Wow, that isn't a nice thing to say since she is YOUR girlfriend. Obviously, you found something attractive about her since she is your woman now. So what features attracted YOU to HER in the first place? Why not think about that? Obviously, she can't be THAT ugly or rather that non-attractive. If beauty IS that important to you, then there are plenty of women in this world who will also make a good wife as well. Truly you need to stop basing YOUR future on what someone else may or may not think. Do they have to look at her or live with her? NO. So why should their thoughts/opinion weigh any opinion. As long as she is good to you and treating you right and YOU like her, what's the big deal! |
This thread is hilarious! I've always associated dry chapped lips due to dehydration and sometimes cold weather. I think most people (if not all) have uneven lips, either the top lip is smaller/bigger than the bottom lip and vice versa. The first guy in the photo livedit thinks is handsome, very nice smooth looking facial skin. All he needs is to lick his lips, lip balm or drink some water. Mrs. Chima, you ain't right. You are so silly! |
Wow! Five years and you still haven't had an discussion about marriage. You are long overdue in discussing this matter. You have every right to want to know if marriage is in your future plans. For some men, this is an uneasy topic and some men have a hard time discussing a permanent committment. But you need to know because this is something you want. When approaching this to him. Make sure you do it tactfully and in a non-intimadating or nagging way. You just ask him his thoughts on marriage first of all. Then you share view points and that's when you nicely yet firmly ask him if he see marriage in your furture together. Once he let you know then you have to decide from there what to do next based upon his answer. Whatever you do DO NOT pressure him. This is his choice and it should be made without feeling like he is being forced to do it or out of some ultimatum. Because if he is a man that don't believe in it, then that's HIS feelings. But you make sure to let him know how marriage is important to you and let him decide from there if he want to run the risk of losing you or keeping you if you decide to walk. |
I farted and went back to sleep.
LMBO! You are so silly! ![]() |
No it's not anything wrong with expressing your future plans about having children to your fiancee. This is something that needs to be discuss anyway through marriage counciling. This will determine if the two of you are a suitable pair. If she is not willing to go along with your plans about having these two children then you may want to reconsider marrying her. Children are important and it's a life altering decision and why bring children in this world (granted she gives in just to please you) you don't want and will regret. This would cause even more issues within the marriage. You are at your very right to want what you want as she is to her's. |
Nah-ting! For others who does do it. Could be for various reasons. Just like iice stated above; boredom, unhappy, discontented, because they can, selfish, , no self control, vengeance etc. The list goes on and on. |
Phate07:Why thank you sir! ![]() |
Phate07:Okay Phate07. Livedit isn't the one to be argue. It's not that serious. That is your opinion and I respect that.
Still LMAO@ the term "Online Relationship". ![]() Everything I see that word I keep hearing the song Computer Love.
Hey Mrs. Chima!!Lol. Girl, do you know my sister put that song as my ringtone on her phone? I was like what the? Too funny! |

Depending on my mood is what I play. I love to listen music to remind me of my husband or how much I love the Lord. So my taste various on and on. I sing too and play whatever soothes and ministers to my soul. |
M M M:OMG! LMBO! You all are killing me. ![]() |
This thread is hilarious! Why the violence? Why the only way to TRULY prove you love someone is through death? God has already done that for us. HE was our LAST sacrificial lamb. Besides, wouldn't you wonder WHY your spouse or significant other has a bullet with his/her name on it? Then you diving in the way like superman/woman to take the "heat". Wow! Maybe you don't need to be with that person if people is out to kill them. Anyway, there is way better way to prove to someone you love them. That's through living not dying. Then you can actually SHOW me love. How can you show me anything dead? ![]() Silly thread. Got to love em'! ![]() |
Wow! Interesting article! Thanks for sharing! |
Phate07:Hi Phate07! I'm sorry brother, I'm going to have to disagree with you. That is NOT a fact. That's an opinion/rumor. Not every relationship was destined to be put together one specific way. People can meet in the silliest or craziest ways. It don't always have to be you out at an event, work, or walking down the street or hallway and bump into someone. It's not like an old LL Cool J back in the day video when you driving past and pick a girl up standing at the bus stop licking on a lollipop. What IS fact, if God haven't joined the two together. He won't keep together. So that goes for any way you meet someone. |
