MrALIVE:What consequences? Who told you that Christians won't vote for the APC ticket? A lot of you are just kids who don't remember history. Go and check the history of past elections in Nigeria from 1979 to 1993 and tell me how many were determined by religious considerations. |
Nice one sir. A good number of us are not blind to the competence ticket that Tinubu/Shettima represents. Let the bigots and haters keep hating. |
Nonsense |
Also drop her photos from Chatham House if you have them. She is a real beauty. Young, fresh and vivacious. |
She is a real star! With the level of hard work and dedication she has showed to the campaign, I won't be surprised if she extracts the 35% affirmation for appointments in Tinubu's government. |
I thought after meeting Ganduje in London, this Jaafar guy will have amended his ways. Na so he predict for 2019, wey im prediction "lule" |
FreedomfromtheT:You obviously need to go to back to school and learn what "Projection" is. |
Interesting projection. However, Dr. Tilde is an Associate of Jagaban from times past. Certainly, the Labour Party fellows will choose not to accept this, but rather accept the ANAP projections. While the PDP fellows will rather bank on the THISDay projections that predicts a run-off. My own is that February should come (if not postponed) and let everyone find his level. |
Why are you disgracing your Eastern heritage? Be a man and stop behaving like a plaintain stump. Karlovych: |
Sir Ngige, you are respected as a statesman and are entitled to your opinion of who to support or who not to support. However, to draw your attention to 2 things: 1. Neither you nor Atiku were formative members of the Action Congress. That is a big LIE. 2. Remember when Tinubu came and raised your hands in Idemili when you were contesting for Senate. I'm sure that as your party leader then, he didn't choose to sit on the fence. Right from your comments on Channels TV a couple of months back, it was clear that you weren't onboard with the Tinubu project. Peace be unto you, but don't rewrite history. |
20 Clear Points....with Tinubu winning them all. Haters gonna Hate. |
Watch out for January 5 in Ibadan. That's where their destination will be confirmed. Although, I personally suspect a split. Some will go back to Atiku. |
Faleke representing ![]() Akabueze, I sight you sir. |
ZombieSlayer1:Lolz....are you tired of your own medicine?? Funny that you are asking for evidence of Obi's guilt but don't bother to extend same courtesy to his opponents. Ignoramus like you. |
Insult all the way....or are you afraid?? Bola Ahmed Tinubu was never mentioned in Pandora Papers and a quick trip to the Corporate Affairs Commission will intimate you of the fact that he doesn't own AlphaBeta. Once again, are you unfortunate ?ZombieSlayer1: |
Just as your name implies, you are a reanimated entity with no sense. Did he steal anything from your father? Or did you catch him red handed with drugs? Why don't you go and take Osinbajo to another party so your saintly candidate can contest against him? It is like some of you Obi supporters simply keep your senses in stasis when you come to public forums to talk. Is it not the same Obi whom was accused of being a drug baron and is scared of travelling to Malaysia? Is it not the same Obi whose brother is currently in a Malaysian prison? Is it not the same Obi whose father died under suspicious circumstances as per drug related business? Is it not the same Obi who invested Anambra money in his family business? Is it not the same Obi who was mentioned in the Pandora Papers as a corrupt crook? Or do you think I'm a kid and don't remember the HEADLINES of absolute mismanagement and bad governance that graced Newspapers during Obi's tenure as a governor between 2006 and 2014? You think we don't remember how Nairaland was full of Obi lamentations by you lots, only for you and your ilk to now turn around in this present day to present him as a saint due to ETHNIC reasons aka IGBO Presidency?? Are you unfortunate? Once again, are you unfortunate? Vote your candidate in peace and let others vote theirs in peace too. ZombieSlayer1: |
wirinet:But anyone that supports Obi does so out of altruistic reasons right? To say you have no sense, is an understatement. Get this into your medulla, Nigeria is a democracy and there is freedom of Choice. |
