It's not like there's any objective interpretation of the book, basically non exists. What you get is half or say pseudo-objectivity at best. The interpretations are basically just a symptom of the major problem which is the Kafkaesque nature of the book itself. A book where a decent portion of it is contradictory to the messages its trying to pass across, historically, socio culturally and politically inaccurate for the most part. A book selectively compiled of different books over a thousand year period written by god knows how many writers of which there's a lot of pseudopigraphy involved, some books written by more than an author and passed as a singular author. Original manuscripts lost and what u have are basically copies of copies of copies of copies with parts missing in some and non existent parts in the rest inserted into others. Lots of missing historical, socio cultural, ethnic and political context and dynamics of the times. Nor the thought process of the writer or the genre in which written taken into context. Godspeed applying any objectivity to such a book.

Cause at that point in time the isrealites had just moved from polytheism to henotheism and were well on their way to establishing monotheism. So the writers had to embellish and paint this narrative of a superior Yahweh(who was initially a warrior god). That's why you see Yahweh competing with all this other gods. But by the time monotheism was established there wasn't need for embellishment or competitive narratives, all of it stopped. Caveat here been there's a lot of historical, political and social cultural context cut out from this.

Cause its a literary work of fiction from when humans just about got into creative fictional writing. You'd find similar works of epic by the Akkadians and Sumerians. No one reads the Epic of Gilgamesh and thinks that actually happened, but Jewish stories on the other hand get taken as fact for various semantic reaons. That's why when you apply logic to the story, it doesn't hold up. You don't even need to apply a lot of decent logic to spot the plot holes.

You'd spot the contradictions in the story and the parallel creation stories that show it wasn't even all written by one single writer. So don't bother trying to make a whole lot of sense from it cause even the christains who claim to operate under "divine inspiration" all have their various deductions and interpretations hence you see no 2 Christians can agree on a singular interpretation of the biblle from cover to cover.

Let's liken dream to virtual reality, everything you're aware of is dream stuff. And let's liken sleep paralysis to augmented reality, some of the things one is aware of is from the real world gotten through your senses and at the same time their can be an overlay of dream stuff on your perception just like augmented reality.
I had sleep paralysis one time, I can see the room and things in it but their are lots of spiders on the wall. Now, the room is real, the wall is real but the spiders are dream stuff.

In this state, it's like you have one leg in reality and one in dream that's why I said one is partially dreaming and awake.

And when I say one is partially awake I don't mean one feels groggy or sleepy(infact one can be fully aware as real life), but that what one is aware of can be partially real or fake (dream).

I kind of get ur pov especially with the analogy and it does sell it but for some reason i still feel some nuanced context's missing, still ur pov seems better. What do you think of astral projection, any experience on that front??

You're right, sometimes the body lift the paralysis too early while the mind is still dreaming and sometimes the body lift the paralysis too late after the mind is "awake"

Infact to be factual, you're not really fully awake during sleep paralysis but you're aware of the body's paralysis while still partially dreaming

The reason why must people think sleep paralysis is the work of demons or finds it scary is because when the mind becomes aware of the paralysis, the common reaction is fear, but remember that during this state the mind is partially awake and partially dreaming at the same time.
So the fear reaction is incorporated into the dream plot and one can actually hallucinate seeing a demon or stranger in the room.

I am a lucid dreamer and the fascinating thing about sleep paralysis is that it is easy to convert it to lucid dream, how?

Next time you experience sleep paralysis, just forget about the body and room you're in and imagine yourself somewhere else, your awareness will gradually shift into the imagined scene.

About the bolded, i don't think you can say that as a fact, its a little bit more nuanced than that. I believe experiences defer and while what you say applies to most there's still some anecdotal evidence to the contrary. Example a little anecdote from myself, my first overwhelming sleep paralysis experience, i was clearly awake even though in that groggy state and was struggling to get up but couldn't. Was shouting and no one heard me. It looked like a dream state but why i got to know it ws not was cause everyone in the room was exactly where they were in real life like in the "dream like state" when i was struggling and shouting to get their attention.

The caveat here been that they told me "you were just lying there nau", you didnt even flinch, mind you not like they were paying close attention to me, cause they were gisting. Maybe i was experiencing some sort of psuedo astral projection as well but i really doubt that as i don't even believe in astral projection in its literal form. So you see its a little bit more nuanced than partially dreamy partially awake. Your lucid dream thought process is quite spot on though. That's what ive been doing anytime i get sleep paralysis although it rarely happens to me. Also sometimes when im lucid dreaming, i wake up and then go back to sleep to continue from where i stopped exactly especially when i liked the dream. Doesn't happen often though.

When we dream during rem sleep our body is paralysed to prevent us from acting out the dream using the physical body. The normal route is for the paralysis to be lifted before your mind (consciousness ) wakes up.

Sleep paralysis occurs when your mind (consciousness) wakes up before the paralysis as been lifted, this make you aware of the paralysis.

And this phenomenon can be induced using techniques.

The interesting part about this is just as the body fails to wake up from the paralyzed state leading to sleep paralysis, the body also sometimes fails to be paralyzed during sleep leading to the acting out of dreams like you said hence you have sleep walkers, talkers and others like me who sometimes act out their dreams with subtle and sometimes violent movement and in the process injuring themselves. It's a 2 way street really but people focus on one more than the other cause its more scary i guess. People simply fear what they don't understand.

It's plain old fact that the bible is littered with literal, historical, philosophical and logical contradictions.

Even though subtle but with the context of my whole comment its obvious i was being quite literal and referring to the whole bible as apocryphal which are well known but unfounded stories and wasn't referring to any specific or collective non canonical texts. If you read the biblical apocrypha you'ld find out they are two sides of the same coin especially the old testament. Narcissistic, vengeful, full of anger, hypocritical, are words that decribes the actions of both in the torah, so basically both sides of the same coin(isaiah 45 v 7). Although one is seemingly more powerful but for some reason can't end the less powerful one. Like a fox going to kill and steal a farmer's chicks from their pen but instead of the famer outrightly killing the fox, he brings it to live in the pen with the chicks and then gets angry at the chicks for getting eaten, knowing they are weaker by design. Make it make sense. A tiny drop of logic and it all crumbles like a drop of water to tissue paper.
