tolusaliu: I give glory to the Almighty God who gave me the privilege to share this great experience. But surely not all people will believe my testimony, but blessed are you who believe the word. I was right on my bed lying down to take a sleep when i saw myself in the spirit been carried away by chariot of horses with different colours ( white, black )and i was on the chariot moving in the atmosphere, taken away in the sky outside the earth and as i was going i saw outside of the earth, the sun and also the stars, moving in speed with the chariot of horses. And it got to a point when i got to a place where the chariot now stopped which i then stopped and came down a and behold i saw a mighty gate before me which is whiter than snow written on top of it "city of angels"This gate was opened and i saw the street very clean and also whiter than snow and of a sudden i saw angels moving to and fro in speed in white garment as people so busy with what they are doing and immediately i saw an angel stood before me to attend to my presence, and we begin our journey while he began to show me several places in heaven. He showed me father Abraham's house in heaven.......this house is really a mansion which i cannot compare anything with it and he also took me into a mansion that is so beautiful which i saw several things in that house with the living bed too that no one has ever seen before and also a standing mirror with golden design and is glass was so clean and clear like a crystal which made me to move closer and touched the glass and as i touched it with my finger the glass was now soft and moved in as if i touched a cushion and it moved in and also came out back when i removed my finger and i was scared immediately because have never seen anything like that before in my whole life. Beloved, i must confess there is nowhere you can compare heaven with on this planet..............ohhhhhhhh,what a lovely and beautiful place. And the angel that stood beside me now made me realise that i will have to return back to the earth which i refused that i was not going to return but of a sudden he showed me the earth where i saw a whole lot of crowd calling my name to save them, and as i see this mighty crowd i began to have compassion on them.......... immediately i found myself back on my bed on earth. Brethren please i beg you in the name of JESUS CHRIST don't let anything make you to miss heaven.Give your life to JESUS today and he will save you, Say after me, dear JESUS am sorry, pls forgive me for all my sins, i confess to you today that am a sinner pls forgive me.Am born again.Thank you Lord, in JESUS NAME, Amen. When we all going to be praising and singing for all eternity non-stop when would we have time to enjoy mansions and glass cushion |

True but christianity in Africa would most likely not change due to the fact that African Christians and muslims are puppets, even if the meccan authorities say Mohamed was a fraud they would not believe because the Quran didn't say so, same for Christians who want to be more Christian than the pope who brought christianity to them |

FrancisTony: 1) We are talking about biblical figures not fictional characters.
2) She carried our Lord saviour Jesus christ in her womb. Even Elizabeth testified, She ain't worthy to receive the mother of our Lord.- Luke 1:43
3) Who else watched her son die? Her one and only son.
By the way, I didn't say she is the only one. Biblical characters are fictional characters, anybody who doesn't have proof of ever living besides tales are classified fictional to a very large extent Not any more real than American TV characters Btw jst as u hold Mary dear for being mother of Jesus ur god, so do buddhist hold Maya dear for being the Virgin mother of Buddha, Bacchusians(cult of dionysus/Bacchus) hold Semele dear for the same reason. Even Romans before reinventing Christianity worshiped Semele and Isis for being Virgin mothers |
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is Your Favorite Bible Character And Why? by macof(m): 5:21pm On Oct 27, 2014 |
FrancisTony: My favourite character is Mary.
Mother so pure, chaste etc.
No woman can endure her sufferings.
-First and only woman to conceive without having sex.
-Carrying a baby in her womb for nine month.
- Her son was killed on the cross of calvary and handed over to her.
-Crying as her son was being wounded and humiliated.
-Not doubting Angel Gabriel during visitation and being a Virgin till the rest of her life.
-Understanding her son in the Wedding of canann.
Oh well! Lies and lies. Mary isn't the first, Isis- mother of Horus, Maya- mother of Gautama Buddha, Samele-mother of dionysus. and many other mothers of demi-gods like Hercules and Persus All mothers carry a baby for 9months, some even carry triplets and more Mary isn't the first or last to lose her son, or watch him suffer.. you should know that |

Godditex: A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists." "Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and un-kept.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist." "How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!" "No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside." "Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."
Hope You Gain Something From This! Ok. But like a dirty bearded man can go to any of the millions of barbers in the world. I guess man can go to any of the millions of Gods in the world |