Let's face it, YOU cheated and YOU lied and it's going to take TIME for her to get past this. Yes, she should forgive you, but forgetting takes time. Asking you to move is a bit absurd, but obviously she feels very uncomfortable trying to start a new life with her new husband right next door to his ex-lover he cheated with. That's a hard pill to swallow each and every day. But at the same time. You moving isn't going to change the fact that you cheated. Moving doesn't mean that you won't cheat again (with someone or even the same gal for that matter). You can't run from your past. What you did was wrong and I'm sure she appreciates you being honest enough to tell her. But because of what you did, there is STILL going to be repercussions. Besides, how would you feel if the roles were reversed? Anyway, if it will be a financial burden for you two to move then she will just have to deal with it and keep working on trusting you again. You betrayed her. This is something you both will have to deal with for the rest of your lives. You can't expect a quick confession and no consequences. You did the crime and you have to do the time. If this is the one you truly love and want to make things right, then you need to do whatever (within reasonable means) to convince her you are changed and can be trusted again. |
iice:Exactly iice! You and jaybee said it all. You two want different things in this relationship. Quite obvious, that you two are not on the same page. You headed one way and he headed in a whole another direction. This guy sounds selfish. It's time you start thinking and DOING what makes YOU happy! If he isn't down for making you happy, then I think you should walk. What's wrong with open-relationships you say?? EVERYTHING! Don't settle, especially when you don't have to. There are plenty of men out there who will be committed to you and only you. |
Kpomo, try to chill out. Why worry about something you can't change or take back now. You realized she was married, apologized for it and she forgave you. Let it go! It's no big deal. Just think it could've been worse. This was only a quick peck on the lips after seeing someone you haven't seen in a long time. She didn't stop you so obviously she don't have no issue with it. Why should you? I think you are worrying over nothing. She's probably gone on about her daily life and haven't given that "kiss" a second thought. Chill my brother. |
Livedit met her (now) husband online and very happily married. We've known it each now going on 2 years. We married a little over a year later after courtship/meeting. He is the same today as he was when I met him. Sure, my family AND his family was against us. Even laughed and made jokes saying it wasn't going to work out and the normail stereotyping and closemindness I'm hearing today. Now my honey and I have the last laughed. Both sides adore us. I also have friends who met online. Now happily married with families going strong. It just amazes me how many people are so closed minded. Still living in this box of the way they think things should be. Not all online relationships work just like not all "real life" relationships work out. People can be a fraud on and offline. The point is, regardless of the original meet rather on or offline, you DO need to meet again and again etc. to get to know each other. I met my ex-boyfriend in person. And Lord forgive me, I swear he was the bottom of the barrow. He was a fraud, liar, cheater, deceiver, user, loser and a scammer. Regardless on how a couple meet, rather online or offline, you need to take the time to get to know each other. Sure, online you can meet alot of criminals/scammers, but is it just limited there? Just like in "real life" you have to be careful whom you hook up with. You can STILL pretend to be someone you're not. So according to some people, all failed relationships failed because they must've ALL met online. Wow!! |
I'm with Mrs. Chima on this one. No more than 5years older/younger. Unfortunately, age does matter to Livedit. |
What exactly is she trying to find out about her partner's past? Regardless, they are not married and what he did up until the point he committed himself to her is not of her concern. Why create heartache and unhappiness willingly? Like you said, somethings ARE better left untold unless it affects the NOW. If his past is that much of an issue then maybe she need to find someone else with no "past" (if that was actually possible) |
Your heart. |
Sure to some people cheating maybe is fun, exciting, even exhilarating etc. But the repercussions are way too great of it. It's sad as mentioned before in an earlier by another poster, that some people cheat just because they can. Because they know whomever they are with will continue to take them back so why stop? There's NEVER and I repeat NEVER an excuse to cheat on your partner when in a committed relationship. If your "bored" or "unhappy" then you have YOUR own free will to either try to work it out or leave. It's so much more at stake than some people fail to realize. Whatever you do in your body, you will have to answer for. Don't matter what the "other" person did or said. You are given choices in life and cheating IS a choice. It has nothing to do with the other person, it's you. |
This is all fine and dandy. But wouldn't it also be a good idea to let the chick(s) he is dating in on that he isn't looking for anything serious or a commitment with her/them |
Livedit prefers all of the above because she is a hopeless romantic! ![]() A) Public Displays of Affection - Because I love displays of affection. Show's how hee is so into me and I'm so into him. B) Private Conversations( Phone, Chat, Mail) - This is where we can share our most intimate feelings and thoughts about each other so we can connect on a more emotional level and keep the flames burning. ![]() C) Physical Intimacy (Sex only) - this one is pretty much self explanatory! ![]() D) Surprise Gifts, Flowers. - this let's me know that he appreciates livedit and vice versa. Keep things spicy and interesting. E) Romantic/Candle Night Dinner(s) - gotta have that time alone together through candle light to connect emotionally and spiritually. So we can contine to grow even more in love and learn more and more about each other and things. F) Romantic Outings(Beaches e.t.c) - Lived absolutely LOVES the water and what better way to enjoy something you love with someone you so much love and adore! |
