Going to be really tight, but Brazil will edge Croatia. Something like a 2-1 or 1-0 scoreline. The Brazil 'A' squad is very very strong. Before someone quotes me about Cameroon, it was 'B' Squad that lost to Cameroon. |
LordviccoDaGuru:Bro, you are smart and well connected even though, you are pro-North. Please check the Senate President's Twitter account. He never referred to Kashim Shettima as the preidential candidate. What is being curculated, is a photoshopped fake by the usual suspects. |
Fake news!!!!!!!! |
Very very sad. If you check deeply, he probably will among those who continually criticises government for correction. Hypocrisy, is I can see here. |
Good news. I hope "dem dem" will be happy with this. |
Asiwaju Tinubu, using Obidient to catch cruise as always. Man is always making himself the centre of attention and making them to trend him. I bet that even within that space, many of them couldn't focus on Obi the liar, but were rather confused and astonished at the mendacity and audacity of baba to enter their space. He is their Jagaban today, and will continue to be their Jagaban tomorrow. Akanbi himself. Mr. President in waiting.

Flexicube:Thank you, now go and suck on your feeding bottle. |
ZombieSlayer1:Liar, Liar! Keep wailing, and keep crying.
|
Penguin2:Governorship Election is not same as Presidential Elections and vice versa. Know this and know peace. Finally, nobody is saying that APC will WIN South South and South East zones for Presidential elections. What we are saying is that 25% will be a sure banker and even more than that (up to 40%) in certain states |
ZombieSlayer1:Liar, Liar, pants on fire!!! I watched the event live and nobody walked out on Tinubu. There was a bit of rowdiness and people were jostling to meet and greet Tinubu after he gave his masterful speech, which caused a bit of issue when Shettima was about to speak. The State Governor climbed the stage beside Shettima and called for people to maintain decorum and the APC Deputy Nat. Chairman was beside Shettima throughout when he gave the vote of thanks with the good people of Imo State clapping afterwards. Look for another lie to blow, because Owerri was a mega success!!!! |
Creamypie:My advice to you is not to suffer depression when the results start rolling in. |
donaldking100:This is a very lazy argument. If we want to compare performance using this method, then how much was the exchange rate in 1999 when PDP took over versus when they left in 2015? On the issue of ASUU strike, while it is regrettable, it is not a new thing from the military years to the PDP years. Afterall under Obi, the ASUU in Anambra went on strike for about 6 months or so, even Doctors went on strike. Finally, a point which you must note. This election is not a referendum on APC. But rather, it is an election between 3 choices; Tinubu, Atiku and Obi. Majority of Nigerians see Tinubu as the best option. So you can wail all you like by calling people who intend to vote for Tinubu agents of the devil, but that is in your pocket. Asiwaju Tinubu will win, and you can either choose to contribute to the success of his presidency by being a law abiding citizen or you can choose to japa. Either option is acceptable. P.S......and if you want to compare on party performance, then APC also has objective achievements on the ground to show, which is way better than the 16 years of PDP and the 0 years of Labour Party. |
KingLennon:In your dreams. With the ways things are going, he won't even win one state. |
Creamypie:The way some of you comment on politics is quite baffling. You tend to equate sentiments propagated by a few on Social Media as representing the directions that majority will take. Just be patient, February 25th 2023 will soon come and you will see the number of votes that Tinubu of the APC will garner in both the South South and South East Geopolitical zones. You will be in for a shocker. |
Acidosis:OBJ used his influence to 'defeat' Mimiko at the polls. It was the same Tinubu that Mimiko ran to, who helped him to get his mandate through the courts. Mimiko has been generally ungrateful and that is why his influence in Ondo politics is now zero. |
ganisucks:If she or her husband didn't go, you will complain. Now that she is going, you are still complaining. Nawa for you o. |
sirlop:You are a liar. Onne Port is functioning also, and receiving cargoes. Moreso, nobody stopped any of your Governors in the East from developing inland ports to receive cargoes via Onne. |
ganisucks:Her husband, the candidate, has already been to Jigawa State in October. You might need to update yourself, so as not to appear ignorant. |
Nice one ma'am, incoming First Lady. All those people above questioning the donation, sorry is your case o. |
Like Pa Adebanjo, like Pa Akintoye. What is it with this old papas and their perceived hatred for Tinubu? May God deliver us from crab mentality o. |
anytexy:Tested with what? - How well did he grow the IGR of his state to enable economical development of Anambra, to make us have confidence that he will apply same to Nigeria? Trusted by who? Same person who invested Anambra state money in his family business and stashed money in offshore accounts under the name of his daughter? Charisma that makes him talk like an pubescent girl or the one that made him call Nassarawa a country? Your guy is not fit for President. No offence. |
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu An astute manager of men and resources A man with a exemplary and verifiable track record A true nationalist who has built bridges across the Niger A man that knows the road.

