But so long people drive recklessly without caution needless death like this won't reduce. The FRSC who are to keep the road free of reckless driving are busy collecting bribe in the cities leaving most high ways unmanned.
We as a nation must enforce our laws, reckless drivers who causes the death of others should serve jail time to serve as deterrence to other. Civil suits should be filed by the family of the injured/ deceased against the estate of the negligent driver either dead or alive, when people begin to take responsibility for their deeds, then sanity will return to our roads.

That streach of road can be quite slippery, especially when it rains. The last time I travelled through there, I saw three vehicles that veered off the road into water logged ditches along the road.
The above means that in very wet conditions, drivers should reduce their speed, very drastically as oil slick can make the roads very unpredictable, even if you are a good driver and think your car has very good brake system.

"The majority of the people feel that there is no replacement, a successor who to them is acceptable, as acceptable as I am," he added.

Mugabe, who has kept an iron grip on power since Zimbabwe declared independence in 1980, has repeatedly denied reports of health problems.

A very big indictment on you Mr Mugabe because succession planning is a big part of Leadership.
You have been in power for about 37 years, yet you are openly confessing to the world that you have not found worthy successors among your people to groom for future leadership positions in your country, you ought to cover your face in shame and not gloat over this fact.
We all know that if Mr. Mugabe drops dead this minute, many more qualified Zimbabweans, than himself, will be quick to step out and pick the leadership mantle of the country
My only fear for the country, is that it does not descend into chaos and anarchy, in the case of a sudden passing by Mugabe, because peaceful political succession has never been allowed to take place in the country hence it will take their polity awhile to adjust to it.

We igbos are not going to get anything from Nigeria except we take it. These men have no longing to come to the east and do anything tangible because they did not map igboland as part of their economic plan.

These leaders should understand that this is the time to take the disadvantage of this country and make it their own advantage. They should stop complaining and make real decisions that will affect the lives of an average igboman. The economic situation of the masses now is such that the govt. needs to get its act right by formulating the right policies needed to get the country out of recession, while dropping others like multiple foreign exchange rates and stiffling foreign exchange controls that do not augur well for business firms and individuals.

Its crazy, like you said. Each time I drive on that road, vehicles will be speeding past me as if there is a race going on.
There was a day, I must confess, I tried keeping pace with those speed-racers, but I could not.
I hope the car in the accident above did not ram into a roundabout, because there are so many of them on that road that sometimes, on high speed, you will be surprised that a roundabout is just ahead of you.