Radoillo: "Most parts" is definitely an overstatement.
Meanwhile, history fabricators have been at work. The earliest recorded traditions of Enugu-Ezike people say nothing about the Bini (though the Igala are mentioned, as well as the Nri in some accounts.) This whole Benin thing appeared fairly recently, and is clearly the work of revisionists.
Someone noticed that the eponymous ancestor of the Enugu-Ezike people was called Ezike Oba (sometimes also rendered as Ejige Oba) and leapt to the conclusion that the 'Oba' in the name indicates Bini ancestry. Needless to say there are no grounds at all for reaching that kind of conclusion. Oh! I see. I always thought Benin empire did a good job on igboland Anyway I understand this. African history has been so distorted recently...we have to be careful with the kind of things thrown to us as history |

joywendy: really op no one is focusing you to do a white wedding. just say you don't want to do it, than coming here to rant that it's unafrican. There is always a court marriage which is way much cheaper and faster, if that's your problem.
the trad marriage does it offer a certificate to prove that you are both married? i think not correct me if am wrong. that the most important thing in a wedding the marriage certificate.
There are many things we do in Africa that's not a part of our culture from the beginning. you may as well throw your college degree in to the bin since it's un African. you may as well stop typing in English and start typing in your native dialect because every other thing is unafrican. you may as well stop wearing western attire because its unafrican. you may as well drop your religion and go back to the African religion of sango and all because its unAfrican.
if you claim you want to boost the African culture.
ladies who tend to just be normal and don't apply facial makeup are seen as members of the s.u. when she does she is suffering from cultural slavery. The generalization in your post irritates me. i know some ladies who prefer trad wedding to the white one.
everyone knows that the white wedding isn't from Christianity. so what exactly are you blabbing about?
inferiority complex i laugh in Swahili ain't you part of those Africans? who discriminate others who are trying to continue the old culture by referring to some of things done has barbaric? you will be the first to point fingers at people who decided to wore bare on their feet and tie wrapper.
#smh
hypocrisy at it's peak. white wedding is purely useless. A wedding should be done the african as independent Africans...the English man would not do his wedding the African way We are not slavesbut if u choose to be a slave, don't come here deceiving people about certificate because you can get marriage certificates from traditional weddings |

Culture › Re: Linguistic Evidence Supports Yoruba Migration From Egypt Thesis by macof(m): 8:40pm On Oct 25, 2014 |
AmunRaOlodumare: I'm familiar with Obenga's work. If you read the document more attentively, you will see that Obenga does NOT say Yoruba, and the African language groups cited (Hausa, Oromo, Afar, Mande, etc), are direct descendants of Ancient Egyptians.
Consider on the document, p108 (p11 on the pdf), the "Egypto-African Common Stock"
If you look at the hierarchy of the Egypto-African common stock language, which is a very old language, older than 10 000 BC . You will notice that modern African languages like Cushitic, Chadic, Niger-Congo(aka Niger-Kordofanian) as well as the Ancient Egyptian language are descendant of a common parent language called 'Egypto-African common stock' language in this document.
We must understand by this that at one time in history, before 10 000BC, there was a group of people speaking the language we could call proto-Egypto-African who would later separate and migrate toward different directions in Africa. Starting the proto-Egypto-African language differentiation which would lead ultimately to the various African languages spoken today.
If you read Obenga's other work, you will see he situates the origin of this Egypto-African common stock language before 10 000BC, possibly in the region around Sudan/ethiopia (which is where Ancient Egyptians come from, after the Green Saharan desertification along with other regions like Nabta Playa, in search of greener pastures).
So basically, Obenga's doesn't say the African people cited in the document are direct descendant of dynastic Ancient Egyptians. It's more like both Yoruba and Ancient Egyptians, as well as other African language family like Cushitic, Chadic and other Niger-Congo speakers, are descendants of a common language (thus possibly common people) well before the foundation of Ancient Egypt (but later than the OOA migrations of course). Excellent and brilliant. I don't know why people keep trying to force an Egyptian origin on Yoruba Wats to say Egyptians didn't come from us? |
