Henry240:Henry. The COAS stated that the NEC has released the $1B and the NA is about to procure: 1.MRAPS 2.APCs. This was in one of his speeches this past weekend. Question do we know if these MRAPS. and APCs are coming from ProForce or from South Africa? |
Love see the COAS doing pushups with the boys. Keeps them Shredded. Keeps them in shape. |
Henry240:Thank you |
Xbee007:They do quantity is unknown but they have already been used. The only clarification will be the degree of precision. Don't doubt it. |
BlackBaron:They already.have guided Arty Shells. |
lionel4power:I believe they married two things together.I will mention the two things tommorow .I believe he was being cagey for a reason.I will disclose those tommorow. |
lionel4power:UAV are different in terms of Generational.I.e.when they were built, Endurance level. Max pay load and ability to communicate with both land based and Orbital based Satellites.Flight ceiling. The Amebo was the first Generation. This is arguably the fourth and the difference when profiled tomorrow will be glaring. |
barineh:No it is not Sorry to pour cold water on this . Army is leaning towards: IFVs APCs Comms Artillery Drones. Country of Interests South Africa China UAE UK* There is evidence to what I alluded to Two years ago about the UK supplying Nigeria with Small Arms (They include the L'Series Sniper Rifle) |
BruncleZuma:Very difficult to do. |
jakeporeshenko:. I have seen pictures of Caucasian men, I think this is a plausible explanation, under the auspices of the MJNTF and the G5 to which France and Nigeria are signatories. This is what is taking place. There are French as well as US Soldiers in Niger.I don't want to muddy the picture but both have personnel in Niger. |
tdayof:Quite a few of those SU25 have dropped out of the skies in Syria .I am a little bit worried about Nigeria acquiring them . |
jpphilips: |
frumentius:I criticized you frumetius and I have yet to hear you man up and post a rejoinder. Nigeria already has Drones and PGM Missiles we don't need a replica from South Africa. I am critical of your posts because they are self serving.Answer the question are you from Ammnesty International Why did you see fit to put a map out that showed Nigeria as a hybrid democracy. What was the purpose. When will tou see fit to criticize South Africa? South Africans who don't want to see Nigeria succeed suffer from a gross case of inferiority complex. The planes including the JF 17 are going to be bought if you dont like it go and hug a transformer. |
This is what Frumentius spits out on an African thread and when I go after him , for what he really is people say I don't like him they are WRONG I do not like what he spews or what he stands for FRUMENTIUS is a left wing self serving AMMNESTY mole who believes everything black is bad and everything white is good I will go after him FRUMENTIUS found it convienient to quote an article that has Nigeria as a HYBRID democracy ( WTF) that means, this is a country that has had a peaceful election 2 years ago , whereby the Incumbent President called the opposition party leader before the votes were finished counting to concede and handed over. Nigeria has also been instrumental in witnessing democracy in The GAMBIA, LIBERIA AND S/LEONE South Africa on the other hand has not witnessed a change of power from the ruling party to the opposition since the ANC came power and yet it is painted in full green like it is a full fledged democracy, the PRESIDENT who is neck deep in corruption has been since day one unable to launch anything coherent in terms of policy except to say " i am not corrupt" FRUM when are you going to strart highlighting South Africa's problems, or Ammnesty INTERNATIONAL forbids you from doing that? In Nigeria cops that kill civillians ,get life imprisonment or even the death penalty does AI give South Africa a pass? oh i forgot they are not on the frigging leahy paper my bad! ![]() I know and understand what type of individual you are. |

jpphilips:JPHILIPS The vote on ISRAEL changes nothing I find it interesting you chose to criticize Nigeria's vote against Israel but you conveniently forgot to criticse EGYPT /Saudi Arabia/ Qatar all whom have MULTI BILLION dollar weapons deals with the U.S. heck one even gets free stuff. whom all by the way voted against it , they didnt chicken out like some African countries by abstaining. And by the way another question for you if you won't stand for something you will fall for anything, why should NIGERIA abandon her principles just because of ONE weapon's procurement, not to be sarcastic but ISRAEL and Nigeria maintain not only diplomatic relations , but also Military relations as well. My question to you is why single Nigeria out is there a genuine MOTIVE OR IS THERE SOMETHING BEHIND IT? hopefully you are not another Ammnesty in disguise like frum who are doing there inherent best to kill this deal. DT has signaled his interests and Nigeria will hand over cash come Feb18, 2019 one single vote against ISRAEL won't change a thing. |
olapluto:On a lighter note ![]() The AC-130 was given the name the Angel of Death I am collecting nicknames for the CH-3A here are my two kobos 1. The Vulture 2. The Grave Digger ![]() |