First hold accountable your local Councillor, LG Chairman and Governor in Edo State. Sometimes, this woman just makes one cringe. ![]() |
Wiseandtrue:Please it's Friday, don't be a clown! Fashola is the actualizer, while his boss is the mastermind of the development blueprint. |
obedience4:If you reasoned things out properly, you will realize that there is nothing new coming from the West. All new and modern inventions might have been financed by the printing press of the West, but were actually designed and invented by persons who are NOT of the West. America and most Western countries currently build their economies on the backs of IMMIGRANTS, and those immigrants are solely attracted by one common factor - MONEY |
Adebishow:Get in line. Putin's address is Grand Kremlin Palace, Kremlin, off Red Square, Central Moscow, Russia. Elenu razor. |
jimetagambo:Russia didn't OVERTLY plan to invade Ukraine. If they were interested in invading Ukraine, they will have done so since 2014 and won't have bothered sponsoring the peace initiative of the Minsk I & II accords. The positioning of Russian troops in late December to early January was intended to pressure Ukraine into complying with the Minsk accords and by extension letting the US/NATO know that protection of the Donbass was Russia's priority. However, Ukraine refused to comply and instead intensified shelling of the Donbass. Secondly, the US/UK starting ferrying arms into Ukraine which was interpreted as a sign that they were not willing to listen to Russia's interests. Thirdly, Ukraine's President went to Munich Security Conference in second week of February and openly declared his intention for his country to acquire Nuclear weapons. At this point, Putin made his mind up. Declared Donbass as independent republics on February 22, and started the Military Operation to liberate their territories on February 24th. See, there is a deliberate attempt to suppress the information from the Russian side or any other alternative point of view. This is so that only one point of view, which is the Western point of view is made available to everyone. This conflict is essentially a battle for the freedom from American hegemony and that is why I don't see an immediate end to it. America will fight for as long it takes, and Russia will fight for as long as it takes while slowly destroying Ukraine piece by piece. The true losers here are the Ukrainians. |
OldNairalander:Good to know that. I hope same courtesy will be extended to Senator Kashim Shettima who also paid unscheduled visits to the Bororo Nomadic community and dined with them in Borno State when he was Governor, and yet has been tagged as "dining with Boko Haram" by your fellow "obidients". What is good for the Goose, is good for the Gander. |
fergie001:My earlier comment was addressing the point you raised that he won't do it. As to the issue of LG Autonomy, I don't think that is needed for a state like Lagos with the kind of phased developmental model that it operates (a bit similar to the Chinese development model) which is usually cut across multiple LGs while being planned centrally. Hence, granting LG Autonomy means that the State Government can be held to ransom by respective LGs when there are political differences. As to whether LASG dabbles into LG funds, I can't comment on that since I don't have incontrovertible proof alluding to such practices. I personally have been in quite a number of LG secretariats in Lagos, and I can attest that in terms of funding and the kind of projects those LGs executed, Lagos LGs are one of a kind in Nigeria. |
fergie001:Fergie001, this isn't true. Lagos has one of the best if not the best standard with regards to how LGs are run. Secondly, it is in the interest of Governors to push for an increase in the share of funds coming to them from the Federation. Now, whether they use the money judiciously or not is a story for another day. |
Don't be mischievous. He stood for more than 1 hour to deliver his speech. He only sat down to answer questions. May hatred not kill you. |
