While you have a point of people using false context of data to drive a certain narrative, in this case it's not so, she's actually right. Just as joysticks have different sizes, so do vaginas. Genetics, age and childbirth affect the size never joysticks, also like men when aroused its shape changes like blowing a baloon sort of. The attached image was a project where an internal cast of the vaginas of a couple of women where done to corroborate this. You can see the different shapes and sizes. You have arabs as muslims, asians with buddhism, taoism..., Israelis have judaism, europeans with christianity, africans and their various religions, Indians with hinduism, shiekism etc. If you check all these out, the indigenious people are centre peice to the narrative of that particular religion hence the phrase God of Isreal.

They are not taking into context that there are different types of bamboo and steel with different grades ergo different strengths. The lowest grade bamboo has lower tensile strenght than the lowest grade steel and the highest grade steel far surpasses the highest grade bamboo, even in compression as well. So obviously some bamboo would be better than some steel cause there's overlap but if you consider them singular and take the mean, then its obvioulsy steel. They could be as strong but not stronger. Smh.

Its not iron its steel. Rebar steel, steel is an alloy of iron i.e iron + carbon and other elements. They're different.

I hate it when people start giving insights into things they know nothing about. FYI, bamboo have a higher tensile strength than iron rods and it is actually a very good replacement for it. It's very unconventional, agreed, but using bamboo does not affect the integrity of the structure, it actually is a very good alternative. That's coming from a material science engineer, that also took time to do the research before he made this comment.

Besides you're all mentioning tensile strength as if that's the only quality that matters, what about compressive strenght and bond properties to the concrete mix? Those bamboos are smooth not rough like steel rebar, then not even talking about the size requirement of the reinforcement. This whole thing might actually work but its still experimental and shouldn't have been used yet cause i seriously doubt we've carried out enough testing to use this commercially.

Hopefully this doesn't bear similarities to the ocean gate sub where innovation was pushed too far too soon, without rigorous testing and concerns for result of those tests, with costs being the primary motivator.

If you still have hopes and dreams for this country, you're the most optimistic person ever and that kind of optimism would drown you. Apt analysis though, data is really art. In working societies, they have way better values and systems that are ingrained so it feeds in a positive loop of energy . Positive traits are amplified, negatives minimized not like its not there. So there's balance, it even tilts more positive even though there are still serious issues, humanity is f***ed. Humans are basically similar everywhere but our levels in africa are so off. Like we are the beta test or runt of the litter.

The only way is to create better values and value systems to imbibe in our yet unborn generations so they'll help us evolve faster cause nothing u do in this lifetime would work cause the rot is too deep. Maybe in like 1000 yrs from now we would have evolved to have sense collectively or maybe 500. Afterall 500 yrs ago, most of these advanced societies where not as advanced as societies as they are now. Hell, we didnt even know boiling water could purify it. I think that the reason why it's like this is because people don't study the bible. When you study the bible, everything becomes clear and nobody can deceive you. Preachers and Pastors are not encouraging their congregation to study the bible properly. Every time in church the preachers would say open to the book of That verse This to This, usually short texts and they read that particular text and the preacher starts to preach from that verse.... Many times what the preacher is preaching is not what that verse is talking about, but because nobody bothers to read the preceding verses and the following verses and sometimes the whole chapter to understand the full scope of what the verses are talking about, they get easily misled and confused and lost.

Exactly, "Context". Most people always miss that. How can u open a novel then jump to the 7th chapter, read a line and deduce meaning about the book just from that line. You need the whole context to form an opinion or have an understanding. That's why you see most mislead by the media, they read just the headline of a story or article without reading the article itself and then they'll come to a conclusion. You watch a 1 min clip out of a 10 min video and come to a conclusion. Your conclusion would be wrong, same thing applies to the bible like u said. You dont just read a verse, u need to understand the context of the verse as it pertains to that chapter and the chapter to the book as well to paint the whole picture, sometimes even referencing other books and chapters. And most people dont like reading so that's why they rely on others and are unfortunately gullible.

That's why we're having all these different interpretation of something so simple and straight forward. During the pentecost in Act 2:1-13 the apostles who spoke in tongues had people who were present who could understand what they were saying. And speaking in tongues is a miraculous phenomenon, not something someone just mounts pulpit and start yabbing God knows what. And it is supposed to be an earthly languages for the people of earth to understand. All the times that the Angels spoke to people in the bible, the Angels spoke in language that the receiver would understand ( native language).