Political season. Funny that he waited until January 1st to write his letter. Perhaps he was complying with transfer window. Fingers crossed for the "credible" candidate he intends to support. Once again, political season. Enjoy. Modified MY RESPONSE TO A STUPID "OBIDIENT" - (ZombieSlayer1) AND OTHERS IN SAME CATEGORY Just as your name implies, you are a reanimated entity with no sense. In my opinion, APC shouldn't have bothered replying OBJ. It only makes his "endorsement" seem somewhat relevant. To the discerning, his support for Obi has been clear from day one. Amongst the frontline candidates, Obi is the only one that can be controlled or dictated to by OBJ. OBJ's aim is to ensure that his influence which was eroded by Buhari can be restored via Obi. All the talk about supporting someone from Eastern extraction is just a charade. Asides this, I also perceive that OBJ has a personal animosity for Tinubu. Something akin to envy since the days of when Tinubu was a Governor. To those saying that Tinubu went to beg OBJ for endorsement, you are spewing rubbish. Tinubu was advised to go see OBJ (being the most prominent Yoruba leader who is an ex-president) and sell his ambition to him, and Tinubu followed that advice. Following the outcome of the meeting, it became clear that OBJ won't support Tinubu, but he also committed that he wouldn't support Atiku either and for the Tinubu camp, that was OK. Election is next month, let's see how OBJ's and by extension the so called "Cabal of ex-Gemerals" endorsement helps Obi. However, I do find it funny when Obi says he want to build a new Nigeria and use the hungry youths as a structure....blah...blah...blah and yet still relies on the same corrupt structure of persons like OBJ to attempt to get into office. Really funny. |
"The 2023 election will be a serious one, it will be like the MKO Abiola election." - Nyesom Wike. Only the wise will understand. |
Agreed. With or without them, APC will still win. Maybe they are thinking about the margin though. But still, having someone like Ortom or Ikpeazu demanding concessions from my candidate turns me off. LegendHero: |
Why don't you all enjoy your online polls and let the real voters decide on election day. Tinubu is not perturbed by all the shenanigans of ANAP or Arise/THISDay. However, I am personally suspicious of the nature of these polls and will like our security agencies to take a very good look at the persons conducting them. Methinks that these polls are designed to forment violence after the elections as they are propagating unimaginable results for Atiku and Obi....especially for Obi, by allowing them to rant about some "stolen victory" and to undermine the electoral victory of APC by claiming rigging. After all, we saw how the PDP's fictitious INEC Server drama played out in 2019. Let's watch and see. |
OnyeAshuaUru:What does Obi have to offer. There is nothing creative from Obi that makes him better than Asiwaju. Not in his present and definitely not in his past. When political juggernauts with verifiable track records are talking, political neophytes cum opportunists like your Obi, should excuse themselves. |
loosecanon50:You are not God. Go and sit down. |
I watched the event from beginning to the end and I was very impressed. Asiwaju, my leader, the Jagaban laid down a foundation, one of patriotism, of dedication, of commitment for the business community to key into to enable us achieve the Nigeria of our dreams. Nigerians, vote for Jagaban. He knows the way, he has done it before and he will do it again. |
All these states that are being marked for PO....a big hmmn. He is NOT going to win any states outside the Southeast. As for giving Rivers and Osun to Atiku, big joke. Kwara is not Too Close to call. It is firmly in the bag for APC. |
God1000:Keep lying to yourself. |
udeh3:That photo doesn't belong to Donald Duke. |
Jagaban....Jagaban!! Titled chief in Lagos Titled chief in Ebonyi Titled chief in Gbaramatu Titled chief in Borgu Titled chief in Birnin Gwari All hail Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By God's grace.
|
I like this response. Asiwaju's team should cap it with a law suit, preferably after the elections to avoid distraction. Arise TV/THISDAY have bought market that pass them. |
A lot of comments here, brings one to the conclusion that most Nairalanders don't bother to read the content, but rather just follow headlines. His comments were addressed to the undecided voters (I personally don't think there are undecided voters at this point) and he wasn't begging. Insulting him won't make a dent on his personality or awaiting victory as the majority of Nigerians know him and his ability to effect positive and graduating change to our present condition. |
Good one. Asiwaju Tinubu is a sellable candidate with outstanding and verifiable track records. No surprise that our football legends are aligning with him. A great person attracts great people. |
My name is Lateef Adegoke, I'm a Yoruba moozlem from Osun state and I fully support Peter Obi and Labor Party. I urge all well meaning Nigerians to support progress under a new Nigeria.
