You better make it commercial to avoid labouring in vain for 2023. One of the biggest problems Obi will have even if he becomes president accidentally is that too many people who are voluntaring for Obi now will come back to brag or expect Obi to elect them into position for this and that directly or indirectly. Some will say they donate cars, houses for his campaign, are they not suppose be given this or choosen for that?

Some jobless people (not all) are busy wasting their useless time thinking when obi comes, he will use collective Nigeria money to solve their family problems, but they will be dissappointed because problems of poverty some families have created for themselves knowingly and unknowingly; if ten million naira is given on monthly basis by government to every citizen, it can't solve them. People like that will still come back to blame Obi that he is not performing and that they are dissappointed in him.

No government or leader can satisfy human beings; they will always reign, try their best and go. Many leaders and presidents do try their best to satisfy followers, but it can never be possible because human needs differ. Never over dependent on any government, go and look for legitimate work to do to avoid wasting your time looking for perfect government because you can never find in this contemporary digital world.

I never over expect anything from Atiku, Obi, Tinubu; what i want from government is different from needs of others. Government that is ruling is better than the one that has never ruled before. We can only make blind choices and guesses among obi, Atiku and Tinubu. However, among the three in term of experience, legacy of visible development during their reigns, complexity of state govern, nurturing ideas into reality and spreading wealth.

Out of all these parameters, to be frank Tinubu and Atiku still have experience more than Obi. Tinubu is most preferred candidate if you put facts together without sentiment, bitterness and hatred. I discovered some are only pushing for Obi just because they hate Tinubu, not because they don't believe he has track records or competence.

Giving laptop to secondary school students that are now graduates without teaching or monitoring them how they properly used them for positive results have turned many of them to yahoo-yahoo spreading like wide fire to every part of country. Without hatred and bitterness, in theory and practical assessments, Tinubu remains best prepared presidential candidate for 2023.

So as usual, one relatively young Peter Obi supporters came to ask me to become Obidient. He mentioned that PDP was the same with APC and we cannot vote both of them. He went on to say Atiku and Tinubu were too old and both don't mean well. The usual story. So I reminded him that he asked me to vote for Atiku in 2019, so I wanted to know what has changed. He went on the repeat the same things he started with and he mentioned Obi was the only one who could save Nigeria. So I asked three questions.

1. What if Atiku/Obi had won in 2019. Would he still be saying the same thing. So if Atiku/Obi ticket which he was pushing won in 2019, would he still be calling Atiku a thief and Obi a saint? His only response was that, we thank God that did not happen. So I asked him if he was wrong for pushing the Atiku/Obi ticket in 2019 and he had no answer.

2. I asked him if APC and PDP are that terrible, why should I vote for a man who has been in PDP for the past 7 years and only left a month ago. This same man was PDP vice presidential candidate when Atiku was sharing dollars in 2019 and he still wanted to be president under PDP up until one month ago when he realised he couldn't win. Again, he had no answer.

3. I asked him if Peter Obi miraculously won the election, and the NASS was controlled by APC or PDP. What does he think will happen next? It will be very clear Peter Obi wouldn't get anything done because he will have a very antagonistic NASS. Labour Party does not have candidates in 80% of the NASS positions and will barely get any senators or reps. So if the NASS is controlled by APC/PDP, then Peter Obi will either get impeached or join the APC./PDP. Labour Party has no structure, no representation, it is a one man show. Peter Obi will probably decamp again to PDP or else get impeached. Again he had no answer.

So he agreed to get back to me when he had the answers to these three questions. May be some Peter Obi supporters on Nairaland have answers to these three questions. Lets wait and see.

1. People who think hunger and insecurity have respect for gender, ethnicity, religion or political affiliation. If the structure we have today have brought us to this mess, we need a total overhaul to get right. Proverbs 11:3: if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? Until we change the foundation (structure), we can't move forward as a nation.

2. Those some how benefitting from the ongoing corruption. 3. Those blinded by ethnic hate. Nigeria is strongly divided along ethnic lines. The thing we don't realise is that there was a time when all the people of the earth had one language (Genesis 11:1-9). We all had one ethnic group and the power of unity that generated was so powerful that we were on the verge of building a tower that would reach the heavens. Even God Himself said nothing could stop us now we were of one accord (Genesis 11:6). He had to come down to confuse our language (give us different tongues) cos we were misusing the power of our unity to challenge His supremacy.
If as a nation we can forget about tribe and ethnicity, what we can achieve as a people will be so huge that even God will be in awe (respectfully speaking).

It's time to make Nigeria great again (MNGA)!

I have always said that Peter Obi is eminently qualified to President. I have my own issues with Peter Obi but I can never deny the fact that overall, the man did well when he was Governor of my state Anambra. He is a good candidate for President. Personally, I dont think Peter Obi can win the Presidency, nobody in the North will vote for him, no matter how good a candidate he is. Being both Igbo and a Christian has ruled him out in the North.

But in the unlikely scenario that Obi wins, it will a very bad thing for us Igbos.

If you wonder why, then think of what happened to the last Igbo man who was President of Nigeria. A military revolution resulted in General Ironsi becoming the first Nigerian to be head of state, and commander of the armed forces(before, both offices were seperate). From the day Ironsi became President, his government was sabotaged. There were some power blocs in Nigeria that could not sleep at night knowing that an Igbo man was head of state and commander in Chief. They lied against Ironsi, plotted against him, misquoted him at every opportunity, used propaganda against him, claimed that everything Ironsi did was for the benefit of Igbos, painted his administration black. They even massacred Igbos during Ironsi's regime. When the time was right, they took out Ironsi. To this day, they still lie against Ironsi and claim he abolished Regionalism introduced unitary rule, something that everyone knows Gowon did. They say this because they need to blame Igbos for Nigerias woes, yet no Igbo has been President since Ironsi, 55 years ago

Should Peter Obi become President, what happened to Ironsi will happen to him. There are some people who will not be able to sleep at night knowing that an Igbo man is in Aso Rock. Obi's government will be sabotaged from day one, he will be misquoted at every opportunity, they will unleash propaganda against him, reduce everything he does to trying to benefit Igbos, paint his administration black, and try to take him out. Obi will spend 4 years fighting forces that have entrenched themselves in all strata of government for over 50 years

The resultant effect is that his government will fail, Igbos will be blamed, ostracised and masacared. Many Igbos still dont understand the Nigeria they belong to. It is one where the power blocs dont trust an Igbo man with the Presidency, are highly suspicious of the Igbo man, and they want to see the Igbo man fail politically

A Peter Obi Presidency will be very bad for Igbos. What the Igbo nation should be talking about is independence from the failed British colonial contraption called Nigeria. It will not be a good thing for the Igbo nation, for Peter Obi or any Igbo man to be President of Nigera. If the 30,000 Igbos slaughtered after Ironsi was killed, were alive today, they would say the same

I experienced this when I told three Igbo friends to get their PVC. I said I would personally drive them to the station and get them registered.