I agree with Mynd_44. He not serious about you nor trying to be in a relationship (that you want) with you. All he want to do is bump pelvis's with you. Don't settle. You don't have to settle. When you do, you only cheating YOURSELF. IF you do decide to give in, please don't go into this thinking you will be able to change him and things will be different. Remember the reason as to why he is an ex. |
You've been given some very good suggestions already. So Livedit don't have much more to add to those suggesions/comments. Everyone get's angry, but if it's too the point where it's really affecting your well being along with your family life, then you definitely dealing with something much more serious. It sounds to me, you are dealing with a spirit of "rage". You said that you've been praying and fasting. Have you also tried deliverance? By this I mean not only spiritualy, but counciling to find the root cause of why you are having these episodes. It's always good to pray and fast so you can talk and hear from God more clearer, but when you dealing with a strong hold such as this. You will also need to be delivered. Far as your woman. Maybe you can try talking to her again and stressing to her that you do recognize you have a problem with your anger and asure her you are seeking help for it. You can try asking everyone whom you offended for forgiveness and for their prayers as well that you will get the help that you need. Maybe they all can go to counciling with you to help and learn how to deal with this problem until it's resolved. This is all you can do. I'm sure your woman means alot to you and you don't want to lose her. But you will have to understand she has her choice if rather or not she want to stay and continue to stick this through with you. This is a lot to deal with and it will take alot of patience from loved ones. Just think if the roles were reversed and it was you that had to deal with someone like that. |
Dump him, throw him out the house and then I would press charge against him for being a pedophile. |
It sounds like to me that you've developed this overly emotional co-dependency with this guy. What you are feeling is not natural feelings you should be feeling for this "friend". You should NOT be feeling all these "emotions" you are feeling for a man that is NOT your husband. I understand from what you said that he is a "good guy" an all. But this "friendship" is taken way too far on YOUR part. You truly need to slow your roll and back up for a second. Obviously, you are lacking a emotional and physical fulfillment in your marriage and this is why you are latching on to someone else's husband to fulfill that void. If your husband isn't meeting these "needs", then you need to try communicating these needs to him because these needs are very important. You should not be emotionally connecting yourself to an "outsider" or a stranger. That guy you are co-dependent upon is an innocent unknowingly bystander in all this and don't deserve this kind of responsibility. You truly need to think about that. Would you want a friend to do this to you or your loved one? I'm sure if that guy was well aware of the deep "feelings" (non-intimate) you have for him, he'd probably run for the hills or tell his wife and she may make YOU run for the hills. If you and your husband are not getting along and having problems with open-communication, then you definitely need to seek professional help. I bet your husband have no idea his wife is seeking emotional fulfillment in another man. That's not fair to him, you or that guy. |
Phate07:No. At least not any that I can recall. This happened in the winter, during my freshman year in high school. My younger brother was still in middle school. He did have a break down at school afterwards. Probably made it worse because he actually went over there to look at her up close and personal like he "macho". I can still remember what she looked like and everything. |
If your "ex-boyfriend" treated you wrongly that YOU had to end it. Why do you think you can still remain friends? You are still emotionally AND spirtually connected to him. This is why you are getting those funny "feelings" about him and vice versa. You have not completely released him and it's going to take prayer to break those ties you two have. I really don't think it's a good idea to keep in contact with him. This is another reason you are experiencing difficulties getting over him. He has no valid reason whatsoever to be calling you. You two are no longer together. The relationship did not work out and it's over. Leave the past in the past. You don't have to be cruel or mean about it. I think you should let him know it's in best interest that he no longer contacts you. At least until you have completely released him and set him free from your heart. |
Phate07:Oddly Phate, I didn't have nightmares. However, I was traumatized for the next several months when I had to let my dog out in the morning thinking another person would be laying there. Even until this day whenever I visit the old neighborhood, I look strangely over there where she was. |
This thread is hilarious!
