Tinubu and his cronies picked ambode from no where. Ambode is a beneficiary of imposition. To be honest, we should all be fighting the imposition mentality. Amazing how ambode who benefited from imposition is now crying foul . The system that brought out the likes of Ambode and sanwaolu via imposition is what we should fight . If it was based solely on merits , ambode shouldn't have been the candidate for 2015. There's a reason he was fired by fashola as accountant general yet tinubu imposed him.

Also in the area of healthcare, a lot of attention was paid to the Primary Healthcare System in terms of renovation and equipping of a lot of Primary Health Centres in Lagos. In addition to these, employment of staff to man these renovated Phcs has commenced.
In conclusion, we should not forget that the same excuse that made a lot of states to go bankrupt with the attendant inability to pay salaries, also affected Lagos. It would be most unfair to start comparing Fashola and Ambode's administration because they both did not have the same resources.

Noted . Any ideas what he has done in education. The IGR of Lagos is higher than ever and the wage bill is about 5 billion naira Monthly. Here's my point. Budget of 2016 was 600 billion naira. Budget of 2017 was 880 billion. Budget of this year alone is over 1 trillion naira. I don't know the implementation level of the budget but even if you adjust for inflation and all, ambode should do much more . If fashola had this kind of resources for the past three years, you will see the impact in almost every sector.

Look at the budget since 2015 and compare with what we see around Lagos, it doesn't add up at all. We can however always agree to disagree

I am not a Buhari fanboy. In fact I am coming hard for Buhari and his government but let's deal with Lagos first. Ambode has had over a trillion naira in the past three years. What has he done in housing, education and health care. It's a simple question. Fasholas first term was better than tinubus. Is Ambodes first term better than fasholas ?

2. How much did the ojodu Berger road construction cost. What's the cost of each of the bustops. Why is it that ambode never releases the cost of almost all the public projects in Lagos . I am not talking about PPP but projects fully paid for by Lagos money

3. Can we investigate how many directors and permanent secretaries have been sacked by ambode simply because they were perceived to be fasholas people

4. Can Ambode supporters mention his achievements in education, health care and housing

5. What's the business case for Changing a lawma model that was functional. Why change a winning formula.

Just yesterday, my car entered one deep pothole close to grammar school bustop and damaged my bumper.That pothole has been getting wider for months and nothing has been done. The moment you agree that fashola was better than tinubu then you will know ambode is worse than fashola.

What's so hard for ambode to say this Berger road project costs so so billions. What is he hiding. I don't care much about the politics but as someone who has lived in Lagos for over 30 years, and with the resources at Ambodes disposal, I have to say he has failed. If you know what fashola did in areas like ikorodu and what fashola did in education, environment,health care and housing,then you will know ambode is a scan. I can never forget the day fashola showed up unannounced to general Hospital ikorodu, that visit changed things then. If you know you know, but with the resources in Ambodes disposal, he should have been five times better than fashola instead he is five times worse.

One iconic thing ambode did that I will forever remember him for is the establishment of the LRU.They are super effective.

Osun State case is dfferent. Aregbesola shouls have given Ademola Adeleke the ticket of his Late brother Isiaka Adeleke and Adeleke would have remained in APD. Aregbesola also called the bluff of Adeoti who also left APC for ADP. The split to ADP and PDP from APC affected things. Thats not happening in Lagos yet.

All in ALl, Ambode is a chronic failure. Hes not a thinker at all. People will collect money and still vote sanwa olu or hamzat. AMbode has lost touch

I wish Ambode well but he settled Tinubu accordingly but didnt settle Tinubus foot soldiers and the politicans that brought him to power while he ambode was eating money by hyper inflating contracts and refusing to reveal the cost of most of the projects he has executed. Fashola settled the foot soldiers so well such that he was able to build his own group known as the Justice group to stand up to the mandate group of Tinubu. Ambode has only praise singers. Ambode really stepped on toes. Fashola now has the cause to laugh them. For Fashola to have sacked Ambode during his term that's means He wasn't the right man for the job. He messed up Lagos big time. How can you be building terminals for four years with no tangible project at sight.