I moved to a new area(Student area) and decided to attend a nearby church.

These are what I noticed.

-- I was the only one that used scarf.Even the choristers and the female ministers didn't use scarf.

--Almost all the female members are putting on trousers,ladies that put on gowns/skirt are not up to 20%.
I was even surprised that the two female ministers and the female choristers also put on trouser to climb the church alter.

--During prayer intersection,I noticed everybody were praying in tongues and it seems am the only person not filled with the holy spirit to speak in tongues.
Even when we were asked to pray on our offering,people still prayed in tongues.

And it just seems I'm odd among them or is it that am not modernized?

When i see people speaking gibberish sorry tongues, i just smh. Most of these so called Christians don't even know thier bible. Even the ones that claim to know hv different interpretations for the same thing while hearing from the same God, hence u have 10,000 + denominations practicing different things. Ironically some don't even see eye to eye. Is it not the same God.

Notice how everyone that speaks in tongues, never speaks human tongues that are understood, they all speak angelic tongues that no one can understand. Also one of the signs of the spirit is to interpret tongues. Notice how u hardly hear about the gift of interpretation of tongues in the church., which is one of the signs of the spirit. According to the bible, not everyone must speak in tongues , there are other gifts that show signs of the spirit. Why are they all focusing on speaking angelic tongues. Why don't they speak in tongues to one another with one to interpret like in the bible, why only to God.

The answer is quite simple really. It's an easy cop out with no need for proof or validation. I can come out and read the alphabet backwards and say im speaking in tongues. Bunch of jokers the lot of them. Where are those gifted with interpreting of the so called tongues? Where are those that speak in human tongues or languages they've never heard? None... Don't u think it'll be interesting to see people speaking in tongues and one's speaking gaelic and the other aramaic while someone gifted is interpreting. Trust me uld never see that.

First of that's a you problem. Secondly humans are not a monolith that are all boxed with the same characteristics under a single label. Finally stop confusing ur poor social skills, anti-social behaviour, anxiety and probably lethargy as intoversion, its not introversion.

It's obvious u'r an atheist hence the combative and defensive nature of ur response. I said a lot but because of your defensive stance u ignored all context, zeroed in selectively with tunnel vision on what u didn't like, went on a tangent and basically missed all nuance. Respect for being civil though. So I'll try to explain better so u get my thought process again while addressing ur concerns.

First of, the quantifier I used in describing atheists is "Many" and not "All".
And how and why did I reach that conclusion u ask?! Well, if u pick any arbitrary sample set of any category of anything (or most things to be safe), ud have more negative traits than positive traits. So for example if u pick school children, you have more non-intelligent children than intelligent children, if u pick a sample from the population, u have more non-beautiful people than beautiful people, if u pick open minded people, uld find more unreasonable ones than reasonable ones. Same applies to atheists, that combined with anecdotal evidence from dealing with em.

Now for the rest of your concerns, I wanted to address them individually but saw it was pointless cause I already adresssed them in my previous comment. So its either u didn't read it(hence the earlier tunnel vision comment) or u read it with some serious bias. Either way read it again with an open mind..

I like to read these instead as a set of rules that ought to be compiled together, not read or taken separately. You can sort of see this in the fact that the rules given in Genesis 6 vs 19 are repeated in the context of Genesis 7 vs 1 - 3, even as more details/rules are also specified.

■ Take two of every living thing on the earth with you into the boat - Genesis 6 vs 19a & Genesis 7 vs 2b
■ Take a male and female of every kind of animal so that they might survive with you. - Genesis 6 vs 19b & Genesis 7 vs 2b
■ Get seven pairs (seven males and seven females) of every kind of clean animal. - Genesis 7 vs 2a
■ Get seven pairs (seven males and seven females) of all the birds - Genesis 7 vs 3

So from ur comments i can see ur arguments are based on good faith and u understand the context in the production of the bible and accept that context is valid. I appreciate that. Now u try to explain some of these contradictions away and for some of em you come from the angle of understanding and accepting the context of the production of the bible which most christains push aside. They believe like i already said its divine inspiration and devoid of errors and dismiss any context whatsoever. That's the angle im expecting a from. The super religious christain response, if im making sense. Traditional christain beliefs or school of thought.
