Blah blsh blah
Read to understand; I referred to Ojukwu's movement during the July 1966 coup and not his other "movement" to Côte d'Ivoire. It appears he had a penchant for self preservation and bolting.

And please someone should open a thread on the history of opposition politics in Nigeria cos some sort of historical revisionism is taking place with some people calling the Yorubas slaves of the Hausa because of the current coalition of the Apc formed from ACN and CPC and ANPP. But others have collaborated with the the North even before the West did. Let the records be set straight.

Cheers
You waste your time. They do not need records straight; they merely speak out of bitterness and have no care for facts.

Brig. Adebayo s conduct during the counter coup crisis does.
Ha ha. What we've heard has been Ojukwu's criticism of Adebayo's "conduct". Meanwhile this Ojukwu the critic who was already safely ensconced in the South East STILL decided to relocate and hide away in a perceived more secure location elsewhere in the South East. Yet he "encouraged" the perceived "dummy" Adebayo to continue sticking his neck out and wait for Madam Guillotine's blade; even as the said Adebayo's subordinates were disregarding his orders and there was complete breakdown in the Chain of Command. Who be mugu?

Ojukwu may just have read and forgotten the Military Strategy studies he took at Sandhurst. Otherwise, what sane strategist will CHOOSE to fight on multiple fronts?

How often do you get to hear of joggers getting mugged by an angry mob? You didn't even read the main article, so fuckoff dude.
Just 2 weeks ago in Igando area, a kidnapped man who escaped and ran from his kidnappers at dawn was almost killed by a mob. It took a rational mind amongst the senate of baboons to save the man's life. Was the man carrying a gun?

Why would a soldier not on uniform be jogging with a pistol on him?
If he went jogging without a pistol and still got accosted by a mob (oh by the way, mobs do not need to see a weapon before labeling you a thief), the question would have been "why didn't he take his weapon with him?". People like you will always find a way to blame the victim rather than examine the irrational behavior of the mob.

The man was the cause of his own misfortune how can a man hold a short gun in the public without been in uniform and think he will not be suspected to be an arm robber.
Your entire post already tells a lot about you; the "short gun" part was the clincher.

He IS very much in the right business. Only sane, rational and non-impulsive minds should handle guns. I guess you are used to barbarians and all kinds of miscreants handling guns in your neck of woods that you don't know what is normal anymore?

You are foolish to say the least. Have you ever been faced by a mob? I can only imagine the guy was trying to appeal for calm and identify himself so that he wouldn't have to kill anybody.

No need to arrest her. In an ideal setting, you just wait for her to deliver and then take away her baby and give to the maid's parents.
Ideal? Someone committed murder, you say she should have her child taken away as punishment. You think a murderer really could care so much about her children? Thank goodness we have proper laws.
