about any and everything to your significant other. Especially if it has no barrens on your currently life/relationship. There are things Livedit has done in the past and she don't feel it's absolutely necessary to share with my husband. Livedit loves her husband with her whole heart and soul and we share just about everything to each other. But she feels sometimes things are better left unsaid if it's not an absolute necessity to tell. |
What the? Hilarious! I surely hope not! Because how pathetic would you be if this was true. |
I don't drink no form of alcohol period. But my husband likes wine, but rarely sips it. Livedit don't think it's anything wrong with "drinking" persay, as long as it's done in moderation. However, consuming more than the human body can handle to the point of alcoholism or drunkenness is bad on your health and overall well being. As you stated, you don't like women who drinks. It's definitely your prerogative. With that being said, "drinking" can be turn-off or a deal breaker for some people. |
Darwine:Thank you!! ![]() Pafuri: Too funny! ![]() |
No. I don't or want to entertain the thought of cheating. Why? Because I made a committment to God, my husband AND myself. My body no longer just belongs to me, but it also belongs to my husband. Why would I defile and disrespect my temple like that? IF my husband and I are having issues, why not pray first and discuss the issue before it has a chance to grow and fester into something bigger to where you thinking of such. Open communication is one of the main keys to any successful relationship. If you are meditating on the thought of cheating, then maybe you don't need to be in a relationship until you are able mind and ready to take on such an responsibility. |
Deal with it. Either accept what she is "ready" to do, or let her know how you feel and if she's not willing to "give-in". Well then, the ball is back in your court. Is this a dealbreaker for you? If it is, then maybe you need to let her go and find someone else who's willing to "open" up to you. Cheap tricks and/or manipulation won't get you any where. Be real, be kind and be honest with her. If she says no, then no means no. You can't force anyone to do anything they don't want to do. Besides, why would you want to? Wouldn't you rather want to be with someone who is willing to go along "willingly" instead of out of guilt, shame or force? |
Last time I checked my bible, the bible says: a husband is to cling to his wife and FORSAKE his family. This was written for a purpose in marriage. Your husband is to love, cherish and take care of you as he does with himself. Would he approve being treated this poorly by not only his spouse, but the family too? They have zero respect for you AND him! What kind of morals and values are taught in this family? My God! Livedit can't believe what she is reading! There is NO WAY in the world would I tolorate this behavior from my husband and especially not from his family!! Then on top of that, he had the ordasity to put his hands on you? I don't care what you said to his younger sister. Where is the open-communication and respect in this relationship? I'm not the one to promote divorce, but you definitely need to pray and ask God for guidance and wisdom so you will take a stand and seek professional help with this situation. Because this is going to take God to change this situation. (If this is His will for you two to be together) |
If these women are always wanting to deal with "unhealthy arguments" it's probably because they are miserable, unhappy and have nothing constructive to do. |
