Those of you who did FRSC physical screening at 82 division Enugu will agree with me that applying for federal government jobs without knowing anyone at the helm of affairs is a WASTE OF RESOURCES, WASTE OF ENERGY AND WASTE OF TIME.

In the entire country, 4600 people will be employed and the possition I applied for is officer cadre and from a reliable source, only 400 people will be taken for that position.

Now let's do a little mathematics.
In my screening center alone, we were over 4000 BSc holders that applied for officer cadre.

Remember 400 is needed in the entire country for the position of officer cadre.
400/37 is approximately 11

It means that only 11 people out of over 4000 applicants will be chosen from Enugu state.

Out of the 11 people, how many politicians have slots? But let assume its strictly based on merit.
11/4000 x 100 = 0.275%
Which means anyone that applied stands a 0.275% chance of getting the job and 99.725% chance of not getting the job.

My question is now, why wasting money buying white shoes, white shorts and polo and spending on transport and food when you know your chances of getting the job is just 0.275%?

I will never ever ever apply for anything federal government job again unless I have a strong connection I rather channel that energy, time and Resources in something productive.
I also implore jobless graduates to start something that brings money, atleast from there you grow higher and higher while waiting for your dream job because indeed these people (politicians) don't mean well for the youths in this country

Most in their very youthful age, we celebrate thuggery, cheating, blackmail, and most importantly the very open, broad daylight robbery of the poor people whose voters'cards have been preached many times by even the leaders that govern as the determinants of who governs them.
When some people here come up to say it's tit for tat by APC cum PDP political stalwarts, the question I ask is, "How does that affect the ordinary man, who believes in the power he has today (his voters card).
This is very sad and shouldn't for any reason be celebrated by any well meaning Nigeria especially as Nairalanders.
We may not be in politics today, the election may not be directly connected to us and our future today.
We may have a hate for the Contestant whose interest is being battered by some criminal elements in the polity.
One thing is certain.
You can never rob God.....

so, it is very sad to see youths take this experience as some common practices.
After all youths in other countries are already taking over leadership from the old bones.
Why should we not emulate it.
I know lot of you don't even have a voters card.
But if we must change our generation, then we must all be quickened towards partisan involvement in our political world.

But note this.

To all PDP sympathizers - the truth of the matter is that PDP did worse when they were in power and I am sure would have done same if not worse this time as well if they are still in power. Nigerians forget things easily!!! Didn't Obasanjo say that, "even if Jesus comes from heaven he can run a free and fair election." Am I justifying what APC has done here? Hell NO!!! But the truth must be said.

Now to be sincere Obasanjo was not trying ridicule Jesus or sort of but he was trying to tell us how difficult it will be to have a free and fair election as that time. Again for those who understand our politics Nigeria is not riped yet for a free and fair election. That is the bitter truth!!! Election is not only rigged when the votes are being manipulated as most people believe. Any unfair advantage given to one candidate/party just to win the election, then the election can be said to be rigged in favor of such candidate/party. Be victimization of the opponent, harassment of the opponent, scaring voters in the strong hold of the opponent, blackmailing etc. Jonathan rigged the election for Fayose remember?

Now people will say Jonathan conducted a free and fair election in 2015. But that is a big lie! Remember Tinubu's house was besieged and all sort of harassment either through the media or elsewhere. Jonathan was not smart enough to perfect his rigging not that he never wanted to rig. He rigged the election too but because he lost people never talk about it. He was surrounded with extremely selfish people who do not care about his victory but their pockets. Or how do you explain the sharing of 2.1 billions dollars if not for rigging?

I am not for any of those useless parties. But the best rigger will always win and that is the simple truth!!! Is buying of votes legal? Didn't both APC and PDP buy votes? So why is that it is only PDP that is crying?

I don't see the difference between both candidates, in fact the PDP guy will be worse if i have to be honest.