Well he tried with ojodu berger road,abule egba, the laybys in oworo and alapere and some other cosmetic stuff around Lagos. He is also doing the Oshodi and airport raods. However, no one knows the costs of these projects which i believe will be astronomical. Secondly, the vision scape stuff is just a fiasco and finally he messed up with civil servants. Ambode has not done anything excellently as you proclaim. Ambode may be the best among the 36 Governors but i score him 40 percent which makes him the best but definitely not excellent as you say. If you know how much Lagos generates and how small the land area of Lagos is then you will know ambode and the past lagos governors are trolling. Niger State is 20 times bigger than Lagos. Compared to how much money Lagos has and the small Land area of Lagos, Ambode hasnt done anything.AT least under fashola we knew how much projects cost. Finally, The Public works that was so active under fashola and repairing potholes and fixing bad roads are now eedundant. The last time i saw them was when they were repairing shrine road for macron.

The person is trying to tell you that your information is stored on a secured server. Meaning it is slightly harder for hackers to steal that information from their servers. It doesn't mean they can't though. What he failed to tell you, and where he is wrong is with the http issue. Even though their server is secure, if you use an http connection to send information to their server, the information that YOU send over that http connection to their server is not encrypted. What this means is that if you have a computer that has been compromised either with trojans, viruses etc and you decided to enter your username and password on the http connection, that information can be intercepted while you are sending it over. IF it is https, it is encrypted and makes it harder to steal. So https is still very important although it doesn't guarantee anything.

If a keylogger is installed on your computer, http or https, everything you typed on the site can be stolen.
With regards to those saying Nairaland is now secure, this is incorrect. It is YOUR CONNECTION to Nairaland that is secure so that when you enter usernames and passwords, it is encrypted. quick question to those in the know. The HR online application of our office that hosts our pay slip and other sensitive information is http not https However, the contractor who developed the applicationsaid it doesnt matter since the software is hosted online on the servers of Galaxy Backbone which is a Nigerian government company and as such its secure from hackers and all that because the Galaxy company has a whole lot of security on the backend.

My question is in this context is he right that https doesnt matter as long as you have security on the backend ? A lot of sensitive information are on this application from peoples certificates to payslips and the company that developed the software insists https doesnt matter and http is fine.You require a login to access the application though.

Light is just fair to be honest. Most nights there is light but during the day most times no light. And during the day on weekends too no light but i am not adversely affected because i am not at home most times during the day on weekdays and weekends due to work,social and church commitments . So it works for me. i often spend 3k per week on fuel for generator which is not too bad.

For me constant or almost constant electricity is the highest priority, followed by Security. Money isn't the issue.

I have only stayed in awuse before thats why i can be detailed like that. I can only vouch for awuse in terms of electricity and security. Ikeja GRA is also well secured but is not gated per say as awuse estate. Ikeja GRA is good but for me i recommend awuse cos it meets your conditions of electricty and security. I moved in to my own house in an estate in ojodu berger which is why i am no longer in awuse estate . man cannot continue to pay rent forever

Awuse two bedroom flat is around 2 million or 2.5 million naira. The security is tight and the roads a re well tarred. a lot of expartraites also live there especially indians. Chris Okotie also has a big house there close to the omodara axis in the estate. At night i thinl they use OPC for protection and last i checked the electricity in the estate was pretty good. The location is also excellent if u work in ikeja but not so sure if its good enough if u work on the island. If you have children its not far from chrisland which is quite pricey but there are other schools in the neighbourhood. All in All, it has a very nice ambience which i can say is second to only ikeja GRA in the whole ikeja axis.

The negative part is that social life in the state is dead at night and during the day.I only know one hotel jeromes garden and suites in the estate. i dont know if there are more. there are no bars or lounges or hot spots in awuse estate compared to Ikeja GRA where you have all the best eateries and lounges and hotspots. However outside the awuse estate you can find all that along the opebi to allen stretch all the way to the ikeja mall

If you can afford it, i highly highly recommend the place in terms of security,electricity and ambiance.

All this overheating talk is secondary. The very moment they sold and advertised a 2008 car as 2011, they had committed fraud. every other thing after that is secondary. Thats why i always run a VIN check to at least get an idea about the year of the car and history such as the mileage before it was shipped to nigeria before any other thing. the way people upgrade cars is funny and the buyer was naive. If it was me i will spend more money to tarnish their image for selling a 2008 car as 2011 but really a simple VIN check will have solved this problem