patches689:Let me answer this: This actually was one of the few purchases that the GEJ administration got right. The Nigerian Army actually requested the RM-70 specifically. This wasn't a dodgy purchases they wanted something that wasn't so " long range" but could still saturate an area, it has proved highly effective especially in the Sambisa Forest + plus they are very mobile and easy to train personnel on. Please also bear in mind the NA has these in their arsenal of ARTILLERY D-30 ( Used to retake GWOZA) HALIBUT FH77 PALMARA ETC These are all good arty systems but the RM 70 does not need an extensive time for set up ( mobility is not an issue) can quickly saturate an area and move on to another grid location. |
Xbee007:The @$#!& gole is still quoting the Leahy Act. Like the left wing obama licking mofo that he is. The Leahy act can be waived by the President. Frum stop hiding your left wing racizt ideas on this blog. You are not patting the native and saying jolly good old chap. South Africa paid a grip and a half. for their Birds you did not write an essay and a half, so why now. Like I said who died and made you an Authority. Pratt and Witney is an American Company with a subsidiary in Canada.slowpoke!!. And you didn't answer does a PGGM procurement made in Russia not tear a Boko Haram to pieces. Or because America has now decided to sell us weapons in the open we are now dancing for joy For your Freaking brain and leahy act Nigeria has M16 and some 50 cal . All our parts for the C130s come from rhe atates. |
You need to stop posting stuff abd exposing your ignorance Please who died and made you an authority on all things Nigerian. This your condescending attitude about Nigeria should stop. You see an article on a web page and Bam it is a gospel piece of work. Since President GEJ and Obama left office a lot of stuff goes on between Nigeria and the US. Infact prior to President Obama leaving office they were providing stuff that can only be described as weapons. I have watched you anytime Nigeria is mentioned with regards to procurement of anything the denigrating and self serving delusional attitude of gours continues unabated. Get a freaking life !!!I If the U.S. sells weapons and cash to Nigeria will the Sun rise or not set Does a bullet or an ATGM procured in Russia not destroy a BH terrorists cell.. Please comment on your Country and leave Nigeria the@$+#&@$ alone. For your knowledge the US has given Cold hard Cash and weapons to Nigeria and will do so in the future now go hug a @$!#%/\ transformer. |
jakeporeshenko:Good. |
jakeporeshenko:Conveying British troops or bringing weapons? |
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/256735-u-s-moves-block-nigerian-personnel-monitoring-aircraft-production.html Trending: This is what i obtained from PREMIUM TIMES. It does appear the deal will be signed It does appear the U.S. will follow the SAME TEMPLATE it used before it delievered the F-16 to IRAQ The def. Minister will meet with the US Ambassador to iron out the conditions of the deal. Even if the Check is handed over Feb18, 2018. Very unlikely the first plane will touch down in Abuja on or before Feb 18, 2019 |
tdayof:FUNNY Countdown to 2020 |
frumentius:God are you this naive. Please shake yourself awake. All the South American countries you mentioned allow U.S military personnel and U.S. Bases there. The Countries were allowed to nuy from Brazil because the U.S signed off on it. |
nemesis4u:Thank you Nemesis. I wish Algerian were here I said this last year. I know my Nigerian brothers were impatient but this is taking the biscuit. In 2015 Nigeria renegotiated the Helicopter deal with Russia for all weather, more ammo, more rockets. The result? The first Helicopters did not arrive till 2017. Nemesis please tell my brothers what India went through with the SU27. Please tell them what was the eventual outcome.. Memo to Naija. Whether you buy Brand New Planes from Russia or America , The first two will not arrive till 2020. Henry for a crop duster you don't need to buy PGMs nor a simulator. Lastly even for $1B Russia will not go into a joint venture with ANY Country. to develop any plane. If they wouldn't do it with Algeria why would they do it with Nigeria. At best they will give you a license to manufacture APCs , Tanks and Small arms. |
Xbee007:Please tell them small time when I tell them Nahim yapis go start.Dee Plane esh made in Brazil.. I beg make una dey look Engine naw Nah Pratt and Witney make una look OEM How Monkey go work wey dog go chop naw? Frum just because you wore the uniform temper it down when it come to procurement. Nigeria went the "Cheapskates" route fighting BH and the Former President selection was based on a CDS whose only qualification was he could save money. Nigeria does not need to save money They need to buy the most appropriate equipment at the right time..brand new G2-G2 We learnt painful lessons from buying second hand equipment that killed Soldiers and Pilots alike.(One is still missing in action) . For procurement buy quality equipment , Nigeria will have to wait. It is what Egypt , Algeria and even Angola does |
tdayof:Did I not tell you guys that the first set of planes will not arrive until 2 years time? Allow me to gloat ![]() Russia is no different if you are buying brand new. They will tell you join the queue.Ask Algeria. |
frumentius:The NAF pilots are no longer under those type of restrictions. They are under orders to fire away. Nigeria needs the A29. They need the training, the infrastructure and the accompanying logistics that go with it. Looking for a cheaper option has been tried and has failed . Nigeria needs to go for sterner stuff to end this war. Nigeria also needs the most up to date version of the JF-17 currently the Block2 |
